A/N: Okay, I hope you people liked this. This chapter is sort of an OVA chapter focusing on Raku and his philosophy and was written by his creator animeak116. I'm only posting it on my account because it is based in my fanfic universe.

Frederick held his child in his hands. Naomi was so small yet held his gloved finger in her hands. It was like a vice grip. So fragile yet so strong. Her eyes wandered about the halls he traveled in; she tussled a bit in his arms. He didn't look down until he saw a tiny hand touch his visor. He looked down and saw that her eyes began to water. He continued his walk down the hall as he gently swayed Naomi to giggle. Keeping her happy was all he cared about now. He then reached a door. The top part was pulled back to see a daycare center labeled "Babysitters club". Baby's and toddlers too young to be by their parent's side in classrooms lay in cribs or played with the toys provided. A kid no older than maybe sixteen came by and noticed Frederick.

"Oh, Raku, I see that you brought Naomi." The kid stated as he walked over to take Naomi.

"Likewise Ryuichi." Frederick replied, handing Naomi carefully to the boy. "Where's Usadia? Isn't he supposed to help you with the kids?"

"Oh he's taking a nap," Ryuichi replied.

"One moment," Frederick stated as he walked in closing the door behind him.

Some five of the small toddlers looked in awe at Fredericks's sheer height of him.

"No wait Raku you don't need to do anything!" Ryuichi replied, stammering and scared as to what he was gonna do to the sleeping man with pink here named Usadia.

"Hay Taka whos that!?" Said the one girl of the five toddlers.

"I don't know Kirin! But it looks like Usadia is in big trowble." The boy Taka replied.

"What do you think, Kotaro!?" One of the two twins said.

The boy named Kotaro looked at Frederick and walked to the tv where a play box 360 was and pulled out a game that said "Halo: Star Wars Evolved". And then pointed at the front cover with a fully armored man holding a rifle while climbing over some rubble.

"You think he's the Mawster Chwef Kotaro-san!?" Kirin said.

The small boy only nodded. The other four kids smiled and they all had an idea. Frederick meanwhile walked up to a sleeping pink-haired man with an apron that had the name Usadia on it. He held a book in his hand all the while a small newborn much like Naomi was crawling all over him in an unsafe manner. Frederick gently picked the small child off of the man and placed her on the sterilized mats so she could crawl away. The five toddlers then stood a good ten feet away from him as Ryuichi was trying to calm the situation down.

"Raku! Please, you don't need to!" The young teen replied.

"Why not Ryu-san?" Said a boy behind him.

"Kamitani! Why are you not helping!"

Then the moment of truth. Frederick then slapped the back of Usadia's head. Of course with reduced strength but enough to shock the man awake.

"OI WHAT THE HECK!" Usadia started rubbing the back of his head. That is till he stared into the visor of Fredericks helmet. It was as if Death came early to collect his soul. "Ah….Raku-san…"

"Mind telling me why you're asleep while on post?" Frederick stated more than questioned along with releasing some killing intent which also scarred the other five toddlers.

"Takuma-ni I'm scared." Said one of the twins.

"Same Kazuma-ni!" Said the other twin.

"Eh...well you see I ah...stayed up late last night…" Usadia stumbled upon his words.

"Doing what?" Frederick stated.

"I was cooking late because work has kept me busy."

"Fine...I'll let it slide...for now.." Frederick replied as he then turned to Kamitani and Ryuichi. "I'll be back by the end of the day."

Frederick then walked to the door.

"Another mission Raku-san?" Ryuichi asked

"No...just...class...Good day gentlemen." Frederick replied as he left.

Naomi started to look sad in Ryuichi's arms and buried her face into the teen's chest. As if knowing that her father was in pain and was hiding it. Ryuichi noticed this and smiled.

"It's ok Naomi-chan. He'll be back before you know it!" He said to cheer her up.

"I don't know, I like him. Especially since he has the guts to punch Usadia." The boy Kamitani stated.

