Later that Night all the members of the Lakewood family were gathered in the living room. Each of them gave the others looks of disgust while a nervous Melanie tried to keep things calm.
Down on the carpet young Tyke chewed on a bone much to big for him. His father looked down at him with pride.
"Hahaha.. That's my boy," Spike said proudly patting his son on the head.
Finally the Colonel spoke up, "Why are we here Melanie?"
Melanie shrugged her shoulder equally confused, "I have no idea, Mystery Inc. called for this meeting."
Suddenly, the large double doors at the back of the room swung open. The Lakewood's watched as Tom and Jerry were led into the room by Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma. None of them looked amused.
As Tom passed Veronica, he caught sight of Tootles being stoked in her lap. He blushed and gave her a nervous wave, Tootles simply stuck up her nose and ignored him.
"Well," said Silas crossing his arms, "Do you plan on telling us why you brought us here?"
"As a matter of fact we do," said Velma leading Tom and Jerry to the head of the room. The rest of the gang stood by cat and mouse's side.
"I am pleased to tell you all," said Velma raising a finger in the air, "That Tom and Jerry have decided to give up their claim to the inheritance."
"They did?!" said Shaggy in disbelief.
"Rey rid!?" said Scooby equally in disbelief.
Tom's Jaw literally dropped to the floor.
Melanie put a hand to her lip shocked.
"That's right," continued Velma with a smile, "All of these hauntings have been just to much for them. So they've decided they don't want to live in Lakewood Manor anymore!"
Tom waved his hands in the air wildly desperately trying to get Velma to stop.
Jerry noticing this gave the cat a large stomp on the foot, causing Tom to yowl out in pain.
"Well good," said the Colonel taking hold of his waistcoat, "It's about time we got this whole curse nonsense behind us.
"The manor," said Silas in disbelief, "but what about the money?!"
"Oh don't worry," said Daphne chiming in, "They've the decided to leave you with the rest of the fortune as well."
Tom desperately tried to rush over to the Gang to make them stop, but Jerry stood on his tail holding him place.
Melanie gave a large scowl when she heard this.
"Well it's about time we were given what we were due," said Silas with a huff.
"Indeed," said Veronica crossing her arms, "now if we could just figure out how to split it.."
All of a sudden the entire room went dark.
The fireplace suddenly lit up filling the room the room and anyone in it with a menacing glow.
A strange blue light floated from the fire and floated to the center of the room. It grew larger and larger until finally it changed into to the shape of the Warlock's ghost.
"I don't care who own's this Manor.. I WILL HAVE MY VENGENCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
As he raised his arms to pillars of flame appeared behind him, the Cerberus and Chimera statues appearing from them with twin roars.
"ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRRRR!" the two beasts cried out.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!" Everyone in the room screamed in terror.
Silas quickly hid behind the couch cowering in fear, only find that Shaggy and Scooby were already there.
"Get you're own hiding spot!" Silas screamed, pushing the two of them aside.
Now out in the open, Scooby and Shaggy saw the Warlock's ghost glaring at them it's eyes ablaze.
"AAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHHH!" they screamed as the Warlock began to chase them around the room.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKK!" screamed Veronica as she ran from the Chimera with Tootles in her arms.
Tom cowered behind a nearby vase, when he suddenly noticed that Veronica had tripped one of her own heels dropping Tootles in the process.
The Chimera lumbered towards Tootles, petrified with fear as it approached. Just when it was about to sink it's jaws into her, a large grey blur swooped in front the Chimera carrying Tootles away. The grey streak climbed up the mantlepiece, relieving itself to be a panting Tom holding Tootles in his arms. Tootle suddenly seeing him in a new light gave a small blush.
Meanwhile the Cerberus was cornering Fred, Daphne, and Melanie.
"Get behind me everyone," Colonel proclaimed, getting between them and the beast. Spike growled at the monster by his master's side, while the Colonel aimed his pistol at the large beast.
Before he could fire, the Cerberus tossed both him and Spike aside with a single swipe of his paws. Tyke, who was hiding with Jerry beneath a large ottoman, whimpered when he saw his father tossed aside.
The Cerberus, it's attention drawn back to Fred to Daphne, began to approach them unaware of the small ottoman in his path, or the two animals hiding beneath it.
Scooby, still being chased by the Warlock's ghost, suddenly noticed Tyke and Jerry beneath the Ottoman. The Cerberus was about to slam down a large paw on it, shattering it to pieces. As Jerry and Tyke braced for the impact, they suddenly noticed the Cerberus had stopped in it's tacks.
