Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom or Spider-Man. I do not own the original story this is based on.
The American Museum of Natural History. One of many destinations of tourism in New York. And today, it was packed. Tony Stark had donated money to a new exhibit on his father's works and his company's history. Many ingenious machines were on display.
Tucker had left the group, staring Velma was now in the city. He netted out of there faster than the Flash to be with his girlfriend.
Knowing the Horizon students could be uncomfortable with her, Sam looked up any nearby rallies and found one near some random industry in response to their human rights program. It seemed some companies were adopting more robots to cut fundings and raise revenue.
They left Danny with Felicia, Peter, Miles, Anya, and Gwen. The group, mainly Peter, rushed to the new Stark Industry exhibit to see the fantastic inventions over the years.
Experimental equipment filled the museum wing. Everything looked as if it belonged in old sci-fi films. The machines were large with light bulbs and dials, with some looking straight out of a mad scientist's lab.
"Dude! That's the console Howard Stark used with Dr. Erskine back during World War II!"
Miles widened his eyes as he took another look at the lab equipment.
"Are you telling me this is where they created Captain America!?" Miles asked in astonishment.
Peter nodded, and the two soon began thoroughly studying the equipment. Captain America, the man who was frozen and discovered in ice, was still out in the city today, fighting crime.
Anya and Gwen giggled as the boys awed at the machine. They were fans but mainly took photos of Peter and Miles geeking out together. The hero may not be Superman, but no one doubted Captain America as a legend.
Danny included, he was an inspiration to do great things to many people. Even today, the man still made the news with his fellow Avengers, reaching the networks in Amity Park. It was inspiring to see.
"You gotta admit, it's pretty cool," Danny said, eyeing the equipment. He couldn't keep up with the Horizon students but still had fun.
After all, you didn't need to be a super genius to like Captain America.
Kara Kent loved her time off from being Supergirl eating a piece of New York Pizza while sitting on top of the Statue of Liberty. She'd even stopped a couple of mugging on her way to the penthouse apartment Bruce owned in New York when he needed to come to the Big Apple.
Clark promised her he'd call if he needed her help for anything that required more than just the Man of Steel.
Not that she was complaining, but Kara wondered if there was anything more to it. But she pushed that thought aside as she ventured around town, on foot.
Finishing her pizza, Kara stood up, wondering what to do now. New York was a vibrant place, and she still only scratched the surface. Maybe she'd check out the astute of Liberty then head to Central Square.
And she wasn't the only one as Jake Long gave his new friends a tour of New York. After the incident at the beach, Howard could use some cheering up.
"Cunningham, why were we at a museum!?" Howard complained, bored-looking around the museum. "of all the places we could go while in New York, why were we at a museum!?"
Howard and his family for spring break had taken a trip to New York with Randy tagging along. His sister, Heidi, had been begging for a chance of pace for her blog's me-cast. And with the popularity it was getting locally, the Weinerman parents couldn't say no.
"Because the nomicon," Randy explained, reminding the importance of the book. When the book gave a menacing glow earlier, the boy opened it to have his mind transported inside. It took the Ninja to a paper cut out of feudal Japan with doodles emphasizing its message. There was the ninja along with a dragon and spirit. The trio had high five as a foe laid fallen, but more forces came to attack. The sides collided as dust covered the duel. As it dissipated, the only thing were words that said:
With new allies come new foes.
Once again, Randy had no idea what it meant. He honestly thought it talked about something far off. But the boy came along regardless. After all, with the sorcerer balls stolen, there wasn't much he could do about being the ninja. Even fighting McFist seemed more out of habit than a grudge.
It was only a day after the boy met the first American Dragon, Jake Long, during a ninja run. Randy couldn't help donning the suit to keep his skills up to the task. The two had met by accident but quickly became friends.
They even exchanged info, like secret identities. A little too fast, but it worked out so far.
Jake had been taking the two through a tour in New York. While Howard wasn't up for anything involving walking, especially when he found out no one in the city drives, his parents told him to hang out with new friends or help his sister.
The rest is history.
"Yo, Randy, Howard, this way," Jake beckoned. He pointed to a road leading down the center. "Let's hit Times Square. It's da bomb!"
"When are getting something to eat?" Howard grumbled.
