Chapter 9

The Take over Begins

Outside the house, Toby and Henrietta were saying good bye as well the latter giving Velma and Shaggy some last minute flying lessons. Fred and Scooby didn't need them as both could fly, although Fred had decide that he would ride with Daphne on her broom as a bat. Daphne new witch abilities meant she already knew how to fly her broom.

"Good luck my friends." Toby said as they got on their brooms.

"Thanks everything you two." Daphne said as Delisle jumped on to her broom.

"Don't mention it. Now go." Henrietta said.

They flew off with Daphne cackling as they did so. They flew high in the sky, above the clouds. Daphne was still cackling gleefully.

"My, you really enjoy cackling do you?" Fred said in amusement, looking over her should.

Daphne smirked noticing where Fred was looking. "Enjoying the view, are we?"

"Maybe." Fred said sheepishly.

"You couldn't until later." Daphne said, flexing her eye brows. Fred blushed whilst the others giggled.

"Aw young love." Delisle said with a chuckle.

"Well you know about that don't you?" Velma said.

"Indeed I do." the cat said.

"By the way, why did you help those two get together?" Daphne asked.

"I noticed that they were in love with each other and they are my friends after all." Delisle said.

"Check it out Scoob. We're actually flying." Shaggy said.

"Rahoo!" Scooby said in excitement.

"So how far until we reach the castle?" Velma asked.

We should be there in about an hour." Delisle said.

"Like that's great. Well be back to normal in time for a midnight snack." Shaggy said.

"Rmm rmm, Ridnight rack." Scooby said, licking his lips. Causing the others to laugh, except Daphne who once again cackled.

They continued to fly above the Monster world and towards the castle to tell his majesty, unknown what was about to happen in the next few minutes.

Back in the mortal realm, Elizabeth was waiting impatiently for the king. She had set up a trap for him that way she could keep his daughters' magic and take his.

"Where the bloody hell is he." she said, tapping her foot as she did so.

Then a small golden glow entered her tent. When it landed it transformed into the king, who had an angry expression on his face.

"Your majesty. It such a pleasurer to see you again in person." Elizabeth said in a sarcastic tone.

"Don't play games with me Elizabeth. Where are my daughters?" Jeff asked in anger.

"Why their right here." she said show Jill, June and Jennifer tied up. They were trying to say something but with out their voice they couldn't say any thing.

"Give them back at once Elizabeth." Jeff demanded.

"Now, now your in no position to threaten me. After all how can you when your trapped." Elizabeth said. Then out of nowhere, serval ropes came out and tied up the king.

"Release me at once." he ordered.

"I will. After I take what is rightfully mine." Elizabeth said in a cold voice before she casted a spell. "Erutpac rekat cigam." and with that the king was shrunken down to the size of a butterfly and Elizabeth held him as she stole his magic. His daughters watched helplessly.

When she was finished he dropped to the ground, now in his human form.

"AT LONG LAST! I HAVE THE POWER TO RULE ALL!"Elizabeth said. Then she looked at the king and blasted a spell onto him that turned him into rabbit. Then she did the same to the princesses. Then she used her magic to change her outfit from that of a traditional magician's outfit to a black dress and her hat turned into a black crown.

Outside the tent, dark clouds began to form. The people in the carnival ground looked at each other in confusion, then a blast of red light came out of the tent and Elizabeth flew up from the hole, Whilst inside the tent the king comforted his daughters. The formatting rabbits at least they were safe, for now anyway.

"BEHOLD FOOLISHLY MORTALS! THE AMAZING ELIZABETH THE EMPRESS OF HALLOWEEN!"

The crowd looked in horror at the woman who they had laughed at was now an empress of darkness. The cruel woman smirked as she looked down at the humans. "BUT WHAT'S AN EMPIRE WITHOUT SERVANTS." The crowd looked at her and horror, some even gasped at her last statement, but Elizabeth didn't care for that.

"RETSNOM REVOEKAM, REVALS" Elizabeth said casting a spell on everyone in the carnival, turning them into her slaves and into monsters. Once the spell was complete the carnival ground was filled with various monsters including witches, vampires, werewolves, banshees and some sort of red hairy creature.

"All hail Elizabeth, all hail Elizabeth, all hail Elizabeth." the mindless monsters said as their empress laughed evilly. Whilst Jeff comforted his daughters

"WHO CAN STOP ME NOW!" Elizabeth shouted "WHO!"
