Here is the 3rd chapter, hope you enjoy it
Chapter 3
"THERE!" Leo yelled in triumph as he backed away from the hanging lights he was done working on, they were going to hang over some plants he has growing outside the warehouse after he tests the lights to see if they work, which they should imitate sunlight, after he moves the plants into one of the large underground rooms that he was about done making it into a indoor garden.
The water was no issue as that was the first thing he worked one when he started working on the underground rooms, one of the rooms being completely filled with machinery to purify sea water into drinking water, which is stored in many large tanks that are in the room next to the purifying room, and just in case since he was cautious, he also made special lights that kill any bacteria or anything of the like in the purified water, hanging EVERYWHERE in the water storage room.
"Now just to test them, to see if they work." Leo said as he set up some of them up and powered them on, then got a small baby tomato plant in a large pot to sit under the light and got a hose that has a small sprinkler on it and hung it over the pot, afterwards he set up the sprinkler system to spray a gentle, light spray of purified water on the plant every 3 to 6 hours for half a minute to a full minute, he'll adjust it as time goes on so it hopefully gets good results.
"Alright, now just to check in some time later to see how everything works." Leo said to himself as he left the room after doing a final check, walking down a hallway to another room,this one looking like a lab and workshop combined.
He walked up to a project that's held up by a metal stand, looking it over before he started working on finishing the power supply on it, a simple self charging battery and a flexible solar panel, along with a small windmill attachment, just in case if either one power source gives out, another one kicks in.
"Hope this exoskeleton helps out big time." Leo mutters to himself as he tested a few wire connections to see if they work the way he wanted them to, once he saw they did, he soldered them and once they were done he placed heat wrap over the exposed soldered wires and shrinked it with heat, making the heat wrap tighten on the wires, covering them.
The exoskeleton as a whole is not bulky or large, it is slimmed down to where he can wear it underneath his suit, it doesn't have any other systems or attachments yet, as they aren't built yet, the exo was to enhance his speed, strength, and be able to allow him to land safely from higher height than normal.
"Alright, that should do it." Leo said as he looked at a clock on the wall to see it was around 6:15, surprising him slightly.
"I've been working for 4 hours straight." Leo muttered with wide eyes before he shook his head and left the lab workshop with the lights inside turning off, he walked a few feet before climbing up a ladder and opened the door at the top and crawled out to his home.
He walked to the kitchen to make his dinner, getting some noodles out along with baked ziti shells, tomato sauce and sausages and a lot of cheese.
"Spaghetti and Baked Ziti mix combo, coming right up." Leo said in a Italian accent before he snapped out of it and started making it when his stomach gave out a loud grumble.
"Alright, alright already." Leo muttered as he started making the large dinner.
NEXT DAY
"WOAH!" Leo yelled as he jumped to the side so he didn't run into a tree, he was in the forest near the docks testing out his exoskeleton, it was doing better than he expected, he was running nearly twice as fast as he was before, he had enough strength to lift a large, heavy tree with some struggle, he had to put it down since he could only hold it for long before the exo started to give out.
He was glad he had metal gloves attached to the exo so he wasn't holding whatever he was holding with his bare hands, the gloves could recede onto his wrists should he need a delicate touch in a situation.
"Okay, easy does it, easy does it." Leo kept repeating as he leapt side to side as he moved forward, dodging trees while slowly going faster before he stopped and checked his suit to see if there were any tears or rips in it from the exo, which he saw none, to his surprise.
"I think this is a good result." Leo said as he started to head back to his home, on his way he looked at the HUD that he installed into the helmet that shows the power of the exoskeleton in the top right corner, small enough to not be in the way, but big enough to read easily.
He stuck to the edge of the city as he made his way back, but something caught his attention as he looked at it.
"What in the world?" Leo said as he saw what looked like a pinkish red barrier over a lab, shielding it as a ship was sitting in front of the lab while enforcers tried to get through.
"That can't be good, especially with a ship that is that creepy." Leo said as he started running in the direction of the shield, which unfortunately meant he had to go through the streets, but he didnt care.
As he was running, he came up next to a green car, who he saw was Callie driving it, who hadn't noticed him yet. He sped up a bit after shaking his head to clear his thoughts of how pretty she looked and if he looked back he would have seen Callie look at him with surprise as he ran faster, starting to weave side to side, or jumping over cars as he went.
As he got there he noticed another group of enforcers on the other side of the shield, where he saw Feral ordering his men.
"If he's over there, then who's over here?" Leo muttered to himself as he came up to the shield, some enforcers looking at him before going back to what they were doing, knowing there is a bigger problem at hand.
Leo walks up to the barrier before he has his hud scan it in its entirety, seeing where it goes and how strong it is, ignoring the explosions of rockets being shot at it on the other side.
"What are you doing here, Megadeus Pilot?" A female voice asked behind him, making him look to see a female kat in an enforcers uniform that was different.
Leo looked her up and down for a sec before looking back at the barrier as he answered, missing the light blush that appeared on the kat's cheeks.
"Helping out, ms…?" Leo said, as he dragged the last part on, not knowing her name, which she picked up on and introduced herself.
"Felina Feral." Felina said as she stepped forward to stand next to Leo, looking at the shield as well, behind the perimeter the enforcers made, a familiar green car pulled up.
"And before you ask, Commander Feral is my uncle." Felina said as she saw Leo turn his head toward her before turning it back.