"KAMITAN that's not funny!" Ryuichi stated.

Causing Kamitani to only smirk at Ryuichi. Which sadly caused the other four toddlers other than Kotaro to start crying.

Usadia let out a sigh"It's gonna be a long day today." he thought, rubbing his head.

Frederick walked down the hall however something seemed different, the walls seemed to have been slowly conforming to a familiar bunker. His eyes widened as he stopped. And his gaze befell a body. No more like a rotting corpse. It was standing upwards. And it wore familiar armor. The helmet looked cracked and a hole showed an eye. An amber cloudy eye.

"Why my love…." the creature said. A female voice gutturally spoke.

"No no this isn't real," Frederick stated to himself.

"Do you still deny that my death is not your fault!?" It basically shouted.

"It was out of my control, what else could I have done?"

"So my death was in vain...I thought you of all people would want to hunt that monster down and make him suffer!" The talking corpse said before disappearing.

Frederick held his head in pain. He grunted in frustration.

"Every Fucking day!" He thought to himself.

He then calmed down and continued walking down the hall. His tightened eyes softened at a window. Walking to it he looked out to the city of Vale. His "new" home. Something he was still trying to get used to. But he couldn't help it. He was always thinking, but sometimes that opened up to many wounds to close and have a mental breakdown.

And he sure as hell doesn't want to be forced on meds and taken out of service like he was back in Atlas.

3 days after final mission for Atlas

The armored man looked out at Atlas and Mantle. His helmet's red visor reflected the glossy sunlight. His shoulders slumped as the small noise of an infant breathing against him as her ears pressed against his metallic back listening to the hum of his energy shield reactors as if it was his heart beat. An artificial heartbeat. But her small soul couldn't tell the difference. At least not yet.

Even though his gaze was toward Atlas and Mantel. His eyes under his helmet looked beyond them. Hoping. Praying even. For any sign of her. And every time he thought of her. His heart tightened like a bear trap that snares its prey. A door opened and in came a man he knew too well. Someone he respected and didn't need to worry about. But tilted his head in acknowledgment.

"Mind if I join you?" The man spoke softly.

The man's helmet looked back as his body twisted as well. The armored man looked at the older man's form. He wore a white officer's uniform and a standard military haircut. Though he had a bit of gray on the sides showing his age a little. His black eyes showed a bit of mirth in them. Though a little metal strip was on the right side of his forehead for his prosthetic arm as a means of controlling it via neural interlace like that of how his armor worked like that of a second skin.

"Of course not sir." the soldier replied.

He gave a salute as to respect his rank and age of the man. General Ironwood himself gave him this new purpose of life. Well, former purpose Atlas decommissioned him and then dishonorably discharged him for the failure of his mission he had trained for nearly half of his life, since his village was destroyed and his family and friends were ripped violently from him at a young age.

The old general saluted back in a quick manner and the armored soldier dropped his just as quickly. He then walked up to his side as they watched the ship they were on-orbit route around but the general knew he was looking beyond the two great cities.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" he started. "The co-existence of Atlas and Mantel. I grew up in the slums before the Faunus Civil war 30 years ago. Went from the bottom to the top rather quickly due to my skill and will to continue forward."

The silence permeated loudly like a vice. The general sighs.

"Captain, I won't pretend to know what you're going through. I mean I've lost people I care about but not in the same way you're going through." Ironwood said.

"Our duty. As soldiers, it is to protect the innocent. No matter the cost." the armored soldier replied.

He took a breath and replied.

"You say that as if soldiers and the innocent are two different things when it's not. I'm half robotic but Soldiers are not machines. They're people." The general replied.

The soldier's helmet looked to his side before looking back beyond the view of the cities.

"I'll let you two have the deck to yourself." the general said as he walked out of the observation deck.

"She said that to me once. About being a machine," he said lowly.

Kamitani looked out of the room and into the hallway. Stepping out he noticed Frederick finally out of some form of shock or day dream. Like usual.

