Chapter 9: fallen friends and the revenge of the pack
beni as venetta POV:
"everyone we have to retreat!" I shouted to everyone. We headed inside cave entrance to get to the surface. We looked behind us and saw a dozen robots shooting at us all over the place. But one of the robots shot the top of the cave and collapsed on top of them "uh-oh the cave is going to fall on us." David yelled as we were about to make it though the cave but then the dirt of quarton buried my friends. but me and albedo were the only ones left and I have to go back and save them until albedo attacked me with force and out of the cave until, something even more awful happened, a huge chunk of a bolder crushed half of albedo's body. " what?... No... this can't be happening? ALBEDO!" I screamed as I ran over to him and tried to push the bolder off him but I didn't have enough strength left to do that I was low on tenkai energy, but the rest of the ruble of dirt started to fall and then I was captured by two of the robots from the tower and dragged me away and watched helplessly as albedo started to get completely buried by the dirt. " ALBEDO!" I shouted until I was too late... to save him, at that very moment my friends were...gone. I struggled to get away so I shoved the two robots off me and ran away from them. I did not know what to do now, I was all alone in the wilderness, I can't go back to the exiled village and I don't know what to do anymore. until I saw a pack of robotic animals that looked like the ones that attacked the exiled village when I was five years old when I was on quarton for the first time. It was the same pack that I taken down and they weren't happy about it, they were really angry. " oh no... not you metal kitties again!" I exclaimed as I got on my feet running. Not by luring then into a trap, I was running for my life until I fell into a ditch I stood up again and kept on running and jumping on rocks but the robotic beasts were still chasing me. I felt like I was a helpless animal being hunted down by a hunters dog and get shoot down. I find myself in some kind of forest or what was left of it. I looked behind me and check to see if I was being followed but nothing was there. "whew that was too close... I don't know if I can take much more of that... Mrs. A.I. how much tenkai energy do I have left?" I asked A.I. [ venetta your tenkai energy is at 29% it appears that you been using too much. may I suggest that you rest? ] A.I. Responded. She was right " I should rest for now those things will be back soon. " I said to myself until I suddenly had that same feeling again like I was being watched by someone or something, somewhere and still nothing was in sight. I got scared I did not know how long I will survive out here all alone but I do know one thing. If those things out there come back when my tenkai energy is full, I will be ready for them.
