AN: I know my updates sometimes take a little long, but I take it you all know about my situation so I kindly ask for your understanding ;-)

"Ylva, how lovely to see you again" the principal welcomed her ever so friendly.

She gave him a bright smile. Maybe charming him up would get them out of this mess.

"Indeed it is principal Clarkson, I just wish it was under different circumstances" she replied smoothly.

"Well that could be arrange-" he suddenly held his tongue when Victor walked in behind her.

Victor had waited a few seconds before following in after her. Purposely, to see how this puny man would react to his woman. Liekos was right, this scumbag wanted to make his own claim on her.

"Oh, I'm so sorry principal Clarkson" Ylva apologized to break the uncomfortable moment that passed "This is Liekos' father. Victor Creed".

The big feral man took a step forward to shake hands with the principal. He smirked as he almost squeezed the other man's hands "A pleasure" .

"The pleasure is all mine mister Creed. Why don't you sit down and have some coffee".

He stretched his hand to recover from the fierce grip Victor had on him.

The two of them sat down in front of the principal's desk. Victor leaned back quite lazily and was almost tempted to put his feet on the desk. Show this man who was Alpha. Show this tiny little man that it'd be best if he'd keep his eyes and hands to himself unless he wished to lose them.

But Ylva practically begged him to behave and reminded him this was not the Brotherhood where he could just order and boss people around like they were his property.

Whatever. She was still his property.

"Well Ylva, I must say this is quite the surprise, I never heard you talk about Liekos' father" the principal said with a meaningful look in his eyes as he poured her some tea instead of coffee which he put in front of Victor.

"Well" she smiled innocently "Where did you think Liekos came from?".

Principal Clarkson chuckled nervously before replying "Well, yes, I mean… I know of course how these things work but I… thought-".

"Why don't we cut to the chase shall we?" Ylva asked as politely as possible. But her tone held a complete different meaning: her private life was none of his business.

Victor couldn't be more amused than right this minute. He could sense and smell everything. How this man wanted his mate and how she wasn't interested in him the least. It didn't get much better than this.

"Yes well I'm sure you know which topic needs to be addressed first of all: Liekos picked a fight with three other kids in math class yesterday. He started the fight by punching Carl Roberts in the face which broke his nose. Then Carl's friends joined to defend their friend and Liekos fought them too. He came out without any sort of bruises or broken bones but the other kids did not. They came out pretty messed up. As you know, we have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to picking fights in this school. So I'm afraid I will have to expel Liekos for a week".

"I see" Ylva said as she sat back and crossed one leg over the other elegantly. Her eyes narrowed on the principal, like a mother wolf ready to jump her prey.

Victor eyed her doing it, slowly lifting one leg over the other and letting her hands rest in her lap. He knew what would happen when she took on this position. She was in full awareness mode and ready to attack.

Jesus it made him want to fuck her right there and then, on the desk. Simply lift up that white lacey dress and pound her into oblivion…

"Principal Clarkson" she started, her voice sounding dangerously husky, full of venom and loathing for this man "As you and I both know, my son has a small healing factor. If he gets in a fight around 2 o'clock and comes home at 4, he will have healed. However, this does not mean he does not experience pain like any other normal human being. When a 10 year old fights with three 12 year olds, I'm sure it's safe to say that he must have taken quite the beating. Don't you agree?".

She cocked her eye brow at the last sentence and the principal swallowed hard.

Victor just leaned back and enjoyed the show. This was really getting good, they could bring out the popcorn now for all he cared.

"Yes of course" the principal stumbled a little unsure of himself "But being a mutant… it makes him a lot stronger and-"

"About that…" Ylva interrupted sternly "Liekos has not gone through puberty yet therefore he is not yet a mutant. I do not know if he will be like me and his father. Therefore he has no more strength than the average 10 year old. He just has a healing factor for now".

"He did start the fight Ylva-" the principal tried to explain "Perhaps… Have any disturbing events taken place in his life lately?" Clarkson asked as he quickly eyed Victor.

Victor frowned and wondered why this man kept calling her 'Ylva'. It was so fucking familiar and he didn't like it one bit.

"He started the fight because Carl Roberts was saying very inappropriate things to him. About me, I might add. Have you inquired after this? Or did you feel this wasn't relevant?".

