Chapter 3

Cruelty of a Princess

Philip rode to cottage to meet Rose. Once he arrived he got off his horse and entered but nobody was home.

"Hello. Rose?" the prince said. He looked around the whole cottage but could find no one. Then he saw three small balls lights flying towards the cottage. He ran out of cottage and mace his way toward the lights. Once he got close enough the light turned into three fairies. They had heard from King Hubert just as he was falling a sleep, that Philip was the man that Aurora had met in the forest. Once they knew this they flew back to cottage where Aurora had agreed to met him.

"Are you Prince Philip?" Flora asked.

"Yes." Philip said, a little shocked to see the fairies.

"Good." Fauna said "Now quickly you must come with us."

"What's going on? Where's Rose?" the prince asked.

"Rose has be caused. She stuck in an eternal sleep until true loves kiss." Merryweather.

Philip quickly understood what he need to do. He got back onto Samson and rode-off as quickly as he could, following the the three faries, who had turn back into small balls of light, back to the castle to save Aurora.

Meanwhile, in her castle, Maleficent's minions were gaving into the throne room. Their mistress appeared in green flash with Aurora behind her.

"Evening my minions." Maleficent said. "Behold my successor." she move to the side to revile Aurora to them. The former princess now wore a black robe similar to that of Maleficent's.

"Her?" said a pig looking minion. "But she the princess. A sweet innocent princess."

Maleficent smiled at this as she knew that this would anger her successor. She step aside and Aurora walked towards the pig creature.

"You think I'm a sweet innocent princess?" Aurora asked "How quaint." she said with a chuckle. Then she blast the minion with her dark magic, turning him into a worm. Aurora pick him up and walked over to Diablo and feed the worm to the raven. She turn to rest of the minions.

"Anyone else like to say what I am?" the dark hearted woman asked. The minions looked at her in fear and silent. Afraid of what she would do to them.

"No? Good." Aurora said in stern and angrily tone. "Understand this well you pathetic creatures. That sweet innocent princess was a weak fool. I am a sorceress of darkness. The most powerful being in the world. Anyone who says other wise will end up like your friend. Understood." She glared at them with her yellow eyes. The dark brownish-green creatures trembled in fear at the former princess.

Maleficent was pleased. Aurora was just as cruel and heartless as a Mistress of Evil should be. An idea formed in Maleficent's head, one that would take care of her greatest enemies, permanently.

"I must say that you have be remarkable with your new title." Maleficent said whilst she stroked the raven.

"Indeed. One could say that I'm who I was always meant to be." Aurora in an evilly glee tone.

"Of course you have. Such a shame your aunties don't see it that way." Maleficent said.

Aurora face showed a neutral expression as her left eye twitch in annoyance.

"My aunts are fools. They once see what they wanted to see." Aurora said in cold voice.

"True, but they can also change people to be what they want them to be" Maleficent lied to her successor.

"Are you saying that they will try and change me back in to their precious little princess?" Aurora said raising her right eye brow.

Maleficent nodded. Aurora's expression slowly turned from neutral to an evil smile. "Maybe I should show them what I'm truly capable of." Aurora said in sinister but calm tone.

Maleficent smiled wickedly. After tonight Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather would be no more and light magic would finally be gone forever.