Randy glared, but the fat boy's word didn't affect Jake, who smiled.
"When we get there. Times Square had some of the places to eat. Everyone wants to set up shop there."
That had Howard running for the hills. Or as far as his stamina allowed him past the subsequent two blocks.
Randy and Jake chuckled as they walked along with the now limping Howard.
"Look at all the stores!" Jenny exclaimed. She pressed her face against the glass at the hardware on display in a nearby computer store. New York stores made her hometown's meek. Everything here was bold, including the tech.
The New Yorkers around barely paid mind to the fact a six-and-a-half-foot robot girl was walking around the place like a child. Everyone had been used to seeing the Avenger and others like the Fantastic Four flying around. Not to mention a specific pair of spidermen that swung around.
Speaking of which, one such superheroic flew by.
"Is that...Ironman?!" Jenny squealed in delight. She blushed as her eyes zoomed on the armored man; the specs and designs were cutting edge. The robot girl had a crush on the man, brains and all. The suit of armor he wore helped. Even he wasn't the best role model.
"XJ9! Put your eyes back into their sockets, right now, young lady!" Nora scolded.
"But moooom! Ironman! And it's not just him!" Jenny pulled out a monitor from her chest. It displayed an update from a certain website. "The Kim Possible website stated she might be here too!"
"I don't care! Now put your monitor back in your chest!"
"But moooooom!"
People laughed as they walked by. Some took photos, with fewer wanting selfies, but no one wanted to ask Jenny if they could.
Cowards they were, but one girl stopped to take a look. She was not one of the crowd, being surprised by the appearance of the robot girl. She pushed her long red hair out of the way as she took a photo, texting it to her cousin.
"Huh...wow there's something you don't see everyday," the redhead commented. "I wonder if the boys are having as fun as me."
The girl walked away as she went back to her current events, mainly her assignment for class.
Darkness fell with the sunset. The city lit up the night sky as people were still up and about partying. The gardens and sites seemed open as lights kept a sense of festiveness on them. A typical New York night with all the fixings.
And that was the way Black Cat liked it. Well, on most days.
Tonight was serious. He called, and the girl couldn't refuse. He was not the kind of client you wanted hunting you. Especially with all the eyes he had in the city.
Bypassing the security was a cakewalk for Black Cat. Sometimes it was too easy, but any thrills were insignificant tonight. The lasers were slipped past as the kitten avoided all cameras.
The kitten made her way to the security station, where she promptly knocked out the guard with sleeping gas. All she had to do was press a few buttons, and the system would be offline.
But just as she reached for the console, webs pinned her against the machine. The kitten turned to see two spidermen, the original leaning against the door with his partner behind him.
"Nuh uh uh Cat don't you know not to touch the exhibits" Spider-Man made one of his famous little quips.
"Oh but you know what they say spider curiosity killed the cat," Black Cat cooed.
A pink blast flew through the hallway outside, knocking the spiders out. The heroes groaned, landing on their feet, as they noticed three figures.
"Huh, I guess he was right," the thief said, getting out something from her coat. She pressed the button, and all security was down for the count. "I did need a team."
One of the first groups the kitten met was the three students from Hive Academy, a place for gifted young students to learn about proper evil. In theory, it was an odd thing to hear, but she was surprised her contact reached out to such a place.
This group consisted of Mammoth, Gizmo, and Jinx.
The first was the brawn, a huge muscles teenage boy with long, red hair and a goatee, and his eyes are white with no pupils. His uniform consists of a sleeveless black unitard with a yellow pattern and circles across his costume. There were wristbands and shoes with the same design.
Gizmo was the kid genius, a very short, bald boy with pupil-less eyes and green goggles. His entire costume is a dark green one-piece with the shoes built in, and he had a gray appliance in the middle of his chest with a harness resembling a backpack. A console of gadgets.
Last, but not least, there was their leader Jinx. She had pale grey-white skin, pink blush marks on her cheeks, and pink eyes with cat-like pupils. Her hair is pink, horseshoe-shaped, curving outward at the tips, and sectioned off with metallic black bands near the top of her head.
She wears a short, black, long-sleeved dress with a jagged trim and a jagged, violet collar that covers her shoulders with black-and-violet striped leggings underneath her skirt, black platform boots with violet soles, and a black choker with a violet charm. The girl walks with confidence as she eyes the spidermen.
