Chapter 6: arena and jealousy
four years later...
Beni's POV:
its been four years later and I turned 11 years old, me and the others were minding our own business until we were summoned to the exiled tenkai village and we went to the portal and made it to quarton.
On quarton
Beni as venetta POV:
we find our selfs in an arena there were crowds cheering for us then appeared the exiled guardians the pink exiled guardian aurora, the orange exiled guardian Pompeii, the black exiled guardian nexus, the purple exiled guardian Vega, and the white exiled guardian Olympus. They were honoring us as future protectors of the exiled village. Exiled guardian Olympus then spoke to the crowd " we are gathered here to honor the tenkai team, now lets introduced them starting with their new comer beni as we now name her by her codename venetta, and here we have brave David, then here we have kiche also known as snowwolf, the strong guy known as dean, next pretty magenta, and the mysterious albedo the greatest protectors of the exiled village equal in every way." when I heard those words 'equal in every way' I remembered the dream when I was five but I was still confused on that until they all but albedo demonstrated their talents so I showed them mine as well. shooting silk into a web on top of the arena and made a net underneath the web and the net was shaped like a heart and it all glowed a pretty pink light. The crowd whistled and cheered through out the arena and the exiled guardians cheered as well well except albedo, but for some reason he looked like he was about to attack something he jumped to the web I made, but then he used his spear to grab one of the threads on my web and swinged until the spear got stuck on one of the webs thread and it pulled him into my net and the entire web fell on top of him me and the others dodged the web as it hit the ground and (SPLAT). Everyone landed safely on the ground and saw albedo with my sticky webbing all over him. Everyone stared for a moment until whole the crowd laughed, the tenkai team laughed, and then I laughed. then a dark red fire like energy burst in the arena the laughing stopped and then I saw that the energy burst came from albedo filling him with rage, so much rage that it melted away the webs that were all over his body. the energy faded away everything went silent albedo stood up on his feet showing a dark aura around him. He gave me an angry look and spoke to me "you... it seems you don't have the proper respect to a tenkai team member if that web haven't got in my way, I would have shown them my full potential." I giggled a little and spoke to him while giggling"I'm sorry but its not my fault you got stuck in my web and didn't have a vision to see this coming, but still that was really funny you should get over it." this is when albedo pointed his spear at me and said "thats...it...venetta LETS FINISH THIS RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW! and I will prove to you that I am better than YOU." the crowd was silent the tenkai team was speachless I never was challenged before and this was the very first time I been challenged to a battle in an arena in front of an entire crowd. So I broke the silence "wait...what...a battle?" I asked. "yes I challenge you to a battle your just a new comer and a weakling, yet you humiliated me and you had made an entire crowd laugh at me." the others intervened "whoa hold it right there albedo you need to chill dude. besides you did that to yourself! So don't blame her its not her fault." magenta said as she defends me while the others try to reason with him. " shes right albedo. its like your jealous or something?" dean told albedo. " I am not jealous!" albedo yelled. "albedo what is the meaning of this? You need to calm down you are all equals." guardian Olympus said to him. " quiet exiled guardians! Venetta and I may be equal but only one can be the best I challenge you venetta!" albedo exclaimed as he points his spear at me. I had no other option but to accept his challenge. " sounds like someone needs to learn how to share? You are such a boy but I accept your challenge." I told albedo and so we fought but then the exiled guardians stopped the battle "wait we declare this... a draw." the exiled guardians said, "rematch!" albedo yelled but then it was another draw but albedo kept challenging me again and again every time we have a draw he gets persistent. "its a draw again" the exiled guardians said until... "we'll see about THAT" albedo said to himself as he shot an energy beam at me but I dodged it. "albedo! thank you for demonstrating of our equal team members?" exiled guardian Olympus said. But albedo was in rage and walked away. "wow I heard of a toddler throwing a tantrum, but a preteen throwing a temper tantrum thats something else." dean said to the group but then the exiled guardians summoned us to a meeting.
