"Here to tell you about how Work Studies differ from Internships," Aizawa sighed as the door slid open, three figures stepping in as the class whispered to each other, "Are some people who've gone out there and experienced it all."

The class gasped as the blonde boy, light blue-haired girl and indigo-haired boy walked in.

"We call them The Big Three."

"Woah! The Big Three?" Mina gasped.

"I've heard of them, but…" Kyoka muttered.

"But you wouldn't think so by the looks of them!" Kaminari finished, "And one of them is really pretty…"

"Wait a second," Izuku hummed, leaning forwards in his seat as he looked at the simple faced blonde, "Aren't you the guy that flashed like half of Japan in the Second Year Sports Festival last year?"

"Wait, he is!" Sero chuckled, "I remember my mom being so shocked by it she almost threw the remote at the TV."

"Yep," the blonde laughed loudly, "Not my proudest moment! But I've gotten a lot better with my quirk since then!"

"Hey, I enjoyed the view," Izuku shrugged as he grinned at the blonde, the indigo-haired boy bristling slightly, "Wouldn't complain if I got to see it again."

"Midoriya, enough," Aizawa sighed, "Anyway, time for introductions. Starting with you Amajiki."

The boy turned to look at the class, the students suddenly stiffening under his intense glare. After a moment, he let out a soft whimper.

"It's no good, Mirio, Hado…I was going for potatoes, but they still look like people from the neck down," the boy called Amajiki muttered, before spinning to face the wall, the class staring in shock, "I wanna go now!"

"But aren't you meant to be the Hero Course's best of the best?" Ojiro asked.

"Yeah, but he has the heart of a flea," the girl laughed, the sound bubbly and infectious, "Such a weirdo. Anyway, he's Amajiki Tamaki, and I'm Hado Nejire. We were called here today to talk to you about Work Studies."

"This should be good," Izuku nodded as the girl looked around the classroom.

"But hey, hey, hey. What's with that mask? Do you have a cold or is it for fashion?" She suddenly asked Shoji, leaning to the side, and speaking again before he could get a word in, "Ooh, and you're Todoroki, right? How'd you get that burn scar?"

She quickly began peppering the rest of the class with questions, jumping from desk to desk before anyone could give an answer.

"And you!" she said as she stood beside Izuku, "Your hair is really fluffy, can I touch it?"

"Sure," Izuku grinned as she began to pet his head, "As long as I get to return the favour sometime."

"Ooh! Are you flirting with me?" Nejire giggled, "Cause that sounded kind of like flirting. You know, Yuyu is really possessive of me, she probably wouldn't like that."

"Fair enough," Izuku shrugged, "Had to give it a shot, you're too pretty not to try."

"Shinso-san," Yaoyorozu said, prodding him in the back with something, "Could you do me a favour and hit Midoriya with this."

The purple haired boy looked at the foam bat in confusion, before hitting Izuku over the head with it. The foam object played a comical 'bonk' noise, then spoke, "Go to Horni Jail!"

"The fuck is this thing?" the teen asked, looking back at the girl as half the class stifled laughs.

"Just hit him with it every time he gets too, let's say…enthusiastic," Momo hummed.

"You're really going to do me like that?" Izuku sighed, "With an ancient meme? Couldn't you do it another way?"

"Go to Horni Jail!" the bat said as it hit him again, Izuku glaring at Hitoshi as the other teen grinned.

"Enough," Aizawa sighed, turning to the blonde, "Please tell me you're a little more logical than these two?"

"Ha ha ha!" the boy laughed, "I wouldn't know that! But I can try!"

He turned to the class, a wide smile on his face as he leaned towards the students, cupping a hand around his ear.

"The outlook's looking…?" he shouted, pausing for a moment as the class stared at him for a moment, "Grim! The answer is grim! Well, that didn't go over well!"

"What's up with these guys?" Sato whispered as the blonde continued to laugh loudly, "They seem really weird."

"It's kind of hard to tell what they're made of…" Tokoyami hummed.

"I'm seeing a lot of faces that seem to say "who cares?"" the boy said, his expression dropping suddenly, "You have us third years coming in here and acting all weird when we're supposed to be talking about Work Studies, right? Doesn't seem to make much sense, does it?"

