Chapter 10

Castle Trouble

Back in the Monster World, the gang could see the castle in distance. They began to descend to the forest floor, unlike Cervone, forest the fairy forest had a more welcoming atmosphere. The trees had lively green leaves and beautiful flowers covered the ground. Usually, the air would be filled with fairies but due to the resent event of tonight, they were ordered by their queen to stay inside until Elizabeth was defeated. The gang landed in an open area, although it was near the castle there was still a bit of walking to do.

"This places is beautiful." Velma said as she and the others got off their brooms.

"Like I'll say it is." Shaggy said as he looked at the town.

"Reah, reautiful." Scooby sad.

"Bit quiet though." Fred said as he turned back into his vampire form.

"Do you think they about what happened." Daphne asked in a whisper.

"Probably." Delisle said, as she hopped into the witch's arms.

They walked towards the large, grey, stoned castle. As they did they looked at the many colorful flowers and statues that covered the area. They where mesmerized by the many wonders that filled the fairy forest. Whilst Delisle had been to the forest several times before, she never got tired of looking at it. As the they got closer two balls of light came towards them. The balls landed in fronted of them and turned into two guards. The guard pointed their weapons at the gang. The guards wore golden armor and although they were in their fairy form, they were human size in order to deal with the unexpected guests.

"State your name and purpose." the guard on the left said.

"Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby." the vampire said.

"And the cat?" the guard on the right asked.

"Delisle." the with said, whilst giving a nervous smile.

The guard looked to each other and nodded. They lowered their weapons.

"Come with us." the left guard said.

The two guards lead the gang into the castle and to the throne room where the queen was waiting for Delisle to arrive.

"You're majesty." the bigger guard said. "We found these five in the forest."

"They claim that their cat is Delisle." the smaller guard said.

"Thank you Daws and Heather. You are excused." the kind hearted queen said.

"Thank you, your majesty." the guards said, then left the room.

Queen Jobi walked toward the gang and stopped just in front of them. Just like the other fairies in her kingdom she was in her fairy form but was human size.

"Delisle is that you." the queen asked the cat.

"Yes is it your majesty." Delisle said.

"I take it that Elizabeth did this to you?" Queen Jobi said.

"That would be correct." the cat said.

"Delisle, please tell me she didn't take your magic as well." the queen said.

"Unfortunately, she did." the cat said.

"Oh no." Queen said.

"I know. Without my magic, I can't stop Elizabeth that why we came to ask his majesty for help." Delisle said.

"I'm afraid his already left to get our daughters." Queen Jobi said.

"Ro ro." Scooby said.

"Forgive me for not asking sooner. Who are you five?" Queen Jobi asked the gang.

"My name is Fred. This is my girlfriend Daphne and these our friends Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby." the vampire said with a bow. The others bowed as Fred introduced them.

"I don't think I've seen you before." the queen said.

"Their mortals your majesty. They came to shop and I offered them the chance to be monsters." Delisle explained to the queen.

"I see. Well I'll try and change you all back to normal." the queen said.

"Thank you your majesty." the werewolf said.

"Don't mention." the queen said, but before see could reverse the spell, the sound of a warning horn was hear.

"She here, quickly Delisle, you and the other hide whilst I'll try and stop Elizabeth." Queen Jobi said.

"Of course your majesty." Delisle said as she lead the others to a room for to hide a waited until it was safe.

Outside, floating in the air near the top of castle, Elizabeth waited for her majesty to arrive. Queen Jobi came to the top of her home and walked towards the evil sorceress. The queen had her magic ready just incase Elizabeth tried to attacker. Several guards stood next to her.

"WELL, WELL HER MAJESTY HAS CAME TO SPEAK TO ME PERSONALLY!" Elizabeth said in a mocking tone.

"This is your last chance Elizabeth. Release my family and return your stolen magic to there respective owners right now or face the consequences of your actions." Queen Jobi said, but Elizabeth just gave a fake yawn.

"YOU REALLY THINK I'M GOING TO GIVE UP THE VERY THING I'M TRY TO REGAIN FOR NEARLY THIRTY YEARS?!" Elizabeth said in a cold tone.

The Queen glared at the dark hearted woman. Elizabeth than gave a wicked smirk.

"I DON'T ABOUT YOU, BUT I THINK IT'S TIME FOR A NEW QUEEN!" Elizabeth said. Then blast some magic at the queen, who blocked it with her own magic.

Several guards tried their best to take down Elizabeth with their own magic, but the sorceress' magic was just too powerful for theirs's to compete with. With one quick swipe of her hand, her magic knocked down fifty guards. The queen tried her best to keep the shield up. Then, Queen Jobi shoot a blast of magic at Elizabeth. It knocked the sorceress into a spin, but Elizabeth quickly regard her ground blasted another shot of magic at the queen.

Meanwhile, the gang where hiding in small room. The room was lit by only a single touch and had one small window. As they hid, Scooby looked out the window and saw a blue light on the ground. Scooby pointed Shaggy to get the bestia's attention. Shaggy turned and looked to where the dragon was pointing. Then from out of portal came several of the mind controlled monsters.

"Zoi.." he was about to say before Velma covered his mouth. She, Fred, Daphne, and Delisle turned to the window and saw the monsters coming towards the castle. The gang stayed silent, hoping that they would not be found. Two of the monsters, a banshee and and troll walked through the castle and stopped out the door. The troll ripped off the door and the two grabbed the gang before any of them had a chance to do anything. Then they began to walk to the top of the castle.

Meanwhile, the queen and the sorceress continued their fight, in which the former seemed to be gain the advance. Elizabeth was now on the castle's tower floor, trying to get the upper hand. Unbeknownst to her majesty, a large red monster had just came up to the top of the castle. It walk towards her and grabbed her. She tried to free herself, but to no avail. Elizabeth smirked as she walked towards the queen, then stopped just in front of her.

"YNNUB NOITAMROFSNART, CIGAM EVOMER" she said casting a spell on to the queen, which turned her highness into a rabbit.

"I MUST SAY THAT IS QUITE THE IMPROVEMENT JOBI!" Elizabeth said to the rabbit as several other mind controlled monsters grabbed the guards holding them hostage.

Just then the troll and the banshee came up with Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, Scooby and Delisle in chains. Elizabeth walked towards them with a cruel smile.

"OH ISN'T THIS JUST WONDERFUL. YOU POOR SIMPLE FOOLS THOUGHT YOU COULD STOP ME?" the evil woman said in a cold voice.

"You won't with this Elizabeth!" Daphne said.

"BUT I ALL READY HAVE. THE ROYALS ARE NOTHING BUT RABBITS, YOU FIVE ARE NOW MY PRISONERS AND MY SISTER IS JUST A LITTLE PUSSYCAT." Elizabeth said.

"Elizabeth, please. Let them go. You can whatever you want to me but leave the others alone." Delisle pleased.

"I'M AFRID I CAN'T DO THAT DELISLE, ESPESSAILLY AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO ME." Elizabeth said to her sister then turned to banshee and troll. "TAKE THEM TO DUNGEON."

The banshee and troll nodded and lead the prisoners to the dungeon, whilst Elizabeth took the other monsters under her control and the guard back to the mortal realm.