"I've always wanted to swat a spider," Jinx said with a cocky smile.
"Well, too bad that's not today." Spider-Man stood up on the wall as his partner joined him. "But today is your day for getting you butts kicked. I'm Spider-Man and this is Spy-D, and we'll be your heroes today."
"Please remember to fill out our survey on how good we beat you after going to jail," Spy-D added with a smile.
"Let's squash these bugs!" Mammoth screamed.
"We're arachnids," Spider-Man corrected. Not that the bad guys cared.
As Spider-Man and his friend dropped down, Gizmo hacked the console. All security systems were off, turning the entire building into a battlefield. The nasty boy followed his friends as Jinx and Mammoth rushed forward to give the spider boys a piece of their mind as Black Cat turned to get the items on her list.
But a green blast interrupted everyone. Black Cat looked back to see Danny Phantom floating down. She stood there staring as his feet touched the ground. The girl felt her heart beat faster.
"I heard New York was the city that never sleeps, but I didn't know they could party like this," Danny said as he landed, gaining some looks from the two girls.
"Danny! Glad you could make it!" Spider-Man said with a wave. He pointed to the bad guys. "And you're just in time for the butt whooping."
Mammoth growled at that comment. He ran forth to squash the spider-themed hero but found himself webbed to the floor. Looking up, he saw the other Spider-Man.
"Say, is is just or does this Mammoth guy kind of remind you of the Rhinos?"Spy-D asked, making Mammoth snarl in anger as Gizmo snickered. While the pink-haired Hive villainess preoccupied herself by going up against the admittedly cute ghost hero
"So you're Danny Phantom," Jinx said as she twirled and somersaulted. She stopped right at the boy's face, giving him a clear look at her smiling face. "Gotta say, you're cute. You seeing anyone?"
Black Cat growled as the pale girl leaned in. She quickly suppressed her feelings. No doubt He was watching, and anything he saw was information to use. Which meant being professional came first.
Of course, Black Cat flirted on the job, so there was leeway. Of course, that didn't mean there were boundaries.
"Jinx, we'll stare at the cute ghost boy later. Right now we have a job to do."
Danny glanced at Black Cat with a raised brow. This was the first time he heard her talk like that, as she always made time for flirting. The ghost boy's thoughts were interrupted as he felt a hand on his head. He turned to see Jinx giving a sultry smile at him.
"Too bad," Jinx pouted before she surged energy into her palm. "But, well have more time to talk later."
Jinx blasted Danny back head first. The ghost boy twirled in the air before landing on the ground. Whatever the girl did hurt a lot more than he thought.
"Sorry about this." Jinx walked over. "I'm just a walking case of bad luck."
"Great. Just what I need, another cute girl who causes bad luck flirting with me," Danny groaned as he got up.
"Hmmm...cute and knows how to flirt. I like you," Jinx giggled.
Danny fought off the blush on his face as he took his fists to the bad luck girl. That left the big guy and nasty little boy to deal with the spiders.
"Stand still so I can squash you!" Mammoth roared, swinging his fists. Gizmo backed him up with lasers from his console, grinning with glee.
The Spidermen split up as they delay with the duo.
"Woah! Careful big guy, we Spider-men are a particularly endangered species." Spidey said as he dodged Mammoth's swinging fists. While helping Miles shoot webbing at Gizmo's metal spider legs and extra robot arms.
"Then prepare to be extinct!" Mammoth cried out, slamming into the boy. Or he would've if not for the fact Danny phased through him.
"Phantom!?" Spy-D said in surprise. He looked to see Spider-Man handling Jinx, who was not too happy to see the ghost boy switch partners on her.
"What's the matter, Jinxy, afraid of spiders?" Spider-Man quipped with web shots. The girl's energy waves met his rounds, canceling them out. The boy stared as the now shattered webbing dropped to the ground. "This might be harder than I thought."
"You have no idea," Jinx teased as she backflipped, giving off waves of jinxing energy as the floors cracked and exhibits fell.
Spy-D and Danny took off as Mammoth fell with Gizmo's console sprouting wings. While small-framed, Jinx held a dangerous power, and she knew how to use it.
