Izuku decided to treat himself today.
He found some money his mother left on the counter and he was gonna make his personal mission to feel a little better by the end of the day!
He was tired of being miserable, he wanted a break!
(Or maybe this was just normal and he couldn't deal with it because of his...condition...)
But you know what, he didn't care anymore! He was gonna make it his personal mission to enjoy the day while it lasted!
He smiled wide as he steeped onto the subway. He was gonna go to the mall!
(Heck yeah shopping spree! Or just shopping with limited money!)
He stood up in the train, holding the handle above him, adjusting his tee-shirt and shorts that both showed off his lack of exercise. Oh hey that would make a good skit idea!
He should write this down later!
He stood there and looked out the window at the fast moving world, it was so fun that he got to experience this! And just subways in general were interesting especially these ones.
It didn't even have wheels it had magnets!
(How cool was that?)
he looked down at his red shoes. Man they were not in good shape! Maybe he could buy another pair while out?
He took out his iPod from the pocket of his yellow bag and untangled his headphones, putting the earbuds in his ears. He skipped through until he found a song he liked.
(And yes he was using an iPod. Can you blame him his phone is broken.)
'Puppy princess'
You know me as your boyfriend's goofy friend
I seem to have this effect on women
And your friends aren't as goofy as I am
I try my best to keep you entertained
Always laughing at the jokes you are saying
I nod my head when you make a point
Oh oh
Izuku hummed along to the song, slighting bobbing his head to the beat.
(He had to admit he really started to like music after everything it was strangely relieving)
His favorite were indie pop, mitski, and whatever genre 'alcoholic friends' by the Dresden dolls was.
He also had a small interest in an American artist called Jack Stauber. He liked the metaphors and messages behind his songs and sometimes it felt like a puzzle to figure them out. He really liked puzzles.
Like he had a working theory for his song, '0Pepperiment' it started out fine but then some things stuck out at him.
The time where the man yelled at the women and then when the man asked questions like 'when did the spiciness begin.' 'Is it all because of me?' Or 'why did you ask me for a mint?'
Izuku felt that these questions seemed to be somthing a therapist or psychiatrist would ask a patient dealing with an unhealthy relationship or abusive relationship.
If you just changed the words then he thought that the questions would look like, 'when did the abuse begin' or 'do you think possibly you devoted something to this behavior?'
Or maybe it was the abuser asking the other questions, 'is this all because of me?' Or 'why would you do something like (something) you know I don't want you doing that.'
But it was just a theory he hadn't quite figured that one out yet but he did pride himself on having basically figured another one out!
And that one was 'baby hotline'!
Based on two clues there seem to be two people focused on during the song, number one was a depressed women and the other seemed to be a neighbor or friend to the women.
At first the song references a women who is seen as a hoarder of courters or someone who is using up time and resources for her mental health.
She also seems to be on medication where her feelings and damage are pretty much blocked as referenced from the line 'wishing the pills let you cry'.
Through this the other character sees her almost every day and assumes everything is fine and that she'll be fine.
Until the women calls a suicide hotline and is left on hold.
Then she doesn't have a second thought and... well you know. And the song ends with lines like 'and you did it!' And ' I hate hoping.'
Also a small phrase of 'I won't say more I won't even think about it.' Also referring to her death and how in most sucked cases the suicidal person will impulsively off themselves.not giving it a second though until it's too late.
And then it ends with someone calling but the women never picks up.
Whew! He totally got it figured out! He was so proud of himself! Then he noticed the people around him starting at him.
Oh had he said that out loud? Oh well. Eventually he heard a stop being announced that sounded like a good place to start for his shopping spree!
So he started walking towards the exit, ignoring passing stares of people who had heard him mumbling that out. He wondered what Kacchan would have done if he had heard him. He would probably tell him to shut up
(Maybe then these people would be better off)
He walked through the crowds of people Until he found what looked to be the front of the... mall? Shopping center? he didn't know what the name was!
He opened the door to the mall only to be met with a giant crowd he had to basically swim through! Why the heck are so many people here?