"Not in the slightest," Izuku said, "But that might be because we got our licenses as first years, so our egos are a little big."

"Hey," several of the class said, looking at the smiling teen.

"What? It's true," Izuku continued, "We may have already faced real Villains, had an exam against Pros, and even gotten our Provisional Licenses, but that doesn't mean we have any actual experience in being Heroes."

"EXACTLY!" the blonde said loudly, "You got it in one! But since your classmates don't seem so convinced, how about you all take me on!"

"Uh…what?" the rest of the class said in confusion.

"Seems the most rational way to have them feel the weight of our experiences first-hand!" the boy said happily as he looked at the teacher, "Don't you think so too, Eraserhead?"

"Hmmph," the man grunted, "Do whatever you want."

"Is this for real?" Sero asked as the blonde stretched in front of them, the class standing in Gym Gamma.

"Yup, sure is!" Mirio said happily.

"Mirio, don't do this," Tamaki called from the side lines, facing the wall as he spoke, "We don't want to break any of them beyond fixing."

"Hey, listen to this," Nejire said as she petted Izuku's head, running her fingers through his hair as Mina puffed out her cheeks, "There once was a kid who got discouraged and quit trying to be a Hero."

"And that has what to do with us?" Izuku asked as Mina joined in feeling his hair.

"Well, he caused all sorts of trouble! It was real bad," the blue-haired girl hummed, "I was just saying it so Togata would think about this. Cause otherwise there's going to be pain! True-blue pain!"

"Just a minute," Tokoyami said, "As Midoriya said earlier, we have fought against Pros, albeit with handicaps."

"And we have experience fighting real Villains!" Kirishima added.

"Oh, you poor summer children," Izuku sighed as Kaminari joined the head patting, "You seriously don't think that that will be enough to take on people with years more experience than us? I say we'd be lucky to last five seconds."

"Hey!" Ochako huffed, "You're usually the one encouraging us! What's wrong with you now?"

"Experience," Izuku grinned as he ducked out from under the hands, stepping forwards, "So, who wants to go at Togata-senpai first?"

The class hesitated, before Kirishima stepped forwards.

"I'll do it!" the red head shouted, hardening his arms.

"Oh! I thought you would have wanted to go first, problem child!" Mirio laughed.

"Yeah, but there's something I want to check first," Izuku shrugged, "And it's not like you're going to hurt my friends that badly. Are you?"

Mirio just shrugged as he smiled.

"Close combat squad! We'll hit him all at once!" Kirishima shouted, already running forwards, "Got that, senpai? Give us your best shot!"

The entire group shouted as one as they all unleashed their quirks.

"TAKE IT EASY ON US!"

Mirio's clothes started falling through his body, startling the class as he suddenly grabbed the waist of his pants just before it could reveal anything.

"Apologies, fine tuning this is tricky!" he laughed as Kirishima barrelled into him, passing straight through and falling to the ground.

"He has a phasing quirk!" Izuku called, hands still in his pockets as the rest of the class attacked, lasers, acid, ice, and tape passing straight through his body, "Conventional attacks probably won't work on him!"

"Now you tell us?!" Kyoka shouted as the dust cleared, revealing an empty crater, "Wait, he's gone!"

"No, he's not," Izuku hummed as he darted behind Kyoka, raising his arms in a block.

"LONG-RANGE ATTACKERS GO DOWN FIRST!" Mirio shouted as he suddenly appeared from the ground, blinking in surprise as Izuku grinned at him, "Oh? Staying back to try protecting your friends? Admirable!"

"Thank you, Senpai!" Izuku laughed as the fist swung at him, slamming into his guard, and throwing him back a few steps, "Good, it worked."

"Huh?" Mirio blinked, "How'd you block that punch?"

"That's a secret!" Izuku laughed, darting to the side as another wave of attacks shot through the older teen, who vanished once again, "And down he goes. Where is he going to pop up now?"

Izuku swung his head around towards the melee squad, swearing under his breath as the blonde reappeared behind them.

"Dodge don't block!" he shouted as the punch slammed into Kirishima's gut before the boy could react, sending him to the floor.