"I'm fine." Raku stated to the stoic boy.

"No you're not fine. What you need is to lay off the psycho meds. That's what you need." He replied not buying the armored boy's reply.

"Yea...fuck." was all Raku replied with as he walked away to his dorm

0000

An alarm clock rang at the ripping sound of 8 am. Rubbing her amber eyes open Maira saw that Frederick was gone and a crib by his bed was empty. She sighs getting out of bed and starts combing her hair. Her Silver locks coming apart from her bed hair syndrome going back to its elegant shoulder length. The Yellow hair dye at the tips matching her cat-like eyes in color due to her Faunus heritage ever so clearly. Her ears moved a bit up and down making sure they didn't stick to her head.

Hector for some reason was still in bed and Uldren had already gone through a shower and was getting his school uniform on. She then went to the restroom to shower as well and quickly sensed she's a more practical lady than one who spends hours getting ready for a date like Weiss Schnee. After showering away her bed sweat and getting into her own school uniform.

That's probably one of only three things she ever was grateful for her father for. Not that she'd ever uttered those words to that bastard. Not to mention the odd stares that she'd often get because of the "publicity" of being "his" offspring. Being a Faunus. She can handle the name-calling and the teases for milk or fish for the little Neko girl. But what she hated was being compared to HIM. She then did perfume and smaller hygiene touch-ups before exiting the restroom.

"Hector, get up, classes start in 40 minutes." She said firmly.

"Already tried that cousin. He's not budging."

She sighs at that.

"We're going to be late." She mutters

That's when the door opened and their leader was standing there. His visor looked as if he was staring into their souls. It was weird. His head then turned to Hector who was still sleeping. He walked over to him and did the same thing that Uldren and Maira did.

"Hector Get up, classes start soon," Frederick stated.

He only heard a groan.

"Alright then."

Frederick then pulled out a pistol and fired several rounds into the air. Though thankfully they were blanks. Hector however woke up instantly from that.

"What the hell was that for mate!?" Hector stated.

"You failed to wake up at the alarm to get ready for class. Now get up and get ready if you're not done in ten minutes, I will do it for you and I will not be gentle." Frederick replied.

"Gayyyy...OW!" Hector stated when he tried to make a joke.

"Try that one more time and you're going to be in the sun for a while," Frederick replied as he walked out of the room.

"Well that was...eventful," Uldren said aloud.

"Jeez, what woke him up with a stick up his ass? It's like Atlas military training won't let him be at ease or something!" Hector stated, nursing his head.

"I mean I would have thrown a bucket of water on you if he didn't show up." Uldren teased.

"Not funny and I would have slept through that given I lived on a ship for most of my life," Hector replied with a toothy smile.

"Well better get dressed or suffer another loud noise," Maira said flatly.

Hector then got out of bed and went to his dresser and started taking off his clothes. Only to get his shirt thrown back at him.

"AT LEAST DO IT IN THE BATHROOM OR WHEN I'M GONE!" Maira shouted before exiting the room, her cheeks flushed in embarrassment.

"She likes me," Hector stated smugly.

"No, she doesn't," Uldren replied back before leaving as well.

"Everyones a critic." Hector sighs, finishing getting his uniform on.

Though he had no real white undershirt, the tie was unkempt, and his outer jacket was unbuttoned.

00000

He sat in his chair waiting for the guest to arrive again. The elevator dinged with a bell chime and the door opened revealing Fredericks form. His steps echoed to the middle of the room.

"You wanted to see me again sir?" He asked.

His hands held behind his back in a parade rest position. Ozpin nodded and stood up. Pressing a few buttons the screen shows three White Fang insurgents on the wanted list that was just recently uploaded to the bounty registry.

"These insurgents have been spotted in this old military warehouse a lot more recently. We believe it to be a White Fang staging area for supplies such as arms and ammunition. This is a search and destroy mission and stealth is important. So please try not to leave any bodies." Ozpin replied.

