Well, here's something else that I thought of doing. Hopefully, I'll get more done on this one as well, especially since I have the plotline laid out. This is just a way to get a foot in the door.
It was done. Or at least it was close to being done, in the eyes of one man, one Titan.
He spent everything to obtain the six stones that had complete control of the universe's concepts of existence. The first was power, then space, reality, soul, time, and now the mind. He felt the last of the six stones coursing through his body. All he needed to do now was finish the task and...
BLAM!
Before he could react, the Titan felt a large lightning bolt that struck him in the face, showing his face into the dirt. By the time he recovered, he found his electrified attacker in the air ready for another swing. Using the power stone, he attempted to vaporize his enemy with a beam of pure energy. To his shock, the energy was absorbed or deflected by his weapon, which he threw towards him. Despite his efforts to slow it down, the ax struck him in the chest, shutting off his power.
The Titan's enemy landed by him, grabbing hold of the weapon he used to kill the warlord on whom he swore revenge.
"I told you," Thor said in his face. "You'll die...for that."
The Norse god jammed Stormbreaker forward, shoving deeply into the wound. The Titan writhed as the Asgardian king appears to have gotten him.
"You should," the Titan said weakly. "You should've..."
With the ax deeply in the chest, Thor was certain that he had gotten him. It was a weapon made specifically to kill someone like a Titan, no matter powerful he was. The weak voice made it even certain that he got his revenge, and delivered a painful death to top it off. That was until he heard the words.
"You should've gone for the head."
SNAP!
"NO-"
In a similar universe was another Earth, ruined by war and hazardous substances. Nearly all of humanity was extinct save for those who were mutated from the disasters that occurred long ago. Most of these showed draconic wings with the majority of them being pink or female. Everything was pretty much tranquil as there was hope for life in this world. That was until just a few moments ago.
In the main mountain and shrine that was some to the dragons, a certain priestess was with her superiors as they observe a massive white dragon in the sky. It was writhing while massive distortion of spacetime and electricity fluctuated around her.
"Lady Salamandinay, don't!" Kaname kept her mistress from getting too close.
"Mistress, please stand back," Naga assisted in retraining her.
"What's going on!?" Salamandinay shouted. "What's happening to Aura? Why is she in pain!?"
"We just saw this happen," Dr. Gecko said in the midst of the chaos. "She was fine until a few moments ago before she-"
Another roar came from the massive dragon as the youngest girl there, the leader of the dragons, crawled closer to her.
"Please," the girl pleaded. "What's happening? What's going on so suddenly-"
She was interrupted as the singularities grew stronger. The dragons below grew more shocked as the first of their kind started vanishing in ashes, starting from the tail and wings. Many of them, especially Salamandinay, wanted to help but they had no way to saving her. Only a voice came from a large beast, a telepathic one that reached out to everyone.
"Children, wait for him. Only he can save me...and you."
With those last words, the head of Aura vanished into dust, leaving everyone in silence. The distortions and lightning stopped, returning to a peaceful sky. But the atmosphere remained dead as the remains of a massive beast showered the palace.
"No," Lizardia muttered as the ashes of the great dragon drifted into her arms. It was like all of her work to free her was been reduced to nothing.
"Everything who we lost," Salamandinay said. "Everything we did to save her…"
"Mistress, you must-"
Naga could not complete her sentence, and Salamandinay and Kaname could see why. Naga was gone, turned to dust like Aura was.
"Mistress, calm down," Kaname put her arms around the leader of the Freya clan. "You mustn't give yourself into-"
The other personal guard disappeared as well. Now there was no besides the priestess to contain her feelings. All over her, dragons started sharing the same fate as Aura, all vanishing into dust like they were never even there. Dr. Gecko, Lizardia, and even the High Priestess didn't know what to do.
"She's gone," Salamandinay went onto her knees. "Everything...is gone."
On a nearby island, a more ordinary woman was in an infirmary. She showed signs of exhaustion with bruises and scratches all over her body. One could tell that she wasn't cut out for physical work.
"I see you've been working hard," Maggie took care of the woman. "You should rest easy here. Don't push yourself too hard."
"T-Thanks."
Despite being around for a while and sobering, it wasn't easy for her to adapt. For all of her life, she saw people like the nurse as completely inferior. Now that everything has changed, she felt very left out. Of course, a few certain individuals were very kind of her away, with Maggie being one of them.
"Anyway, if there's something you need, you're free to tell me."
"Anything," Emma shied away from the woman. "Actually, there is some-"
"Well, not everything," Maggie interrupted to correct herself, was unsure of what she wanted. "But nonetheless, you're free to tell what's-"
Just then, the nurse's head collapsed into ash. It wasn't long before her whole body fell apart, much to Emma's confusion. Even Jasmine, who was watching by the corner after carrying Emma in, was left dumbfounded.
"Hmm, that was odd," the old woman commented.
"W-What happened?" Emma panicked for a bit.
"I don't know, but you're not to only one who saw it, don't think you're insane there," Jasmine assured. "I'll quickly report this to Ange. Come with me, Vulcan, let's-"
Jasmine turned to what should've been her pet dog. All she heard was a whimper as the dog suddenly vanished beside her. It wasn't long before a loud scream erupted outside. Whatever happened surely wasn't limited to the infirmary as they could attest. The question was the scale of such an event.
