Izuku's eyes opened but he wasn't in his bed. He was in a room that had all might action figures everywhere. He almost cringed looking at them.
The room had a desk a mini fridge and what looked to be a small balcony.
It looked nice.
He could hear loud chatting coming from inside the place he was in.
He got out of the bed and walked over to the desk. There was a small mirror on it.
He grabbed it and looked at it. The person in the mirror looked well rested and kind of happy. He ran a hand threw his hair to find that it was well washed through and was definitely brushed the night before.
Then he heard a knock on his door, followed by some giggles and a guy speaking,"Good morning Midoriya! I hope you rested well, But it is time to start the day!"
Midoriya looked at the door, who was that?"Oh uh yeah I will -er be out in a second!" He tried to get himself ready.
He looked in the closet and found a UA uniform, maybe someone here had left it in his room and he had just folded it to be nice.
He grabbed a clean pair of clothes, they weren't ripped and they didn't have any stains.
He put on the cloths and walked towards the door. He took a finale look around the room. His notebooks were on the desk and it looked like something he would've loved a long time ago. But now he just wanted to cry while looking at it.
He also found that no headphones could be seen, and that the room was clean. There were no art supplies and random school stuff on the floor or wall.
(Although there probably wouldn't be room for them with all this junk covering it up.)
He took a final breath, turned around and opened to door.
His arm burned as his eyes fluttered open. It was cold.
He was in his bed and he could smell something he hadn't in a while.
A fresh breakfast.
He forced himself out of bed and out of the messy room.
Then he couldn't believe his eyes.
It looked like his mom was washing dishes as a plate of bacon, eggs and toast sat on the counter. She had her hair up and gloves on as she washed a plate . The kitchen, living room and the hallway were completely clean.
He slowly paced over to the counter, his mom seemed to catch that he was now awake and in the room. So she looked back and nervously smiled at him.
"Good morning sweetie..!" She said in an anxious way, as she started to put away her dishwashing materials.
He sat down at the counter and grabbed a fork and knife. "Good morning." He stated as he shoved food in his mouth.
They sat in silence as Izuku ate. That was until His mother spoke up.
"Hey uh...if you get hurt you have to tell me... ok?" She almost whispered.
"Oh- uh- what,- I will!" He tried to look for an excuse.
"Cause I...care about you I can't just have my baby getting hurt without me knowing..!"she was careful with her words.
"Ok I'm sorry for not telling you before." He spoke clearly, lying,"I will make sure to tell you every time I get hurt, from now on!"
"Thank you I'm so glad your my son. But also I wanted to talk about UA and your grades." She spoke a bit louder this time.
Izuku knew this would be a long one. He always would dread about the day his mom mentioned this to him.
"Oh" he mumbled out.
"So what's going on? the majority of your grades are C's or worse! Your better that this izuku! I know you are! I've seen your notebooks so what's going on?"
She raised her voice to a much higher decibel,
"and I know you want to go to UA but you won't stand a chance at this point! And I know you don't want to hear this but maybe it's time to consider different options!"
Izuku looked up from his food and towards his mom.
he can't remember the last time she had spoke to him about this. And his heart broke a tiny bit at the other options part. But he ignored it right now he needed to find a better response.
"I know but I'm still going to try... I know that there's barely any chance but I have some back up plans" he muttered out.
His mother's face was then full of something close to relief, then he heard her mumble out, "Thank god."
"Well I'm glad you have other plans too and uh... just know that I really..care...ok?" She sighed.
"Ok I will mom." He spoke in a monotone tone.
"Great well I'm gonna head to work now, I called ahead that I was going to be late but I don't think they would like it if I skipped a day!" She chuckled to herself nervously.
"Have a good day mom." He smiled as she put her shoes on and paced over to the door.
"And if you have time, could you finish washing the dishes for me? Thanks!" She walked out the door.
He looked towards the unwashed dishes, there seemed to be about 7 things he needed to wash. But he had other plans today.
He wanted to go on a walk.
It was 3 days until the entrance exam and he wanted to see somthing new, something beautiful, somthing comfortable. So he quietly grabbed his phone and walked towards the door. He waited patiently to see if anyone was still there or walking by.
When it was clear no one was there he opened it and walked outside.
He should try and walk over to help Mirio in about 2 hours. So that left him about 1 hour and 30ish minutes.
Then he walked down the stairs to get to the base floor. Once there he paced in a direction he had been on many times before.
Music playing in his ears, he walked to an unknown place of colors and beautiful new sights.
Tsukauchi sat, overwhelmed in his office. Half of the previous cases were sitting on his desk. He had been put in charge of the author cases. Along with figuring out where the information was coming from.
He had been sat over the pages found, reading them over and over again. Yet no hints about who the author was were there.
Except for a few clues.
This person had written small notes to themselves and small doodles.
Were any of them relevant? No, well at least most of them weren't.
From looking at notes such as, 'hard test Friday' and others such as this it's easy to deduce that it's a student. More likely a high school 3rd year or a college student. Or an incredibly intelligent first year and based on the extra notes of math, anatomy, and just studying of people's basic habits.
And there are even lines that talk about certain people.
'Kacchan stole my friggin pencil.' 'A kid with grey hair has been talking to me.' 'What if All might had red hair? Or blue hair? Or brown hair?'
From more lines you could find more out. The person who wrote this likes katsudun and music. Also has a friend named 'Kacchan ' and is pretty focused in class. Probably gets amazing grades and has a good family.
There are only a few worrying lines such as,' what would happen if I just disappeared?' Or ' I don't understand anything.'
But these could be chalked up to stress.
So this brings their age of the author to 16-30. It may still be a big gap but it's definitely an improvement.
But he now had a different problem to figure out.
It was a case of attempted murder. But along with this there seemed to be a new vigilante on the loose.
He read the basic information of the case.
'(Male, age 32, blood type A,)was in the upstairs of a bar gathering some needed supplies. Then downstairs (Male, age 24, blood type O,)used a lighter and materials in the bar to start a massive explosion leading to a fire and destruction of building, this in turn caused the death of (Female, age 48, blood type O.) (Male, age 67, blood type AB.) (Male, age 19, blood type B.)
Then (Male, age 24,) ran up the stairs through fleeing people and towards the panicked (Male, age 32.) A fight begins and then a hooded figure is seen running into the building, and by witness accounts was seen fighting the attacker and then (male, age 32)was able to flee leaving the hooded person with the pursuer.
Later the pursuer was found on the stair case unconscious and arrested.
the hooded vigilante made it out. but some people reported seeing someone with the same description limping through a district near the scene. Along with captured camera footage of someone running. But then the person allegedly was picked up by someone walking by.'
By reading further he could see that there was a bit of description of the place and the people but not anymore on the hooded person.
So his plan was just to send the vigilante team to try and track this person down before they become a threat.
The main issue is the author case, the case of the hooded vigilante is less of a problem. But it's best to get ahead of this vigilante before it gets out of hand.