"Of course I have. But your son did not want to tell me what kind of things were said. We usually get along very well but-"

"Well, he did tell Victor. And Victor told me. I was quite shocked by the broad variety of these kids vocabularies. Are you going to talk to Carl's parents about this?" she asked as she leaned forward to sip from her tea.

"Yes definitely, it will all be resolved but in the meantime-"

Suddenly Victor grasped Ylva's hand and held it tightly inside his own as he smirked remarkably at the principal.

"Mister Clarkson, my wife and I-" Ylva's eyes widened in shock when he called her 'his wife' but she quickly masked it "We feel you shouldn't expel or suspend our son for this little incident. Boys will be boys after all. I will have a talk with my son and it won't happen again. That is, as long as you can keep these little brats in line and make sure they stop talking about how badly they wanna fuck my woman" Victor growled at the last bit.

"Yes of course, I will make sure that sort of outrageous behavior won't occur in the future" the principal stammered, quite intimidated by this huge man who had been quiet all the time and now suddenly blew him away.

"You see" Victor continued "As a feral mutant I can practically smell it when someone thinks about those kind of things and I'm sort of a territorial guy. It provokes me. And I'm not a friendly person once provoked" he added maliciously, letting the principal know he was on to him.

Clarkson just stared back at Victor humorlessly. He knew what he was talking about and would definitely not try anything from now on.

Ylva felt it was her task once more to break the uncomfortable silence "If everything has been discussed then maybe you could contact us once you've spoken to Carl's parents?".

Victor noticed how she said she wanted him to contact 'us' instead of just her and it pleased him.

"Definitely" the principal said as he got up from his chair to subtly let the couple know that this conversation was over.

They got up, Ylva shook Clarkson's hand and smiled politely at him but Victor didn't bother with the inferior man. He led his mate towards the door where he halted her for a moment.

His hand stroke her back and downwards towards her bottom. He squeezed her and licked his lips as he glared over to the principal to make sure he'd see it.

"I need a moment alone with the principal baby, can you go to the car and wait for me?".

He pushed her tightly against him and could smell her instant arousal.

"Victor" she whispered as she put her hands up against his chest to create some space. She didn't want to push him off though. She didn't want the principal to know they weren't a real couple.

"Victor" she whispered again when she saw how focused he was on her lips "You promised to behave… you're not going to hurt him are you?".

"I just need a word with him baby, I'm not going to hurt him. Just a word to let him know that he should stay away from other people's property".

"Property?" she asked defiantly as she tried to step away but he held her tight.

"Yeah… you know" he whispered as he brushed his lips against hers "Things that belong to me".

She narrowed her eyes in anger for a moment, mainly because his warm lips teased the hell outta her and secondly because she didn't like to be referred to as property.

"Fine" she finally spoke "See you in one minute".

Principal Clarkson who eyed the little display closely, found it highly inappropriate. Why didn't they just get a room already? The sexual tension had basically been bursting through the walls from the moment they walked in. Did they have to make it this obvious?

He was quickly pulled away from his jealous train of thoughts when Victor closed the door behind Ylva and turned around towards him with a sardonic smirk.

He pulled a small card from the inside of his black coat.

"In the future… if there is ever any trouble with Liekos, or if you feel the undeniable urge to discuss his school results… call this number" he said dangerously as he put the card on the table. "This number and not the home number. And most definitely not Ylva's private number. Got that little man?".

"Excuse me mister, but who exactly do you think-"

The principal was quickly cut off when a huge claw gripped around his throat. Victor grasped the little man's shirt and pulled him over the desk.

"Did you, or did you not understand what I just said? Stay away from what belongs to me or things will become very unpleasant for you" he hissed down at the principal's face.

"Until next time" Victor said victoriously before exiting through the door "Oh, and nice office by the way. I can see our intuition money is well spend".

"What took you so long?" Ylva asked while shivering a little from the cold night breeze.

He smirked and walked over to her "Missed me?" he asked tauntingly.

"No… cold" she explained.

He walked around the car and pulled her roughly against him, wrapping his strong arms all around her little figure.

"Mmmm, need me to warm you up baby?" he whispered a little too close to her ear, his hot breathe and alpha male smell sending shivers down to everywhere.

"No… I need you to open up the car. It was a nice little play you put up there, telling him we're married and all, but we don't need to continue it when we're out of his line of sight".

