'whats with the dress, anchor?,' shanks greeted.
luffy ran and hugged his waist, 'ace got it for me for my birthday!'
'huh? its your birthday and no one told me? boo!,' shanks whined.
luffy laughed, 'i didnt know either but its so pretty!'
'it really is, dont get it dirty now. im sure its a trip and a half to clean a dress like that.'
luffy nodded, 'i wont, ace got mad when i tried to wear it hunting.'
'are you sure its the right size?,' benn eyed the skirt, he knew kids were small but he was unsure that the girl would fit in such small clothing.
shanks waved him off, 'it looks just about the same as the dress she had. it should be fine.'
'luffy is a size smaller. but for the sake of growing, that'd be the right size,' ace came up behind the man, arms crossed and a scowl present.
shanks whipped around wide eyed, 'where the hell you come from?!'
ace gave a deadpan look and turned back to the display.
'a red haired pirate isn't so hard to find in this noble town.'
'even easier when you know the chattiest nobles.'
shanks turned to the blonde boy on his left. where were these kids coming from.
benn coughed to hold in his laugh. his captain was quite amusing when thrown off his feet. especially by a pair of children.
shanks wilted when his first mate offered no help. he hoped anchor liked the clothes they had picked out.
otherwise the staring contest he was having with the brothers would not have been worth it.
how was he supposed to know that red was her favorite color. luffy had practically never worn the color, she was always dressed in blue and white.
it was going to be a long day and the harsh rays that singed his hair was the least of his issues.
