It was his first day of school when she met him. He was a transferred student from the big city, Narukami Yu. The first impression she had about him was a quiet person he must be. She wasn't so sure about it, but a hint of gloom seemed to cover his face. Chie and Hanamura didn't seem to be aware of it, though. Due to the busy schedule in the inn, she declined the invitation from Chie.

It was then she saw the grayish eyes of him.

It was clear and sincere. For a moment, her heart skipped a beat. Before she realized, she quickly excused herself and ran away from his sight.

She wondered why she had to run off like that.

Later, she was kidnapped. Chie, Yosuke and Yu came to save her. They saw the ugliest part of her, yet they accepted her for who she was. From then on, they became a lot closer than before. She was too, awakening as a Persona User.

With more and more people being thrown into the TV World, including the idol Kujikawa Rise, they saved them and they all awakened as Persona User. To find out the culprit behind the crime, they worked together to save people while looking for the culprit.

In the process, Yu and she became a lot closer. They used to hang out after school, or during the weekends. She refused to be bound by the burden and responsibilities of the inn, hoping one day she could leave everything here and start a new life. She tried to persuade herself that this was what she really wanted, what she really hoped for, trying to ignore the timid voice in the deepest part of her heart that was yelling : she couldn't leave her parents, nor the inn. It was Yu who helped her to realize it.

Slowly and deeply, she developed the feelings for him, and fell for him.

She didn't know what the boy was thinking, and it was too shy to confess her feelings to him. She knew he dated other girls in the school as well, including her best friend Chie. Part of her heart felt grieved and sour over the boy's action, so she decided to keep these feelings for herself, knowing the boy would go back to the city one day. She would just treasure the feelings, and maybe one day these feelings of her would just fade away.

Later, they caught Namatame Taro, the supposed culprit behind all the crimes. He even kidnapped Nanako, turning the little girl into his victim, while saying he was doing for her good. He would save her...what a ridiculous thing. At the end, they managed to catch Namatame and save Nanako, but the condition of the girls was turning worse little by little.

After facing Namatame, they came to a conclusion that Namatame was not the real culprit. There's another person behind everything. They gathered around, trying to brainstorm who was the possible real culprit. However, even with the help of Naoto, the Price Detective, they came with no conclusion.

And the fog seemed to get thicker.

She looked up to the sky. With this weird and thick fog, they could see nothing, as if the mystery that surrounded them.

The next second, when she opened her eyes, her surroundings changed.

It was her room. She was right in her room, and she was dressed in her pajama.

What's happening? She was supposed to be with everyone, wasn't she? Why was she…?

And then, she heard some voices. Out of curiosity, she decided to take a look outside, looking for the source of the voice.

She never thought she would get to see that with her own eyes.

Yamano Mayumi was being forcefully pushed into the TV by Adachi Tohru. He covered her mouth to avoid her voice being heard by anyone, while pushing her into the TV. Without further thinking, she ran over to stop him.

However, she was pushed into the TV together with Yamano Mayumi.

This was completely out of her expectation. Adachi was the culprit of killing Yamono Mayumi. He was the killer, yet they all thought it was done by Namatame.

Wait...what's the timeline now? Why was she here?

She tried to call Teddie, but no matter what she did, she couldn't find him. This place was a complete labyrinth. Without Teddie's glasses, she couldn't see through the fog, let alone finding a way out of here. At the end, she and Yamano Mayumi were killed by Mayumi's Shadow.

Once again, she was back to her own room.

Gasping with terror, she looked at her palms to find that she wasn't injured at all. The pain and the fear of dying was too difficult to forget. She couldn't stop herself from trembling.

Why was this happening? Why did she repeat everything?

She gave herself a moment to calm down, because she knew what was going to happen next. Minding her steps, she took the phone with her, going to the spot where Yamano Mayumi would be pushed into the TV.

This time, however, she made a decision to not get involved in the matter.

Deep in her heart, she knew she shouldn't be doing this. This was wrong, no one would like it. She too, felt extremely bad when witnessing the woman being pushed into the TV. Biting her bottom lip, she did her best to ignore the scream of the woman and take the photo of the crime.

