Death Arms stood around his fans, answering questions and signing posters. They were about a inch away from him on all sides he could barely move!
The sidewalk they were on seemed to be old with plants growing in the cracks. A few trash cans and a bench could be seen by a tall building that seemed to be a hardware store. He had gotten report of a robbery but another hero had helped with it while he was coming around.
He wished he could've gotten there faster maybe he could've gotten more experience out of it.
But right before he could think another thought he felt a cold metallic liquid run down his head.
And then suddenly everything was dark.
Izuku decided to start kinda working out.
There were 2 weeks until the UA entrance exam and he decided why not? He wished he had actually gotten the chance to pull his application but his teacher hadn't been in the listening mood.
So to make sure he didn't die a horrible death he just had to get some kind of strength. And that's what led him here-
Walking to a beach at the ass c- walking to a beach at 6:00 in the morning.
The only reason he was walking there was because he remembered the person who had helped him out during his...outburst. They seemed nice enough and maybe they could like help him out, or at least tell him where he could go to get help- help with exercising- not mental help-
(If they were there at all)
But he was just kinda hoping they were there, if they weren't he would just give up and wing it on the exam.
And he had been drawing a bunch of art that showed more philosophical ideas. Things like grief, morality, freedom, and choice. They were more abstract pieces and izuku didn't particularly think they did a good job conveying his themes. but his followers thought otherwise apparently.
Soon he had gotten to the trash filled beach and he could see a bit of blond hair peaking through the countless trashed items. He walked up to where he saw the blond hair and hoped it was the same person.
But then another person came into view.
Yagi Toshinori considered himself a good person.
He had saved thousands, and was called many things.
All Might.
Our savior.
A pillar.
Dependable.
Heroic.
An inspiration.
Strong.
Amazing.
A role model.
A leader.
Just all around everyone knew him as the best. He liked being known as the best. But right now he was really tired.
And know the person in front of him would soon be all that, the new best.
Mirio togata, an amazingly talented young man, a devoted student, and absolutely powerful. He was all around perfect, and an even bigger advantage was that he had already trained and worked with Night Eye, Toshinori's former sidekick. The only sidekick he ever had.
It truly was the responsible choice.
So there they were just doing a bit of extra training on Mirio's strength to prepare him for All Might's quirk. It should be over in a month or two and then Toshinori can simply give Mirio his quirk and watch him become number 1.
It would be easy.
He looked over to see a green haired boy looking at them from around the corner. He was just staring, not saying a word even though it looked like he desperately wanted to. The boy seemed to recognize him, possibly a fan?
Soon enough Mirio turned to wear his his mentor was looking, and seemed to recognize the boy as he started to turn around.
"Hey wait!" Mirio yelled out at the boy resulting in him turning around abruptly to face them.
"Uh...hi?" The boy stammered out, very confused at Mirio's sudden statement.
"Would you want to help me out?" Mirio asked leaving Toshinori extremely confused. Why would Mirio waste his training time on a boy who had just randomly walked up to them? It would be a waste to train-
Then Toshinori suddenly recognized the kid.
But that didn't change anything.
The boy- Midoriya if he was remembering correctly was quirkless and wanted to be something he couldn't. They shouldn't waste their time on a lost cause.
Mirio realized that all might was still in his deflated form and started to sweat nervously.
But Toshinori is a role model and it would be better for everyone if he just simply...
" oh wait- young Midoriya is that you?" Mirio looked over at Toshinori slightly confused and slightly hopeful.
"You should definitely stay for awhile." He said adding extra fake openness and acceptance to his voice.
Th boy seemed to stagger back-seemingly out of happiness that someone like him was remembered by someone such as All Might. Anyone would be!
he knew his affect on people, and sure he had been slightly harsh last time he saw this child, but Midoriya was mature enough to see there was no future in heroics with his... Conditions... it was simply unrealistic and sad to let that kid keep living in that fantasy. Midoriya would probably thank him soon.
"Oh-uh-I...I...Idontthinkidliketodothatisthatokimsorryijusthavetogethomeyoucanignoremebyeimsorryihavetogo-" Midoriya talked at a mile a minute making it so neither of the people in front of him could understand a word he said.
"I'm sorry kid- uh- Midoriya your gonna have to repeat that!" Mirio said, remembering All Might calling the kid 'young midoriya'.
"Oh I said I would uh..love to..!" He stated weekly like he couldn't think of a good way to word an excuse to leave. Or maybe he was overwhelmed by Toshinori, he wouldn't say he was surprised, it happened a lot.
"Ok great how about you move that pile there!" Mirio seemed relieved that the kid decided to stay and he pointed to a small pile for the kid to pick up.
" oh uh ok thank you."Midoriya walked to the trash pile and started moving the smaller bits, that seemed extremely easy to carry.
Mirio then turned to Toshinori with a questioning look on his face. " how did you know his name?" He asked.
"I once helped him and we had a small conversation afterwards." Toshinori said with pride and modesty.
"Oh wow so do you know anything else?" Mirio asked.
All might decided to be gracious and keep the kid's problem a secret.
"Nope, I did sign his note book though!" Toshinori smiled at his student.
"Huh... cool." Mirio stood there silently for awhile until walking over to Midoriya.
Mirio walked over to the kid, why was he back here? Why was he taking up Mirio's time with All Might? And why did Mirio want to help the kid?
His feet pushed against the sand. He could feel the bits of crap medal even with his shoes on.
He shouldn't care.
He didn't even know this kid until a few seconds ago.
And the kid didn't seem to need help.
" hey if you want there are some trash bags over there." Mirio gestured to a box on the stairs," you can go where ever you want and pick stuff up."
"Oh ok- thank you!" Midoriya smiled up at him and walked to the boxes.
And suddenly a smile made its way on to his own face.
Maybe having someone else here would be fun.
Maybe just by letting the kid hang around here Mirio would have a more sound mind.
