It's Thanksgiving! So here's lots of fluff, some smut and London and Caleb being the cute sweeties they can be! For those of you keeping track, I have this little chapter planned, then one the closer we get to Christmas! Thank you all for reading and coming back to see that this version of them have been up to!

If you celebrate, Happy Thanksgiving! I'm grateful for all of you reading my words!

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Working, you?"

"Do you remember me telling you my friend Rose? She's a teacher too."

"Let me guess, she has nowhere to go for Thanksgiving."

"Nope. I already invited her."

"Well, good because evidently, this is the year where none of our work friends have anywhere else to go."

"What happened?"

"Poe Dameron's parents went to Puerto Rico for the holiday. Finn Storm, has to get his car repaired, so no money to go home with then Hux, he's mad at his family, so he just wants to come eat turkey."

"Oh wow," Rey laughs. "We will have a house full for turkey day after all. Is Caleb going to be alright with that? I know your son has plans for the left-over turkey."

"We might have to fix two birds. Thanks for not pitching a fit about having extra people over."

"I'm sensing the vibe 'that's something the ex would have done'?"

"Something like that." Ben's voice drops an octave or two. "Have I told you lately that I love you?"

"Not since this morning," Rey teases.

"Remind me to tell you later—" their laughter mingles, her in the empty classroom while her kids are at P.E., him in his corner office with the door open. The couple of people they work with that can hear them, smile. It's nice to see Ben and Rey finally happy.

Brbrbrbrbr

"Two turkeys?" Caleb whispers as he looks into the buggy at the grocery store. "We're really going to have two turkeys?"

"Do you think that will be enough?" Rey asks. "I want lots of leftovers, but more and more people keep saying that they are coming."

"Mama?" London says. "How many people are coming?"

Rey picks up a pack of hamburgers for tonight's dinner. "You know, I'm still not sure. We'll have to ask Daddy—err, Ben when we get home." She looks down at the contents of the cart. "Don't let me forget buns and cheese, but first we need apples and cranberries." Her phone buzzes in her pocket. She smiles as she looks at the screen. "And it's Ben. Hello you," she answers.

"Hello sweetheart. Are you still at the store?"

"We are."

"Did you pick up something for supper?"

"Hamburgers. Is that ok?"

"It's perfect. Can you grab a couple more?"

"Who's coming over?"

"Mom and Dad." Ever since Halloween, they're together. Like together, together. Neither one of them have been in a super long-term relationship but Rey knows, for her, that this is it. He's the one for her. But then she's known that for a while now.

She just hopes he feels it too.

She thinks he does. In the quiet moments when he holds her impossibly close. Or when he's talking to London. Or when she finds the little presents that he leaves her.

"That's fine. What time will they be over?"

"Five, I think. I'll be there are soon as I can."

"Becareful, traffic sucks today."

"I will," his chuckle makes her smile. "I love you."

"I love you."

Then, as if on cue, both London and Caleb shout, "We love you too!"

Now, he's laughing as he says bye. She hangs up the cell and shakes her head as she chuckles. "Come on you two. We have surprise guests coming for supper."

"Who is it?" London asks.

Rey grabs more hamburgers before she answers, "You'll see. Let's hurry and get home."

Brbrbrbrbr

"Hello London, hello Caleb," Leia greets the bouncing children.

"Lala! Do you have any candy?" Caleb asks. Leia looks up and meets Rey's eyes. They both chuckle.

"No, I do not," but then she whispers, "but Papa does."

Both kids run to find Han, who admittedly isn't far, just waiting in Rey's living room for them to find him. "Don't worry," Leia offers, "its only one piece."

"That's fine," Rey smiles. "Are you two ready for your trip?"

"I have to finish packing. And get over the mom guilt."

"Oh Leia, but you two need a vacation. Don't feel guilty about that. We'll be alright," Rey says as she puts the rest of the hamburgers on the plate before she goes outside to grill them. "Besides, you'll be here for Christmas."

"You're so sweet, Rey. I'm glad you moved next door to my son."

She can feel her face heat up because of Leia's compliment. "Me too," she whispers.