"Don't need to but we could" he replied seductively as his hands started roaming down towards forbidden places.

"Why don't you open up the car instead and drive me home" she suggested nonchalantly.

Jesus Christ this woman was fucking frigid! He could smell her arousal constantly, nonstop she was basically gushing for him and still she wouldn't give in. Ten years ago he showed her the fucking time of her life. Excellent sex. Fucking brilliant it was. And not just for her…

Ever since he had had Ylva, no other frail had been able to satisfy him. They were all fucking disappointments and it angered him every time he was done with one of them and he threw her out. None of them ever survived if he bit down but she… she just healed and he could do it again and again and again…

He just fucking wanted his little wolf and only her. Not just because she was fucking gorgeous or she could go all night long. And also not just because he could rough her up without complains or cries, unless those cries were pleads for more. But also because she was like him. Feral with a healing factor. There was no need for either of them to ever be alone again. And he had marked her, which meant she was his and his alone.

So if she could just get over her uptight little self already, that'd be great.

"The nerve of that man!" she suddenly exploded in the car after driving for a little while.

Victor looked at her amused "What do you mean?".

"Sure, Liekos dealt the first punch and he shouldn't have done that but it was still three against one so to be honest: I feel kinda proud. And then there's him! Asking me if any great 'disturbing' changes have occurred recently. Then he eyes you, as if it's any of his business that you are suddenly around and then he wants to expel my kid for standing up for himself against three boys who were bullying him and not the other way around! Motherfucker! I was ready to tear his fucking head off".

"What stopped you?" Victor replied grinning.

"Our fucking justice system, that's what".

The vocabulary of his little wolf had expanded greatly also over the years. He never heard her use so many cuss words.

"Well I know one thing, Liekos is not grounded. I should raise his allowance really!" she fired on "The principal was always a nice and fair-play sort of man and all of a sudden he acts all… all-"

"That's my doing" Victor interrupted.

"Huh?".

"That is my fault Ylva. He doesn't really appreciate my fatherly presence. He would rather fulfill that role himself. A.k.a: he wants to fuck you".

"Pfff! he doesn't want to-".

Victor scoffed "He fucking does. Don't be so naive. I could fucking smell it. Did he not ask you out once?".

Ylva frowned. Yes he did, once. She blew him off. Now it made sense.

"How do you know that? No wait, don't answer. It's cuz you're a creepy stalker that's why. Anyway, is that why you needed a word with him?".

Victor just nodded as he gripped on to the wheel a little tighter. Angry at the memory of the puny little human, horny for his mate. His woman, his fucking mate that no one should touch or as much as look at.

"Till what time did ya pay the sitter?" he asked to change the subject.

"Eleven" she replied.

He smirked "Then we have more than two hours to go".

"Mmmm, I think we should head home, check on Liekos and tell him he's not grounded".

"Why? It's almost nine, Liekos will be sound asleep and what's-her-name is there with him so there's no reason to not make use of this time we're given".

She frowned at him questioningly. Perhaps it would be nice to do something fun for herself for a change. Just spend some spare time somewhere else than the music room, the study or around Liekos.

But spend it with Victor? Well, she didn't really mind his company.

Oh, who was she kidding? The night had been perfect so far. They all went out to dinner yesterday which had turned out quite wonderful. Seeing Liekos have the time of his life with his dad almost made her heart run over with admiration. And tonight, even the conversation with the principal could be considered as 'fun'. She smirked as she thought about the possible things Victor could've said after she left.

"Okay" she finally decided "Where to?".

He grinned contently because of getting his way without having to put up a fight.

"You'll see. It's a surprise".

"I don't like to be surprised Victor".

He smirked pleasantly "I know. You told me once".

She was surprised he remembered even though he didn't respect it.

He took a turn and stopped the car in front of a lake. The moon was shining brightly, reflecting on the water.

"You also told me once you don't like to swim and you're not very good at it. We're gonna work on that little wolf".

"Hell no!" she gasped.

"This is not negotiable, wolfs are excellent swimmers, so are ferals".

"Yeah well… I'm not!" she stated defensively.

"That's why we're gonna work on that" he replied decisively "Remember the night I captured you? You could've gotten away if you would've just jumped in the fucking water already but you didn't… It's a matter of trust Ylva. Wolfs are also excellent partners" he winked at her before getting out of the car.