"Had any luck getting through this thing?" Leo asked as his hud was still scanning it, just wanting to know what was used to try and get through to see how strong the shield is.
"We tried rockets, which didn't work, but my uncle seems to not care as we can clearly hear." Felina said as they heard Feral yell for more rockets, making Leo shake his head.
"Stubborn as ever." Leo muttered to himself, hearing Felina chuckle slightly to his side before his scan was done, showing an obvious entry way.
"You got anything that can dig fast right now?" Leo asked as he looked at Felina, who looked back with confusion.
"Yeah, we have a few drills. Why?" Felina asked as she saw Leo look at the shield before looking back at her, she could feel him grinning behind his helmet.
"Cause we just found a way in." Leo said as he started walking back to the enforcers group, Felina stared at him all the while before she snapped out of it and started yelling orders.
FEW MINUTES LATER
"Alright, this is all the drills we have currently." Felina said as five enforces stood, holding five large drills from falling over.
The drills were large enough to make a tunnel that someone can crouch-run through. Leo looked at them before taking one and walked over to the shield, knowing many were looking at him.
"What's he doing?" Callie asked Felina, who looked at her with surprise, not noticing her until now.
"Most likely drill underneath the shield, but these drills are heavy duty, and strong, as it would normally take about three kat's to hold it in place long enough for it to start drilling, and that's on dirt. Here, we got concrete, much harder to do." Felina said as they watched Leo get the drill ready and started it, making Felina run towards him to help along with some enforcers before they stopped as they see him holding it in place with it wobbling off course a small bit before he got it back in place as it started to drill through the concrete at a fast pace.
"MEN, GET READY!" Felina yelled over the drilling as her men prepared themselves, she looked back and saw Leo already under ground and saw cracks forming on the ground on the other side of the shield.
"GO!" Felina ordered as one by one, the enforcers dropped in the hole and came out the other side as they saw Leo already heading toward the lab doors and followed his example.
Leo looked at the doors before he backed up a bit and ran full speed and kicked the door at full strength, making it burst open, much to the shock of the men around him.
He ran inside and saw little pink creatures running around, carrying what looked like glowing rods.
"Don't tell me those are radioactive rods." Leo muttered in dread before he backhanded one of the creatures that was coming at him, making it explode in green blood.
"Gross." Leo muttered as he started forward, either punching or kicking the creatures out of his way, he saw a big figure in black, red and grey clothing.
"Must be the one in charge." Leo thought to himself as he saw the creatures rushing to the ship, carrying multiple rods as the figure walked on board.
"Oh no you don't!" Leo muttered as he took off in a sprint toward the ship that was now taking off.
He got there as it just got out of his reach, he could only stand there and watch as it got further away, but he heard the sound of jet engines, making him look to see the Turbokat coming from behind him.
He saw it slow down before he saw a small missile with a cable attached launch towards him, but he knew the Swat Kats would attack him.
Leo saw the missile land a few feet away from him, the Turbokat now about to pass over him, he saw the missle open to make a larger area for someone to place their feet.
He got on and held the cable with his left hand, he looked back and saw Felina, Callie, and the Enforcers standing there.
"See you guys LATER!" Leo said, yelling the last part as he was making a two fingered salute before he was yanked straight into the sky after the Turbokat.
TIMESKIP
"BEGONE!" Leo yelled as he threw a creepling into a group of them, making them slam into the wall before he grabbed another that leaped at him and started hitting other creeplings away as he, T-Bone and Feral keep them off of Razor as he diffuses the nuke missile.
"Never thought i would use a bastard to wack another bastard." Leo said as T-bone started chuckling at that while Feral groaned.
"GOT IT!" Razor said as they heard the missile power down, Dark Kat yelling in anger.
"NOOOO!!!" Dark Kat yelled before he pointed at the group.
"You may have stopped my plan, but you won't be so lucky next time." Dark Kat said as he pulled a remote from his pocket before pressing the lone button on it, a second later the entire cavern started shaking and he threw the remote into a pool of lava and jumped through a trapdoor, getting away as the sound of his ship was heard.
"LET'S BOOK IT!" T-bone yells as they start running the way they came, dodging falling rocks.
"What is with bad guys and lairs in volcanoes?" Razor said as they soon came out of the tunnel and up to the Turbokat.
"Steel is going to pay for this." Feral said as they saw a group of enforcers vehicles coming to them.
"Well I guess that's our cue to get out of here." T-bone said as he and Razor got in the Turbokat quickly while dropping the same missile that Leo rode on.
"Right behind ya. LITERALLY!" Leo said as he got on the missile as the jet took off as they could hear Feral yelling after them.
"That never gets old." Leo said to himself as he saw the view of MegaKat city as the sun started setting.
"That's a nice view." Leo muttered with a small smile before he looked down and saw that they were getting close to the ground, he looked up and saw the Swat kats waving, he waved back before looking back down and let go as he dropped for a few seconds, landing on the ground in a roll before he started sprinting, keeping the momentum as he heard the Turbokat speed off to wherever they go as he did the same.
Soon he was back home, after going out of sight to make sure no one was following, in the workshop working on the exoskeleton, getting the dents out of it and making plans for attachments for it and for possible vehicle's to get around, along with some other ideas.

Sorry if it was short or not, been a good while since I last watched Swat Kats, which I hope they bring back.