"No promises sir," Frederick stated.

"Right…" Ozpin sighed. "But this mission will take place after classes have concluded for the day, is that clear?"

"Crystal sir." Frederick replied. "Is that all?"

"No, In fact I wanted to give you this." Ozpin stated holding out a piece of paper.

It was an excuse slip for not being in the Beacon Academy uniform. He nodded and left for class. Though he had to admit. He didn't feel comfortable in another uniform. Would he use a uniform? He would if a specific event called for it. But for such activities like at the school. He felt safer in his armor then out of it. Far too many surprise attacks gave him this odd mindset. Many would complain about having to wear their armor in the Atlas army infantry or what have you, but to him it was being naked without it.

But he just walked down the hall to his first class with his team. The first three classes were uneventful as they were standard Valen Basic Language, Science, and Mathematics.

His teammates paid him no mind to being in his armor. Though the other students just looked at him like he was an anomaly. Which he was but that didn't bother him. Next to last after the only "interesting class" was History.

After that was the final class on….was grim studies with professor Port. Which also was uneventful and sadly boring to everyone in class. Frederick himself wondered why on earth is this old fossil of a story teller even here if he's not even going to teach anything through his vague retelling of his youth.

Honestly, his classes with Carol learning Tactical read outs, maps, and even counter insurgency seems like a more interesting class than Ports horrid tales. In fact he just went fantasizing about just choking out some of his incompotent commanders that cost him the lives of his men. Be it bashing their skulls in or just shooting them execution style. Then he heard the final bell for the day.

He got up and walked out to avoid his team and other acquaintances. Maira took notice and looked to her cousin and teammate and decided to follow as Hector tried convincing him to let him copy his notes only to get smacked upside the head. Uldren noticed his cousin following his team leader. Hector rubbed his head to ease the pain. Looking towards Maira following Frederick he was about to follow but was held back by Uldren.

"What are those two doing?" Hector stated.

"Just leave them be, they'll talk it out." Uldren stoically stated while dragging him to their dorm.

"BUT I WANNA KNOW!"

"Apparently the idea of privacy needs to be beaten into you." Uldren mutters at Hector's childish reaction.

However no one noticed another set of eyes looking at them.

0000

Maira followed close by while also keeping note of her footsteps just in case Frederick could try listening in to make sure he wasn't followed. Hiding behind a pillar near the Armory, she watched as her team leader placed his scroll over the lock. Normally at this time as per protocol the Armory master keeps watch but doesn't let anyone check out their weapons. Which is about 6PM unless told otherwise on weekends.

For some reason the armory master was gone. And the master lock let him in...strange. He opened the door wide to accommodate his frame. Giving her enough room to stealth roll into the armory. The lines of lockers could have been a maze had she not known how to navigate in the dark. She poked her head from her hiding spot as she went from locker to locker. Keeping an eye on her suspicious team leader.

"What's up Maria!?" Stated a voice behind Maria.

Maira immediately nearly slammed a hidden knife into the person's neck if. But the minute she turned around she saw Naomi Siren standing there. Surprised even that Fredericks' team mate wouldn't have a second thought at killing someone. She stopped the knife from nearly puncturing her neck and Naomi fell on her curvy ass. Which didn't make a sound. But her back slammed into a locker which did make a sound.

Frederick heard the shuffling behind the lockers and he pointed his pistol in their general direction. She put her knife away and put a hand over the bluenetts mouth. Frederick moves his pistol in accordance to where he was looking. Checking every corner as he listened for another sound. Maira closed her eyes and kept a death grip on the girl's mouth. Then the footsteps went away.

She let out a sigh and looked at Frederick getting his weapon and attaching it to his survival backpack. He left to the ammo depot to grab several rectangular boxes of 7.62 belt links and put them in his pack as well. He then left the Armory.

With a sigh Maira let go of a breath she held as she let go of the bluenette. She then crossed her arms at her.

