Hello everyone before we start, I would just like to say that I will use Las Vistas, as a general place. Like if they're walking through the streets I will use Las Vistas Streets, but if we're in a certain place l will use that place's name. Oh and Matt. I said this all the time, I have a writing disability, and this is for fun. It's not supposed to be something super serious.
Back to the story, in this chapter I will have one of the few Pokedex entries which will look like this.
"Oh that's a Charmander. Charmander is the Lizard Pokemon and is a Fire type. It has a preference for hot things, when it rains, steam is said to sprout from the tip of its tail. So they tend to stay inside when it rains." Kalena said to Kipo.
You'll see why it's like this later. Now onto adventure 1.
Adventure 1
The Burrow Girl And The Dragon Girl
Las Vistas Waterways
Kalena had been walking for hours, and it was making her frustrated. Kalena was currently walking down a dried up waterway, with her arms crossed. "Ugh. Isn't there anyone around here? It's been nothing, but trees and ruins for miles." Kalena said to herself, as she stopped in front of a tunnel. "Necrozma if you can hear me. Then can you help me find someone, and maybe some water." Kalena asked as she looked up into the sky.
Then the ground started to shake. "What now?" Kalena asked herself. Then a large burst of water came out of the tunnel that Kalena was standing in front of, washing Kalena away. Luckily all the water did was toss her around, and did no damage, but it did leave her with a mouth full of water. Kalena then sat up and spat out the water .
"I said "some" not a lot. And if you really want to help, then find me a person." Kalena said to the sky. Then Kalena felt something hit her side. She turned her head to see the body floating next to her. The body was female, by the look of it in her teens, with purple skin, and pink hair that was tied into a spiky fringe ponytail, wearing a torn up dark purple one piece outfit with a clover on the back of it. "You know when I said "find someone". I mean someone that was alive. Not this dead purple girl." Kalena said to the sky.
Then the purple girl gasped for air and started to spit out water, revealing her face with thin black eyebrows and dark fuchsia eyes. "Ah zombie." Kalena said as she kicked the purple girl in the face, making her and the girl move away from each other. "Ow! What was that for?" The girl asked Kalena. "Sorry, but you just came out of that tunnel and was floating on water upside down. I thought you were dead." Kalena said to the girl.
"Tunnel? I'm on the surface. I'm on the surface." The girl said to Kalena as she looked up into the sun. "The sun!" The girl said before she started to freak out in the water. Kalena just looked at the girl with a confused look. "I looked at the sun! I'll go blind!" The girl said as she stood up, with her hands over her eyes. "You're fine. You looked at the sun for a second. Just open your eyes." Kalena said to the girl, as she stood up.
The girl then opened her eyes, and moved her fingers out of the way of her eyesight. "Wait, I can still see. You were right." The girl said to Kalena. Kalena said nothing, she just had this look on her face that said "I told you so". Then the girl screamed a little. "I can't be here. I can't be here. I can't be here." The girl said as she ran to the tunnel, which was now blocked by a large amount of rocks. Kalena then walked to the girl.
As she did, she watched the girl trying to push the rocks. "Out of my way, rocks!" The girl said to the rocks. "I don't think you'll be able to move those. It looks like it weighs half a ton." Kalena said to the girl, as she reached the girl and leaned against the rocks. The girl then climbed the rocks to a hole near the top. "Dad! Can you hear me?" The girl yelled. Only for echos to respond. "Of course not. He could be miles away. OK. You can do this, Kipo. You got this. Humans lived on the surface for thousands of years. You can handle a few minutes up here." The girl said to herself before she took a look around.
The girl then let out a whimper. "You just have to find your way home." The girl said to herself. "You want some help with that?" Kalena asked the girl. "You would help me? Why?" The girl asked Kalena. "Well I got nothing better to do. Pulse it will be my apology for kicking you in the face." Kalena said to the girl. "Okay thank you uhh?" The girl said to Kalena, not knowing her name. "Kalena." Kalena said to the girl, as she reached out a hand. "Kipo." The girl said to Kalena as she tok Kalena's hand and shook it.
"Kipo, nice to meet you. Now let's start walking." Kalena said as she led her and Kipo out of the water way, and into the city. Then something let out a roar. Making Kipo scared, but not Kalena. "Kipo, if you're scared, stay close, I'll protect you." Kalena said to Kip. "You will?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Yeah." Kalena said to Kipo, as they continued walking. But then Kalena felt something in her chest, an unknown feeling, one that she never felt before.
Las Vistas Streets
While walking Kalena noticed a very large track. "Wonder what made these?" Kalena asked Kipo, as they heard the sound of something creaking, making them stop. "Let's keep moving." Kalena said to Kipo. As they returned to walking they heard something scampering behind them. "Kalena." Kipo said to Kalena. "I know just keep your ears up." Kalena said to Kipo.
"Kalena look, flowers." Kipo said to Kalena, making Kalena turn her head to see giant flowers growing out of a few of the buildings. "A lot bigger than they are in books." Kipo said to Kalena. "Yeah I've never seen Flowers that big before." Kalena said to Kipo as one of the flowers started to make some electronic music. "And I've never heard flowers make that kind of sound." Kalena said to Kipo, as they moved closer to one of the flowers.
Inside the flower were two large bees that were wearing a leather jacket, and glowing multiple neon colors. The bees then noticed the girls and tried to show them away. "Sorry for bothering you." Kalena said to the bees as she pulled Kipo away from the flowers.
"Well that was interesting." Kalena said as the two of them backed away from the flowers. Then Kipo turned her head and saw that they were standing in front of a music store, making her gasp. "Kipo what is it?" Kalena asked Kip, but all she got for an answer was the sound of a store bell. Kalena then turned her head to see the music store. "Oh." Kalena said as she entered the store.
When they were inside Kipo grabbed a wood guitar that was still in good shape. Soon Kipo and Kalena were sitting on some large leaves, next to a small hole in the wall. "Kipo, are you sure now is a good time to be playing a guitar?" Kalena asked Kipo, as they heard the guitar was off key. "Please Kalena. I need this." Kipo said to Kalena, as she tuned the guitar. "Okay." Kalena said to Kipo, giving her a warm smile.
"Up on top, on my own with another girl. A human girl far from home. The flowers are big. The bees are words. It's dangerous. Just like I feared. On the surface world." Kipo sang as she started to get into a grove. But was stopped when a large bird burst into the window. This made Kipo jump up in fear and toss the guitar at the bird. The bird then broke the guitar. "Stay away!" Kipo said as she ducked behind Kalena, who was unfazed by the whole thing.
Kalena then let out a roar. This scared the bird. Soon the bird went through the store and out the front door. "Whoa Kalena! How did you do that?" Kipo asked Kalena. "When you are raised by Kommo-o's. You pick up a few things." Kalnea said to Kipo. "What's a Kommo-o?" Kipo asked Kalena. "I'll show you. Come on." Kalena said to Kipo, leading her outside.
