Sasuke's POV

"So... did you enjoy the date with Hinata?" Naruto spits out his hot coffee when I ask him that.

"That came out of nowhere," he says as we walk to Sarada's school to pick her up.

"Well it's been a few days and I wonder if Sakura was right about the date." I take a sip of my black coffee waiting for a response.

"Speaking of her, are you two dating or something? Don't think I didn't see you guys holding hands and talking a little too closely." There's no point in hiding it from him.

"Yeah," I say nonchalantly.

"Why didn't you tell me man? I'm your best friend. Shouldn't that be something I know?" I grunt. "You could have told me when we were at the restaurant."

"Well I'm telling you now, so it's not a big deal." Naruto smacks me on my arm.

"It is a big deal! I have been trying to get you a girl for three years and you've always said the same damn thing. What made you change your mind?" Saying her would probably be too vague, but it's true. I never thought of dating again until her. Maybe it's because I actually developed feelings for her, unlike the people Naruto tried to set me up with. Plus, she and Sarada get along, which is the biggest criteria. If she doesn't get along with my daughter, she won't be in our life.

I stop walking, making Naruto stop too. "Look Naruto," I rub my forehead with my thumb and pointer finger because of the headache I am getting from this conversation. "I didn't expect this to happen. Especially so quickly, but it did. I should have told you, but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, and it was still the beginning. I didn't want to say anything too soon."

That seems to convince Naruto, but he is still upset. "Alright," and we keep walking.

"But seriously, how did it go with Hinata?" I ask.

Naruto grows a little red in the face. "Good," he mutters. Is he being shy now? "We exchanged numbers when I walked her home. I might give her a call sometime."

Despite how annoying and difficult Naruto can be, I still want him to find someone who will treat him right and put up with him, so this actually makes me happy. "Good for you." I pat his back a little for comfort.

The next turn we make brings us to Sarada's school. Once again, all the middle aged mothers are there, gossiping about their husbands and kids. It doesn't take long for some of them to notice my arrival, and to notice the blond man standing next to me. I just hope they don't make up some weird rumors about us.

When the bell rings, Sarada is one of the first to exit. Once she sees us, she runs directly to me and I engulf her in another hug. "Hey Papa, how was work?" she asks in the hug.

I pull us apart and stand back up. "Normal. What about you? How was school?"

Sarada shrugs. "Normal." She then reaches over to her bag that is on her back and pulls it forward, and unzips one of the pockets. "I need to give this to you though." Sarada hands me a pink sheet. Once I grab it she walks in front of Naruto and gives him playful punches. "Hey uncle!"

Naruto bends down and ruffles her hair. "Hey kiddo! You know, I still need to beat you in Battleship." Ignoring the rest of their conversation, I examine the pink paper.

LAKESIDE AND OTHER SCHOOLS WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO THE ANNUAL ART SHOW! CHILDREN FROM GRADES 2nd-12th WILL BE SHOWING OFF THEIR CREATIVE PROJECTS! EACH GRADE WILL HAVE A WINNER WHO WILL THEN GO TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CITY WIDE ART SHOW FOR ADOLESCENTS! COME SEE ON JUNE 3rd, FROM 6-9PM!

"Sarada, you get to participate in this?!" I ask, shocked. Sarada and Naruto's conversation comes to an end when I speak.

"Yeah! My art teacher says I have really improved and wanted me to put something in." I feel myself smirk.

"That's my girl." After saying that, I grab Sarada's bag and carry it while Naruto gives her a piggyback ride.

As we start walking back, my small daughter starts to play with Naruto's hair anxiously. "Even though I get to participate, I'm really nervous on how well mine will look to the others. There are about five other schools involved, and I really want to do well," she mumbles into Naruto's back.

"Don't give up on yourself Sarada. It is still the beginning," I hear Naruto cheerfully respond with.

"What he said." I reach to pat the back of her head for support, making her giggle and squeeze onto Naruto more.

"Maybe I'll stop by to see your work." Naruto says. "What day is it?"

"June 3rd. 6-9pm."

"I should be off work then. I'll stop by and give some support!" Naruto flashes another one of his bright smiles to Sarada, even though she can't really see it.

We continue to walk in silence, having the cars and voices of people walking by be background noise. As we walk up the stairs to the apartment, Naruto freezes, and when I turn to him, his face makes it seem like a light bulb just went off in his head. "Hey Sasuke, you should invite your girlfriend too!" Sarada's head bolts up from where it was resting on Naruto's neck.

"What?! Girlfriend?!" My daughter's eyes bug out and her mouth forms into the biggest smile I have ever seen filled with excitement and hope. "It's Sakura isn't it!" I turn to Naruto who is smirking at me.

"Something like that," I mumble and keep climbing up the stairs. It takes a minute for Naruto and Sarada to follow me, but I just keep going and don't look back. When both of them are behind me again, I hear Sarada shout, "Invite her to dinner tonight Papa!" If my face wasn't red before, it is now.

"N-no Sarada!"

"Oh come on, why not!?" We finally get to the door. I unlock the door quickly and speed into the living room.

"Because she's probably already had dinner with her family." Once I am by the couch, I place Sarada's bag on it and put the pink paper on the coffee table.

"You'll never know unless you ask Sasuke. Maybe she hasn't eaten yet," Naruto says as he closes the door behind him. I give him my worst death glare, which he responds to with a smug grin on his face. I would love to smack it off his face.

Sarada climbs down his back and her two small feet touch the floor. "Yeah. There's no harm."

At this point, I am defeated mentally. I just worked, I have coffee beans in my pants, there is no point in fighting with two people who have enough energy to run a 10k. I take a deep breath and comb my hand through my hair which is a little too greasy for my liking. "Fine, I will ask her, but I'm taking a shower first. I smell almost as bad as Naruto and that is BAD." I can tell how much Naruto wants to curse at me, but since Sarada is in the room, he bites his tongue.

