Author's note: This story begins after Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather find Maleficent in the tower. All events of the film are the same up until this point.

This story gets darker in later chapters and could be disturbing for some readers.

Chapter 1

All According to Plan

"You poor, simple fools, thinking you would defeat me! Me! The mistress of all evil! Well, here's your precious princess!" Maleficent said reviling Aurora lying on the floor, laughing sinisterly as she so before disappearing. The three fairies went over to young woman who they had raised as if she was their own daughter.

"Rose!" Merryweather said in horror.

"Oh Rose!" Fauna said in sadness.

"I'll never forgive myself." Flora said, crying as she did so.

"We're all to blame." Fauna said.

The three of them took Aurora to her bed to await for true loves kiss. They were lucky as Merryweather's gift had save Aurora from death and had put her into an eternal sleep. But little did they know that this was all part of Maleficent's plan. She knew that the three would change her curse, as such she had come up with a different plan to get revenge on the King. One that no one would of in a millions years.

Outside, Diablo flew over the castle. Many people were in the courtyard, awaiting to see the return of their princess. The raven flew toward a shadowy area near the outskirts of the kingdom where his mistress was waiting for him. He gracefully land on her staff.

"Did you see them my pet?" Maleficent said stroking the crow. "Weren't they happy. After all these years they final got their princess back." She looked towards the room where the fairies were taking Aurora. "We don't want to disappoint them would we?" the raven nodded with an evil smirk which Maleficent returned. "Well then we better get her ready then, shouldn't we?" she said before she and Diablo disappear. They reappeared in the bed room and hide in a dark corner, waiting for the Flora, Fauna and Merryweather to put Aurora to bed then leave.

Phase one of her plan was complete soon her revenge would be complete. The kingdom would pay for her humiliation all those years ago and would be ruled by the mistress of evil, forever.