As if he's summoned by magic, she hears his truck in the driveway. Two little people hear it too. "Daddy's home!" Caleb calls. Then, she hears London echo, "Daddy!"

London calling Ben, Daddy should make her feel something besides happiness, shouldn't it? But for the life of her she can't but to feel happy for her and her little girl.

She's just grateful that London has Ben in her life.

"When did she start calling Ben, Daddy?" Leia asks.

"She goes back and forth, actually. When Caleb gets excited like this, he's Daddy. When they are quiet and all that, he's still Ben." She pauses for a long moment. Han and the kids are out on the porch, and she can hear the quiet murmur of their conversation. "But it was right after Halloween."

After the long talk they had with the kids. Explaining what dating actually is, and that's what their parents were doing now.

"Well, I'm glad that kids are loving it—" Leia adds.

"I can hear it in your voice," Rey tries to sound like she's not as nervous as his mom seems to be. "I want it to work, too," she whispers the last part because if she has to talk louder than that, she's going to start crying. And she's cried in front of Leia before and she knows that if she starts, then Leia's going to cry too.

"We all do, dear, we all do."

"I bet Ben needs a plate," Rey says in an effort to redirect the conversation.

"I know, it's hard to talk about this stuff," Leia adds. "Especially with his mother of all people."

"Oh hush, you've become a great friend over the years." Rey hands her the plate she has in her hands. "Now, do me a favor and take this—"

Neither one of them has to go far because Caleb just appears behind them. He cracks a huge grin, the same one Rey loves because it's Ben's smirk just a couple of sizes smaller. Takes the plate and runs back outside.

"Thank you!" Rey calls after him. "Is London still out there too?"

"I think so? Is that everything?"

Rey looks around her kitchen island. there's fruit, fixings for the burgers, French fries, buns, condiments— "It looks like it."

"And here's the beef!" Ben says like the old commercial from back in the day as he walks in. Han and the kids follow him like a conquering hero returning from war.

"And I'm hungry!" Caleb says.

"Me too. Daddy was driving me crazy with those hamburgers, Mama," London says as she walks by to go wash her hands.

Her green meet his whiskey-colored eyes. She giggles and he looks a little, well a lot shocked.

"I'm not sure why she said that," Ben murmurs after his parents follow the kids to the hall bathroom. "Do we say things like that?"

"We must." She grabs his shirt and tugs him close. there's someone in the hallway so she steals a quick kiss. Before she lets him go, she mutters, "I love you."

"I know," he murmurs as he smacks her bottom.

"Ow!" she grunts as she swats at him with her spatula.

"You missed—"

"It's time to eat," she says as gently as she can considering that she's planning her revenge.

Brbrbrbrbr

"Goodnight Lala and Papa!"

"Becareful!" London calls. Rey has to chuckle when they both come back for one more hug and one more kiss. "I'm going to get ready for bed, Mama. Is Caleb spend the night?"

She sees Ben nod out of the corner of her eye and doesn't bother to hide her smile. "Yes, he's spending the night. don't you need a shower?"

"Mama!"

"London, let me turn on my shower, Caleb go to the hall bathroom—"

"I'll go help him," Ben volunteers.

"I'll meet you in their room in ten minutes?"

"It's a date," he says with a wink. She giggles because the butterflies that came to live in her stomach years ago, are still there when he still flirts with her.

"Just hurry—I need to be alone with you, for many hours if possible."

His moan is low and loud, and does those things to her that make her feel things—

"Thank goodness it's Friday," he mutters before he pulls her close again, and this time, his kiss is hot, needy—

"Dad! where are you?" Caleb calls.

"Why didn't we send them home with my parents?"

"Because they are leaving tomorrow?"

"They can go with them. It will be fun, I promise."

"Come on, dude. Wash the kids, someone will read to them, and they can sleep."

"And then?"

She swats his arm. "If I have to tell you, you're going home."

"Dad!"

"Ten minutes," she teases.

"Ten minutes," he echoes.

Somehow, they hurry both kids in their showers, brushing their teeth, brushing hair, and then putting them in the bed. "What story you two?" Rey asks.