Once they were outside Kalena let Kommo-o out of her Pokeball. Needless to say, Kipo jumped into a ruined car, scared of Kommo-o. "What is that?" Kipo said as she peeked out the top half of her head, letting Kalena look in Kipo 's eyes. "This is Kommo-o. My main Pokemon partner." Kalena said to Kipo. "Pokemon?" Kipo asked Kalena. "You don't have Pokemon In this world?" Kalena asked Kipo. "I don't think so? What are they? And did you say "in this world"?" Kipo asked Kalena.
"Yes, you see I'm from another world, where powerful creatures that can do amazing things. Like causing earthquakes, floods, and many other crazy things. Like calling down meteorites. Those are Pokemon." Kalena said to Kipo. making Kipo hide again. "Relax, Kipo Kommo-o has no interest in fighting you." Kalena said to Kipo. "Really?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Yeah you see Kommo-o is the Scaly Pokemon and is a Dragon / Fighting Type. It clatters its tail scales to inverve opponents. This Pokemon will only batte those who stand steadfast in the face of this display. And since you hid the second you saw her. That means you are weak and not worth her time." Kalena said to Kipo.
"That's rude." Kipo said to Kalena. "It's just the nature of a Kommo-o. They only like strong opponents, anything else is not worth their time. It's nothing personal, Kipo." Kalena said to Kipo. "Whatever." Kipo said as she kicked back the set in the ruined car. "I know I should have asked this earlier, but where are we going?" Kalena asked Kipo. Kipo then started to think.
"Hmm… Let's see, the current took me left, then right. And then there was the long part. And the… and the short part. And then the loop-dee-do. And then I went over here, so my home must be in this direction. Or was it left, then loop-dee-do? Or… or… loop-dee-do, then left?" Kipo said as she drew on the dust, drawing just a bunch of scribbles. "Well that's a very clean and precise map." Kalena said to Kipo. Kipo then groaned and erased the drawing. Soon a sad look appeared on her face.
"Hey we'll find it." Kalena said to Kipo, as she placed a hand on her shoulder. Then they heard some snorting. Then they noticed a teal pig poking a little bit of it's head out from outside the car window, this made Kipo gasp. "Who are you, little one? You're adorable." Kipo said to the pig. Then the pig raised its head, showing Kipo it's extra set of eyes. This made Kipo yell, and fell backwards. Kalena and Kommo-o were unfazed. And the pig was scared off.
"Uh, sorry. Didn't expect you to come with extra eyes." Kipo said to the pig, as she got out of the car. "Let me guess you're a shelter kid, Kipo?" Kalena asked Kipo. "Yes. What about you? How are you so calm about all this?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Because the only things we ran into was, weird neon bees, a giant bird, and a four eye pig. I mean seriously, how can you be scared of that?" Kalena asked Kipo, as she pointed to the pig, who was trying to dig into the rubble to hide in.
"It's okay, I'm a friend." Kipo said to the Pig. "The pig then poked her head out. "Don't worry Kalena is nicer than she looks. And so does Kommo-o, I think?" Kipo said to the pig, making Kalena and Kommo-o look at Kipo. Then the pig came out of hiding. Then they noticed that the pig had six legs.
"Oh! You come with an extra pair of everything! I only have two legs. So boring." Kipo said to the pig. The pig then tilted it's head. "Aww! I have to pet you." Kipo said as she moved to the pig, making the pig squeal and run away at high speed. "Wait! Come back!" Kipo said to the pig. "That pig sure is fast." Kalena said to everyone. "Kommo-o." Kommo-o said to Kalena nodding her head yes. "You can run, pig. But I will find you, and I will pet you." Kipo said, making Kalena and Kommo-o laugh a little.
"What?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Sorry, but that's one of the silliest missions I've ever heard." Kalena said to Kipo, while Kommo-o was still laughing. "Okay let's get back to looking for your home." Kalena said to Kipo. but then Kipo walked away from her and Kommo-o. The two of them noticed Kipo walking into a store. "Or we can get you a new set of clothes. Kommo-o return." Kalena said as she returned Kommo-o to her Pokeball, and went after Kipo.
Kalena watched Kipo try on multiple outfits. "Okay that's enough." Kalena said as Kipo tried on a dress with a really really fluffy bottom. "Come with me." Kalena said as she gave some clothes and said to Kipo. "Here, try this." Kalena then shut the currents and waited for Kipo.
Soon Kipo came out from behind the currents, wearing off-the-shoulder T-shirt featuring a tiny pale-cyan circle with a fuchsia ring around it on the upper left corner. The shirt is layered over a dark-purple tank-top, and she wears dark-purple jeans and a pair of amaranth high-tops. She accessorizes with lime, cyan, orange, and black bracelets on her right wrist. "So what do you think?" Kalena asked Kipo. "I somehow feel like I've been wearing this my whole life." Kipo said to Kalena. "Glad to hear now let's go." Kalena said to Kipo as they started to leave.
As they started to walk, Kipo was enjoying her new outfits, while Kalnea just looked at her with a smile. Then the two stopped when they noticed a giant slug with a ruined car for a shell. "Want to go for a ride?" Kipo asked Kalena. Kalena cracked a smile. Soon the two girls jumped into the back of the slug, and pretended to be cruising around the town, with some bees next to them, making cruising music.
After a few minutes of this, they heard the sound of a pig squealing, and snorting. They turned their heads to see the same pig from before, running into the ruins of a school. "Piggy!" Kipo said as she jumped out of the car, and went after the pig. Kalena just shook her head and followed.
Las Vistas School
Soon the two of them started to walk through the ruined school. Soon they found the pig trying to get some food out of a vending machine that was wrapped in some roots.
"I can help you with that." Kipo said to the pig. "We have vending machines like this in my burrow. I know all the tricks." Kipo said to the pig. "Kipo, I don't think that the food in there is any good." Kalena said to Kipo. "Just wait Kalena. There's a wire back here. If I could just get to it." Kipo said as she tried to move the vending machine.
"Kipo, I don't think you can move it." Kalena said to Kipo, just before the vending machine roots broke. "Or maybe you can." Kalena said as she looked at Kipo, who was laying on the back of the vending machine, with her arms and legs up in the air. "That works, too." Kipo said as she got up and grabbed a bag of food. "Kipo, I don't think you should eat that." Kalena said to Kipo.
"Why not?" Kipo asked Kalena, as she opened a bag and pulled out a chip. Kalena then noticed that the chips were in good shape for something that's been in a vending machine for so long that roots started to grow on it. "Never mind." Kalena said to Kipo, as the pig came out of hiding and ate the chip. "Whoa! You were hungry, weren't you?" Kipo said to the pig, as she gave it the bag of chips. The pig then ate the whale thing bag and all. "Hey, wanna try something fun?" Kipo asked everyone. "Sure." Kalena said to Kipo.
Soon the two girls, and the pig were on a metal slab on top of some stairs. "You ready?" Kipo asked everyone. "I don't think this is going to be as fun as you think Kipo." Kalena said to Kipo, as the pig shook its head. Then Kipo pushed them down the stairs. "Yeah." Kipo said as they went down the stairs. They weren't fast, but they did spin a little when they reached the bottom. They then hit a bookshelf and stopped. "Well that wasn't as bad as I thought." Kalena said to everyone, as Kipo whipped the dust off a picture.