Once I get out of the shower, I relax on the couch and text Sakura.

Sasuke: Hey Honey.

Sakura: Hello!

Sasuke: I know this is very last minute but, have you had dinner yet?

Sakura: Not yet. I just finished work and grocery shopping.

Sasuke: Sarada wants to know if you want to come over and have dinner with us.

Sakura: ...Just Sarada? Not anyone else? Not a tall, older man?

So she wants to tease huh?

Sasuke: Well actually, yeah, Naruto wants you to have dinner with us too. I just didn't think you would want him to care.

Sakura: Haha, very funny. So funny I forgot to laugh.

I let out a chuckle before responding.

Sasuke: So, are you free?

Sakura: I'm sorry Babe, but I promised my parents I would cook for them tonight.

Even though I wasn't the one who suggested this, I feel a pit of pain in my chest when she texted that.

Sasuke: Oh, okay. Then I will see you tomorrow.

Sakura: How about this weekend? I can even cook. I know how bad you are.

Sasuke: That sounds good.

Sakura: See you tomorrow!

"Aw man! She can't come." I jump from my seat after hearing a feminine voice on the back of my shoulder. I turn to see my daughter in her Pjs, with her hair in a ponytail.

"Have you been there the whole time?" I question.

"Yup! I was there even when you called her... Hooonnnneeeyyy," Sarada teases. I mess up Sarada's hair to distract her from me avoiding her as I walk to the kitchen.

"What do you guys want to eat? Subs? BLT? Boxed Mac and Cheese? Instant ramen?"

"That!" Naruto shouts from the dinner table. Of course he said that. Sarada nods her head with Naruto.

"All right but you need to have some vegetables too," I say to Sarada, and with that, I start.

Sakura's POV

I wish I was able to have dinner with Sasuke and Sarada. Last night wasn't the greatest. My mother kept shouting at me about how I'm not looking for a new job anymore, and then my father started to yell back at her, saying how I am still young and that being a waitress isn't a bad job. Mom countered that by saying that being a waitress won't pay off my loans, and that I wasted their money if I don't get a job that is needed with my degree.

She isn't wrong. Ever since I started dating Sasuke, I haven't been looking for a new job. Despite how annoying this job is, Sasuke works with me, so I'm happy, but she has a point. What was the purpose of working hard in college and spending so much money if I don't use that degree, and who knows how long Sasuke will be working here. As soon as he finds a better paying job that works around his schedule more, he will leave.

"Welcome! How may I help you?"

A middle aged man with a big beard and nearly bald asks, "Can I have a Central American Geisha Coffee bean coffee? Black."

"Of course. That will be $2.70." The man gave me a credit card. After scanning it through the machine, I give it back to him and start making the drink.

The front door bell rings, making me turn to see a raven haired man, holding a bag filled with the uniforms we are given for working here. "Morning Sasuke."

"Morning. Have there been any casualties yet today?"

"Not yet, but I have a feeling that today will be one of those days."

"Well I am excited to experience it with you, but before that, I gotta change." Sasuke takes some steps away from the counter and walks to the back room.

After five minutes of staring at the front door, I decide to see where he is. I walk out of the counter and to the back. There, I see him buttoning his black vest. I can't see his face though because his back is to me.

I wonder how long Sasuke will actually stay here. How many more days will I get to see him this often? I find my feet moving towards him quietly. How often will I see him after he stops working here? He will be busy with his new job and his daughter. Then, I find my arms wrapping around his waist from behind. Sasuke jumps up a little, but when he figures out it's me, he relaxes into my arms. "Aren't you afraid of getting caught, Sakura?" he says in a low, seductive voice.

I rest my face onto his back before answering. "Everyone else is working right now. No one is going to come in here." A silence fills the room after I say that. Sasuke stays still, despite how his vest isn't fully buttoned up. "Sasuke?"

After a minute, Sasuke turns around to face me. I loosen my grip on his waist so he can turn, and then tighten it again when he does. We both just stare into each other's eyes. His dark, onyx eyes are really hypnotizing. I could probably stare into them for a long time and never break contact. However, today they look a little different. Instead of being shiny and black, they're more fogged with... with... lust.

Before I know it, Sasuke's head bends down towards mine, and his red lips cover mine. At first, the kisses are short and sweet, but soon, I feel his tongue tracing itself across my bottom lip, and his hands sliding up and down my arms, waist, and hips. I happily oblige, and open my mouth for him, and he wastes no time in tracing the inside of my mouth, starting from the back to my teeth.

A small moan escapes my mouth, making his tongue vibrate a little. Sasuke tilts my head a little more to get better access to my mouth. Sasuke finally takes his mouth away from me to catch a breath, but I move forward to him before he can pull fully away from me. It's my turn to kiss him. I move my hands to the back of his head and grip and pull on his hair. Both mine and his tongue continue to fight and twist with each other as Sasuke pulls me even closer to him so that there is no space in between us.

I'm pretty sure a little bit of drool comes out of my mouth, but my brain isn't comprehending anything right now. All I can think about is how Sasuke's touch makes my skin burn for more, and how his kisses make me feel like I'm on cloud nine.

We release the kiss again, making a line of saliva split when we are farther apart. His lips are even more red than they were before, and his eyes are more clouded, and I'm a hundred percent sure that I look the same way.

Sasuke moves his lips from my lips, to my cheek, then jawline. I wrap my arms around his neck and moan out his name in a whispering tone. "Sasuke."

"Sakura..."

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN HERE?!" Both Sasuke and I escape from our private world as soon as we hear another voice. When I turn my face, I see the one who just caught us making out, and he is probably the worst person to be caught by right now.

"Hi ."
