Third Person's POV

puts his elbows on his brown desk. He hasn't said anything ever since Sasuke and Sakura entered his office, which makes Sakura sweat more because when doesn't talk, you know he's mad. then hides his mouth from them by folding his hands together and putting in front of it.

The silence makes Sasuke squirm in his seat and clear his throat to try to end it. After another minute, inhales and mutters. "So... are you guys... dating?" He doesn't make eye contact when he speaks.

Sasuke is about to answer the question, but Sakura cuts him off. "We're so sorry for not telling you. And we're sorry you had to walk in on that." Sakura mumbles the last part and lowers her head to look at her anxious fingers twisting each other.

Again, doesn't speak. His big eyes staring at the dirty floor instead of his workers. Only cars driving by and the ticking noise of the clock is present. The light coming in from the window blinds Sakura, but she is too afraid of losing her job to do anything about it.

"Sir?" Sakura finally speaks. clears his throat.

"Okay," he starts off with. "I am fine with this."

"Really?" Sasuke questions. "You seem to be a little disturbed and... mad."

"I was just shocked. I didn't expect to walk into the back room and see that. How long have you guys been going out?"

"A little over a month," says Sakura.

clears his throat. "Alright, but I should tell you that if I see you guys making out in the back room, or anywhere at all..."

"It won't happen again!" Sakura interrupts him.

"Also, no other showings of PDA when working."

"Yes sir," Sasuke mutters.

"Now, get back to work." Sasuke and Sakura lift up from their chairs and walk towards the door. As Sasuke opens it, Sakura keeps saying 'thank you' to , making Sasuke pull her out of the office. Once they close the door, all three adults let out a sigh in relief.

"An art show?" Sakura asks Sasuke as they walk to Sarada's school.

"Yeah. She wants you to come." Both stop walking on the sidewalk and wait for the cars to stop so they can walk across. "It's on June 5th."

The cars stop driving and people, along with the couple walk across, while holding each other's hand. Once they get to the end, Sakura says, "I should be able to go." They both take one more turn and enter into the pick up area at the school.

Many of the middle aged mothers gasp as they see Sasuke with a woman. Some of them form a group and whisper to each other, guessing who the pinked haired girl was. Once the bell rings, they all stop and turn to the exit, where a bunch of small children carrying bags and lunch boxes come out.

A minute later Sarada is noticeable. Instead of being gleeful and jumpy, she is spaced out and is dragging her feet. However, it stops when she lifts her head up to see Sakura. "Sakura?!" she shouts.

Sakura giggles in response and waves her over. Sasuke prepares himself to be hugged again, and takes a few steps forward, but Sarada runs past him and hugs Sakura. Sarada hugging Sakura leaves both adults in shock, along with the other parents in the radius. When Sarada doesn't let go of her, Sakura wraps her arm around her softly. "It's nice to see you too Sarada."

After a couple of seconds, Sarada breaks the hug and says, "You never told me you are dating Papa."

Sakura chuckles. "Sorry dear. You're okay with it right?"

"Of course! Are you staying for dinner?" Sarada asks with hope in her eyes.

"No, not tonight." Sarada's head drops. "But I can this weekend." Hope fills her again.

"We are going to walk her home." The dark haired male walks next to them and interrupts. "Looks like you are her new favorite Sakura," he says, half jokingly, half with jealousy.

Sarada giggles and hugs her father. "Hi Papa."

"Hi Darling," he responds with. Sasuke ends the hug and grabs the girl's bag, and then takes her hand. "Let's get going. I want to get home soon."

The three of them walk together through the city, Sarada doing most of the talking. She mentions the art show and Sakura agrees to go with them, making Sarada smile even more than they thought possible.

Sakura's house and stone walkway becomes noticeable quicker than they all hope for. Once they get to the start of the walkway, Sakura turns to them. "I guess this is where we part," she says. Sarada glances down to the ground with a pout on her face. Sakura lets out a sweet smile and pats her head. "I'll see you this weekend." That makes the dark haired girl move her head back up.

"Yeah," she smiles. "See you this weekend, and at the art show."

"Of course." Sakura then looks to her boyfriend, questioning how they will say goodbye. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Sakura then leans in a little to him, hoping for him to get the message. Sasuke understands what Sakura is doing. He quickly turns himself away from her to hide his shy face. "Ye-ah, see you," and starts walking.

The green eyed girl lets out a sigh, and Sarada giggles. "I think Papa is shy."

"Probably because you are here. You should follow him."

