A/N: Okay so, if you haven't read any of my other SOA stories then you don't know that I'm trying to wrap up a few unfinished stories that I've had for a while because I've a few new ones that I've haven't posted that I'm working on. So, I think that I'm might be close to being able to write an epilogue for this one. We'll see. Then I'm going to work on Bella Teller Rough Riders. Also if you haven't read it Home is where heart is, is the main story I have right now. It's going to be a while before that one is done because I'm going through the entire series for that one. Anywho, here is chapter 16. Enjoy.

Chapter 16

The next few weeks had been hard. We'd had another funeral for my parents. This being the real funeral. Clay and Jax refused to let me work on starting my restaurant until the Russians had been taken care of. Jax and Hap pretty much stayed glued to mine and Alex's sides. Whether we were at the clubhouse or my house. ATF was still working on all of the evidence for the trial. They'd yet to get a court date. I knew deep down that ATF wouldn't get the justice that I deserved, if anybody did…it would be SAMCRO. Clay had gotten a lead on where they were hiding out, so he'd called in the other charters. I was sitting at the bar with Alex when SAMTAC came in. Kozik was the first one to greet me. He walked over to me and pulled me into a hug. "I'm glad to see that you're okay." He said when he let me go.

"For now. Jax is keeping me safe." I said, knowing that he'd understand. It was no secret that Kozik and I were close. He'd been my Dad's best friend before he'd transferred to Tacoma after their 'deaths'. I guess I was kinda surprised that he hadn't ended up with custody of me. But when I'd first moved to Washington he'd let me stay with him till I found a place.

Jax walked over while we were talking. He put his arm around my shoulders. "Good to see you man." Kozik said. "Glad to see your keeping our girl safe."

"Doing my best. She doesn't always make it easy." Jax said kissing the side of my head.

"No, she doesn't." Kozik said.

I turned and stuck my tongue out at Jax. He leaned down to whisper in my ear. "Can I talk to you?" He asked me and I nodded. "We'll be back." He told Kozik.

I walked with Jax back to his dorm. When we walked in, he closed the door behind us, pushing me against it. He leaned down and kissed me hard. "I haven't been able to do that often lately." He said.

"I know." I said wrapping my arms around his neck. "I missed you lately. You've been busy." I told him.

He put his hands on my hips, gently squeezing them. "I know and I'm sorry. But Clay thinks that he's found the hideout. That's why everyone is in town." He said.

"Time to finish this?" I asked him.

"Yeah. Kozik and the rest of Tacoma are staying here tonight with you, Ma, Donna and Alex. I need to know that your protected while I go and finish this." He said.

I pulled him in for a kiss. "Jax, I need to know that you're going to be safe. I need to know that you're going to come home to me." I said to him.

He moved his hands up to my face. "I promise you. I will be safe. I will come home to you. And when I do, Hap is gonna finally give you your fucking Tat. Do you hear me?" He said to me.

I couldn't believe the words that he was saying. Yes, Jax and I had been in love for years but we'd been too afraid to admit our feelings. Not only that, we hadn't been together that long so I was kinda shocked that we wanted me to have his crow. "You're sure?" I asked and he looked at me like I was crazy.

"There's only one person that I want to have my crow. There's only one person I want to marry. And lastly, there's only one person that I want to have my kids…" Jax said. I could feel the tears. This was a big thing for him. "It's you. It's always been you." He said.

I kissed him again. "Well, in order for any of that to happen, you gotta stay whole and come back to me. You got it?" I said.

"Yes ma'am." He said, pulling me back in for a kiss.

After our heated make out session, Jax and I finally made it back out to the barroom. Gemma and Alex were staring at us. "What?" I asked.

Gemma walked over and slapped Jax upside the head. I was confused. "Your not a teenager anymore Jax. Everyone knows that she's yours." Gem said.

I looked at Jax. "Did you mark me?" I glared at him.

He smirked at me. "A little." He said and I slapped his chest.

"Alright. Time to go." Clay said. He walked over to us. "Stay inside. DO NOT go outside for anything. You need something from a vehicle. Send one of the guys. Understand?" He said to us.

"Got it." We all said.

We stood there and watched all of the guys leave. Now we wait. We wait for them to come back. We wait to see if they all come back. We wait. We wait for anything.
