Hey everyone. Sorry for the delay of this chapter. Lots of things are going on and I had to edit this out, and try to make corrections on Chapter 2 and 3 slowly. It is long and tedious, but I prefer to make this work.
I will also add my edit notes on what changes I made and also what was supposed to be on this chapter and such. Now without further ado, let's get this chapter started.

Chapter 29: A Date Night with Freya (Lemons)
Bell, Welf and Lilli were walking around the 13th floor. So far, they seem to be at the advantage where the monsters are being taken out easily. Welf showed his Greatsword skills by taking out a few Hard Armored, while Bell helped out take out the few scattered ones in the way. Lilli picked off the few, without her backpack, jumping from one shadow to another.
They complimented each other, which surprised Welf. Normally, a group of random people, who just met for a short time would have trouble with it. But it seems they are in-sync on their movements.
The battle ended. Both Bell and Welf nodded to each other, before Lilli got behind her lover and grabbed him from his neck.
"Gotcha!"
"Hehe….you're getting better at it." He then placed her down.
She nodded "Yep, just imagine the chaos Lilli can bring out."
"I have to admit, for being a Supporter, you do seem to be pretty crafty in the shadows." Welf said.
"Well, Lilli's size and also affinity with the knives and daggers helps me out. Plus one of Lilli's skills is what helps me out."
"Huh….I still have a few tricks I haven't shown off yet." He smirked.
Bell nodded. He loved this dynamic. He just needed Mikoto and Haruhime and they are the old team again. He wishes they can have them again, and get into crazy adventurers together again. Oh the desire of the hero to dig deep into the dungeons and take out tough monsters, laugh about it, and save other adventurers.
"Ummm….Master Bell. Your hand is glowing."
He looked down and smiled "Ah, my skill. I just have to shoot it off elsewhere. For now though, let's finish here and then head out."
They both nodded and they kept walking a bit more. Then four white rabbits with red eyes appeared.
"Hey Bell, your brothers are here!" Welf pointed out.
Bell's right eye twitched.
"You're right, or maybe one of them is the cousin." Lilli added.
Bell went to the nearest corner and had a little cloud on top of his head "You guys are mean…."
Then those four rabbits took out axes and went after them. Bell and his companions fought them off as more of them appeared.
As they took out the last one, they heard a yell.
"Run for it!"
They turned to the side and noticed two adventurers, running away from what looks like a dragon. Bell knew what he had to do at this point.
He went right at the dragon as he heard a yell "Are you out of your mind?!"
"Master Bell!"
Bell outstretched his arm and opened his hand. "Firebolt!"
He released an overpowered Firebolt attack, obliterating not only the dragon, but also a few monsters not far off. Bell blinked in disbelief "It's stronger than the last one…."
Lilli had a smug look on her face "That's my Bell!"
Welf blinked in surprise "Wow….."
The adventurers realized who he was. "That was the Record Holder…"
"He was cool."
"Amazing."
Bell chuckled. It's just like his old timeline….nothing changes on that end.
Three hours later….
Bell and his companions arrived at the surface. The white haired teen then remembered something "Welf, can you do me a favor?"
"Yeah, sure."
He took out the drop item he obtained from defeating the minotaur. "Could you make a knife out of this? It was the drop item from my fight against the minotaur."
He looked at the shape and size of it. "Yeah, it shouldn't be much of a problem."
Bell smiled. Just as they walked a bit more, he felt a gaze. He tried to figure out who it was. He sensed the purpose of the gaze. It was curiosity and a glare.
"Welf, I will meet you at your place a bit later, just have something to take care of right now."
The blacksmith nodded "Sure. Take care."
He left. Lilli looked at Bell and said "What's wrong, Master Bell?"
"Lilli, stay in the shadows and don't interfere. Trust me."
She nodded and she went away. He then began walking toward a different direction. He kept walking as it became less and less populated. He looked around and thought "Perfect"
He stopped at an open area with nobody being around. "Alright, Allen! Come out now!"
This caused the cat man to stumble a bit "What?!"
"I know you have been glaring at me for a while and have been following me! Come out! No more hiding!" He shouted.
Then Allen came down one of the rooftops as did another person. A dark elf landed with a bit of flare on him.
"You got a lot of nerve, kid! How the hell did you know I was around?!" Allen wasn't happy being found out that way.
"You tend to glare at me pretty hard and stare at me too long. Let's just say it is an innate skill I had for as long as I can remember."
The dark elf then replied "Interesting. I must admit, you are a surprising person."
Bell nodded "And who are you, sir?"
He then moved his cape a bit "I am the harbinger of death….." he then changed his pose, moving himself to the ground on one knee "I am the king of the dark elves…." He then got up, made a hop and spin. "I am known as the Dainsleif of Lady Freya…" Then poses with have a 'V' sign "I am Hogni"
If Bell was younger, he would have been amazed by it. Now though…."I feel cringy….why do I feel cringy…."