"Great," Danny groaned as he looked at Black Cat, who took the time to leave the room. The ghost boy chased after her, not wanting her to escape. "Oh no you don't!"
But Jink landed in front as she fired a wave of bad luck, knocking him back.
"Of course you'd go from the pretty ones," she quipped, playfully rolling her eyes as Mammoth and Gizmo grouped up behind her. "Then again, I'm in the same department."
The trio walked to Spider-Man and Danny Phantom, their leader, pulsing her jinxing powers in her hands. It was then Spy-D swung into the trio and knocked them down. The group rolled over to the wall with a painful thud before getting up to glare at the black and red spider.
"I got these clowns! You guys stop Black Cat!" Spy-D yelled.
"Hey! Who you calling a circus, snot rocket!?" Gizmo yelled, fitting a few rockets.
With great agility and sharp web-shooting, Spy-D slung one of the rockets back as he avoided the others. The tiny missile landed near Mammoth, making the big guy step back angrily.
"Hey! Watch where you're throwing those!" Mammoth yelled.
Danny and Spider-Man nodded as they raced to the exit. Jinx tried to stop them, but an extra layer of fresh webbing covered her hands together. The girl wasted no time dissipating the layer as she noticed lasers following Spy-D, coming towards her. While outnumbered, the other spiderman was managing fine as the two heroes followed Black Cat.
But things were never ass easy as the heroes wanted. Danny's ghost sense soon went off, alerting the presence of more trouble.
"A ghost? Here!? Now!?" Danny groaned loudly. He looked around for any clues.
The biggest clue was when a musical note came in the form of a fist that slammed into the ghost boy.
Danny groaned as he looked up to see Ember floating above. The diva wore a sultry, wicked grin as she stared at him.
"Hey, Dipstick..." Ember cooed. The rocker ghost appeared out of flames and struck a chord, summoning a giant fist at the ghost boy.
"Ember?! what are you doing here!?" Danny stared at the ghostly diva. Of all his enemies to appear, why her?
"It's nothing personal dipstick" Ember mocked "it's all business."
"Why shouldn't that surprise me more?"
"Awwww...did I break your heart?" Ember cooed with a false tone of concern. She engulfed herself in flames before teleporting in front of Danny. "If it makes you feel better, I'll give you my full attention."
Spider-Man webbed the diva's face as Danny blasted her. While the Hive Trio was one thing, leaving their friend in their hand and a new ghost was another. They weren't sure about Spy-D fighting alone and outnumbered.
Things got worse as a wall of sand blocked him. The ghost boy stared in disbelief before a fist formed and went through his head, making him step back from the shock as a young girl his age formed from the sand.
"And guess what? Ember's not alone." The girl cracked her knuckles. "The name's Sand Girl, and taking you down gonna get me in good with the big man."
Danny groaned, not wanting any of this. The boy glowed a bright blue, with yet another villain showing up to get in his way. He fired at Sandgirl, and within seconds, ice crawled up her body, stopping her cold.
"What the—"
"Looks like I just put your sandy fun time on ice," Danny quipped.
Sandgirl struggled as the ice encased her. She was frozen solid like a display among the many exhibits. Spider-Man landed beside her, relishing the state she was in after their last encounter. He took a moment to honor someone in silence.
As Danny foil Sandy, Spider-Man went quick to work with his ecto-webs.
"You better not get any in my hair," Ember flared. Her flaming bed of hair fired up as she struck a cord on her instrument.
"Hey, don't worry," Spider-Man quipped as he swung out of the way. "I'll come out with peanut butter." The boy twisted and danced around the ghostly attacks with aerial acrobatics and reflexes while firing off ectoplasmic webbing. He made multiple shots at the guitar, but the flames spouted from the ghost's hair burned any hits away.
"I guess you don't burn out as fast as other pop stars."
"No duh, Wed-Head! But I'm willing to bet that you'll burn just fast as any other bug!" Ember shouted as she struck another cord and added a bit more heat to it this time. But they failed to hit the agile spider, who leaped and swung all over.
Spider-Man landed on a wall, where he fired another round of ecto-webs.
"But I take it you hit the chart as well as you hit me."
