Jake, Amy, Charles, Rosa, Shawn, Gus, and Jules all meet outside of the 99 Precinct. Jake has a plan.

"Alright everyone, here's the deal. I was thinking we should split up. We need to keep an eye out for the Food Truck Bandit. He could appear at anytime, anyplace," Jake explained.

"Awesome!" Charles is pumped. "Well, it looks like it is you and me Jakey."

"Actually, Charles I was thinking about me and Shawn teaming up."

"I'm sorry, what?"

"I love this guy and I want to get to know him. You're going to be cool with this, right?"

Charles pauses for a few seconds. "Yeah, okay," he quickly responds.

"Are you sure? I know you tend to get jealous."

"When have I ever gotten jealous?"

"Stevie, my first partner I had as a cop, Brad from camp, James from college, even Derek who I barely even knew."

Charles is angry. "You just had to bring up Derek!"

"Charles, please don't do this."

Charles thinks about it for a few seconds. "Fine," he said.

"Cool Cool Cool. Besides, you and Gus can team up and get to know each other."

"You cool with teaming up with Charles, Gus?" Shawn asked.

"Sure," Gus replied. "I'll" miss working with my buddy, but I'll" be fine with Charles."

"Great. Rosa, you wanna team up with Charles and Gus?" Jake asked.

"Whatever," Rosa replied.

"Love the attitude Diaz," Jake said. "Well, that leaves Jules and Amy."

"Great, now I can get to know more about Jules," Amy said.

"And I would love to get to know more about you," Jules replied.

"Alright, on the count of three, we all say 99," Jake said. 123

"99!" Everyone shouted.

Next, Gus asked Charles a question.

"Hey Charles, do you know anyone who has a crush on Rosa?"

"I used to have a crush Rosa."

"For real?"

"I sure did, but it didn't work out and now were good friends."

"Really? You were once madly in love with Rosa?"

"Yeah, but it was a one-sided thing."

"Well, I have a crush on Rosa. She seems dangerous and mysterious."

"She's definitely mysterious, but I wouldn't get your hopes up."

"Why?"

"It didn't work out for me, so what makes you think it will work out for you?"

"Oh, don't worry. I'm a player that has smooth pick-up lines to win her over."

Rosa calls Charles and Gus.

"Hey, you two! Let's get a move on!"

Jake and Shawn are riding around in Jake's 1967 Ford Mustang, as they get to know each other while on the case.

"Jake, this is a sweet Ford Mustang."

"I know, right?"

"I bet you made out with a lot of girls in this car."

"Well, I don't mean to brag Shawn, but I have son!"

"Nice, or should I say "noice."

"Yeah, that's it, so how long have you and Gus been best friends?"

"Since childhood. How long have you and Charles been buddies?"

"Since working at the 99. I hope Charles will be okay with Gus. He seems to come off as the jealous type when it comes to the people I met before him."

"Well, you met me for the first time today, so you have nothing to worry about," Shawn jokingly laughs.

"Good one," Jake also laughs. "Say, do you like Die Hard? I'm a devoted fan of Die Hard."

"I love Die Hard. I remember telling my dad that me and Gus found two new Die Hards. I was Die Hard, Gus was Die Harder. We had two other guys in our crew, but they were not as good as us."

"Cool. The first four Die Hard movies were the bomb." Jake said.

"I actually think the first two were awesome, but not so much for the other two." Shawn replied.

"Well, the fifth movie was the bomb, not like it was awesome "the bomb" I mean it literally bombed, as in it was not good." Jake said.

"It earned a fifteen percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It literally killed the franchise." Shawn replied.

"I can't believe I told Charles that the fifth movie was going to be fine… it was not fine!"

Back at the 99, Gina is sitting at her desk while gently grinding down and shaping the edges of her nails. Terry comes over to see her.

"Hey Gina, what are you up to?"

"I'm bored out of my mind, so I'm gently grinding down and shaping the edges of my nails."

"Those are some cute red nails. You gotta make sure the nails look good."

"Hell yeah. Nails be on fleek! Now I am bored again. I don't know what to do now."

"I don't see how you're so bored when you do absolutely nothing at the 99."

"Well, I wish I was doing the stolen food truck case."

"You wanted to hunt down The Food Truck Bandit?

"No. I just wanted to hang with the psychic I ran into and brought him back to the 99. I could be hanging with him, Jake, and Rosa right now I mean I could have replaced either Amy or Charles. It is the least they could do for me since I was the one who brought him back here. I think I deserve some credit."

"Why don't you do some Gina stuff?"

"Like what?"

"You know, like pranking people."

"OMG Terry, I could definitely go for some pranking."

"There you go! Just don't prank me, okay?"

Gina laughs. "You're so funny Terry?"

Terry gives her a serious look. "Terry's serious," then he walks away.

Scully is walking back to his desk with a cup of coffee in his hand. Hitchcock notices the kick me sign on his back. With a delightful smile on his face, he walks behind Scully and kicks him in the buttocks, causing Scully to spill his cup of coffee. Scully turns around and confronts Hitchcock.

"Why did you kick me in the ass?"

"Hey, I'm not the one with the kick me sign on my back."

Scully is now angry. "Oh yeah, let's see how you like this," Scully then kicks Hitchcock in the shins.

"Ow!" Hitchcock collapses on the floor and holds his leg in pain after being kicked in the shins.

"You bastard! You kicked me in the shins I thought we were buddies?!"

"Friends don't kick buddies in the ass."

"It's not my fault! I am not the one with the kick me sign on my back!"

"Yeah, well enjoy some more of this!" Scully kicks Hitchcock in the shins again.

Gina is shown at her desk with her arms crossed, as she is laughing at Scully and Hitchcock.

"I love pranks," she said.