"Humans from the old world. This is a school! I go to school, too. Underground with lots of other kids. No windows, though. My father teaches there. Kipo, how many light years are in a parsec?" Kipo said, acting like her father. "3.26156." Kalena said to Kipo, making Kipo look at Kalena. "What?" Kalena asked Kipo.
"How did you know that?" Kipo asked Kalena. "I told you how I was raised by Kommo-o, until I was found by a group of people that wanted to save one of their mothers and Hapu, the Kahuna, that's the person in charge of my home and told me that I need an education. But I was a quick learner. And got all my schooling she wanted me to do in a year. Of course it was because I was taking classes all day that year. But even after I was done with school I had this thirst for knowledge. I don't know why." Kalena said to Kipo.
"A lot of good that does us up here." Kipo said to Kalena. Then the pig cuddled into Kipo's lap. "Looks like someone likes you." Kalena said to Kipo. "My whole life they taught us the surface was this horrible place. But look at her. She looks just like these dumplings my dad makes. They're called "mandu" that's it! I'm gonna call you "Mandu." Kipo said to everyone, before she started to rub her nose with Mandu's snout.
"Well it sounds like your teachers are scared. After all, it's easy to be afraid of something you don't know. Then try to learn about it." Kalena said to Kipo, as she got up. "Really?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Yeah take it from the woman that trail was basically a test of courage. Now come on, let's leave." Kalena said to Kipo, as she helped Kipo up. But then as they started to walk past a door Kalena stepped into a stain of blue ink.
"What is this?" Kipo asked Kalena. "I have no idea." Kalena said to Kipo as a ball of blue ink came flying out of the door. "What the?" Kipo said as the girls and Mandu poked their heads into the room. Inside the room was a small purple and pink creature with a small body and tail, but a large head for it's small body, with three stingers sticking out of it, firing blue and red ink at the wall making.
"It's a Poipole." Kalena said to everyone. "Poipole?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Poipole is a Pokemon. But it's one that the people of my home land call, Ultra Beast. This one is kind of called Poipole. Poipole is the Poison Pin Pokemon and is a Poison Type. An Ultra Beast that lives in a different world, it cackles wildly as it sprays its opponents with poison from the needles on its head. Meaning that these Pokemon love to mess with people." Kalena said to Kipo. "So what is it doing?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Painting. Some Poipole are known for painting for fun." Kalena said to Kipo. "Oh then let's join in." Kipo said as she entered the room.
"Kipo wait a minute." Kalena said to Kipo. "Hey, want to paint something together?" Kipo asked Poipole, making the Poipole turn to Kipo. But instead of saying something Poipole fire a red blood of ink at Kipo, trying to get rid of her. But that didn't faze her or drive her away. "Thanks." Kipo said to Poipole, as she whipped off some of the ink and started to pain. But with the limited ink she had, she just made a smiling face. "What do you think?" Kipo asked Poipole.
Poipole then looked at the smiling face, and started to laugh. "What is this funny to you?" Kipo asked Poipole. "Poipole." Poipole said nodding its head yes. "Well this is funny too." Kipo said to Poipole as she threw a ball of ink into Poipole's face. But instead of getting mad, Poipole laughed more. Soon Kipo, Poipole, and Mandu started to play with the ink, while Kalena watched this with a smile on her face.
A few minutes later the three of them stopped playing around. "Here." Kalena said to everyone as she tossed Kipo a towel from her bag. Kipo then used the towel to clean herself. "So who's next?" Kipo asked Mandu and Poipole. But the two were not done playing so they started to run, laughing a little. "I'm gonna get you two! I'm gonna get you, Mandu and Poipole!" Kipo said as she went after the two of them. Kalena just smiled and went after everyone.
Soon everyone made the ruins of an indoor pool. There everyone stopped on the edge of the pool with Kipo gasping. Then in the pool was a very, very, very large grey bunny with 4 sets of ears and 3 sets of legs. "Mandu, Poipole, Kalena, I have to pet this bunny now." Kipo said as she started to climb down the pool's ladder. But Mandu grabbed her shirt and made her stop. "Kipo, I think Madnu is trying to tell you that this is a bad idea." Kalena said to Kipo. "It's gonna be OK." Kipo said as she broke free and made it to the bottom of the pool.
Kipo then walked to the bunny and petted it. "Hi, there. Aren't you fluffy." Kipo said as the bunny nuzzled her. "Oh, you like that." Kipo said as Mandu started to squeal. Kalena then noticed a bunch more bunnies. "Oh! There's another one. OK. OK! Everyone waits for your turn. You're all so soft but there's only one of me." Kipo said to the bunnies as they crowded her.
Then a worried look appeared in Kalena's face, realising that the bunnies were babies, and that this was their nest. Kalena then jumped down and grabbed Kipo. "Kipo, we have to get out of here before their mom gets here." Kalena said to Kipo. "What mom?" Kipo asked Kalena, as the ground started to shake.
Then a shadow covered Kipo and Kalena, making Mandu and Poipole run away. "Her!" Kalena said to Kipo, as she pointed up, and before the mom layed down on top of them. Luckily the mom was all fluff so they weren't killed or hurt, but they did have to crawl their way out from under the mother. But then they had to hide against the baby bunnies because mom was still awake. Lucky one of the baby bunnies let out a yawn and the mom thought that was it, and went to sleep. Taking this moment Kalena and Kipo high tailed it out of there.
Las Vistas Woods
Soon the two of them made it to the edge of the woods, where they realised they got away. Then Poipole appeared, all clean, and circled around them. "It's okay Poipole we fine." Kipo said to Poipole, as they heard Mandu's snoraling. "Mandu!" Kipo said as they followed the sound Mandu was making. They then found Mandu, who was clean now and eating a shrub.
Then something in came and gabed Mandu. "Mandu!" Kipo said as she went after Mandu with Poipole following her. "Hey that's our pig! Get back here!" Kalena said as she went after Mandu too.
Soon the girls and Poipole found themselves hiding in a ruined car looking at Mandu, who was in a net hanging over some sticks. And standing in front of him was a young girl with brown skin, light brown eyes, curly dark-brown hair. She was wearing cuffed grey jeans, a black T-shirt, a clock that looked like a blue wolf and two pieces of black fabric tied around her wrist.
"Can you talk, mute? I'm no barbarian. If a mute can talk, it's not chow. All I need to hear is one little "yes"." The girl said to Mandu. "A human?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Looks like it." Kalena said to Kipo. "Sorry, but a girl's gotta eat." the girl said to Mandu, as she lit a fire. "Wait!" Kipo said as she pushed open the door. Kipo then tripped and landed right in front of the girl, who had a metal rod with a red lumpy ball, with a curve spike on the top of it. "Well there goes our element of surprise." Kalena said to everyone.
"I was wondering when you two were gonna come out of there." The girl said to Kipo and Kalena. "You're human! On the surface like Kalena." Kipo said to Kalena. "You don't miss a thing, do you?" The girl asked Kipo. "Wait. you can't eat my friend." Kipo said as she tried to get up. Only for the girl to use her stick and knock Kipo off balance and spin her in the air, before getting slammed onto the floor.