Ember growled as she did a solo of soundwaves to attack the spider-themed hero. Despite having more than enough firepower, her annoying foe proved elusive with his swings and webbing.
"Danny, go on without me and keep Black Cat from making another getaway! I'll take care of this literal Hot Headed mess and the museum's newest work of art." Spiderman said as he cracked his knuckles while keeping an eye on Sandgirl too. "I'm thinking of naming the artwork Troubled Youth."
"Alright then, I'll leave them in your capable hands. But take this just to be sure." Danny said as he tossed the Fenton Thermos to Spidey, which he caught and webbed to his waist for safekeeping. Danny Phantom had complete faith in Spiderman's skills and tech know-how to take on Ember Mclain. However, once Danny continued his chase for Black Cat, something unexpected happened that got in his way.
It was then a man in a green scorpion suit jumped from the walls. He struck his tail into the ground as a show of force. He caught the attention of the room as he yelled.
"You better not forget Scorpion!"
Danny eyed the arachnid-themed, green-costumed man. He rolled his eyes, wondering who else might show up.
"Sheesh, is this a museum guest or a convention?" Danny wondered out loud.
Scorpion eyed the ghost boy before glancing at the others. He looked to the hole in a wall to see Spy-D fighting off the hive trio and then to Spider-Man, who was annoying Ember with quips and webbing as Sandgirl started to break out of her icy prison. Even worse, the Hive trio was getting back up, putting the numbers against them more.
"Great," Danny groaned, hitting his head. "Can the universe just give us a hand and send help!"
"Smokebomb!"
In a puff of red smoke, Danny saw the familiar form of the Ninja of Norrisville with a tall red dragon with a yellow underbelly and spiky, black hair with green ends. Danny shared a confused stare with Scorpion. The two were not expecting this, as did the others.
"Yo, Phantom, mind if we lend a hand?" the dragon asked, coughing from their smoky entrance. Those smoke mobs smelled like farts.
"Cause the Ninja and Am Drag got yo back!" Ninja exclaimed with an overtone of heroicness. He was already used to his tools.
Danny didn't question the sudden appearance of the two. He greatly appreciated the help that the universe sent. It was just too bad the fight was far from over.
"So...is this how things are gonna be?" Scorpion asked. He took one of his claw hands to scratch his head in confusion.
"Dude, let's just go with it," Danny groaned.
Ember snarled at Gizmo while she got up, "watch where you're aiming those things runt."
"Who are you calling runt!?"
Before Ember and Gizmo could attack each other, Jinx and Sand Girl got between them. "Focus on the objective," Jinx ordered. "we're not getting on his bad side because of you two."
The villains nodded as they proceeded to get serious.
"Ninja sword strike!" the Ninja said, leaping between them swinging at Ember while Spy-D threw a punch at Jinx and Gizmo.
Ember and the ninja were clashing with their sword and guitar, respectively trying to push the other away "so mind filling in the tourist about who HE is" Randy asked.
"Sorry, kid, but you need the backstage pass to see him," Ember said, kicking Randy away with her boot firing a sonic wave.
Randy leaped out of the way only to get hit by a wave of sand, pinning him up against a wall. The sand hardened, trapping him in place.
Ember laughed. "Wow you'd think ninjas would be tougher to beat," she mocked, aiming her guitar at him. Her fiery hair began to build up. "Barbecued ninja coming right up."
"Yeah not going to happen," the Am Drag said, whipping Ember with his tail. Mammoth charged at him, but he was caught by the same tail, stopping him in his tracks and thrown at Scorpion.
Scorpion leaped to the side, letting Mammoth fly past, aiming his tail. He shot acid at the dragon.
"Ninja tengu fireball!" the Ninja called out, blasting the acid away with a fire followed up by Spy-D punching him in the face sending him flying in front of Jinx.
"I don't think the big man was prepared for this many heroes," Scorpion said.
"It doesn't matter if the League and Avengers show up He won't take any excuses," Jinx said.
Scorpion nodded as he ran toward Danny. He raised his tail and slammed it into the ghost boy. Only it went right through him and got stuck in the ground. In response, the ghost boy charged a ball of ecto-energy, but Spy-D beat him to the punch and landed on the man's head. Danny followed with an ecto-charged fist to the villain's gut before firing an ectobeam, sending the man flying.