He decided to smile "Nice entrance. Nice to meet you, sir" He bowed respectfully with his place at his heart. Hogni was surprised by the protocol of elves. It felt somewhat refreshing seeing this. He gestured the bow in return "Honor as well."
Allen shook his head "Alright, enough of this. Tell me, why are you calling me out?"
He knew what he had to do. "I am here for a fair duel."
"A duel?"
"Yes. However, I do require you to lower your level to my own level. It wouldn't be that fair, now would it? And of course the rules are simple: If you knock me out or I give up, I lose, but if I endure three minutes on this fight, then I win"
"What's at stake?" Now he was curious about this.
"If I survive through 3 minutes I not only go out on a date with Lady Freya, but I also would like to get your blessing to go out with your sister."
Allen tightened his fist.
"If I lose….I will keep my distance from your sister and I will leave Lady Freya alone." Bell was calm about this "Do we have a deal?"
Lilli was in disbelief as she heard. "Is he trying to get himself back to the hospital bed?!"
Allen thought of this as a win-win for him. All he had to do was lower the rabbit's level 2, right? "Deal."
Hogni was surprised he took that deal, as he had this feeling about this white haired teen. Something about him felt off. He can't place his finger on it.
"Sir Hogni" his thoughts were interrupted as he saw Bell take something out "Could you time us for 3 minutes?"
He tossed his pocket watch and he caught it. He saw the watch and found the button for it.
Bell got into a fighting position with Hestia's Knife, while Allen got his spear ready. Both were ready to duel.
"Fight!"
Bell rushed right at Allen and went for a downward slash. Allen blocked it easily and went for a twirl on a swing, but Bell ducked down. He went for an uppercut.
The cat man avoided it and moved back. He noticed he went aggressively right at him, with a thrust attack. "Kid, just because I leveled down on your level, doesn't me shit to me. You have to have skills."
He demonstrated his skill, by disarming Bell. He smirked, for a moment, until he was caught off guard by him being disarmed. Although Allen snatched his knife, Bell snatched his spear and he twirled it a bit and got into a fighting position. Allen did as well.
"How about we trade our weapons? The knife is useless to you as it is meant only for my familia to work."
This surprised him hearing this and he nodded.
Hogni watched in surprise how this child was able to disarm Allen. He is a skilled fighter, but it seems this Bell child has his own skills as well.
"Is this why my Lady Freya is interested in him?"
Both got their weapons as Allen rushed at him with a thrust. Bell was able to use his momentum to move the attack upwards and went for a kick. It did back Allen off, but he twirled it and it hit the back of Bell's head. Bell rolled to the side and got into a fighting position. Both circled each other.
"Allen, you have a minute and a half to knock him out!"
Allen decided to be more aggressive and went for various precision thrusts right at him. Bell saw this a mile away.
Being trained by Allen for years during, after, and beyond the Black Dragon incident. He learned all of his moves and techniques. He found his strengths and weaknesses in dealing with his spear attacks. It surprised him how well versed he was in close range and long range fighting, which made sense why he is at the spot for nothing.
Allen was getting slightly frustrated as his thrusts attack weren't working. He either blocks the attack or avoids it. "I don't understand?! He knows my moves better than anyone! I have enough of this!"
He backed up and placed his spear back.
Bell knew what was coming and muttered "Beleg Edair, Berio gwenyr nîn" as the spear glowed, he went for the thrust attack "Aegis than!"
This caused Hogni to nearly drop the watch. He was in shock to see a shield he hasn't seen in a long time. Allen was surprised about the shield at how it was holding on one of his specialty attacks. He pushes more and nearly increases to Level 3, and yet it is holding.
For Bell, it was taking a good amount of his own mind to hold on to it.
"Damn you rabbit!" He pushed more but Bell refused to give up. He is holding on to it. Allen then pushed it to Level Three. Bell felt it get stronger, but he refused to budge. It was getting more difficult to hold on to it.
Hogni focused back on the watch.
"This is getting close."
Then both backed off and Bell took his shield down. He began to breathe heavily and noticed Allen went right at him. He just dodged and jumped around, but it was getting harder as Allen went up a level.
Allen was losing his cool on this fight and was trying to end it. Yet he is starting to see why his lady is admiring him. He is hanging on and seems to hold his own well. He still needed to knock him out or at least put him down.
Bell then winced as he felt the side of the spear slicing the side of his arm. Then another one. He rolled a bit and just saw the spear was going to thrust on him.
"Time!"
It stopped really close to hitting his chest. Allen was in disbelief. He lost. He trembled in frustration at the loss. He should have put him away, but he couldn't.
Bell noticed his expression and said "I actually would have lost…..I still have a long way to go."
Allen looked at Bell and then grabbed him from the shirt. "If you hurt my sister or my goddess, I will find you and stick this spear up your ass and turn you into a shishkabob. Got it?!"
Bell nodded "Got it."
He let him go and he walked away. Hogni approached the white haired teen and asked "Where did you learn that shield?"