"Let Daddy read—" London asks.

"yeah, he was gone yesterday so let him tell us a story tonight," Caleb says with a grin.

"Pick out a book. Mama kiss them goodnight." She meets his eyes and raises a brow of her own in silent question. "Go relax for a moment."

"Yeah, Mama do relax." London grins.

"I need a hug," Caleb says.

She gets her kisses and hugs from both kids but lingers in the doorway before she goes to her room. she loves how gentle he is with both of them as he begins to read something London picked out.

And it's her daughter who notices that she's still there. "Go mama."

"Goodnight guys."

Instead of answering her, they are lost in Ben's words again. She walks back to their—her room. Maybe it is their room. She looks around. His suits are hanging in her closet. His shoes are under her bed. Tears spring to her eyes when she thinks about his razor blade in her medicine cabinet.

It's only been a month and it feels like forever.

She just hopes he feels the same, which she thinks he does.

Which is why her goofy grin is decorating her face when he comes into their room. She doesn't give him a chance to say anything, when she throws her arms around his neck and tugs him down for a kiss.

His arms circle her, and he feels like what she's always imagined home to feel like. Sure, Cassian and Jyn made her feel that when she was still at home. and she hopes that she's creating that for London.

But this, this is what she's spent her life looking for. she pulls back, but only so she can look up into those amber eyes of his. "I love you," she breathes.

"I love you," he repeats. "Come shower with me?"

"Come on," she replies. Since they moved in, she's learned that one of his favorite things is to take a shower with her. And it's quickly becoming a favorite thing of hers.

A trail of clothes follows them from the bedroom to her bathroom. She smiles as he turns the shower on while she finds a clip to put her hair up with. As soon as it's up, he drags her in after him.

He doesn't let her speak or even squeak because his mouth returns to hers as he pushes her up against the shower wall. When he moves to kiss his way to her ear, with a smile she fusses, "You're hogging all the hot water, you big dork."

His answer is to not stop kissing her but turns them so he's against the wall and the water, hits her back. "Better?" He asks, his lips never leaving her skin.

"Much."

She wiggles out of his arms and starts to sink, but he pulls her back to him. "We don't have time for that."

"Why not?"

He sits on the built-in bench and pulls her towards him. "Because it's been an entire twenty-four hours since I've been inside you," he says as he guides her legs on the either side of his. She grabs his cock and guides it right where it needs to be.

"Fuck," she hisses as he enters her. He's right, it's been too long and after a crazy-Friday-before-the-holidays she's ready for him. "Do you realize how good you feel?"

"Probably not as good as how you feel." His hands migrate north from her waist only to stop at her breasts. He tugs on her nipples before he gently twists them, making her moan. He captures her mouth with his as she begins to bounce.

His hands return to her waist where he helps her to move faster. it doesn't take him long to stiffen underneath her as he comes deep inside. He buries his face in her neck where he grunts, "Fuck, Rey. That was amazing." As he comes. She continues to rock against him, and clings to him as she comes too.

He's still kissing and licking on her neck when they tighten around him. "That was amazing," she grunts.

"You're always wonderful," he compliments.

"And you're sweet. Come on, let's wash and go to bed."

He grins at her. "Yes, let's go to bed."

"Ben, I'm tired."

"Fine. I'm tired too." He says as she stands. He grabs the scrubbie, and she gets the other one. they wash one another with lots of touches and even more kisses. They dry one another off, and then race each other to the bed.

Arms around each other, the week's busyness catches up to them as their eyes shut.

"I love you, Ben."

"I love you, Rey."

Brbrbrbrbr

"I didn't think this many people would show up," Ben whispers.

Rey giggles. "Neither did I. I'm glad we're having it at your house now." When you compared the square footage between his house and hers, it was only a couple of hundred feet off, but he has a bigger kitchen and living room.

It was a natural decision to have everyone over at his house instead of hers. "It's kinda nice, though," he admits.

"It is."