Taking the que the fight was back on, the Am Drag took to the air as Gizmo activated his console's jet pack and fired rockets. The dragon breathed fire, forcing the boy to duck down.
Sandgirl escaped from the ice and glared an arsenal at Danny. Her cold stare was enough to make the ghost boy give a nervous smile, even though she didn't have much in the way of hurting him. Still, it was plenty scary.
"Sheesh, when we heard the fireworks here, we didn't expect to find such a party!" Am Drag shouted, chasing Gizmo. The tiny boy summoned his blaster to appear and fire behind him. But while he checked his rear, his front was blocked by Spider-Mn, who delivered a kick to his head.
"Tell me about it," Spider-Man said. "New York really is the city that never sleeps!"
"And that I love this place!"
"Ditto!"
The two fist-bumped as the Am Drag flew to Jinx as Spidey went against Sandgirl.
Sandgirl tried to hit the web-slinger with a giant fist made out of sand Spiderman the blow and the Ninja blocked another blow from Jinx, who wanted to hit him from behind.
Jinx and the Ninja were flipping around, trying to land a blow on the other. Jinx aimed for the ground and tripped the boy. Danny flew over and helped him up as he and the Am Drag went against Mammoth and Scorpion.
Spiderman tried to make a new web line to web up Sandgirl, but nothing happened.
"Seriously!? Now of all times to run out of webbing," Spider-Man groaned as he went for another cartridge of web fluid. But his spider-sense tingled, alerting him to the shockwave Ember sent his wave. He flipped onto a wall as he eyed the ghost diva. He tried again to reload, only to be attacked in his moment of vulnerability. While the webbing was great, the time to change the cartridges was hefty.
With no way to recharge, Spidey ran across the ground towards Ember for now. It was time to try a new gadget, one he had been saving for just such an occasion. Dodging the soundwaves, Spider-Man ran and swung his fist at the ghost rocker.
"Oh, please. You think th—"
Ember didn't say all her words as a fist collided with her face. She was knocked back a few feet as the ground greeted her with a thud. The diva glared with her ruined mascara as Spider-Man dusted off his knuckles.
"Yoiu like 'em?" Spider-Man asked. He jabbed the air a few times. "I've been thinking about some extra tech just in case. While I don't believe in magic, you always gotta have science on your side."
Ember growled as she stormed forward. Her guitar was used as a jet board as she went up to bombard from above. As per standard ghost physics, Gizmo flew right through her, but the girl was surprised when the Am Drag rammed her into a wall. She didn't know about the magical properties of dragons scales. Spider-man didn't either, but he pushed questions aside as he went to help Spy-D with Sandgirl.
Danny, who had seen the whole thing, fired an ectoblast at Gizmo with looking as Mammoth rammed through him, literally.
"You managed to make ghost gaunlets like that?" Danny asked, impressed. The ghost boy's parents came to mind, how their inventions took time, but he only knew Spider-Man for months as the boy had recreated prototype versions of Fenton tech. There had only been a few people able to replicate or even understand it, like Felicia.
"The research already existed. I just had to integrate it with my costume. Granted I had to add a little Spider-Man flair."
Spider-Man's words were lost on the ghost boy, whose head flew up as he recalled Felicia.
For a moment, her sultry eyes invaded the ghost boy's mind. He could feel her nearby, but his head snapped back to reality. He wasn't on a date but stopping a museum heist. And doing a horrible job right now as he remembered Black Cat. And that meant she was stealing whatever had caught her interest.
"Crud! I forgot about Black Cat!" Danny said as he eyed the direction she went in. With some luck, he could stop her and maybe bring her in. But there was a problem as the ghost boy looked at the heroes. While he didn't want Black Cat to get away, he had to push personal business aside to help his friends. Even with the added help of the Am Drag and Ninja, things were getting out of control. Luckily, he got a call from someone about to join the party.
And that was the last push needed to help his friends.
Black Cat had just taken her prize. Placing the item into a secure containment case, the girl raced to the exit. She wanted to say bye to Danny.
But a figure had flown in from above. Black Cat was surprised to see Supergirl, who cracked her knuckles with a sly grin. The thief tried to run, but she wasn't fast enough as the girl of steel pinned her against the wall.