"What the hell were you thinking?!" Maira shouted.

"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't anticipate that!" Naomi replied with a sorrowful expression.

Maria looked at Naomi questioningly and her body language practically screamed. She was surprised.

"Do you have any idea what I could have done!? I could have gutted your throat open!" She let out a frustrated sigh like that of a disappointed mother. "Haven't your parents told you to never surprise someone, especially at this school? Because not everyone grew up happy go lucky like you did in the suburbs."

Maira turned away with a sigh. Her hand shook a little as she held it close to her chest. Naomi couldn't understand the problem at all.

"I'm sorry, I just thought it would have been a fun surprise." Naomi replied.

Maria just shook her head at Naomi's naive response.

"Look, Naomi was it? I could have sliced open your throat or worse with how Raku reacted we both could have been killed by him by accident." She stated as she walked to her weapons locker. "Especially since I was following him by sticking to being out of sight."

Naomi raised an eyebrow at the latter part of that.

"Wait, you were following him?" Naomi replied.

Maira just got out of her school uniform and into her combat clothing before she started getting her armor on.

"Yea, he was acting more off than usual today. So I'm going to find out what's going on. Especially because it seems Headmaster Ozpin seems to be the reason he skips classes sometimes or comes back to the dorm late." She said.

Grabbing her rifle she put it on her back as picked up the final piece of kit for her armor. Het helmet, it had an odd antenna on the right side as the glass visor was purple like the rest of the armor. The only color contrast was the soft eggshell bluish white pants and light purple undershirt over the black body glove.

Placing her helmet over her head, she activated a visor function to track Rakus IFF tage without him or his suits systems knowing she was on the prowl. When she was done she looked to her right to see Naomi in her own combat gear with her weapon.

"What are you doing?" Maira questioned.

"Making sure you don't hurt my friend." Naomi replied.

"Like I'd ever do that."

However there was still doubt in Naomi's mind as they ran to catch the next air ship. Maira looked through her visor searching for her teammate. It took a few minutes but eventually her armor system picked up Rakus armor IFF tag. However what confused her was that he was in an old rundown area of Vale. More specifically the military district that hasn't been used in almost a century. Naomi got curious at Maria's sudden change.

"What's the matter?"

"Raku's at the old military district. There's nothing there other than addicts and slimy petty criminals."

"Yeah, my parents told me to be wary of that part of town growing up. That is strange, but maybe he found some cheaper ammo or something that could be on the black market that he might need? His armor is rare but might need common components." Naomi rationalizes.

Maira shook her head no.

"I doubt it, I've seen him get calls from an officer from Atlas and from the looks of it if he needed anything he could ask judging by their relationship." Maira replied. "Just keep on your toes and you'll be fine."

Naomi nods as the airship lands at the port. They ran to the old military district which took a bit of time especially to not get any questions from local civilians. As they followed Mairas' NAV ping to Rakus location. The more and more they noticed that people weren't walking about in the slums. In fact they looked frightened. As if a whirlwind had torn through the streets.

"Is everyone…" Naomi started.

"Scared...yea.." Maira replied.

"What could have…" Naomi started before seeing why.

Dead bodies littered the ground as they turned the corner. The smell and stench of death seeped its way into her nose, covering her mouth in shock and tears well up in her eyes. Maira on the other hand didn't have the same reaction. In fact she just strode up to one of the bodies on the floor and started searching the body. The garbs are that of the Vale WhiteFang movement. However this member was missing his head and the neck stump was seared black as if by a hot blade. She then looked back to Naomi who was trying to hold herself together from the stench and gruesome sight as she felt dizzy and fell to her knees. She then got up from her position and walked over to her. Rubbing her back to ease her.

"Can you walk?"

Naomi nodded as she stood up using her weapon as a crutch. Maira then looked through one of her pouches, she then pulled out a gas mask. And handed it to her, while putting it on the goggles lit up. Showing how much ammo she had on her and her weapon details. It also censored the bodys on the floor and filtered out the stench of death.

