The Serpent of Agrabah

Chapter 1

The Death of the Street Rat

The cave of wonders was clasping in on it's self. The diamond in the rough, named Aladdin was dangling on the edge of a ledge. The magic carpet that he was riding had become trapped under a boulder. Aladdin struggled to hold, he tried to reach out to Jafar, who was disguised as a old man.

"Throw me the lamp." the old man said.

"I can't hold on. Give me your hand." Aladdin pleased.

"First give me the lamp." Jafar said. Aladdin handed the old man the lamp, once the dark hearted man had his price he held it up high and laughed triumphantly. "Yes. At last." he said then he put the lamp in his pocket.

Aladdin struggled to climb out. Abu came to his assistance, but the old man kicked the monkey aside and grabbed the street rat's wrist.

"What are you doing?" Aladdin asked.

"Giving you your reward. Your eternal reward." Jafar said as he held the dagger high. He was about stab Aladdin when suddenly Abu bit him on the wrist. Jafar screamed in pain and dropped Aladdin. The street rat fall from a great height. Jafar grabbed the monkey and throw the animal into the cave. As the Aladdin fell he hit cliff several times causing him to become unconscious.

After serval attempts, the carpet managed to escape and flew as quickly as he could, but just as he caught Aladdin and Abu another much larger rock fall on all three and crushed them to their untimely death. The cave gave one last groan before sidled up forever.

"Heh heh heh. It's mine." "It's all mine. I..." He tried to the lamp but it won't there. "Where is it? No. No." he cried into the night sky.

Under the boulder, the lamp had been crushed. Before being thrown into the cave, Abu had managed to grab the lamp, unfortunately it was of no use to the dead monkey and his deceased friend.

Jafar rode his horse back to the palace with Iago, who had been hiding in the cloths of the old man disguise, flying next to him.

"Oh great all these years of trying to get that stupid lamp, wasted, down the drain." the parrot said.

"Oh shut up." Jafar shouted at the parrot. "I should poison you..." That was when he got an idea. "That's it I'll poison the sultan and the princess. Then I can take my rightful place as the ruler of Agrabah." said before chuckling in an evil tone.
