Again, a long time has passed, and the two had stayed in the city. Luckily for them, their home had enough money to, at the very least, help them start over. With time, Mono and Six were able to get jobs. It was a while, but they've done it… They were able to rent in an apartment... The city was growing even more…

They couldn't believe it. They've been welcomed back in by society, and were now living amongst the other citizens of the city. It felt so very, very different. It felt like they were once again where they should really be. The people were back to normal and were very kind to them, they had better equipment and gadgets, their clothes were now made of better material, and they were living a pretty decent life. It was wonderful, and the two knew they were just getting started again. Despite all of this, however, they've always also known that this is not their true new home…

It was in a forest somewhere, surrounded by beautiful scenery. A wonderful flower field, a refreshing lake, and was the home to a very special red fox.A good amount of months on the city, and they've both already missed their homes. Mono and Six wanted to visit it again, to look at if anything had changed, or if they all stayed the same. How was Fluffy doing? They wanted to look at everything that they had cherished. It was from their own home, to the special tree that they loved. What was stopping them? Nothing

"Here we are…" Mono happily jumped off the raft that they've made. As primitive as it might have looked, they still didn't want to spend too much money on things that they didn't need. "Let's get going, then!" Six excitedly pulled the boy, who didn't put up any resistance. The two ran towards the forest. They may have stayed on the city for a long time, but they didn't forget the forest one bit. They remembered it just as clearly as they've had before. After a bit more exploration to the left side of the shrubberies, they were able to spot their first stop.

"Mono! It's the special tree!"

The boy nodded, and kept following the girl, who ran straight towards the giant plant. The two admired it from below, looking at its soft bark, and beautiful green leaves. Suddenly, Mono jumped a little. Quickly, he ran around the tree. "Hehe… M+S…" The boy mumbled loud enough that Six heard him. "Oh yeah..!" She giddily made her way beside the boy. "M+S…" Six giggled, and flipped her hair. Mono looked at her, giving her a quick peck on the cheek. "Come on! Let's go to our house..!" He gently pulled on the girl, who nodded and followed.

Of course, they couldn't quite get to their home without passing through the flower fields. So why not, they thought, and played there as they made their way to their destination. Eventually, though, they reached their location. "Ahh… It still looks beautiful… Don't you think so too?" Mono slowly looked at the girl. Six nodded, keeping her look at their home. "Of course it's still beautiful!" She protested, making the boy laugh. Finally, they both went to go look inside. Everything was pretty much the same. Objects and furniture were placed properly on where they were supposed to be placed. The only thing that was really different was that everything was a little dusty.

"Woah…"

"You know…" Mono sounded kind of irked. "I really wanna clean this place now…" His OCD was beginning to show. Six laughed, knowing how much this really bothered the boy. "I mean, this IS our home… So we have to keep it clean..!" She looked at the boy with a confident smile. "Alright, then… Well, before we start, let's visit someone first…"

They waited for a while, walking and wandering around the playground. After a few nervous minutes, their wariness went away. "FLUFFY!" They both exclaimed in unison, making the red fox jump back, and retreat behind a bush. It popped its head out, taking a better look. "Oh no! Doesn't he remember us?" Six frowned, looking at Mono. The fox leered at both, before hopping out of the bush. Suddenly, he jumped on the air, and circled the two endlessly. "Fluffy!" Mono exclaimed happily. "He remembers us!" Six followed.

"Come on, Fluffy!"

The two carried their baby to the other side of the river. They put him down inside their house, which they have done before, and started to clean. Fluffy happily roamed around, and looked at the two. After a while, though, he seemed to get bored. The two took turns playing tih him outside, while the other cleans. And after a long time of doing so…

"We're finally done!"

Mono sighed, sitting on a very familiar log. Six sat beside him, catching her breath. Fluffy followed them, though he wasn't as energetic. They were all pretty exhausted. "You know… this gives me an idea…" Mono laughed to himself, as Six looked at him. "This could be like our summer house!" He pointed at the house. The girl nodded, getting what he meant. "You know… That's actually a good idea…" She mumbled to herself, though Mono heard her. They both stayed quiet, just admiring their work. Fluffy rested on both their laps, able to finally go to sleep.

As night came, however, they both had to leave. Mono did his best not to wake up their baby, and gently put him down on the other side of the river, just by the bridge. Quietly, he walked back to Six. "Bye, Fluffy…" They both quietly said their goodbyes at the sleeping red fox. Finally, they made their way out of the forest, and back in to the ocean. They pushed the raft on to the water, and got in. Today was a good, fun day. As exhausted as they were, they did what they wanted, and what made them happy…

Mono and Six came back home with a smile on their faces.