"Hey there, kitty cat. Remember me?" Supergirl teased.
Black Cat didn't struggle against her grip but gave a coy smile. While it gave the girl of steel shivers, the two began a small staring contest. The cat would have used her jinxing eyes, but a feeling in her heart said it was better to wait.
If he orchestrated the team, chances are he brought in a heavy hitter.
"Why Supergirl, if you missed me that badly, all you had to do was call," Black cat teased.
"And this time I won't miss you. Especially since I'll be your escort to your own personal jail cell."
Supergirl gave a triumphant smirk. She had Black Cat pinned down red-handed, and nothing would get in the way this time.
Not that Black Cat would go down without a fight. Of course, the thief had to get out of her Kryptonian prison warden. And then, she recalled their last battle in Metropolis.
"So, you and Danny...how close are you?" Black Cat's teased. She gave a calm face as her captor went red.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Supergirl remained calm despite her blush.
"Oh please. I know you two have met before. It's obvious from how you two...talk."
"Ok, you are now—"
"Did you kiss him?"
"Yes." Supergirl gave a soft smile. She figured it was better to be honest that let the cat have fun at her expense.
And it was working as that got Black Cat off guard. She figured the girl of steel would be as innocent as a bag of puppies. But the girls stuttering spoke differently.
And it sent a sting into the kitten's heart. So the thief decided to play with the ball of yarn in front of her.
"Ever kissed a girl?" Black Cat winked.
"W-what!?" While Supergirl blushed, she shook it off, not trying to think how the thief's coy face and tone were insinuating things. She wasn't going to be distressed by the thief this time.
"Ok, not answering, and I'm taking you to jail now." Supergirl lifted Black Cat, but not before grabbing a piece of glass off the ground and holding it to the cat's eyes. Its reflective surface kept her powers in check.
Black Cat struggled, trying to break free. Even though she knew her combined strength couldn't hold a candle to the Krpytonian's, the girl did not want to go to jail. The consequences alone had become enough reason why not to.
Silently, the thief wondered where her help was. She had waited too long as now in a position where her powers couldn't help.
And it came in the form of a woman in a ten-foot-tall, red battle suit. Galina Nemirovsky, better known as the Crimson Dynamo, was now grabbing Supergirl and throwing her across the room. The walls crashed apart as the girl of steel rebalanced herself.
"Ok, now I starting to get mad." Supergirl said as her eyes began to shine bright red.
Meanwhile, Gizmo and Mammoth had cornered Spy-D, with the former using sharp robotic legs and lasers to keep him from moving as the big guy closed in. Jinx had pinned Danny, having used enough powers to even the playing field. While she was nowhere near as strong as the ghost boy, the girl couldn't help wanting a closer look.
"I must say, Phantom, you can put up a fight," Jinx said in a sultry tone. She sent a blast of her powers to the ghost boy's side.
"Funny, I was gonna say the same to you," Danny grunted. He placed one hand on the pain before phasing through the ground.
Jinx stood up with a Cheshire smile as she looked around. She didn't act, being patient. The girl was enjoying the fight, a little more than expected.
"Come out, come out, where ever you are," Jinx sing-songed. The girl listened carefully, keeping her focus on her back.
But Danny was bright as he was invisible, flying closer to the villainess in training.
It was there, Supergirl and Crimson Dynamo crashed between Danny, Spy-D, and the Hive Trio.
Mammoth and Gizmo went slack jaw, wondering what it was they were getting themselves into. Jinx gave a small smile in contrast to her teammates.
"Uh...who's the new guy?" Danny asked, now turning visible from lost concentration.
Spy-D, who was constructed by Mammoth's arms, noticed the boys had now stopped. He webbed Gizmo's face, making the boy fire lasers at the big guy. The Spider-Man rolled away before webbing the dwarf boy into a wall.
Mammoth growled but was vault kicked in the face before he could do anything. Spy-D had launched the man into his friends and delivered them to the lobby using webbing for extra power.
The heroes thought they could finally take a quick breather, but even that was short-lived, as Ember Mclain and Sandgirl came back for round two. The girls pushed everyone back as the main lobby filled the two groups.
