Chapter 2

When Betty woke up, she felt disorientated. She was in a small space that jerked up and down every few seconds. Then she realised 'I'm in Jughead's trunk!'. She knew that she was tied up so she tried to bring her arms under herself to bring them to her front. When she succeeded in that she reached up to grab a bobby pin from her hair and jabbed it into the tape, making it easier to rip it off her wrists. She then took the hood off of her head and removed the tape from her ankles. When she was free from her restraints, she positioned herself so that her legs were facing the door to the trunk and waited.

Eventually, the car came to a stop and Betty heard the two serpents open and shut the car doors and walk over to the trunk.

"Are you ready?" She heard Jughead say.

"As I'll ever be" Sweat Pea responded.

As soon as the trunk opened she thrust her legs out into Jughead's stomach, knocking the wind out of him. She jumped out, kicked Sweat Pea in the groin and then set of running. She didn't know where she was, just that they had been parked outside what looked to be a bar next to the woods. She sprinted into the woods as fast as she could and looked back to see that Jughead was chasing after her. He was clearly a lot faster than her and was closing the gap quickly.

Betty continued running until she came across a river and jumped in. She stayed at the edge, pressing herself against the a large boulder.

She had been waiting a few minutes until she heard someone walking near her. The footsteps stopped for a second and then continued on, getting quieter as they walked away.

Betty waited a few minutes just to be sure that no one was there and then she slowly crawled around the boulder.

She heard a twig snap and turned her head to look behind her, seeing nothing she turned to the front and bumped into a pair of legs. Betty froze, lifting her head to see none other than Jughead. His arms were folded and he looked pissed. Very pissed.

"You could've just made this easy" he growled "You could've just stayed quiet and behaved and none of this unnecessary shit would've happened!"

He reached down and grabbed Betty's ponytail, forcing her up as Betty yelped in pain.

"You're coming with me and you're gonna be quiet this time, do you not see that I'm just trying to protect you?!" He yelled.

"Protect me?!?!" Betty screeched "All you've done is add to your list of crimes! You really thought that kidnapping me, your girlfriend was the answer!?"

Jughead ignored her dragging her through the woods by her hair.

Betty was panicking. She knew she couldn't let Jughead take her to that bar so she kicked her foot into the back of his knee. Making him release his grip on her hair and set off running for the second time. She hadn't gotten far when Jughead crashed into her, knocking her to the ground. The two struggled on the floor for a minute until Jughead had Betty pinned to the floor, her arms held above her head and Jughead straddling her legs.

Betty spat in his face and received a hard slap and Jughead wiped the spit from his eyes. His face was red with anger.

"I guess we're gonna have to do this the hard way" he hissed, grabbing a large rock from the ground and bringing it down hard on Betty's temple. Betty felt herself losing consciousness and a wave of dizziness came over her. She felt Jughead pick her up, bridal style, and start walking. Jughead looked down at Betty and she saw him smile at her before her eyes closed and she fully lost consciousness.