"Please...wait here," Jasmine issued as Emma as the screams continued, followed by falling metal debris and explosions.
Outside of Arzenal were the residents running and panicking as the chaos engulfed the island. It didn't help that it was raining outside, which made this even messier. Many of the residents turned into dust, though not simultaneously, which was a major fear factor. Para-mails and other machines came crashing down, with some of them falling on top of the newly built structures.
Jasmine could witness an easily identifiable trio standing in the center.
"I'm scared," Chris held onto her lover tightly, unable to control her shaking. "Rose, please help! I'm scared!"
"Just stay calm, damnit!" Hilda shouted as Rosalie held onto Chris even tighter. "You're not the only one who wants to lose anyone!"
"Please, Rose, I," Chris stopped as she started seeing ash from her fingers. "NNNOOOO-"
Chris didn't even complete her scream as Rosalie's arms held nothing but air.
"Chris? CHRIS!?" Rosalie remained in denial, unaware that there was dust manifesting on her legs.
"ROSE!" Hilda shouted, but her efforts were futile as Rosalie turned into dust. She clenched her fists while standing by her now disintegrated friends. She didn't even notice that there was someone else looking for her.
"Ange? Ange!?" Tusk went through the chaotic scene, only to find Hilda stood in the center of it all. "Hilda, have you seen Ange?"
Hilda's head turned a glare that terrified the boy. It only took a while before she recognized who she just intimidated before relaxing.
"Chris and Rosalie are gone," Hilda grabbed him by his shoulders, though not as tightly as she wanted.
"Huh?" Tusk could pick up what she said, only for her to violently shake him.
"THEY'RE GONE! They turned into ash just like everybody here! Can you stop acting like such a dimwit and-"
"H-Hilda, please don't-"
Tusk's words caused Hilda to divert her attention. She was no longer able to Tusk as her army crumbled away.
"Oh, for fu-"
The red pigtailed girl then vanished, leaving a pile of ashes behind just like the others. Tusk remained there for a few seconds before breaking away, unsure what to do other than continue searching for the woman she sword to protect.
Nearby, a young girl was by the ashes of another. She pretended to smile, thinking that this was a comedy show or magic trick.
"Vivian," Ersha approached her as Salia came by. "
"Uh, quiz time," Vivian tried to play a joke. "What's going on? Why did mother turn to dust, like... everyone else to turned to dust here?"
"I don't know, but I know this isn't a trick," Salia answered.
"Come with me, Vivian," Ersha welcomed the girl with open arms. "I will make sure you'll be protected from this."
"Sure thing, Miss...WHOAA!"
Vivian gave a surprised face as found herself turning into ash as well. Ersha was left open arms as only remains blew into her face.
"Vivian? Vivian!?"
Salia was left dumbfounded as dustings started to clear. Never before did she ever encounter something like this, and she was significantly smarter than most of those around her. Well, she wasn't completely smart in a certain field like Maggie or Mei, who she also saw become dust, but she had her merits.
It wasn't long before Tusk found Salia and downed Ersha.
"Salia!" The Ancient Human rushed over. "Salia, have you seen Ange!?"
"T-Tusk," the girl stuttered to find the desperate boy. She then processed the information enough to give an answer. "I-I haven't seen her since she took the Vilkiss! She took off just before all of this happened, and I haven't seen her since!"
Just then, a huge Para-mail descended from the sky, completely white with a bust figure on top. Tusk, Salia, and Ersha jumped out of the way as the machine landed right near their location. It then took a knee, as raised started pouring from its red visor.
"Ange, watch where you're landing next time!" Salia berated the supposed pilot inside. "Next time, just tell us when you're going to land the Vilkiss onto the deck before you do it!"
But the voice wasn't the one she was expecting. In fact, it was something she least expected."
"Lady Angelise," a voice came from the machine. It was soft, so they couldn't hear. But they could easily tell it wasn't Ange's voice.
"Please, no…"
Tusk's soft words of desperation were drowned by the rain as a certain maid came out. She was often the cheerful kind, always willing to help anyone, especially the one she displayed extreme devotion to no matter what the circumstances. However, the situation, and her weak voice, told them otherwise.
"Lady Angelise," Momoka wept as she carried something in her hand. "Lady Angelise, she's-"
The object then fell from her fingers, bouncing off Vilkiss and rolling on the ground. It stopped at Tusk's feet, though he didn't bother picking it up. He kelt to the ground and fell forward, hitting both fists onto the pavement. His mind wanted to think it was a scary dream, but she didn't, and the ring belonging to the one he loved was still in his face.
Screams of agony radiated on Arzenal, more than a representation of the shadow that has fallen on the world.
So, to make things clear, I simply used a coin toss to determine everyone's fate, and this was the result. To have a quick review, below is the list of those who survived Thanos's snap, listing them by race.

I haven't done the World of Mana yet since that'll come in the first actual chapter. Again, this is just to get a foot in the door and make the setting for what happens five years later. Hopefully, I'll get to it when I have the energy and chance to write it.
Either way, hope that was a decent read.