"Okay, bye bye." Sarada jogs to her father while waving back to Sakura. She gives her a small wave, and turns to her house. At the corner of her eye, she notices that the curtain moves in one of the windows, but she doesn't think much of it.

Once she enters her house, her shoes are thrown off, and her bag is dropped on the floor. "I'm home," she says. She doesn't get a response, but can hear movement in the kitchen, so she walks towards it.

In the kitchen, she sees her mother, chopping veggies on a cutting board. "Hello dear," she says. Sakura goes to the fridge and grabs a water.

"Hi Mom." Sakura makes her way into the hallway she came from to go upstairs, when her mother speaks again.

"Was that him?" Sakura freezes.

"Yeah." Sakura thinks about how the curtain had moved so aggressively, and she realizes that her mother was watching her.

The noise of the knife meeting the board fills the room. "Who was the girl?"

"His daughter." The noise gets louder and faster.

"He has a daughter?"

"Yes."

"Who's the mother? Is she around?" The chopping noises stops as her mother slides the veggies into a bowl.

"I don't know the mother, and she isn't part of their lives." More chopping noise starts. "Can I go now?" Sakura asks.

"I don't think you should be dating someone with a kid." This makes Sakura abruptly turn herself to face her mother.

"Why?" Sakura's mother looks up to her daughter without stopping.

"Think of the kind of future you will have. Being a mother to a kid that isn't yours. Actually, you would be a step-mom, and kids don't like their step parents. Plus, taking care of a kid is a never ending job, you won't be able to work in the job you want, or travel, or have a family of your own."

Sakura tightens her fists. She wants to shout, but knowing her mother, it wouldn't be a good idea. "It doesn't have to be like that."

"Trust me, Sakura. When my father remarried, I never got along with her, and I never got along with the kids they had together. Why not spend time on looking for a better job and start paying off those loans?"

"Just because it was like that for you, doesn't mean it would be like that for me!" This time, Sakura does shout, which shocks her mother, and angers her more.

"Do NOT shout at me like that!" Now, she is yelling. However, before the fight can get any worse, a middle aged man appears from the living room carrying a mug that was once filled with decaf coffee.

"What's going on?" he asks softly. Sakura turns back to the hallways and starts to walk.

"Nothing Dad," she mumbles.

After the fight Sakura had with her mother, they didn't talk for the rest of the week. When Sakura says she was leaving to have dinner at Sasuke's, she doesn't say anything. At Sasuke's house, Sasuke tries his best at cooking something harder than reheating. So far, nothing is going right. The vegetables are too dry and burnt, the rice isn't fully cooked, and one side of the meat is cooked while the other isn't, somehow.

"Damn it!" Sasuke burns his hand on the frying pan while trying to cut the meat to see the inside section of it. Small yet fast steps come from the hallway as Sarada runs into the kitchen.

"What's wrong Papa?" Sasuke runs his hand under the facet to calm down the pain.

"Don't worry, Sweetheart. I just burned myself."

"I'll get some aloe vera," she says, and then runs back down the hallway to the bathroom.

While he continues to cool his hand, a knock is heard by the entrance. Sasuke turns off the facet and wipes down his hand as he walks to the door. On the other side reveals a short, slim, pink haired woman, with her hair in a ponytail, carrying a grocery bag. "Hi Sasuke," she says.

"Hey." Sasuke opens the door wider for her to enter, and they share a short kiss when she walks in. "The food isn't ready yet, so make yourself comfortable." Sasuke closes the door and Sakura places her bag on the table.

"I brought rolls. I can put them in the oven for a minute to toast them," she says with a bag of them in her hand.

"Sounds good." Sasuke grabs the rolls and walks back into the kitchen to finish cooking.

"Do you want any help?" Sakura tip toes into the kitchen so Sasuke won't notice.

Sasuke attempts to cut the meat again, only to see one side too raw and the other too cooked. Sakura helping would be great for him, but once again, he is too stubborn. "Nope. I'm all good." Sakura takes a peak at the food over his shoulder.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." As he says that, the pot holding the rice starts to overflow.

"Uh Sasuke... the rice is boiling over." Sasuke jumps when he sees that, and then turns the fire temperature down.

"I got the aloe vera. Took me forever to find," a high pitched voice speaks next to the kitchen.

Having aloe vera out confuses Sakura, until she sees Sasuke's hand. "Sasuke, you got burned!" When she says that, Sasuke moves his hand away from her view and tries to hide it. "That does it! Go sit and put some aloe vera on that burn. I will handle dinner," Sakura commands.