"How are we supposed to do that when he can warp?" Sato shouted as the blonde vanished from sight again.

"He's not warping!" Izuku replied, "He's phasing through the ground!"

"What?" the class shouted as one as the blonde appeared behind Izuku, grinning as he swung a punch for the back of his head.

The fist passed straight through, Mirio staggering for a moment before vanishing back into the ground.

"Good, he's aiming for me now," Izuku hummed, "Everyone, back away! Shoto, make a bunch of ice pillars! Creati, fill the area with smoke! And remember, dodge don't block!"

"Got it!" the class shouted as they quickly formed a ring around the new battlefield, Momo lobbing a couple of smoke grenades into the forest of thick ice pillars Shoto created.

"Wow! They're actually holding their own!" Nejire gasped, "I never would have guessed it!"

"That's only because of Midoriya," Aizawa hummed, "He can sense where Mirio is coming from and copy his quirk. Seems there's more to it that we first thought."

"NICE!" Mirio shouted as he popped up from the ground, looking around the altered battlefield, "Limiting my field of view and having a way to counter my punches! I like your way of thinking!"

"Thank you, Senpai!" Izuku shouted as he emerged from a pillar of ice, grinning widely as he was as naked as the blonde, "And you're right, this quirk is tricky as hell!"

"Woah! So that's what it looks like!" Mirio laughed as the fist swung at his head, seeming like it was going to pass through for a moment, before it struck true, knocking the blonde back, "Ow! Wow, that's the first time I've been hit in how long?"

"I try!" Izuku grinned as they began to circle one another.

"How are you predicting my movements so easily?" Mirio hummed, darting forwards with a punch, the fist passing straight through Izuku's head before the teen jerked to the side.

"Part of my own quirk," Izuku replied, punching Mirio in the gut, his fist connecting but doing surprisingly little damage, "I can sense quirks and when they're being used. I can tell what parts you're phasing with!"

"Oh!" Mirio laughed, "So then it's pointless to phase, I guess?"

"Pretty much," Izuku replied.

"Want to have a straight boxing match, then?"

"Nah, you have more experience than me," Izuku shook his head, "You'd destroy me in a regular fight. I mostly just wanted to see if I could block your phasing with my own phasing."

"And your friends?" Mirio grinned as Izuku dropped his guard, beginning to look around for his pants and shoes.

"Have a field day, they need to learn the difference in the levels of experience," Izuku hummed.

"Wow, you can be cruel, you know that?" Mirio chuckled.

"It's only because I care," Izuku laughed back.

The class groaned as they all hunched over, clutching their stomachs in pain.

"What happened, Midoriya? Did he beat you?" Sero asked as he looked at the uninjured teen.

"Nah, I gave up," Izuku laughed, making the class stare at him in surprise as he pulled his shoes on, "What? I didn't want to get gut punched."

"But you let him gut punch the rest of us?" Hitoshi muttered, "I feel so betrayed."

"You needed to learn," Izuku shrugged as they glared at him, "The difference between the miniscule amount of experience we have and the real thing. Even if I'd continued fighting, I probably would have lost."

"That doesn't make us feel any better," Mina groaned, "I'm telling Himiko-chan. No cuddles for you for a week."

"Wait, no! I was just trying to help!"

"Boss!"

The shout made the man tense, looking up from the document he was reading.

"What is it?" he asked quietly, the masked man that had burst into his office standing bolt upright.

"Uh…Uhm…Rappa an' that one new guy is fighting again. They smashed up the whole training room this time an'…"

"Enough," the man growled, standing from his seat, "I'll go put an end to this now. Where are they?"

"Mimic managed to get 'em isolated by doing a shot of Trigger, an' now he's waiting for you!" The man said, his entire body rigid as the Yakuza boss walked past him.

"And you were sent to come fetch me," the other hummed calmly, "Good job."

"T-thank you, bo-!" his words were cut off as he vanished, a large red splash appearing on the wall behind where he had stood.

Overhaul wiped his hand on a handkerchief before pulling on a fresh cotton glove, turning to look at the shaking guard standing just outside the room.

"Get someone to clean that up."