Black Cat gripped her case before placing it inside her coat. She surveyed the two sides. This was getting crazier by the moment. A simple theft was becoming more of an epic battle right out of a movie.
As if to detail the spiraling scenario, Supergirl came crashing through the walls with the Crimson Dynamo blasting back. The red armor was colossal, but it evened the fighting grounds.
"I warn you now! Stay back!" Galina commanded, holding out a palm. Inside was a canon charged with energy. "You do not know what you are up against."
Supergirl took a stance; she cracked her neck and knuckles before walking over.
"Yeah...for you," Supergirl quipped.
The others showed up, crashing through the walls as the lobby was filled with costumed individuals split into two groups.
It was becoming a battle royals the likes of which most had seen before.
"Oh great. More trouble," Danny snarked as he and the others got ready. "What's next? More ninjas?"
From a skylight above, a silhouette formed to announce the silent arrival of another man.
From above, everyone saw a ninja in samurai-like armor watching. The man was silent on top, but his eyes told of his stern and cold demeanor. Surrounding him were many ninjas clad in the traditional garbs seen in most movies.
"I had to ask," Danny groaned.
"Wow," Black Cat whistled. "He wasn't kidding when he called for a team.
"Pssst, ninj, did you know there were ninjas in New York ?" The Am Drag whispered.
"Dude, I didn't even know about dragons and magic in New York till when I got here." The Ninja was just as surprised.
The heroes and villains stared down as the sound of sirens started to fill the air. What looked like another regular night quickly went downhill.
"Things just got real," Danny said with a sense of dread.
"I'll say," Spider-Man said in agreement.
This took soooo much longer than I thought. What was supposed to be a first part dragged out, pretty well I might add, and now we have the main battle coming up. I'm gonna try to finish this battle before New Year, so expect a nice Christmas from me. Though I feel the next chapter will be even longer. Not that I'm complaining.
Tell them.
Deadpool! How are ya!? Merry Christmas!
Tell them.
Tell them what?
Everyone's wondering about Black Cat's little moment with Supergirl. Tell them.
I'm not really a fan of giving details away.
Is it majorly important? Tell them! It's annoying to not tell them.
...Fine. For those wondering for a while, Black Cat is bi, in accordance with her sexuality in the comics. PLEASE NOTE! This does not mean she'll be going for other ladies. I know some reviews were asking, but yeah...she's bi. Happy now, Deadpool?
...Can we get some food? I'm starving.
Yeah, I could go for a bite to eat too. Let's get some Mexican food. Just let me finish up here.
Alright!
So yeah, enjoy the chapter, expect the next one soon. Have a nice day and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Maybe we could say Merry Chris-Hanukkah-mas and Happy Rama-Kwanza-dan! I mean there's more than one holiday.
Is that politically correct?
Do you have a grasp on whether or not it is?
...Anyway...

Artorias(Guest): ¡Gracias! Ahora, para sus preguntas: 1. No está desgarrado, pero tampoco flácido. Ahora mismo, Danny está en el medio. 2. 5. Honestamente, todavía estoy pensando en eso. 6. Todavía estoy trabajando en eso. Tengo un montón de ideas para Venom.
Jebest4781: Thanks!
Invader Johnny: No, but now there is.
qazse: Sam is changing, one word at a time.
RonaldM40196867: Vegan pizza is alright. The cheese wi a bit weird though. Jake and Danny will not fight. I'm still deciding what to do with Danny and Venom. Given that Danny finds out...I'm leaning towards yes. But that's much much, much later.
pokemon fan 1991: Thanks!
Luiz4200: I love that line! I'm DEFINITELY gonna use that in the next chapter! If you don't mind.
DJ Rodriguez: Thanks!
NiteOwl18: Thanks!
ZoomedIn: Still working on something for Sam. Thanks! Sheldon couldn't make it to New York, much to his dismay.
William Escobar 608: 1) ... Mmm Hmmm ... 2) ¿Eh? 3) Creo que te estás perdiendo el resto de esta declaración.
Khy Dragon(Guest): ?
Jay The Average Fanboy: 1: Not really. That's a problem I'll need to rectify. Sadly, Jazz isn't in New York, so it'll be after Spring Break. 2: He has mentioned it a few times. 3: No.
Mizugami18: Glad you like.