"Hey, leave her alone." Kalena said as she charged at the girl, feeling a need to protect Kipo for some reason. The girl then used her stick to block Kalena, and tossed her onto Kipo, but Kalena was able to give the girl a kick to the stomach before landing on top of Kipo.
"Not bad. But if you two want a bacon sandwich, go catch your own pig. I already called dibs on this one." the girl said to Kipo and Kalena. "Mandu is no sandwich!" Kipo said to the girl. "She's about to be." the girl said to Kipo. "Not if we have anything to say about it." Kalena said to the girl, as Poipole sneaked around and started to help Mandu, cut the net that was holding her. Then the girl heard the net snap a little, and turned her head. But before she could Kipo grabbed her stick.
"Say, your staff is so pointy. Where'd you get it from?" Kipo asked the girl, distracting her. "Off a giant scorpion. It was trespassing in my camp." the girl said to Kipo. Then Poipole and Mandu finished cutting through the net, making Mandu crash onto the fire, making a noise that the girl definitely noticed. The girl turns her head just in time to see Mandu and Poipole running away, well floating away in Poipole's case.
"Oh, no, you don't!" The girl said to Mandu. "Gab her." Kalena said to Kipo, as she jumped up and locked her arms around the girl's neck, while Kipo held onto the woff clock. But for some reason having two people on her didn't slow her down at all. "What's with this girl?" Kalena asked as the girl dragged them. "Run, Mandu and Poipole!" Kipo yelled to Mandu and Poipole.
"Let go!" the girl said as she started to hit Kipo and Kalena with her stick. "That's it, Turtonator come out and uses Shell Trap." Kalena said as she reached for one of her Pokeballs. She then opened it and a large spiky red and white turtle with patches of yellow around its mouth, round nostril, on top of it's head. And on it's back shell, appeared right where the girl was running to. "Turtonator." Turtonator said as it turned back towards the girl, and the spikes on its back glowing red. "Kipo let go." Kalena said as she grabbed Kipo and let go of the girl. Doing this caused Kipo to let go and made the girl go a little faster.
Then the girl slammed right into Turtonator's shell causing an explosion and sending her flying back a few feet. "Good boy." Kalena said to Turtonator. "What was that?" Kipo asked Kalena, with both of them still on the ground. "That was Turtonator signature move Shell Trap you see. Turtonator is the Blast Turtle Pokemon and is a Dragon / Fire Type. Explosive substances coat the shell on its back. Enemies that dare attack it will be blown away by an immense detonation. So if you just tap it, just a little bit, it will expose and send you flying." Kalena said as the girl started to get up and shake off the ash from the explosion.
"What is wrong with you two? Now we're all out of a meal. And where did that mute come from?" The girl asked Kipo and Kalena. "One, what's a mute? And two this is Turtonator I just say that." Kalena said to the girl. "And how can you eat her? She's adorable!" Kipo said to the girl, as she and Kalena got up. "I've eaten plenty of adorable. And there's lots more adorable things that tried to eat me. I guess now we'll have to eat your turtle." The girl said to Kipo and Kalena, as she walked towards them.
"Over my dead body." Kalena said, slammed her forehead against the girl's forehead. "Okay why don't we all relax and take a few steps back." Kipo said as she got in between them and pushed them apart. "Do you girls have any hand sanitizer?" Kipo asked them. This made Kalena laugh a little at Kipo's request, while the girl just looked at Kipo.
"You must not be from around here? The girl in scales does, but you? Are you one of those underground mole people?" The girl asked Kipo. "You've heard of us! I didn't think there were any humans left up here anymore." Kipo said as she pulled out a bag of chips. "For your lost lunch." Kipo said, tossing the bag of chips at the girl. "Where did you keep that?" Kalena asked Kipo, looking at Kipo back trying to figure out where the bag of chips came from, while the girl tore into the bag of chips like a wild animal.
"She's even more wild than me." Kalena said to Kipo. "Listen, I'm trying to find my way home. You clearly look like you grew up around here." Kipo said to the girl. "I don't think she's listening." Kalena said to Kipo. "Maybe you could help us find…" Kipo said to the girl, but stopped when she threw the trash of the chip bag at Kipo's face. "It." Kipo said, finishing her sentence. "I'll take that as a no." Kalena said as the girl started to move, with Kipo following her and Kalena following Kipo, with her returning Turtonator to his Pokeball as she left.
A few seconds later, they found themselves in the area Mandu and Poipole ran into, which was covered in bushes and large hardwood vines, with thorns on them. "Kipo. My name's Kipo, and the girl with the scales is Kalena. And… And we really need your help right now." Kipo said to the girl, as she and Kalena walked right by the girl's side. "She's right, we don't exactly know where we're going?" Kalena said to the girl. "You two are not gone? That's annoying." the girl said to Kipo and Kalena.
"Look, there was a mute-quake. A lot of people I care about could be hurt. I really need to get home." Kipo said to the girl. "Why didn't you tell me that earlier, Kipo?" Kalena asked Kipo. "Well, it never came up." Kipo said to Kalena. "I would have still preferred you to tell me sooner. Anyway, will you help us?" Kalena said to Kipo and asked the girl. "Not my problem." the girl said to Kipo and Kalena, as she broke off a thorn and used it as a toothpick, making Kipo and Kalena stop.
"Hey. Hey!" Kipo said to the girl yelling the last word. This made the girl stop and turned around to them. "First lesson of the surface: up here, you don't shout like that. It's called "ringing the dinner bell." and those clinking scales don't help." The girl said to Kipo and Kalena. "These scales aren't as bad as you think. The clinking sound they make, scares weak creatures." Kalena said to the girl. "So something big will come and eat us. Whatever I'm leaving." The girl said to Kalena, before she started to walk again.
Kipo and Kalena then looked at each other. Then the two of them got on top of a ruined car. "Hey, you, wolf girl! Yeah! You, walking away from us! We're still talking to you!" Kipo yelled at the girl, while Kalena was banging her fist against the car. But when she still didn't turn around, Kalena stopped. "Fine. we don't need you anyway." Kipo yelled at the girl, as she and Kalena got off the ruined car. "We'll find our own way-" Kipo Yelled to the girl before she got herself caught in a very large spider web. Then the spider of the web came down. "Oh, hi. You look friendly." Kipo said to the spider, while Kalena was tiring to pull Kipo off the web.
But then the girl came up and helped Kalena with her stick. With the two of them working together, Kipo got off the web before the spider could take a bite. "Thanks for the help." Kalena said to Kipo. "That's your last freebie." The girl said to Kipo and Kalena. "You're just a ray of sunshine aren't you?" Kalena said to the girl. "Forget her Kalena. Let just go this way instead." Kipo said to Kalena, as she started to move, but was stopped by the girl using her stick to lift Kipo into the air right before she touched a bush that was full of dead bodies.
"You're stronger than you look." Kalena said to the girl. "Yes, but really? You're just gonna lead the two of you into Death Ivy?" The girl said to Kalena and asked Kipo. "Death Ivy? Why do you call it that?" Kalena asked the girl, as a butterfly flew past them and landed on the bush. It then died the second it touched the bush. "Never mind. I figured it out." Kalena said to the girl, as she slapped her hand into her face, and groaned.