Sasuke mumbles a bit to himself before walking to the living room. Once he sits on the couch, Sarada rubs the aloe on his hand. "Thank you," he whispers to her.

A few minutes pass, and Sakura finishes cooking everything. The dinner goes by smoothly, Sarada spends most of her time talking to Sakura as she listens, and Sasuke watches them quietly, feeling content with everything.

Once all of them finish eating, Sarada goes to brush her teeth and sleep, and Sakura starts to wash the dishes. As she continues to scrub the pots and plates, two strong arms wrap around her waist from behind, like the way she hugged Sasuke earlier, but instead and her head resting on his back, Sasuke's head rests in her neck. Sakura relaxes into him and continues to clean the dishes. This brings Sasuke to start placing butterfly kisses on her neck.

"Come sit down with me," he whispers.

Sakura giggles. "I will, but first, let me clean these plates."

His grip on her waist tightens. "You don't have to do that. It's my house, and besides, you already fixed the demon that was originally dinner." In order to get her to agree faster, Sasuke breathes into her neck and out, making her lose her balance a little.

Sakura resists the urge to lean her head to the side for him. "Just give me five minutes."

"...Fine." Sasuke releases his grip on her and walks towards the hallway. "I'll go check on Sarada."

Sasuke turns the doorknob to Sarada's room and sees her laying in her bed. "Did you enjoy this evening?" he asks her as he walks to the bed.

"I had a lot of fun," she mumbles while trying to keep her eyes open. Sasuke sits down on the side of her bed and rubs her head.

"Get some rest," he whispers and kisses her forehead. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Papa."

When Sasuke walks back into the kitchen and living room, he sees Sakura has finished washing the dishes and is sitting on the couch waiting for him. "Do you want beer?" he asks.

"Sure." Sasuke walks to the fridge and grabs two bottles, and Sakura observes the apartment. "The last time I was here, I was so nervous, I never got a chance to look around. Your home is very nice." Sasuke walks around the couch and hands her one of the uncapped bottles.

"Thanks. I didn't do much with the decorating." Sasuke takes a sip of his beer.

"Well, I like the simple look." Both of them place the bottles down on the coffee table in front of them.

Not even a second later, Sasuke leans in and kisses her passionately, and Sakura responds back. He has his hand in her hair, and his other hand on the back of the couch to keep him up, while Sakura has her arms wrapped around his neck. Sakura slips her tongue into his mouth and battles with his. She then lets out a quiet moan, making Sasuke use his body to push her down on the couch, with him on top of her.

Both of them lift their legs from the floor to the couch to get more comfortable. One of Sakura's hands moves to Sasuke's back, and the other grips his hair. Sasuke slides his hands up and down her body, then rests one on her lower back and her neck. Sasuke releases the kiss to catch his breath, but Sakura pulls him down again and moans into his mouth.

As they continue to make out, Sasuke slides the hand that is on her lower back to her hip, and then to her butt. Sakura releases another moan, and puts the hand that was on his back, under his shirt, making it lift up halfway.

To heat things up more, Sasuke stops kissing her mouth, and moves to her neck, starting with soft kisses, then to small bites and hickeys. Sakura arks her back.

'Think of the kind of future you will have.' The voice of Sakura's mother runs into her head randomly. Then, the fight they had a few nights back replays in her head. Sasuke moves his kissing back to her mouth, but stops when she doesn't respond as passionately as she did before.

"What's wrong?" he asks in concern.

Sakura breaks away from the trance she was in and looks into Sasuke's eyes. "...Nothing. It's just... I had a fight with my mother not too long ago."

"Oh," he says, and then moves himself away from on top of her and sits back down on the couch. "Do you want to talk about it?"

Sakura sits up. "Not really... I'm sorry I interrupted us, we can continue." Sakura crawls to Sasuke, but he stops her by placing his hands on her shoulders.

"Don't worry." Sasuke caresses her cheek for comfort and smiles at her. "But you should probably go home now. It's late and your mother is probably getting worried." Sakura also smiles at him.

"I probably should." Both adults then rise off the couch. Sakura goes to the door and ties on her shoes and Sasuke puts the bottles of beer in the kitchen.

"Text me when you get home so I know you're safe," Sasuke says as he walks to the door.

"I will." Sasuke reaches over Sakura and opens the door for her. "Goodnight."

Sasuke leans down and kisses her sweetly like the way they kissed when she first entered. "Goodnight."
