Hello everyone, school has started again, so my stories might take a little longer to make. And I'll ask again Geneevee, try not to use curse words in your reviews please. Now here's chapter 13.

Chapter 13

The Extinct Path

The smell of smoke woke William up. "What! What's going on?" William asked, as he noticed the room was on fire, and everyone was missing. "Guys? Where are you, guys!?" William asked as he ran out of the room, and noticed the whole place was on fire.

William then started to run out of the inn, avoiding the fire. But things only got worse when he got out of the inn. Once he made it outside, he saw the city on fire, and snow had all melted away, turning into a barren wasteland. The sun was so bright, you would think you were right next to it. Then the ground started to shake, and lava started to gush out of the earth. All of this made William fall to the ground. Then William noticed something rising from the earth.

The first thing William noticed was four red blades on the top of a head, then black eyes with yellow pupils, then white sharp teeth, and then two blades on the side of it's head, before two small arms with a red back with black line and an ash gray front came out of the ground, with four white claws, and started to push itself out of the earth, that's when William noticed it's front was ash gray, and it back was red with black lines on it, plus five white spikes on each side of its body, with three above the arms, and two below the arms, then it raised a foot letting Willima see it's small red leg, with black lines, and three while claws, then it was out of the earth, letting Wiliam see it's thin red tail with a as gray lower part, three white spikes on both sides, black lines, and four red blades on the end of it.

"Groudon!?" William said, as he looked at the creature with wide eyes. Then Groudon turned to William and roared at him before glowing red and shrinking. Once Groudon stopped shrinking, he was in a new form, but was still glowing. It was human in shape, with four bumps on its head, four spikes on its back, thick hands and feet with five claws on both its hands and feets, and a long tail with a big curve on the end. This it held out a hand, and a glowing red spear appeared. The spear was in normal shape, except for the head, it looked like a U with points on the end, and a bump in the middle of it.

Then the thing slammed the spear into the ground, and the ground around William started to break apart. "AAAAAAAHHHH!" William yelled as he fell down to the depths of the earth.

REALITY

William then shot up from his bed, and looked around. He noticed everything was fine and nothing was on fire. William then quietly got out of bed and walked out of the room. William noticed the inn was mostly quiet, minus a strange noise coming from the girls room. William used this noise to move down stairs and out the door.

Once outside, William took a seat and stared at the town, well, as best as he could when the only light was moon light. It was cold, but William didn't care. He just wanted to be alone with his tights right now.

But he wasn't going to be alone. Because the door opened catching his attention. He turned his head to see Alice with a blanket. "Alice what are you doing here?" William asked Alice. "I could ask you the same thing. Cause last time I checked you don't have a snoring machine named Pascal." Alice said to William. "It's nothing." William said to Alice, turning away from her. "Sure, quietly sneaking outside, into a cold freezing night alone. Why not." Alice said to William. William then sighed.

"Tell me what's wrong?" Alice asked William, as she sat next to him. "I had a nightmare about Groudon." William said to Alice. "Groudon?" Alice asked William. "The Red Lizard for you." William said to Alice. "Oh." Alice said to William. "I saw him burn everything down, the inferno, the heat, I could feel it all. I came outside to feel the cold. I want to feel the cold and not the heat." William said to Alice. "So you had a bad dream, that doesn't mean you have to catch a cold." Alice said to William.

"Sure, if it means I don't become a monster." William said to Alice. "A monster?" Alice asked William. "Don't you get it, I have Rayquaza and Kyogre powers. And I had a nightmare about both of them. This nightmare means I must have Groudon powers too." William said to Alice, as he pulled his legs into his chest, and resting his head on his knees. "Okay so, the Rayquaza and Kyogre powers may have been a little intimidating, but how bad can Groudon's power be?" Alice asked William.

"It would burn everything to the ground!" William said to Alice, pulling his head up and trending to her. Alice was still calm. "You won't do that." Alice said to William. "How do you know?" William asked Alice, looking away from her. Alice then used her right hand to make William look at her. "Cause Asbel won't let you. Even after all the things he's seen you do. Asbel still thinks of you as a friend. And he will stop you every time." Alice said to William, before poking his head. "Far point, but that doesn't make me feel better." William said to Alice.

Then Alice pulled her blanket over her and William. "What are you doing?" William asked Alice. "It's something my mom would do when I was little, and had a nightmare. She said it was something she and Grandma used to do when mom was little. She said, "Nothing makes those scary dreams go away then sharing a warm blanket with someone you care about." and while we're only friends, I'm sure this is what you need." Alice said to William.

"Like that will... work." William said to Alice, letting out a yawn. "It seems like it's working to… me." Alice said to William, before letting out a yawn herself. "Why don't... we go... back inside." Alice said to William, getting tired. "Sure… why… not." William said to Alice, as the two of them got up, and walked inside. But they didn't make it; the two of them made it to a bench in the lobby before falling asleep, with Alice laying on top of William.