Rose ended up bringing her sister, Paige. Who is currently talking to Mikita, another of Ben's co-workers who came with Hux. Ben had forgotten to invite him, not realizing that he was at home alone with his twins who are also in London's class at school. His ex-wife is currently in the Bahamas with her new boyfriend instead of spending the holiday with her children.

Finn and Poe are chatting in the other corner, looking for all intents and purposes that they've known one another for years instead of the couple of hours they've been here. then, the biggest surprise of all, Rose and Armitage Hux. They way they look at each other—it looks like they are ready to jump on the red-eye to Vegas.

Then it's colder than the weatherman predicted on the news, so all the kids are in the house, running around like wild monkeys on safari. The timer on the turkey rings, and Rey springs into action like the elementary school teacher she is.

"Go wash your hands kids, adults too." Slowly they start coming back into Ben's dining room, and take their places around the table. While they do that, Ben helps her to dismantle the bird. Both of them working together, it only takes a couple of minutes and then the table is set with Rey's fine china, the ones that she borrowed from Jyn and the makings of a wonderful Thanksgiving feast.

It doesn't take long for everyone to help themselves to seconds, some even get thirds. When Paige tells Rose that she has a ride home, she doesn't miss the knowing look between the two sisters. Then Finn and Poe leave at the same time, just leaving Rey and Ben, and Rose and Hux, and London and Caleb of course.

"Can we watch Charlie brown, Mama?" London asks.

"Of course," Rey answers as the kids get cozy in the living room. Which of course cozy for them is dragging all the blankets and all the pillows into the living room.

"They look so cozy," Rose quips, "I almost want to join them."

"Come on, Ms. Rose! You can," Caleb grins as he scoots over to make a place for her.

"Thank you, Caleb, I have to be going soon."

"You're leaving?" Hux asks, interrupting the conversation he was in the middle of with Ben. "I know this is forward of me, but would you like to go get a cup of coffee somewhere?"

"It's Thanksgiving Day—I doubt anyone is even open." Rose smiles.

"Well then you can come to my house and drink hot chocolate." Hux answers.

"I like that," Rose says. "Ok Rey! I'm leaving!" Rose announces.

Rey chuckles as she watches Hux help her friend with her coat. "Call me?" Rey asks.

"I will. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!" Rose calls before Hux drags her out the door.

The sounds of Snoopy fills the silence left behind as Rey looks up to meet Ben's gaze. The two then start to giggle, which turns into laughter. "What just happened?" Ben asks, wiping the joyful tears from his eyes.

"Evidently the Tico sisters came to our Thanksgiving to find dates?" Rey answers. "That was interesting."

"But in a good way?"

"In a very good way," Rey replies.

She walks back into the kitchen and grabs his dishwashing gloves. "What are you doing?" he asks as he follows her.

"Dishes. Unless you have a dish fairy that comes and washes them for you? And if you do, then I'm mad because you've never asked her to come to my house."

He starts plating the leftovers in smaller bowls to make it easier to put in the refrigerator. "I don't and I would share her if I did. But you can put as much of that stuff in the dishwasher that you can."

They work together quietly for several minutes with only the music of Charlie Brown filling the space. Not that its uncomfortable, it's actually soothing and calming.

She turns to put something up in the cabinet on the other side of the refrigerator when she runs into him, reaching for the same spot. A grin appears when he lowers his lips to hers. The kiss is brief, but not so brief that she isn't wanting more when he pulls away.

"Are the kids asleep yet?" she murmurs.

"Are we sleeping over here tonight?"

"I was thinking we could? Is that alright?" she asks, suddenly nervous almost every night, they sleep at her house.

"Of course. I just want you to be comfortable—"

"Ah, that's why you volunteer to sleep at my house?"

"Something like that," he smiles, but it's his goofy, shy smile.

"Don't you know? I and I know London feels the same, we just want to be where you are. whether it's here, china, or even the First Order's Supremacy. As long as we're with you—"

He interrupts her, but only so he can kiss her. "I love you," he murmurs against her lips. "And we want to be where you are whether it's here, there, Katmandu, Nepal or even Jakku—it doesn't matter, sweetheart."

"I love you," she whispers.

"And I love you."
