Many years has passed since they've went to the city. They were able to get decent positions on their jobs, and get a decent life going. They still visited their home in the forest very often, and they still never forgot to also include Fluffy. Mono and Six were finally also able to get their own home. Though it was only little, it was enough for them, and they didn't want any more than what they have.
Naturally, as the city grew, more placed began to pop-up. Different shops different restaurants, different houses, and different places to explore. One stood out from the rest, however, and it was something that Six and Mono has their eyes on. They both wanted to explore the park that has recently just got built. It had very fresh greenery that the two had always liked about going to their home on the forest, it made the city look even sunnier and livelier than it already is, and it was overall just very pleasant and attracting to the eye.
Today, they were going to where exactly they wanted to. Six couldn't be any happier, and Mono was excited too. The boy, however, had something else planned, besides taking her to the park… Something very special…
…
"We're almost there…" Mono reminded Six, who nodded in response. "I can't wait to get there!" The girl, tightened her hold of his arm. The boy chuckled, and gently pulled the girl closer to him. He grew to be unbelievably tall, and was already well above seven feet tall. Six, on the other hand, fit her name. She was only six feet and a couple of inches tall. Though she was definitely taller than most other guys and girls, compared to Mono, she was just like a little kid.
"Here we are!"
Mono exclaimed, looking at the entrance, just a couple of steps away. "Wow!" Six' eyes shined, seeing the green trees. It was so different from the rest of the city. Again, it also reminded her of their home back in the other island. The two made their way inside the park. Immediately, they were surrounded by fresh shrubberies and greenery. The people were also incredibly peaceful, and no garbage or trash was in sight. To their left, they say an empty bench. Seeing that no one else was planning to sit there, the two sat on it.
…
"You know, shouldn't we explore the park a little bit more, instead of just sitting here?" Six said jokingly, looking at the tree above them. It's leaves were bright green, and blocked the blinding sunlight. "Hehe… I just really want to sit here for a bit… We DID walk to here, after all…" He explained, fully resting his back at the bench. "Eh… I guess you're right…" Six shrugged, and leaned against the boy's shoulder. They both stayed quiet for a while, observing nature that surrounded them. The fresh breeze of air… The flying birds… The peaceful and kind people... It was almost perfect…
"Hey, Six…"
The girl hummed, and looked at the boy's direction, who was already looking back at her. "I've been thinking for a long time now…" He kept talking. "You and I have always been together, and we never even thought of going away from each other…" He took a deep sigh, and slowly got up, gently pulling up the girl along. Six began to slow her breaths down. "The last ring I gave you… I know you liked it…" He looked at her with a smile, putting his hand inside his pocket. Six couldn't control herself, and began to slightly jump up and down.
"What about this one..?"
Mono pulled out a very beautiful-looking ring. Its body was vey shiny, and the gem that that rested in the middle was in the shape of a flower. It wasn't a diamond, but that didn't matter in the slightest. "Six!" He said the girl's name fairly loudly. She gave a little squeak, and covered her mouth with both her hands. Other people began to look at their direction. Some stayed silent, while some cheered, though very quietly.
"Will you marry me..?"
"Aww…" "Ahh!" "Wow..!" "That's so sweet..!" The crowd made several cheers. Six stayed quiet, though, admiring the boy, along with the ring. Tears began to flow out her eyes. "Yes! YES!" She answered loudly, nodding her head. The people surrounding them cheered louder, as the two embraced. Not minding the crowd, they gave each other a kiss on the lips. Again, the group of people applauded and praised the two.
Six kept her eyes closed as he gave Mono another hug. Slowly, she opened them back up. She noticed two people who seemed to really stand out from the others on the crowd. She felt like she's seen them before. It didn't matter, though, as Mono's proposal was the most important thing for her right now. She closed her eyes again, keeping her embrace on Mono.