"This is an odd piece of tech." Naomi replied.

Maira nods.

"Let's just keep moving." She replied.

As they walked down the street they stopped at what looked like an empty motor pool with dome shaped buildings.

"Well this is it. And more dead bodys. Raku was definitely here if this was his work." Maira said as she looked at all the bodys. The grunts' bodies lay undisturbed however she noticed the higher ranking members' heads were taken..

"But this doesn't make any sense, what use does Raku have for the heads?" Naomi replied, scared of the answer.

"I only know one type of person that collects heads like this. Bounty Hunters, they operate like us huntsmen, however are not 'morally inclined'. We appear to be too late to reach Raku, let's just…"

Before she could finish the sentence Naomi and her were blown back by a large explosion that nearly blew the roof off the building causing it to collapse. Maira shook her head and picked up her weapon

"Let's get out of here." Maira stated to Naomi.

She didn't move from her spot on the concrete. To shell shocked at the destruction and death that surrounded her. Her breathing staggered as Maira got closer to her.

"Naomi?" She stated.

That still didn't stop her from staring in shock. She couldn't comprehend this at all. She was then shaken out of her shock by Maira.

"We have to go! NOW!" she stated.

Naomi nodded as she got up as well. They both ran back to the airship port and got on the next one to Beacon. Naomi looked out the window next to her. The smoking motor pool is still in her sight from a distance. Maira was indifferent.

"Did Raku cause all that death and chaos?" Naomi mutters lowly.

"We won't know till we ask him. But even then I don't think he'll want to talk about it." Maira replied. Though it was clear in her tone she wasn't trying to belittle her state of mind. It was something different...it felt more...depressed.

Naomi nodded in reply, her eyes fell upon the warrior before her. Maira changed almost instantly after seeing the dead bodys like she had. Did she...was she numb to that?

"Maira…"

"Yes?"

"Have you…" she couldn't say it. Not so bluntly.

Maira only nodded solemnly.

"I've seen death before...both giving it and seeing the aftermath of it…" she replied.

She then looked out her window to stare at nothing. Like she was remembering something personal. Her hands balled into fists before releasing a sigh. Naomi couldn't help look down. Unable to say anything. As they walked off the air ship it was silent between the two girls. They then snuck into the armory to place their weapons and gear back. Even on their way back to the dorms it was silent as a tomb. Pun intended.

Soon they reached their respective doors but Naomi couldn't help but feel something in her gut. Like it was crying in fury. The minute Maira opened her door Naomi stepped past her to see Raku. Little Naomi was asleep. And Raku stood over his desk. His weapon is in pieces as if doing maintenance. His ears caught the door opening and he turned to them.

"Maria you're late," he then looked at Naomi. "What do you need Naomi?"

"Sorry, but...we saw you in the ghettos of the old military district and...saw the dead bodys…" Maira replied, hesitant in what she was saying.

"So that was you in the armory earlier." He asked.

They both nodded.

"So what, you think I'm a monster for killing a bunch of terrorists?" He asked.

"They were misguided!" Naomi stated.

Maira saw the air was tense and decided to let the two deal with it themselves as she walked into the bathroom.

"Misguided? MISGUIDED!?" he nearly shouted, however he kept his voice low due to the infant in the crib.

"Those animals were going to kill a detective with no remorse. They were trying to beat information out of him! If I hadn't stepped in they would have put a bullet in his head and left him in a ditch somewhere."

Naomi was floored at that.

"Still there are other ways! Death doesn't need to be the first choice!"

"Your right...except they made it their choice." He then turned back to his weapon.

Naomi was struggling to comprehend it all.

"Tell me Naomi. What would you have done?"

She looked at his back with a hardened conviction.

"I would have used my sonic scream to immobilize them and called the police, and I definitely wouldn't have taken their heads as some sort of messed up trophy." She replied.

He shook his head.