After pushing through the crowds and checking his stuff again to make sure none of it had been stolen in the crowd he- ok yes he knows their not villains but you never know ok!?- he looked around at the shops that were open.
There was a music shop with cds, a few clothing stores, a book store and what looked to be a build a bear workshop with various stuffed animals of pro heros available.
Oh and a electronic store! He should go there first! he did need a new phone. He could probably put in an order and pay online.
(Rip savings)
So he simply walked in.

Shinsou really didn't want to be here.
The only reason he was here was because his mother needed a new phone. Why? He doesn't know.
he remembered a conversation someone had online. About what people would do if you died and stuff like that.
And Sometimes he wondered what people would do if he just stopped.
Stopped talking
Stopped coming to things
Stopped dreaming
Stopped breathing
What would people do? Would anybody notice? Would anybody wonder why he was acting weird? Would they just assume he was finally turning into a super villain? Would they be happy that they wouldn't have to deal with him?
God, he hated it here so much!
"Shinsou, could you wait for me here while I talk with that nice man?" His mother's voice could be heard a few feet away.
"Yeah sure" he responded dryly as he heard her footsteps get farther away.
He sighed and looked at his phone.
He had a few notifications. one caught his eye though, and he opened it up.
It was a part two to the song theory they had posted a few days ago. When he opened it he heard a different voice form the last video. Whoever ran this account probably just typed it into a text to speech thing to explain it.
He did actually find this interesting, weirdly enough...
It was kinda fun to know that something so simple could be something else entirely.
(Or like poetry he guessed but poetry wasn't as catchy)
Then he felt a tap on his shoulder.
"Hey!"
When he turned around he saw someone standing there with green hair.
" what is it?" He asked, assuming he had done something wrong or something like that.
" oh uh...uhm I just wanted to uh..say...hi?" The boy stammered, shinsou looked him up and down.
He looked like he was maybe going to high school and by his bandaged appearance he looked as though he had been training.
"What school are you going to?" Shinsou blurted out.
"Oh I want to go to... U.A. maybe the... hero course?"
Oh
OH
shinsou already knew everything about him right there, probably has a naturally strong quirk and thinks he just has to work hard for a few days and everything will be all ok.
Shinsou hated these types of people.
It felt like the universe was making fun of him.
"I'm sure you'll make it any dumb ass off the street could, anyone could." Shinsou stated.
"Oh...ha yeah...anyone. Well it was nice talking...to..you...I like your shoes..." the boy seemed to scramble for a way to end the conversation and just thought that the best way to end was with a compliment.
"Yeah definitely" he said turning away as the boy walked to the other side of the store to find something.
Should Shinsou assume that he was powerful, probably not
Should he have made fun of U.A., probably not.
But it felt so good.
Maybe he just needed to vent a little.
Maybe it would just be this once.
It wasn't like this made anyone think any different of him...
Oh man why did he do that?
He shouldn't have judged him immediately! If he did he would be no better than all of those people in school! He should go apologize to hi-
"Shinsou we can go now." Shinsou's mother's voice could be heard walking toward him.
"Huh? But didn't you just start whatever you wanted to do?" " Shinsou asked looking up at his mother.
"Yeah 15 minutes ago." She said
15 minutes? It felt so much shorter but wait-
"Oh did you happened to see a green haired kid?" Shinsou asked nervously.
"You mean him?" She pointed to his back as he walked out.
"Oh uh yeah." He knew that it would be weird if he just went up to say sorry so he simply followed her out of the store and tried to forget it ever happened.

Izuku was only kind of hurt.
He only wanted to talk to him about what he was watching and what he thought. it took hours to draw the clip in the background!
He had lied about what he wanted to do so he shouldn't be hurt at all!
He didn't still want to be a hero! And he shouldn't have had any kind of thought that just maybe he could have.
The boy with purple hair even said any one off the street could get into UA.
So did that mean he didn't even qualify as just a random on the street?
Well not yet, right? The Entrance exams would be up soon and then he could see..
Anyway he got a surprisingly cheap phone. It was used but it had no cracks in it unlike his old one. He decided he should just go home now.
He was getting really tired.