He opened up the door "Come one frail. Let's do this".

She glared at him nervously but got out nevertheless.

They walked over to where the lake reached the shore. With his hand on her back he tried to guide her. He could smell how tense she was. Water really had fucking traumatized his little wolf. It would be two birds and one stone: she would become acquainted with the water and learn to trust him. Well eventually anyway. If this would be the first step, he was satisfied enough.

"I don't have a bathing suit" she protested.

He cocked his brow "So?".

"I'm not gonna swim naked!".

"So keep your underwear on. It's what I do. I'm not gonna swim naked next to you, you'd fucking rape the hell outta me once you see my muscular and godlike body" he joked as he winked mischievously.

She almost roared with laughter. That was really funny and it released some of the tension in the air.

"But… it's my underwear though-".

"You wouldn't be flashing any more than in a swimsuit baby" he replied as he looked away and started taking off his shirt. His shoes were already off.

She took her shoes off also and waited till he had some more clothes off. Then she hesitantly removed her dress. He smirked when he noticed she was finally in her underwear. She hadn't changed one bit, everything was still too bloody perfect.

"Stop it" she said.

"What?"

"Looking at me like that… you used to do that ten years ago. It's freaky and makes me feel like a raw steak that you'd wanna set your teeth in".

He chuckled softly "Yeah but I used to also stalk around you like this" he said as he moved in on her and eyes her lustfully "And then I would stare at you like this and you would freak out over nothing".

"I did not freak out! You were mean Victor Creed" she poked her elegant finger into his chest.

"I know. I'm sorry little one".

For a moment she half expected him to call her 'little wolf' again.

"You're not" she scoffed.

He laughed "You're right. I'm not. It was worth it. Now let's face the water".

She inhaled sharply and walked towards the lake.

"Don't push me in okay? And don't pull me under water either".

He rolled his eyes. As if he ever would do something like that to her.

"Ylva, Don't be stupid. I wouldn't do that. We're not gonna do anything you don't want to".

She wanted to tell him that they were doing exactly that right now but kept her mouth shut. Not looking for a fight. Besides, he was doing this for her. And maybe to see her half naked. Probably to see her half naked.

When they reached the water she suddenly clutched his arm and looked up at him.

"I don't wanna do this Victor" she whispered almost soundlessly. But he heard the desperation in her voice clearly.

"You can do this. We'll just take one step" he replied as he took one step forward and they were standing with both feet in the water.

"See" he said "You can do this. It's just a little water".

But when he took another step, and another, and another, she let go of his arm and didn't move another inch. He was up to his waist in water and turned around to reach for her.

"Walk over to me Ylva" he said as he reached out his hand.

She was biting her nails and nervously shook her head. There was no way on earth she would go any further. He soon realized she wasn't going to come to him on her own accord.

So he walked back and suddenly lifted her up into his arms. One arm supporting her legs and the other behind her back as her arms nervously snaked around his neck.

"Don't throw me in there!" she squeaked.

"Relax little one. I won't, that I swear. I'm just gonna take a few steps and you can tell me when I need to go back".

She swallowed hard and pressed herself even tighter against his chest. He didn't mind. If this was what it took, it was totally worth it.

He took several steps forward into the lake. Her eyes shut tightly as she buried her face in the crook of his neck when she felt the water surrounding her. He could hear her breathing become heavier by the second. When her legs and waist were under water she yelped.

"I wanna get out now!" she hyperventilated.

"Okay" he replied as he quickly turned around and started walking up the shore again.

As soon as they were on safe ground again, she quickly let go and jumped out of his arms. Damn it, he knew they should've stayed in the goddamn water. But she was still breathing heavily and shivering all over.

"You okay?".

"I am now" she stumbled.

She was shivering all over. Not just the fear of the water but she was also cold. Hell, he was cold so she had to be cold.

"I'm gonna get something to warm you up" he said as he walked towards the car.

He came back with a big woolen blanket which he wrapped tightly around her.

"Thanks" she mumbled.

"Here, sit down for a moment" he said as he pulled her down into the sand and sat next to her "Relax, try to breath okay? You did good".