The two of them looked up to see Scooby Doo on top of the Ottoman, struggling to hold back the Cerberus paw, desperately attempting to halt it's approach.
"RAAAAAAAARRRRR!" The three head growled at Scooby Doo.
"Rust rold rooooooooooooon.." Scooby Doo whimpered, as beads of sweat dripped down his coat.
Meanwhile the Chimera and the Warlock's Ghost had Silas, Veronica, the Colonel and Spike trapped in a corner. The two younger Lakewood's and Spike trembled as the monsters approached.
"But.. the Curse was lifted!" the Colonel said dumbfounded, "You should be gone!"
"YOU JUST DON"T GET IT DO YOU!" the Warlock's Ghost shouted at ear splitting volumes, "THIS WAS NEVER ABOUT LAKEWOOD MANOR! THIS WAS ABOUT YOU!"
The Warlock pointing and accusing crooked finger at the remains of the Lakewood family, "FOR FIVE HUNDRED YEARS YOU LAKEWOODS HAVE BEEN RUING THE LIVES OF EVERYONE AROUND YOU! INCLUDING MY OWN! I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE MANOR! I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT CAT AND MOUSE! ALL I CARE ABOUT IS WIPING YOUR FAMILY LINE OUT OF EXISTENCEEEEEEEEEEE!"
From behind an armchair, Daphne watched the as the Warlock's Ghost chewed out the Lakewood Family. With a sly smile, she pulled out a walkie talkie and spoke into it.
"Now Sanderson!" Daphne stated.
Back in the security room, Mr. Sanderson watched the entire incident from one of his moniters.
"You got it Miss Daphne," Mr. Sanderson said giving a thumbs.
He proceeded to pull down on a large lever at the center of the control panel.
"sHk-PttBp-GzzAbp-Vcc-hTt-Dppt-GggAAAAAAAAhhh..!" The Warlock's Ghost stuttered.
The Lakewood family looked on in confusion as the Ghost began to fade in and out of existence, twitching and stuttering as he did so.
Meanwhile the the Chimera began shaking and convulging, it's head spinning around and around and around.
Shaggy, Tom, and Tootles looked up from their hiding place in confusion.
"Like, what's the matter with them?" Shaggy stated.
Meanwhile the Cerberus also began acting up, it's three head swing back in forth in every direction.
"Ruuuuhh? stated Scooby Doo as he, Tyke, and Jerry looked up at the beast in confusion.
All of the Cerberus reared back up on it's hind legs, electricity sparking from it's every joint. Just as quickly as it rose, it suddenly became still and began collapsing in the direction of the three animal.
"Rikes!" shouted Scooby as he grabbed ahold of Tyke and Jerry. The great Dane suddenly leapt out of the way, just as the Cerberus smashed to the floor shattering the floorboards beneath him.
As the dust settled, everyone looked up to the see the Cerberus and the Chimera lying lifeless on the floor, While the Warlock's ghost simply floated in place, seemingly frozen and still muttering.
Daphne rose up from behind her chair and spoke into the walkie talkie, "Excellent work Mr. Sanderson. Everything went exactly according to plan."
"Glad to hear it Miss Daphne. I'll be right down in a minute." Sanderson replied from the other end.
As everyone stood up to examine the monsters, Spike approached Scooby still shivering and holding on tightly to Tyke and Jerry.
"You.. Youse saved my boy.." Spike stated in disbelief.
"Ruh..?" said Scooby suddenly noticing the bulldog, "Ri rid..?
Tyke gave Scooby a smile, and gave a lick on the cheek.
"You're no mangy mutt.. You're a glorified Hero!" Spike proclaimed, picking up Scooby and shaking him fiercely by the paw. "From now on, anything you do is okay with us! Anything you do is okay with us!"
"Rehehehehehee," said Scooby chuckling to himself with a smile.
Silas approached the the remains of the Cerberus, lying still on the ground. Suddenly it sparked up shooting out electricity.
"EEEEEEEEeeeeeeee!" he shouted leaping into Shaggy's arms.
Meanwhile the Colonel, poked a finger into the frozen figure of the Warlock's ghost. To his amazement, the spot he poked seemed to blur as if it were static.
"I just don't understand it," the Colonel said dumbfounded, "How is any of this possible?"
"I think we can answer that," said Fred with a smile.
