Warm.
It was so warm.
The sun was flushing his skin with it's overwhelming warmth as he felt the layers of sweat, grime and sand all over.
It was beating down on him.
A disgusting scent of previously lit cigars and vomit laid behind him.
His feet and the bottom of his pants were wet with salty water layered on them. Even his shoes and socks were fully soaked through.
But even with that it was still so warm.
His legs ached and the rest of his body seemed to be begging for some kind of cool force.
But he wasn't.
He wanted to stay there.
His shoes were still getting soaked with the water as it moved.
It brought so much relief as the bit of cool, dirty water hit his soaked shoes.
He wanted to stay there and wait for the waves to take him.
He didn't want to get up.
Why would he want to get up?
Maybe someone else would take his place.
Now nobody would have to strain themselves to deal with him.
Someone who didn't even know when to shut up.
Izuku slightly bent his knees, using them to pull him slightly closer to the water.
He wanted to be weightless.
He wanted to simply a piece of debris in the sky.
Able to watch a world where everything was the same-
Except no one knew or remembered who he was.
He could have other pieces of debris as friends, willing to listen and willing to let him lean on them.
Maybe he could draw In the sky.
He could always watch the fading colors of the sunset as it went down in a beautiful glory.
He wondered if maybe he could also be like that one day.
Go out in an arrangement of colors and pigment as his eyes closed welcoming him into a warm and friendly world.
One where he would never be alone.
He inched himself closer to the water, already basically drenched in the cool liquid. It deeply contrasted with the burning warmth of the sun that he very much needed.
He pulled himself closer with shaking legs, his feet burning more with each time he dragged his own worn remains towards the water.
And soon his back was in the water.
Following by the back of his head.
It felt beautiful and then he slowly stretched his eyes open.
And then he saw all the stars as they started to fade as the light shine of the morning sun began to push it aside.
He looked up at all the stars.
Stars were amazing weren't they? Millions of galaxy's all tangled in one glowing night sky.
All there.
All there and no one could own it. Sure they all had names and you could take foot on one or two but..
No one could have it all it was something unachievable, something that even if you were born perfect, worked perfect, and checked every box in your entire life you could never have it all.
He didn't know why but this brought him comfort.
He knew he couldn't be a hero.
He knew that he might never even see his mother's face or his friends smile ever agian.
Mabye if he died there then he might see them one last time.
Maybe he could see Kacchan and talk to him and Izuku could show him his sketch book or what he had been working on.
Maybe he could go to school and maybe..
All might would show up and take back what he said.
Maybe All might would help train him.
Maybe he would get too see his mother smile and cry at his graduation, talking about how proud she was.
Kacchan would yell about the food there but when izuku wasn't looking he would eat it anyway.
Then maybe Kacchan and him could study together and he could introduce him to Omawazu and they would get along amazing!
But they wouldn't forget about him.
They would smile and laugh in highschool as they looked back and thought about how silly they were and other fun moments.
Or maybe when Kacchan got to U.A he would come back and ask if he wanted to hang out and study...
Izuku then relized how far out he was. He looked back and saw the beach, full of trash.
Then he started feeling water pushing him down below the surface.
and he thought that maybe, just maybe, if he didn't move he would wake up and everything would be true.
And he wouldn't be alone. He wouldn't be here.
Mirio was a bit excited to say the least.
One of his personal favorite heros was gonna train him so can you blame him for being a little exited?
But he seemed to have gotten there about 10 minutes earlier, mainly because he wanted to go on a jog beforehand!
But when he got to the meeting spot he noticed somthing in the water.
Wait a minute Was that...Huh..?
He walked down the staircase that was at the beach and squinted to look into the water.
Oh my god.
Mirio ran.
And then he was swimming
And then he was dragging what looked to be a middle schooler to the shore.
He flipped the kid on his back and started performing a medical procedure to get the kid back on his feet.
With a million questions in his head he managed to get the kid to wake up.
"Hey! I thought I lost you there kid!" He quickly put his hero persona on hoping to mask some of his panic from seeing what looked to be a literal child drowning..
willingly..?
"Huh? Oh my god what am I doing here?" The green eyed child asked in a tone similar to panic.
" I don't know kid I just saw you in the water and pulled you out!" Mirio stated energetically.
The kid looked around before mumbling out a quick "oh...well thank you.." then getting up.
"Oh yeah sure.." Mirio didn't know what to say but he didn't care to much, the kid seemed fine, maybe an accident involving a teleportation quirk he probably isn't far from his home.
Besides the number one hero was coming here to start preparing him to be the next number one hero he couldn't waste a spare moment.
And the kid seemed happy.. enough.
Yamada worked hard for this!
He had started by making a burner account to follow ever single person following .who.-.png. Which by the way is almost 3,000!
Well like 2,798 to be exact but it's pretty close!
So then he messaged each one, a short memo about how they should respond because it was about the account they were following.
Then he just had to wait and hope he made it clear it wasn't just spam.
And about 13 hours later about half of the people he sent the message out to had responded and were actually concerned and invested!
So then he told each and everyone of them to call in a complaint about how the account was banned and request it's return. And soon, he was getting results...good results.
The next day he opened the account to see that the account was pending. But then one day he opened it to see the account was back up and with more popularity than before because the account's followers apparently really wanted the account back and reached out to other people about it.
Leading the total amount of followers to be almost 4,700!
And the account only had 43 posts.
He had won!
And finally, finally, he could send that email!
Izuku had been walking step after step broken phone in his hand.
Look at him the quirkless deku couldn't even save his stupid phone.
