Chapter 4

Jafar's Demise

Jafar entered the throne room still chuckling to himself. He still couldn't believe how well his plan had worked. He had successfully killed both the Sultan and the princess and now he could rule all of Agrabah. He took his seat on the golden elephant throne. Razoul came in to the room, he was looking for Jafar to ask him what they should do now that the princess was in charge. Jafar was just about to tell him about Jasmine when two more guards came into the room.

"Razoul, we're on started our night pratol, when we heard a noise coming from the princess bedroom." the first guard said.

"And we got there, she was gone." the second guard said.

"What?!" Razoul shouted.

"Oh no." Jafar said pretending to be shocked.

"What do you mean she's gone?" Razoul asked in frustration.

"We entered it but she wasn't there?" the first guard said.

Jafar and Iago looked at each other in confession. They had left the princess on the floor. How could she be gone.

"Get every guard to pratrol the city, leave no stone unturned. We don't rest until we find her." Razoul ordered.

The two guards nodded and then run out of the room with Razoul to find the missing princess, leaving Jafar and Iago alone. Once they were out of ear shot, the parrot spoke.

"Oh that's just great. Once again another one of your stupid plans has failed once again." Iago said.

"I don't get it, I sure the poison had worked. She died right in front of me." Jafar said trying to understand how everything could have gone wrong.

"I told you that bottle wasn't poison you moron!" Iago shouted.

Meanwhile, in the hallway, a forked tongue caught the sense of food. The creature slithered towards the area where her next meal would be. She reach the throne room and saw the dark hearted man and the loud mouth parrot arguing with each other. The snake woman looked for a place to hide, so she could ambush her victims. Soon Jafar got up and quick walked to his secret lair to hide for the guards, knowing that if the princess told them that he tried to poison her then he would be beheaded the moment they found him.

Jasmine followed him in the shadows, not taking her yellow eyes off her prey. She moved as silently as she could. She watched as the man who had turned her into a snake woman opened the door to his lair and entered it, then quickly closed the door. She check that the cost was clear, then she used her claws to create a hole in the wall and once it was big enough she slithered into it and made her through the walls.

In his lair Jafar began to pack his stuff as Iago continued to rant as he pack his own case. Jasmine watch her prey from inside the wall, moving slowly to get as close as possible as she could. Her predator instincts where in full function as she got closer to the parrot.

"You couldn't just check her pulses before you left, could you?!" Iago shouted to his master. Jafar rolled his eyes and groaned as Iago continued to complain. "And what's more you real should have know that the bottle with the snake on it was not poison you stupid fu..." suddenly a scaly tail grabbed the red bird around his neck and pulled him up into the walls. Jafar turned around in confusion to why Iago had suddenly gone silent, then returned to packing up his things.

Iago gasped for air as the tail squeezed the life out of him as his face turned purple. His eyes looked at Jasmine with horror and fear as the serpent suffocated him. Then his eyes closed for the last time. Once the parrot was dead, Jasmine ate him and quickly and quietly slithered towards Jafar.

Jafar couldn't help but feel like he was being watch as he put the last of his things in his bag. Jasmine slowly moved towards him, making little noise as possible. Just as she got within striking range, Jafar noticed Jasmine's reflection in his golden snake staff. He grabbed his staff and quickly turned around just as the naga sprung to towards him. Jafar used the staff's hypnotic powers on the cobra lady just as she rapped her body around him.

The staff's red ruby eyes glowed and a bright orange-red spirals swirled around inside them. Jasmine's mind went blank as the spirals appeared in her slit, black pupils. She was under Jafar's complete control. He smiled and sighed in relief as the monster lost all will power.

"Good, now release me at once." he said between gasps.

Jasmine slowly began to uncoil her body off her master. Jafar gave a wicked smile. Now he had a naga on his side, one of the dangerous creatures in all of Agrabar, with this monster by his side no one could stop him. He would rule over the city with a scaly fist and would kill all who dared to challenged him.

Suddenly, Jasmine's tail accidentally knocked the staff out of his hands, he tried to grab it but it hit the floor and the head of the staff shattered, breaking the spell.

Jasmine shock her head as her mind returned. She let out an angry hiss at the man who dared to control her. Jafar began to run but Jasmine caught him around his waist with her powerful tail. She held him tightly as he begged for mercy. Jasmine's eyes began to show blue, green and white spirals. Jafar looked into her eyes and lost his train of thought as the naga hypnotized him.

Suddenly, the predator bit him on his left shoulder and ejected her powerful venom into his bloodstream. Jafar gasped for air as the venom destroyed his blood. Jasmine smiled as her prey life faded in front of her.

Jafar's eyes closed for the last time as he died. Then Jasmine unhinged her jaw and ate the man, who unbeknown to her, had killed her father and the young man she had met that day.

She looked around before using her claws to create another hole in the wall and slithered into it.