She didn't feel like she did good. She freaked out as soon as she touched the water. Then he basically had to carry her because she sure as hell wasn't gonna go in on her own. Which made her think…

"Aren't you cold?" she asked as she turned her head to look at Victor.

"I'm fine".

She narrowed her eyes on his skin and saw the goose bumps. Yeah… fine. Sure. Mister Alpha wolf just had to try and act all tough again. But he was as cold as she was.

She stood up, unwrapped the blanket from her body and stood in front of him. He looked up at her in confusion as she put the blanket around his shoulders, turned around and sat down between his legs. This way they were both covered in the woolen blanket.

"If ya wanna go home-".

He wanted to punch himself in the face as soon as he said it. He was finally getting closer to her. She was sitting in front of him, between his legs and leaning back against his chest with his arms around her. And then he offered to take her home?! Seriously?!

"Can we stay a little longer?" she asked.

"Sure" he casually answered. Thank fuck he didn't screw that up completely.

She leaned back against him and sighed contently. His head was resting on her shoulders and he was constantly inhaling her scents.

"Thanks for that" she whispered.

He frowned "For what?".

"For not being an asshole and just dropping me in the water".

He chuckled "Maybe you should give me more credit than that Ylva".

"Yeah… maybe I should" she answered most seriously.

And it was true. So far, for as long as he was staying at their house, he hadn't done anything wrong. Well, not anything evil at least. Nothing too cruel. Whenever he did something, it was in her or Liekos' best interest. Sure he toyed with her a little, but it was more part of some seduction game than actual terrorism of her life.

"You were so little when I found you in Stryker's cage that night" he suddenly broke her thoughts.

She smiled a little as she shifted against him.

"You were big. And scary as hell".

He chuckled and brushed his lips against the bare skin of her neck. She shivered and closed her eyes. She wished he'd do it again…

"I'm still big and scary" he replied.

"True" she joked. But he liked the answer. He wanted to be scary.

She sighed "I remember thinking: finally… he finally send someone to end this all".

"And then I didn't".

She nodded slowly "Why didn't you?".

He took in a deep breath and thought about it before answering her. "I had already decided to stop working for Stryker and join the Brotherhood. I didn't feel like working for some inferior bastard who hated mutants. And then I saw you… and for the first time in my life I couldn't make the kill… I don't really know why, but the animal inside took over. I was surprised when I saw you, but mostly because of your smell. Scrappy little feral girl chained up in a dark cell. Like a fucking dog. And you reminded me of someone".

"You" she quietly stated.

"Yes, me".

"My instincts told me to protect you and take care of you. I wanted to get the hell out of there and take you with me. But at the same time, I didn't want to make that little wolf girl go down the same path I did. So I couldn't take you with me".

He finished his sentence by wrapping his arms tighter around her.

She wished he had taken her with him. Sometimes she wondered what would have happened if he had left and taken her with him that day.

But no. She had Jason to take care of and he would have never been able to join the Brotherhood. Besides, she couldn't be in the Brotherhood… They stood for everything she despised: feeling superior over others, taking what you like, kill when necessary or when it pays enough.

No.

But sure, that one night with Victor changed her mind back then. She would lie awake and night, fantasizing on how it could've been: Victor Creed, leader of the Brotherhood, and her. Those nights would keep her awake for hours. Twisting and turning, fantasizing about having him next to her, curling up to him, feeling him inside her, releasing herself around him, plunging her teeth into his neck and marking him too.

If she would have stayed with the Brotherhood… She'd be in his bed every night, he'd be between her legs every night. Or morning, day, afternoon… whenever. But back then she had Jason to take care of, and staying with Victor would've been selfish and wrong. But now Jason was gone and Victor was here again… it confused her. At first she was angry and wanted him gone. Because she felt like a mother wolf needing to protect her kin. Needing to protect Liekos who's little heart would break if Victor would stay for a little while, get tired of playing house and then just leave. So she wanted him gone.

But he seemed different these days. Still the same arrogant, possessive and handsome brute. But more relaxed in a way. More at ease with himself perhaps? With who he was and what he had going for him in life. It made her wonder if she had misjudged him. Cuz so far, he had shown to be a fine father…

She quickly shook the thoughts away.

"Let's try again" she spoke determinedly.

"The water?" he asked.

She stood up determinedly "Yes. The water. Let's try again".
