Chapter 9
Returning to Normal
The true Goblin King picked up his scepter and turned back into his normal form. Then using the magic of the scepter he undid all of Krudsky's chaos. All over Coolsville the citizens were turned back to normal. The were-cheetah was turned back into a normal woman, who was very confused why she was on all fours, the swamp monster was reverted back into drunk man who bumped after it was done and a two undead monsters were turned back into a romantic pair of loves who hadn't noticed the change that had happen to them as they watched the movie. The mystery machine was turned back to normal, as a regular vehicle.
Back at the carnival, Fred, Daphne and Velma were turned back to normal as well. They put their hands on their head felling a little dizzy from the transformation. Then Daphne ran over to a nearby bin to vomit as her mortal stomach could not handle the things she had eaten as a witch. Then Fred and Velma did the same.
"Yes I had a bad monster lunch." Shaggy said to his friend.
"Reah rad runch" Scooby said as Mr. Gribbles, who was now a human again, came to them.
"Well done my young visit thanks to you Halloween has been saved."
"Like don't mention it." Shaggy said.
Krudsky looked up towards the Goblin King. "Your majesty I hope you understand that this all a joke." he said in a nervous chuckle.
"Trick or treat." the king said.
"No!" Krudsky screamed as the Goblin King used his create a golden ball of electricity.
"Princess Willow... the trouble you have caused this night is inexcusable." The Goblin King shouted.
"I know. And I'm sorry, Daddy." Willow said.
"Huh? Daddy?" the gang said in surprise.
"I shouldn't have snuck out early, and I'll never do it again, I promise." the princess said.
"As of now, you are officially grounded for one year. But I'm awfully glad to have you back, my little princess." the king said to his daughter.
"So...all's forgiven, then? Huh?"
"I won't get a head of ourselves." the king said. Krudsky gulped at what the king was implying.
"Goodbye my friends." Mr. Gibbles said.
"Goodbye." Shaggy and Scooby said as they waved goodbye to Mr. Gibbbles as he rode broomy back to the supernatural realm.
"Like this will be a night to remember." Shaggy said.
"You five shall remember this night but all others must forget." The Goblin King. Then using his magic he took Krudsky and the other goblins back to their world leaving the gang in complete shock. As the sun rose in the morning sky, all mortals except the Mystery Gang forgot about the events of last night. To them it was just a normal Halloween. The young couple did remember their date but as humans not as monsters.
"Well tonight was certainly… something." Velma said still shocked about the supernatural being real and the fact she had be a werewolf.
"You can say that again." Fred said still getting over the shock of being a vampire.
"I don't think I'll be able to eat apples again." Daphne said as she remembered the rotten one she ate as a witch.
"Sounds like you guys had a ruff night." Shaggy said as they walked back to the van.
"It was." Velma said.
"Well there were some nice moments." Fred said looking towards Daphne as she smiled back.
"Sorry for calling you a mutt early Scooby." Daphne said in guilty tone.
"It's okay you won't yourself and you said it anyway." Scooby said.
They got in the van and drove off as Shaggy and Scooby explain their adventure to others and Fred, Daphne, and Velma explained what they did during their time as monsters.