"You're not gonna last five minutes. And you have no idea where you are, or what's around you." The girl said to Kipo and Kalena in that order, as she put Kipo down. "Look, I'll help you two get home. But once you're back, I'm out. Up here, I work alone. Got it?" the girl said to them. "Thanks and for the record, I'm just helping her get home." Kalena said to the girl. "Oh, thank you!" Kipo said to the girl, as she was about to hug her.
Only for the girl to knock her to the ground again. "No hugging." The girl said to Kipo. "I knew you were a good person." Kipo said to the girl, as the girl started to walk. Kalena then helped Kipo up. "Hey, I just realized I don't know your name." Kipo said to the girl. "No talking!" The girl said to Kipo. "Uh, Ok I'll just call you "Wolf'', then. I've already been calling you that in my head." Kipo said to the girl. "Yeah "Wolf'' seems appropriate." Kalena said to Kipo.
Sometime later they stopped in some ruins. "Okay let's stay here for dinner." Wolf said to everyone. "Okay." Kalena said to Wolf. "Now stay here and be quiet. I'll be right back." Wolf said as she left. "Where do you think she's going?" Kipo asked Kalena. "No idea, but I have the feeling she's getting dinner." Kalena said to Kipo.
A few minutes later Wolf returned with firewood and the spider from before. Wol then slammed the spider and firewood onto the ground. Wolf then tried to light it, but was having trouble. "Here let Turtonator help." Kalena said as she let Turtonator out. "Turtonator use Flamethrower on the firewood." Kalena said to Turtonator. "Turtonator." Turtonator said, firing a steam of fire from his nose, and set the pile of firewood on fire. "Thanks Turtonator." Kalena said to Turtonator, as she returned him to his Pokeball.
Kalena then put the Pokeball away, and noticed Kipo and Wolf looking at her. "What?" Kalena asked everyone. "Where did that mute come from and where did it go?" Wolf asked Kalena. "One Turtonator is a Pokemon, not a mute, whatever that is. And two he's right here." Kalena said to Wolf, showing her a Pokeball. "What is this?" Kipo asked Kalena. "It's a Pokeball. A device that carries Pokemon." Kalena said to Kipo.
Kipo then looked at Kalena's Pokeballs. "So you have six Pokemon?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Yes. where I come from six is the max number of Pokemon a person can carry." Kalena said to Kipo. "Alright enough talking." Wolf said to everyone, as she started to cook the spider. And they were quiet for a little bit, but then Kipo started to talk again, after a minute of silence
"At first we thought about it. Was a mute passing overhead. I mean, that happens all the time, right? We learned a long time ago to anchor all tall furniture. But this one was, like an earthquake. I can't imagine how big it was. It made an entire cliff fall… while I was on it. And then, I landed in the water supply tube and nearly drowned. Then I got tossed around and burst out of a tunnel and crashed into Kalena." Kipo said to everyone, as Wolf ate the bug, and Kalena looked at Kipo smiling, not knowing why, and not caring.
"Sounds like a Tuesday. Look, Kipo, and Kalena, was it? Lesson two of the surface: Don't ever tell anyone that story. It could be very dangerous if people know you're from a burrow. And lesson three of the surface: up here, you never pass up a meal." Wolf said to Kalena and Kipo. Then the two girls pulled off one of the legs, and looked at it before taking a bite.
They both thought it would be terrible, but to their surprise it wasn't. "Crispy on the outside, chewy on the center." Kipo said to Wolf. "Yeah this tastes better than it looks." Kalena said to Wolf.
Wolf just looked at them with an annoyed look. "Can you tell me anything about your burrow that might help us find it?" Wolf asked Kipo. "Oh, well there;s the underground irrigation system... Which is underground." Kipo said to Wolf. "So scratch that." Kalena said to Kipo. "Oh, wait! The Colver! How could I forget the Clover?" Kipo said to everyone. "Kipo, care to explain what the Clover is?" Kalena asked Kipo.
"We live under this barrier called The Great Clover. I've never actually seen it, but we use it as our city emblem." Kipo said to everyone, as she drew her city emblem on the floor, with her spider leg. "Well that could be anything. After all, we saw giant flowers, so it's possible that there are giant four leaf clovers here too." Kalena said to Kipo. "Hmm. I may know what that is. We'll make camp here for the night." Wolf said to everyone, as she pulled out a rope. "Okay." Kalena said to Wolf, okay with the idea of sleeping out here. Kalena then stood up and pulled out a speeding bag.
"For the night… Out here? Uh, my dad must be really worried about me right now, so…" Kipo said to Wolf and Kalena, but stopped when something loud roared. "Uh, did you two hear that? Because I definitely did. It feels like something we should worry about." Kipo said to Kalena and Wolf. "Wolf just ground, as she worked. But Kalena moved to Kipo.
"I heard it too. But don't worry I'll have one of my Pokemon stand guard over us, so in case something comes, we'll be safe or at the very least my Pokemono will walk us in time to run. Does that make you feel better?" Kalena said to Kipo, as she squatted to Kipo's eye level. "It kind of does." Kipo said to Kalena. "Good now, which one should I use?" Kalena asked herself. "Just pick one and get it over with." Wolf said to Kalena. "It's not that simple. If I have one of my Pokemon standing guard all night, then he or she will be too tired to help us tomorrow, so I have to be careful with my choice." Kalena said to Wolf, before she started to think again.
After a few minutes of thinking, she thought of something. "Okay I got it, Exeggutor, come on out." Kalena said as she pulled out a Pokeball, and opened it. Then a large palm tree with two legs, each with two white claws on them, a tail with two leaves and a coconut on it, and three coconuts on the top. But the coconuts were actually heads, each with a different exception in it.
"Wow. Who is this?" Kipo asked Kalena. "This big boy is Exeggutor, Alola form. Exeggutor is the Coconut Pokemon and is a Dragon / Grass Type. Blazing Sunlight has brought out the true form and powers of this Pokemon." Kalena said to Kipo. "Exeggutor." Exeggutor
"Alola from?" Kipo asked Kalena. "You see in the other lands. Exeggutor is a Psychic / Grass Type and is about as big as you and me." Kalena said to Kipo "Question what's a Type?" Kipo asked Kalena. "It's sorta like an element they're connected to. It's hard to explain. You see there's 18 types, each one different, sometimes very, sometimes slightly, and a Pokemon has a connection to one or two of them. These connections give the Pokemon their power and their ability to live where they live." Kalena said to Kipo.
"What do you mean by the ability to live where they live?" Kipo asked Kalena. "For example, a Ice / Water Type can live in the frigid north sea, no problem. While a Rock / Ground Type can live in the middle of a desert canyon, and only need a little water to survive." Kalena said to Kipo. "That's so cool. Wait a minute! Didn't you say all your Pokemon were Dragon / something?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Yes, all my Pokemon are Dragon type." Kalena said to Kipo.