When I used to be a king, an outside enemy began to burn the forests down and tried to enslave my people. Out came this elf and helped us out. I am forever indebted to him." He looked at him strangely. "Are you that promised one, he foretold?"
He looked confused hearing this.
"Although I wonder why a human form though? Maybe to change things for the better?" he got more thoughtful "Maybe to unite people?"
He walked around him and judged his appearance "I would say that I will respect you for being with my goddess. I am very loyal to her and am forever indebted from getting me out of my old duties. As for you….I will keep an eye on you to see what else you can surprise me."
"Oh, could you do me a favor?"
He raised his eyebrow and he was given a paper.
"Give this to Lady Freya, she would know what to do."
He puts the paper on his pocket, and then threw a smoke bomb. He was gone. Bell stood there and pondered if this was a good thing or not. At least he won't advise him on dating.
"You did pretty well, Master Bell." She appeared out of the shadows and went to take care of his wounds.
"He isn't an easy opponent to deal with." He looked at the tower and smiled "See you later tonight, Freya."

He stopped the hammer for a moment "You know about my family."
"I know of Crozzo, who helped out Argonaut, but after him….they weren't like Crozzo. You, though, are more like him."
He felt confused hearing this, but continued working on it.
"I know about what your family has done, but they have dishonored themselves by creating weapons to destroy things. You though, you are helping me out, along with Lilli, to be able to survive on the Dungeon."
He smirked. "You are the first for refusing using magical weapons."
"Well….they don't technically make you stronger. I believe it is the person is what makes them who they are."
He liked hearing that, something refreshing.
"I will say that, when the time comes….I would need your assistance with something. Even if it goes against your beliefs."
He stopped for a second and kept going "And that is?"
"A Battle Armor of sorts."
"Battle Armor?"
"I will wait until you improve your smithing abilities and I could show you what it is."
Welf looked at him and said "You have this much faith in me, doing it?"
"I would say, it would be a way to help you with getting close to Lady Hephaestus."
He looked away immediately. "I….I don't know what you are talking about."
"Welf…every blacksmith that I heard would want to get close to her. However, they fear her for some reason. I think she is an attractive woman with a kind personality. I would suggest you level up fast. Someone might get lucky with her, with an item someone would make and impress her." He got close to Welf and said "Even using magic…."
He worked faster on the knife. He then said "When will we be heading to the Middle floors?"
"In a few days."
He looked at him and said "Get me there…."
"I will. But you might also have to deal with one more obstacle."
"You seem to know her well enough.
He smiled "Hestia is good friends with her. She would talk about her….a lot. She is pretty lonely up there and needs someone that can make her a beautiful piece of item that would claim that smith as hers."