Why did he ever think he could save anyone.
Heck Isn't he a criminal now?
A trail of dirty water trailed behind him masking the disgusting scent of dirt and sweat. His red shoes tearing at the edges because of how much he had used them.
Izuku kept walking until his mother and his apartment was visible in the distance.
He stopped in his tracks reverting to his cowardly mindset, what if his mother saw him like this?
He couldn't do that to her he just couldn't!
So he simply ran towards the back of the building. Limping and straining his weight to get there. But once he was ,he stopped and faced the wall he would climb up until he reached what was left of the fire escape.
It was an old building and nobody had gotten up to renovating it, plus nobody came back here anymore, so nobody noticed his broken screen he left back here.
He asumed that he did it out of fear when he was little, Maybe the bullying had gotten pretty bad, maybe so he could escape fast? or Maybe when he had to get medical things to deal with what was left after the bullying.
But he doesn't remember exactly which reason.
(It was kinda stupid though he's surprised he isn't kidnapped yet!)
So he scratched his worn and blistered finger tips onto the wall to find somewhere to start climbing, shoving his hand into the small crack he pulled himself up and repeated with another particularly large crack. Then putting his foot in the old crack and pushing his weight up with his other foot against the wall.
Soon he reached the rusted metal that was the remains of the fire escape, pulling himself up and on the platform. It creaked with his weight but he ignored it and pried his window open with a small piece of scrap medal, crawling inside.
He closed the window behind him and put his broken phone on his nightstand and passed out on the floor causing a loud thud.
He drifted away without a single thought.
Inko was was enjoying herself.
She was on cloud nine more exact!
She sat across from a well mannered man who had the most beautiful brown eyes!
(she could stare into them for days.)
He was her coworker and he had asked her on this date.
Little did he know Inko had a huge thing for him, sometimes she stayed up thinking about him.
Besides izuku had been really quiet lately...
He never came out of his room when she was around but she just thought he had somthing really important he had to do. Mabye he had been out and about when she wasn't there.
She had left him money on the counter but he hadn't taken it yet. Maybe he was just out with his friends, they were really nice kids and she was glad izuku had them!
And her izuku clearly really cared about them. And she really cares about what he cares about because she's a good mom like that! If she wasn't then one of his friends or the school would do somthing!
So she was a good mom she spent money on her kid and made him food and bought him what she thought he would want!
That makes her good because...well because it has to!
And good moms let their kids hang out in there room for a little bit. He's probably tired maybe from choosing a high school to go to!
The UA exams were up in a few days and he could...try for the...support course!
Honestly she doesn't think it would be safe for izuku to be a hero it just..isn't for her 'baby' besides it wasn't like he had amazing grades...
Maybe to make it up to him he could throw him a middle school graduation party and invite katsuki or maybe-
She was getting caught up again tonight was about her!
Izuku wouldn't mind
"So what do you do outside of work?" He asked
"Oh I really like cooking and I clean all the time I'm kinda a neat freak" she said leading to the both of them giggling.
"Dang, do you have kids or somthing to cook for?" He asked jokingly.
Inko didn't know what to say, if she told the truth she might loose this chance and izuku wouldn't mind anyway! he wouldn't even know but if her coworker found out about her lying she could also loose her chance.
She decided to go with riskier route it would probably be fine!
She laughed "No but I would like someone to cook for.." she said taking a giant risk.
He asked flirtingly " hm well I would love someone to cook for me.."
They both giggled and finished their food and eventually he offered to take her home. And of course she accepted the offer.
When she got there she gave him a kiss on the cheek through his car window and left with a witty remark about seeing him again leading them to both smile at each other.
She was definitely going out with him again.
She quickly walked up the steps to her apartment making haste as she wanted to go to bed immediately as she had been extremely tired.
When she got in there she relized how it felt mush less cold and lifeless there, a change she hadn't noticed before, and heard izuku's soft snores.
Smiling to herself she walked to her room and tucked herself into bed before drifting to sleep herself.
Hopeful for the next day's adventure!
Tsukauchi sat in his office with the new report of a serial offender who had been taken down by someone unknown, sat cold on his desk along with the torn bit of a clothing material that was found to be a material found in hoodies... and in fact it was the hoodie.
The hoodie that the author was wearing
They had resorted to calling the person who wrote the notebooks the author as they left mainly no name on any pages found thus far.
But from this report they seemed to have either a speed endurance or intelligence quirk.
But if this mystery person was the author then what exactly was their quirk? and how worried should police and the pro hero's be worried?
Izuku woke up on the floor with his still half damp clothes stuck to his body.
He slowly got up and looked back to see the time on his clock. It seemed to be about four in the morning so he got up and started limping to the shower.
Once he got to the bathroom he looked in the mirror, he looked like a wreck. Red puffy eyes along with dried tears running along his face and dried snot coming from a bloody nose.
A bruise forming in his wild forest curls salt building up in his scalp and small bits of trash and vomit in his hair from the beach. He had a small gash in his forhead and near his eye and he seemed to have a bit of a metal piece stabbing through his earlobe. He had extremely chapped lips and his grayish red hood now had dark stains of who knows what on it. His hands had blisters and were visible torn with dirt and sand violently shoved in the cracks of his hands. His fingernails were completely torn some completely off and his body was badly sun burnt and bruised.
He must have fallen a lot for it to get this bad.
He took off his clothes gently and stepped into the shower and felt as the warm water violently tormented his body.
After standing there for a few seconds he fell to the floor of the shower and he sat on the floor of the shower and just started sobbing.
Unaware of his laptop violently notifying him about his account.