"But Dragon's are giant, fire breathing, lizards, not this." Kipo said as she pointed to Exeggutor. "Exeggutor?" Exeggutor asked, wondering what she was talking about. "Well I don't know who told you that. But the Dragon type is an element of energy. All the attacks and moves revolve around channeling your body's energy into a specific part." Kalena said to Kipo. "That sounds cool, but why all Dragon Types? Surely there are other types? Like Giant, Wild, or even Space." Kipo said to Kalena, making Kalena laugh.
"What?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Sorry but these types don't exist. And to answer your question I just have a connection to it. Some people just have this connection to a certain type. No one knows why. It just feels right for some people to use a certain Pokemon type." Kalena said to Kipo. "Will you two be quiet." Wolf said to Kalena and Kipo. "I guess Wolf is connected to the Dark Type." Kalena said to Kipo, making both of them laugh. "I don't get it." Kipo said to Kalena, as she finished laughing. This made Kalena stop laughing and signed.
After some time passed they all got ready for bed, with Kalena giving Kipo her sleeping bag, and with Wolf and Kalena laying on the ground. That's when the star started to come out. "So many sparkles! I was not prepared." Kipo said to everyone, with Kalena turning her head to Kipo, and Wolf trying to ignore her. "Those are called stars." Kalena said to Kipo. "Stars, they're pretty." Kipo said to Kalena. "They are, aren't they." Kalena said to Kipo.
"Why would humans stay underground when every night they could look up and see this?" Kipo asked everyone. "Yeah, it's a real paradise." Wolf said to Kipo. "Maybe it was too hard for them. I've learned that some people run at the first sign of something hard. After all, if you use today as an example. it's safer and easier to live underground then to deal with the craziness we dealt with today." Kalena said to Kipo, as the two of them looked to the stars.
"That must be the Big Dipper! It's part of Ursa Major. I'm kind of an astronomy buff even though I've never seen a sky before." Kipo said to everyone. "Now that is Ironic term if I've ever heard one before. A person who knows all about the stars, has never seen them." Kalena said to Kipo. "Ooh! And that bright one, that's Polaris!" Kipo said to Kalena.
"You see the one that doesn't make any noise?" Wolf asked Kipo and Kalena. "Well, none of them make…" Kipo said to Wolf, but was interrupted by Kalena. "She means, be quiet." Kalena said to Kipo. "Oh. OK. I'll be quiet. you get sleep." Kipo said to everyone, as they all went silent.
But then Kipo broke the silence a second later with a gasp. "Aries! That's my birth sign. I've always wanted to see it! It's supposed to be a ram if you connect the dots. I guess you can kinda see it if you squint right-" Kipo said to everyone, but was interrupted by everyone. "Kipo!" Wolf and Kalena said to Kipo "Oh, right." Kip said before they all went to sleep.
Las Vistas Streets
The next morning after they woke up, Kalena returned Exeggutor to his Pokeball. Then they made their way to a ruined convent store. "Anything that looks useful, take." Wolf said to Kipo and Kalena, as she started to tear apart the store for stuff. "Not to ritizes you Wolf. but is there anything here that is still useful? I mean everything here is trashed." Kalena said as she picked up an opened, empty, first aid kit. Kalena then tossed the kix away.
At the same time Kip opened what was a freezer door, and broke it. Inside the freezer was a milk carton. Kipo picked it up and looked at it. "October 23rd, 2020." Kipo said, reading the expiration date. "I don't think it's safe to drink Kipo." Kalena said to Kipo. "Yeah, it's expired by about 200 years." Wolf said to Kipo and Kalena. "200 years!" Kalena said as Kipo opened the milk. But there was no smell or sludge. Then when Kipo tilted it, a block of hardened mike came out and shattered on the ground like glass, making Kipo and Kalena look at it.
"Found it!" Wolf said, getting the girl's attention. "Spot remover?" Kipo asked as the two of them noticed a spray bottle in Wolf's hands. "That's for getting out shirt stains. No offense, yours may need a full spin cycle." Kipo said to Wolf, as Wolf put the spray bottle away.
Then the ground started to shake. "Mega Bunny. It's a good thing we're inside-." Wolf said to the girls, but then stopped when she yelled and sent flying to the girls, when the Mega Bunny hit the store. "Whoa!" Kipo said to everyone. "Definitely a Mega Bunny." Wolf said as they looked up to see the Mega Bunny.
"Kalena, is that the Mega Bunny from yesterday?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Maybe?" Kalena said to Kipo. "I think it's Rabbecka." Kipo said to Kalena. "One you name her, and two, Rabbecka, really?" Kalena asked Kipo, with a straight face. "What it's cute. Just like her little ones, all so fluffy and cuddly." Kipo said to Kalena. "I will admit they were fluffy." Kalena said to Kipo.
That's when Wolf gave the girls a mean look. "You two touched the babies?" Wolf asked them. "She did. I just got crushed by the mom, when I was trying to pull her out and I had to hide against a baby to escape her." Kalena said to Wolf. Then Wolf grabbed them, and pulled them and herself out of the way of one of Rabbecka's many paws.
After that Kalena realised what was going on and spring into action. She grabbed Kipo's legs, while Wolf had her hands around Kipos stomach. "Why did you touch the babies? Don't you know you can't touch the babies?" Wolf asked them as they ran. "How would we know that?" Kalena asked Wolf, as she let go of Kipo's legs, letting Kipo get her footing. "But they were so cute." Kipo said as Wolf let her go and she started to run.
Then Rebbacka smashed the ceiling above them. "Aisle six, baking goods. Aisle Seven, drinks. Aisle Eight, bingo!" Wolf said as they ran through the store, and stopped when they made it to an aisle with spray cans in it.
A minute later Rebbecka stopped attacking the store and left. Why? Because Wolf used the spray cans one Kipo and Kalena, as they walked away from the store. "Pretty sure you got the baby scent off us." Kipo said to Wolf, as Wolf used her stick to keep Kipos left arm and Kalenas right arm up, as she sprayed them both. "You can't be too careful." Wolf said to Kipo, as the can ran out. "Huh? Oh, all out." Wolf said before tossing the can away. "Oh, thank goodness!" Kipo said in relief.
"It's a good thing I found this second bottle." Wolf said as she pulled out another spray can. "You've gotta be kidding me!" Kipo said to Wolf as sprained them again. "This one's Summer Rain." Wolf said to them. "This in no way smells like "Summer Rain"." Kalena said to Wolf.
Las Vistas Waterfalls
Some time later the girls found themselves in a building that was infused with a waterfall. To travel through the building they had to swim for a bit. "This is way better than taking the stairs!" Kipo said to everyone, after the girls swim threw an underwater stairwell. "I gotta admit this is a little fun." Kalena said to Kipo.
Then while they all were on a giant lily pad, using Wolf stick as a paddle, and drying off. "If you run into anything, act like you're from the surface." Wolf said to Kipo and Kalena. "From the surface. Got it." Kipo said to Wolf. "Not a problem for me." Kalena said to Wolf. Then Kipo started to copy Wolf. "Uh, what are you doing?" Wolf asked Kipo, as they noticed the way Kipo acted.