Carefully but quickly before Adachi found out about her, she made her way back to the room. Later, the news of Yamano Mayumi's death struck the public. Narukami Yu transferred to the school and police investigated the matter. Everything went as before.

She secretly stalked Adachi with her limited free time. Until now, she still couldn't believe he was the true culprit behind everything. Combining the words from Namatame, it wasn't difficult to come to a conclusion that Adachi was the one that cheated Namatame to throw people into the TV. She was one of the victims back then.

They were wrong to believe in him. Yu was completely wrong to believe in him.

He was totally a jerk.

Pressing down the disgusting feelings, she was shocked to see that Adachi came to touch with Konishi Saki, the first person that discovered Yamano Mayumi's corpse. It could mean that...Konishi Saki's death was related to him as well.

The more she discovered, the more she feared. At last, she decided to confront Adachi before making her decision.

However, she was too naive. She was still a child, unlike Adachi, easily being cheated. This time, once again, she was thrown into the TV. To make things repeated, she had no choice but to suicide.

Again, everything repeated.

This time, she decided not to confront Adachi. After Yamano Mayumi and Konishi Saki's death, she helped Yu to investigate the crime. Finding the right timing to reveal the true culprit was Adachi, thinking that Yu would believe in her, she even showed the picture of Adachi throwing the announcer into the TV. Yet, Yu didn't fully believe in her. He was suspicious the reason she didn't tell them early, and how she came up with the method of the crime. Speechless, she couldn't tell him that was because she repeated everything, right?

Yu took the picture to confront Adachi, and it led him to death. Seeing the dead body of Yu, she finally collapsed.

She loved him, yet she killed him! She shouldn't tell him! She shouldn't let him confront Adachi alone! Why didn't he believe in her?

The next time she opened her eyes, she came to a new cycle. Thinking of what had happened in previous cycles, tears rolled down to her cheek, and she couldn't restrain it anymore. Having cried out all the desperation and frustration, she came to a new resolve.

She would tear off the mask on Adachi, and made Yu realize who was the true culprit.

She tried and tried and tried, yet she failed and failed and failed.

Every time she failed, a new cycle would start. And each new cycle began, her resolve became stronger and firmer.

She couldn't lose here. She couldn't lose Narukami Yu.

She knew that, perhaps part of her was broken, because she became colder than before. Nothing was meant to shake her, except Yu.

He was the only reason she tried so hard in this endless cycle. She didn't bother about other things. She would save him, and solve everything as well.

She had no idea how cruel she had become.

Holding the knife on her hand, she looked at the man's dead body on the ground with despise. Even the blood of the man was disgusting. She covered the knife with a thick cloth, put it aside first. Then, she threw the man into the TV, like how he did to Yamano Mayumi. As for the knife, she put it into the TV so nobody would find it, and it won't remind her of this disgusting memory.

Her hands were stained now, stained with the blood of Adachi. Thinking of this, she decided to take a bath. It wouldn't wash away her sins, but it would wash the blood away from her.

This was enough. As long as she didn't see the blood on her body, she could keep moving on.

This was insane, but this was the only way she would keep going on.

The first time she killed Adachi, she thought she could just leave the Midnight Channel alone, and just lived her life like they were used to be. However, with the Midnight Channel continuing, the fog surrounded the town, at the end she started a new cycle.

Now that she knew, even Adachi was dead, it wasn't enough to put a stop on the matter. There must be someone behind the Midnight Channel. Her fight was not over.

This time, she would stop Adachi, and found the one behind the Midnight Channel.

Again, she killed Adachi. A plan started to form in her mind.

With Adachi gone, now there's only one person who could take his role to be the true culprit.

Hi, another short story from me. This time, it's P4G turn, which I pick Yukiko as the main protagonist in the story. I don't remember when and where I read an interview article with Atlus, it mentions Yukiko is actually the true culprit instead of Adachi. They decided to change it to Adachi because this setting is too dark and heavy. That's why I choose Yukiko out of the girls in P4G. And I think Yukiko is the best choice here as well.

Hope you enjoy the story as well.