"I have faith in you, Welf. Just do your best and pace yourself."

He watched on as he stoked the fires more.
Few hours later, Hestia's Church….
Bell, Lilli, Hoshana, and Hestia were in the attic with a new map.
"So, in two days, we hit this place. Hoshana, I need you to move some of your men right here" he pointed at a small street "In order for Lilli to sneak in immediately."
Hoshana sighed "I can't believe I am helping a thief out, that pays me well."
"Yes, and this thief might be able to find enough to put Royman out of his position and a number of Evilus members in hiding."
"Fair point!"
He shook his head "So, from what I gathered, they will be a tad bit distracted as they bring some of the women from the Entertainment District. I need you Lilli to head to this particular room" He pointed at the blueprint that read '2nd floor, Master Bedroom' "I noticed he was placing contents behind the painting."
"Lilli will see if he is hiding something."
"Excellent. So that's the plan. Dismissed."
Hoshanah nodded and pondered on how to go on about the route issue.
Hestia went over to Bell and said "Welp. Time for your date."
He nodded and went to change "I might be back the next morning."
She smiled "Do try not to overwork yourself. You have to meet with Demeter tomorrow about the alliance."
He nodded "I won't, love." As he was changing, he saw Hestia smirking.

"So much changed in such a short time…."
"Do you regret it?" He looked at her.

He looked at the bottle of wine and smiled. He then saw the pot boiling and he turned it off. He then poured the contents on the bottle and then chilled it on ice.
"Gods and goddesses. For all of their love for drinking, it is easy to manipulate them with a simple drink." He went to get his drink and smiled "Demeter, Demeter….a little drink and I might be able to persuade in my plans. If not, then maybe watching two of your own familia members die might change your mind…."
He chuckled darkly. He stared at the bottle once more.
He frowned "As for you Bell….I will make you pay for bismurching me….one day…."
He would meet Demeter tomorrow and give her some of the wine he made. He knew one sip of it, he would be able to control her for a short time, but the suggestions would force her to do whatever he pleases.
Might be useful to have her keep some of the men in line, given the time.
He then left his room and noticed Filvis was still awake.
"Can't sleep?"
"No….too many thoughts and also Revis is getting restless."
"Oh? About the Loki familia?"
"Yes. From what I got from the connection, they just barely made it on the 37th floor and are getting close."
"Interesting…." He looked thoughtful "Let her know that the Spirit will take care of them. Do try to make sure the Spirit still keeps Ais alive, Revis does want her for her 'Aria' obsession."
She nodded, "I will let her know, my Lord."
He smiled "Good. Now, let us rest. Tomorrow, we have a meeting with a goddess."
He went to his room to rest, while Filvis stared at the hallway. She pondered what else she could do at this point.

A/N: Boy where do I begin.
I deleted a scene on how the Loki familia are doing, so made it more of Filvis giving the message. I removed a scene or two that will be saved, two chapters from now. I shortened the Welf and Bell scene, giving Welf that motivation he needed. Another scene I moved was with Naaza for the next chapter, for a good reason. You will see.
In the LN, Dionysus was the one that threatened Demeter to be Enyo after killing two of her familia members. I do wonder how she managed to stay normal though, and I theorized that maybe he had a unique way of controlling her. Once Demeter managed to break it, she basically didn't wanted to do this anymore and basically just killed them.
So I am going to assume he used a unique wine to do it that he made, to give her some temporary mind control of sorts. I will go with that.