"I'm from the surface, where life is hard. You gotta be tough as nails. Iron and fire… wearing dead animals." Kipo said to Wolf with a deep voice. "Good. you're catching on." Wolf said to Kipo. "This is my angry surface face." Kipo said to everyone, as she frowned. "I doubt you can keep this up for long." Kalena said to Kipo. "Watch I'll be rough and… whoa, what's that?" Kipo said to Kalena as she talked with her deep voice, before she acted like her normal self again and jumped onto a chair. The chair then moved to the window and she grabbed a telescope and looked out over the land.
"There's so much to see when you're not in a cave!" Kipo said to everyone, as they floated to Kipo. "Yeah there is." Kalena said to Kipo. "Focus, girls." Wolf said to them, as she moved the telescope. Kipo then saw a four lane clover interaction, making her gasp. "That must be it! It looks just like the clover in our emblem." Kipo said to everyone, as Kalena took the telescope and looked through it. "Wow. So, that's my home." Kipo said to everyone.
"It's half a day's walk from here, but we'll have to get over Skyscraper Ridge." Wolf said to everyone, as she squinted her eyes. "The what ridge?" Kalena asked Wolf. Wolf just lowered the telescope. "Oh." Kalena said as she looked at a pile of ruined skyscrapers. Kalena then gave the telescope back to Kipo. Kipo then looked at Skyscraper Ridge. "That looks dangerous." Kipo said to everyone. "It is. I'm really sticking my neck out for you two. And for what?" Wolf said to everyone.
"Maybe because you like us?" Kalena asked Wolf. "I wish I knew how to repay you." Kipo said to Wolf. Then Kipo had an idea. "Or if you wanted to come stay with me, I'm sure there'd be a place for you in my burrow. The same can be said for you Kalena." Kipo said to everyone. "And go all soft and mushy like the rest of you mole people? No, thanks." Wolf said to Kipo. Kalena then looked behind them and noticed a giant frog was standing on two legs, a triangle shaped mustache, and wearing a suit behind them.
The frog then fired it's tongue at them. "Get down." Kalena said as she pulled Wolf and Kipo into the water, dodging the tongue and making Kipo yell a little bit. "Humans." the frog said before charging at the girls. Wolf was the first to spring into action. The frog fired it's tongue again, and Wolf blocked it with her stick. Wolf then moved away from the others and started to spin her stick, which still had the frog's tongue on it, pulling the frog towards her.
Not wanting to be left out. Kalena joined in, and jumped into the air, and landed right on the frog's head, then bounced off the frog's head. Watching this made Kipo cringe a bit. The frog then got up and grabbed a painting from the wall and swung it at Kalena and Wolf, but Kalena dodge the painting, but not Wolf. Wolf was hit, smashing the painting, and sent flying out a window, but Wolf used her stick to save her and force herself into the frog, knocking the frog down. Kalena jumped onto the frog. Then the two jumped off the frog and landed on a desk.
"Now this is my kind of fun." Kalena said as a smile appeared on her face. Then Wolf noticed an ink well next to them and used her stick to throw it at the frog. "Why did you do that?" Kalena asked Wolf as the ink well hit the frog's white shirt leaving a black stain, making the frog gasp. "My shirt! It won't come out!" It's setting!" the frog said, trying to wash the stain out of his shirt with hands. "Really? A little stain and he forgets where in the middle of a battle?" Kalena asked everyone, as they moved back to Kipo, a frown on Kalena's face.
"Careful! That's one of the Mod Frogs. You do not wanna mess with them." Wolf said to Kalena. "You're a talking frog!" Kipo said to the frog, making Kalena cover Kipo's mouth. "Huh?" The frog said, wondering what Kipo said and what Kalena was doing. Kipo then removed Kalena's hand. "I mean, I've seen tons of talking frogs before…" Kipo said to the frog as she removed Kalena's hand from her mouth. Kipo then noticed everyone giving her a wired look. "That wear suits. No… No biggie." Kipo said, trying to act normal. "Smooth." Kalena said to Kipo.
"What my friend here means to say is we have this!" Wolf said to the frog as she pulled out the spot remover. "Spot remover! Give it to me!" The Frog said to Wolf. "If you let us go." Wolf said to the frog as she held the spray over the waterfall, making the frog gasp. "Look, this is my private office. Was there an "enjoy the view" sign on my door? I think not?" The frog to them. "Then maybe you should have a lock on the door." Kalena said to the frog. "Not the points, just who are you girls?" The frog asked them.
The girls then looked at each other for a second. "We're Mega Bunny Hunters. We were just scouting." Wolf said to the frog, making the frog groan. "Just give me the spot remover. Then I'll decide what to do with you." The Frog said to Wolf. "Fine. Here!" Kalena said to the frog, as she grabbed the spot remover from Wolf, and tossed it out one of the side windows. "Ooops." Wolf said as the frog went after the spot remover. The frog got to the window and used his tongue to grab the spot remover, before it was well out of his reach.
"Oh, thanks… Huh?" The frog said as he pulled that spot remover to his hands, and noticed the girls running out the door and slamming it shut behind them. But instead of going after them, he just started to remove the ink stain. "Mega Bunny hunters. Right. Looked more like a burrow girl to me." The Frog said out loud, before realising what he said. "Huh." The frog said.
Las Vistas Streets
After the deal with the frog, the girls were walking through the town, after walking for a bit, the stars started to come out. "This does not get old." Kipo said to everyone. "Lesson five on the surface: Looking up… gets you killed." Wolf said to Kipo, as she pointed her stick at Kipo. "Knock it off Wolf." Kalena said Wolf, moving Wolf's stick away from Kipo.
"Whoa." Kipo said as they found themselves in front of a tree that was full of bikes. Then they heard a twig snap and turned, with Wolf spinning her stick. The girls then turned to see Mandu and Poipole behind them. But even though it was Mandu and Poipole, Wolf still pointed her stick at them. "Mandu! Poipole! You two came back! Here, girls!" Kipo said to Mandu and Poipole, as she patted her lap. But Mandu and Poipole didn't move.
"Something's wrong." Wolf said to everyone. "Yeah, you're pointing a nightmare stick at a tiny pig, and tiny Pokemon. How do you expect the poor things to react?" Kipo asked Wolf. Then Mandu took off, while Poipole hide behind Kipo. "I'm not the one who spooked them." Wolf said to Kipo, as they noticed a car that was being pulled by a supersized dragonfly, driving down the street.
On top of the car was the frog from earlier, while inside the car were two more frogs, one a large one, and the other had large red eyes. "Oh, burrow girl! I figured out where you're from. Shocker… A burrow!" The first frog said as he jumped off a car. "Take cover." Kalena whispered, as she pushed everyone into some nearby bushes, with Mandu hiding somewhere else.
In the bushes Kipo was freaking out a little. And whether it was her Kommo-o instincts or something else, Kalena wrapped her arms around Kipo to protect her, and mentally got ready to protect Kipo with everything she got. Wolf on the other hand was just trying to keep them quiet
"You could lead us to the mother lode of humans." The frog said, firing his tongue into some bushes, only to catched Mandu. "Ah, just a pig." The frog said, making Kipo peek out of a hole in the bushes. "Eh, at least we have a snack." The frog said. "No." Kipo said as the frog was about to put Mandu into their car, all the while Mandu was squealing and flaying her legs. "I won't let them take her." Kipo said to everyone. "And risk our necks for a Mute? See, this is why I work alone." Wolf said to Kipo, as she held her in place.