"It would have taken the police 15 minutes to get to that location. Not because they don't care mind you but with what was there they would've needed a strike force. And by then one of them could have gotten the jump on you and either sliced your throat open. Or knocked you out, retreated and done much much worse to you. Besides, even then they'll always be back on the streets." Raku then took a moment to process the last part of her sentence "Wait, you thought I took their heads.

"Yeah when we found them. That was just sick." Naomi replied.

"Whoa, whoa, I mean yeah I killed them, however I did not take their heads, I swear on my baby girl. Someone must have took their heads after I've done their dirty work for them." Raku rationalised.

"And who do you think would do that" Naomi asked.

"Not sure, however one thing I know about bounty hunters is when it comes to faunus, rather than taking heads they rather take their….. Animal trait. Either because they're either racist or because it's easier to transport, most likely the latter given how Vale is." Raku said.

"That is sick" Naomi said horrified.

"Yeah, even though their methods are less than... comforting, all though if they slay that white fang scum I don't really care what they do to them." Raku said.

"That's just it, yes they're criminals but they should have at least been given a fair trial, not slaughtered like the animals a lot of humans see them as!" Naomi yelled, nearly triggering her sonic scream.

He gives a sigh.

"Why do I even bother trying to get you to understand."

"To understand what?" She demanded.

"Sometimes you need to take a life to spare a life." Frederick replied.

"Is that what you're going to teach your daughter?"

Naomi felt the air shift as if it was hard to breathe.

"Don't ever do that again Naomi." He stated. His voice was low but the power he put behind those words made Naomi's spine shiver.

"Do what exactly?" She eeped out.

"Don't, Don't bring my daughter into affairs not hers or YOUR own just to satisfy your ego."

He then turned back to her.

"But to answer your question. Yes, if the White Fang insurgency continues as is. Because I for one don't want a repeat of what I lost." He stated.

"That won't happen, we have Huntsman throughout the City!"

"Yet they turn a blind eye to the suffering of the people within it. Gang violence, drug dealing, ect ect. You honestly think they step so low as to even attempt to stop those things? Your type of optimism gets people killed, both the individual and the people they were charged with protecting. That's why people outside the city walls prefer justice or vengeance through bounty hunters and favor their militias for defenses."

Naomi felt sick to her stomach listening to him. It was as if she couldn't feel anything but...no...not feel, she couldn't understand him.

"If that's what you feel then, why are you here?" She asked. She was nearly on the verge of tears for a person she thought of as a friend.

"I didn't choose to be here. To do what's right it's hidden by politicians and bureaucracy. Yinsen knows that, like me. A Huntsman license just makes you a glorified mercenary."

He then turns to her. His eyes looked dead, no tired, as if burdened by untold sin.

"I'm here because the spineless masses forced me to be here."

he turns away from her with a sigh.

"Just….leave me be."

Naomi's eyes watered as she turned to leave the room. Slamming the door shut.

"You know you probably lost a friend." His AI companion stated in his mind.

"Maybe….I'm built and bred for war… not socializing with Civilians."

"You could have been a little nicer."

"Sugar coating reality is often not advised. Besides those pills Glynda gave me only help with sleeping not the nightmares"

Maira heard Naomi leave from the bathroom thanks to her cat ears. She felt bad for Raku being rather blunt with her. But then again he was obviously a Soldier through and through so bluntness would always be a factor to him. But cold if not robotic responses. Whatever the case she'll talk about it in the morning with him. She hoped...no prayed even that he'd be willing to just chat.

End

A/N: Okay I hope you've enjoyed this OVA chapter, again this has been mainly from animeak116 delving into Raku and what kind of character he is. I apologise if it was graphic, however it does set a tone for future interactions with Raku and the others. Oh man, interactions with him and Naomi are going to be awkward. I also wanted to explore the fact that not all huntsmen in RWBY are righteous, some of them do actually become criminals themselves.

Anyway, hopefully I'll be posting more content this year. Till next time everybody
