The Blake Witch
Chapter 1
The Three Witches
Long ago, in a deep dark wood near a town in England, lived three witches named Victoria, Mary and Elvina. Victoria was the oldest of the three. She had grey, scruffy hair, green skin, a downward pointing nose with three warts, one on the left and two on the right side, a large outwards chin that had two hairs growing on it, sharp, black talons-like nails and. She wore a traditional black witch outfit with a black pointy hat. She cold, manipulative and would do whatever it took to get what she wanted.
Mary was a year younger then Victoria, but twice as ugly. She two had green skin but her scruffy hair was lime green. Her nose was like a hook with three warts on the left side and two warts on the right side, her grey nails where straight but sharp, her chin was long and had a circle of warts going around it. She also wore a traditional witch outfit, but hers was a dark grey and her hat curved at the end. Whilst she wasn't as cruel as Victoria she was still a horrible witch who enjoyed committing wicked acts.
Elvina was the youngest of the three. She had green skin just like the other two but her scruffy hair was black. Her nose was long and straight with only one wart on the right side, her nails whilst still sharp weren't as long as the other two and her chin whilst still outward was still small. Like the others she wore a traditional witch outfit, but hers was a very light grey and her hat whilst still long was not as pointy. Unlike the others she wasn't really wicked. She still enjoyed flying on brooms and making potions like any other witch, but she wanted to use her magic for good. Unfortunately that was easier said then done.
They terrorized the near by town, turning people into frogs, cursing them and killing their crops so that they had no food for the winter. Although Elvina would try to do as little as possible, feeling sorry for them, whilst Victoria and Mary could only laugh at the people's misery.
Then, one Halloween night as the witches went around doing their usual mayhem, a stranger came into the town. She a young woman with fiery red hair, green eyes, had an hour glass figure and wore a light blue. Although she looked like a normal human she was actually a sorceress named Hazel Helena and she had come to put an end the witches' mayhem. She stood in front of them as she spoke to them.
"Victoria, Mary and Elvina. You three have been found guilty of misuse of magic. Come quietly and you're punishment will be reduced, if you don't however you will face consequences of you're actions." Hazel said.
Elvina began to walk toward then she was stopped by Victoria. The oldest witch then spoke to the sorceress.
"You really think you can stop us?" Victoria said in her old scratchy voice. Hazel stared at them. Suddenly Victoria shot a fire ball towards the blue dressed woman. Hazel used her magic to create a shield to deflect the fireball. Mary than summoned a green fire ring around Hazel, the sorceresses summoned a cloud and rain fell out and put out the fire.
"Elvina! uses your magic, now!" shouted Victoria at the youngest witch.
Elvina hesitated for a moment not wanting to harm the woman. Mary glared at her and Elvina began to do a spell but before she could finish it, Hazel did her own spell and turned the three into stone. Victoria and Mary showed a face of anger, whilst Elvina showed a face of regret and sorrow.
The townspeople thanked the sorceresses for all she had done then she left. The witches remain as statues for over 1000 years. Mold grew over them and vines grew around them. During that time their story was considered nothing but an old folks tale. Then one night, three days before Halloween, the statue began to crack. Slowly at first then it quickened. Finally, when the town clock struck midnight the statue brock and the witches were free.
"Finally, after all these year, we're free." Victoria said then turned to Elvina. "No thanks to you." Victoria said in a bitter tone.
"Sorry, I didn't want to hurt her." Elvina said.
"Well thanks to you we were rocks for centuries." Mary shouted with a glare.
"I said I was sorry." Elvina said in guilt, looking down to ground.
"Well sorry doesn't change the fact that we were turned into stone. Who knows how much has changed since then." Victoria said. "On the bright side, that means that the sorceresses is long dead. We can return to are old ways without her stopping us again." she said with a cruel grin.
"But what if there's another?" asked Mary.
Victoria thought for a moment,. If there was another who could stop them, then they needed a way to destroyed them even if Elvina hesitated again. Then an idea came to her.
"We'll make turn a mortal woman into one of us, that why we can't be stopped." Victoria said.
"That's perfect." Mary said in an evilly glee tone.
"But, how are we going to convince someone to agree into become a witch?" Elvina asked.
"Who said will ask." Victoria said.
"I do. I will not turn a mortal into something else unless they agree to it." Elvina said crossing her arms over her chest.
Victoria groaned in frustration, but didn't bother to argue with the younger witch. In order for a potion to turn someone into a witch to work all three of them had to agree to do it.
"Fine. We make her agree to join us as part of our coven before we turn her into a witch." Victoria said begrudgingly. Then the three left to return to their cottage. To their surprise the cottage was still there, with a few vines growing around it. The three used their magic and the vines disappeared. They went in inside to clear their home before they left to find their new witch.