"Then you can stay here and hide, we're helping Mandu." Kalena said to Wolf as she removed Wolf's arms from Kipo. "You're going to help?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Of course. Mandu needs us." Kalena said to Kipo. "Thanks." Kipo said to Kalena. "And you. If you like to be alone so bad, maybe you should leave. We don't need your help.." Kipo said to Wolf, as she and Kalena got up and walked out of the bushes.
"Put the pig down right now!" Kipo said to the first frog. "Yeah or else we're going to have a problem." Kalena said to the first frog. "Burrow girl, there you are. And you brought, Scale girl with you." The first frog said to them before laughing, as the red eye and large frog moved to stand with the first frog, with the red eye one holding a bat, and the large one pulling out a ball and chain. As they got closer Kipo and Kalena heard Wolf baling.
"Uh.. that pig is a bloodthirsty killer. She'll tear you limb from limb." Kipo said to the frogs, as Poipole hide behind Kipo. "Mm, yeah. I'll take my chances." The first frog said to Kipo, before Mandu bit the first frog's hand. This caused the first frog to drop Mandu. Kipo then grabbed Mandu and took off running with Kalena and Poipole behind her.
But they didn't get far. Soon the frogs got into their car and went after them. "Not good." Kalena said to Kipo, as they tried to go faster. But then Wolf came right up next to them and used her stick to grab them, and held them in the air, as she kept pelting. "Wolf! You came back!" Kipo said to Wolf, with Mandu in her arms, and Poipole in Kalena's arms. "Yep." Wolf said before tossing them into the air.
Wolf then made a sharp turn with the help of her stick and was right where she needed to be for Kipo and Kalena landing right on the back seat of the bike. And while it did shake the frogs up a bit, they didn't lose them, and the frogs were gaining on them. So Wolf went down some stars, and while it did stop the car, it didn't stop the first frog, who used his tongue like a grappling hook. "We still have one following us." Kalena said, as Wolf noticed a broken light pole, that fell over to become a bar.
Wolf used her stick on the pole and did a spin that made her slam right into the frog. This threw off the frog's balance and let Wolf ride him to the bottom of the stairs. All the while, the stinger in her stick was in the frog's head. Wolf and the frog stopped right in front of everyone else, making Kipo gasp. "Is he dead?" Kipo asked Wolf. "No, but when he wakes up, he'll have a bad headache… and possibly some memory loss." Wolf said as she removed her stick from the frog and got on the bike. "Let's get out of here before he walks up." Kalena said as Wolf started to pette.
A few minutes later they entered a building. "We'll hole up here." Wolf said as they started to barricade the door. "Normally, at night, I'd be at home doing my homework." Kipo said as they kept moving things. Then they finished and sat next to the barricade. "Eating a muffin. Not running away from homicidal frogs!" Kipo said to them. "Kipo relax. When you're scared or freaking out, you'll make mistakes. And now's not the time to be making mistakes." Kalena said to Kipo.
Then Wolf placed her hands over Kipo and Kalena's mouth. "Shh." Wolf said to everyone. "Oh… oh, my head. I… wait a minute, why are you following me?" the first frog asked the other frogs, trying to focus. "Uh, Jamack, we're looking for those humans." The red eye frog said to the first frog. "Oh, yeah, right. Yeah, just… duh. Let's… let's get back to that then." Jamack said to the other frogs, as they walked past the girls.
"Whew!" Kipo said as she started to relax. "Since we've had our first fight and makeup, that makes us officially sisters." Kipo said to Wolf, making Kalena jealous, having no idea why. Kipo then put a hand on Wolf's shoulder. "Don't." Wolf said to Kipo. "Uh, right." Kipo said, removing her hand.
Then they heard the sound of a baby crying. They all got up and moved to a room on the upper floor of the building. There they found a cradle with a baby wrapped in a blanket in it. "There's a baby here. Why is there a baby here?" Kipo asked everyone. "How should I know?" Kalena said to Kipo, as they heard something banding against the barricade. "Inside now." Kalena said as she pushed everyone inside and closed the door, just before Jamack and the two with him broke down the barricade.
"We have to shut that thing up." Wolf said to everyone, as she got ready and Kalena grabbed one of her Pokeball. While they got ready for the fight, Kipo tried to calm the baby down. "OK, we really need you to hush, little baby." Kipo said to the baby. "I'll put him to sleep." Wolf said, pointing her stick at the baby. "You can't be serious about stinging a baby." Kalena said to Wolf, as moved the stick away from the baby. "Relax, there's only a slight chance this'll kill him." Wolf said to Kalena.
"Kalena's right and don't you dare!" Kipo said to Wolf. Kipo then removed part of the blanket, only to find it wasn't a blanket, and what was inside wasn't a baby. This made Kipo gasp and made Wolf remove the "blanket". Only to reveal if it was a very large bug. "A Mute? You gotta be kidding me!" Wolf said to everyone. "It's still a baby!" Kipo said to Wolf.
"Check every room!" Jamack said to the frogs, as Kipo nervously tried to calm the baby down. "Do you two know any grub nursery rhymes?" Kipo asked Wolf and Kalena, before the baby started to let out a loud cry.
"What the? Hey wait!" Jamack said before the sound of something beating up the frogs filled the building. They heard the frogs trying to fight, but it sounded like a losing battle. This put everyone, but Kipo on edge.
Then something fast came in through the door and then closed it. And while everyone's attention was on the door, Kipo didn't notice that the baby was wisped out of her arms. "What the?" Kipo asked as they noticed something in the back of the room.
This creature looks like a bug and a lady mixed together. The bug-lady looked like she was wearing a fully white shirt, with long skinny white legs, and yellow spots for knees, two points for feet, with the baby held in her long skinny white arms with yellow spots for elbows, blue eyes, with what looked like long transparent hair that reached down to her feet, finally what looked like a yellow crown above her eyes that had two long entiai with yellow oval that reached to her feet.
"A Pheromosa!" Kalena said with a shocked look on her face. "You know that thing?" Wolf asked me. "Pheromosa is the Lissome Pokemon and is a Bug / Fighting Type. One of the Ultra Beasts. It refuses to touch anything, perhaps because it senses some uncleanness in this world." Kalena said to Wolf. "But she's holding that baby?" Kipo asked Kalena. "I don't know why." Kalena said to Kipo.
"Ugh, what was that. No matter, find that burrow girl." Jamack said to the frogs. Then the sound of the frogs moving fluid the building, as the baby started to cry again. "This isn't going to end well. Kommo-o a little help" Kalena said as she let Kommo-o out of her Pokeball. Soon Wolf, Kalena, Mandu, Kommo-o, and Pheromosa got ready for a fight, while Kipo hide behind Kalena, and Poipole behind Kipo, all the while the baby kept crying.