The next morning, after William and Alice woke up realising they were still cuddling. The two of them quickly pulled themselves together and went back to their rooms to get their stuff, trying to act like nothing happened. After they both got into their rooms, everyone else started to walk up

After a few minutes everyone gathered their stuff and headed for the lobby, where the innkeeper and her son met them, with Magcargo. "Good morning! How was your night? The innkeeper asked everyone. "It was cold, and I totally didn't sleep at all…" Pascal said to the innkeeper. "That's amazing, considering that your snoring was rattling the crockery in my room." Hubert said to Pascal. "And woke me up." Alice said to Pascal. Both these comments made Pascal rube the back of her head, with a sheepish look on her face.

"You're right, little lady, we do have some cold nights here. We keep hearing that the government will use it's valkines to help us. I wish I could believe that. These are desperate times." The innkeeper said to Pascal. "Do you know where the valkiness is?" Asbel asked the innkeeper. "Not specifically, no. But I've heard they're studying it in Zavhert." The innkeeper said to Asbel. "Studying? Does that mean someone's helping 'em? But who…?" Pascal asked. "You can find out when we get there." William said to Pascal.

"All right then. Let's get to Zavhert as fast as possible." Asbel said to everyone. "Right, let's go Magcargo." William said to Asbel and Magcargo. "Bye Magcargo." The boy said to Magcargo, waving goodbye. (Goodbye. Now take care of your sister for me.) Magcargo said to the boy before she and everyone with her exited the inn.

After an hour of walking they made it to another port. "This ship will take us to Zavhert." Malik said, leading everyone to a ship that was docked. "You seem to know a lot about this country." Hubert asked Malik. "Is that a problem?" Malik asked Hubert. "No, not a problem. It's just... interesting." Hubert said to Mallik. "The Captain's crazy old! He probably knows about everything by now." Pascal said to Hubert. "Tactful as always, Pascal." Malik said to Pascal. "Don't change the subject!" Hubert said to everyone.

I'm not! I'm only like 22, and so I thought that Gramps here might be all ka-pow, and then." Pascal said to Hubert. "Wait, you're 22?" Alice asked Pascal. "I didn't mean the subject of your age." Hubert said to Pascal. "What;s your problem today?" William asked Hubert, as Sophie walked to Huubert. "Don't fight." Sophie said to Hubert, as she shook her head. Hubert turned away from everyone. "Sorry about that, Pascal." Asbel said to Pascal. "Oh, no worries! It doesn't bother me." Pascal said to everyone, before they all got onto the ship.

After sailing Sophie was out on the back deck overlooking the sea with Golett thinking. 'I have no memories of my past. All I can remember is being with Asbel and the others when we were children… They say I died protecting them. What does it mean to die? And why does it scare me? Everything is so cloudy. So dark. I want to remember, but I'm afraid… Will I die again someday? And then meet everyone again like I did this time?" Sophie thought, but then a voice got her attention. That voice was Hubert.

"I refuse to trust people I know nothing about." Hubert said, as Sophie noticed Hubert talking to William and Asbel, while Magcargo, Boltund, and Drizzile where else. "You know nothing about them, because you refuse to talk to them." William said to Hubert, as Sophie and Golett walked to them. "Come one, Hubert. You still doubt them?" Asbel asked Hubert. "Ha! If anything, my doubts have grown more urgent." Hubert said to Asbel. "That, or your daddy issues control you. Either way. It's not their fault you refuse to get to know them." William said to Hubert. "Those two are hiding something. Mark my words." Hubert said to William, as Sohpie and Golett reached them. "Uh guys." William said, as they noticed Sophie and Golett.

"You dislike people you know nothing about?" Sophie asked Hubert. "Y-Yes, I suppose I do." Hubert said to Sophie, making Sophie walk closer to Hubert. "So you don't like me?" Sophie asked Huubert, surprising the guys. "I don't know anything about myself. Does that mean you dislike me?" Sophie asked Hubert. "No, it's not… You're not hiding things from s, Sophie. You just can't remember." Hubert said to Sophie. "How do you know? You hardly talk to Sophie or know her. How do you know she's not some master assassin on a mission to kill all world leaders?" William asked Hubert.

"Well I just do. She isn't hiding things from us, like the others are doing." Hbert said to William. "Are they hiding something? Or are you afraid to open up to people because of what your father did?" William asked Hubert. Hubert then growled a little. "William, is it okay to not know if it's because the person forgot?" Sophie asked William. "I don't know Sophie." William said to Sophie. "Sophie, where's all this coming from?" Asbel asked Sophie. "Nowhere. It's... nothing." Sophie to Asbel, before walking away with Golett.

After another hour of sailing they made it to a port of a large metal city. "So this is Fendel's capital, huh?" Asbel said, as he took in the sights. "The fog sure is thick here." Cheria said to everyone. Steam is the main source of power in Zavhert. The fog you see comes from their machines." Hubert said to Cheria. "You sure studied up on this place." Asbel said to Huubert. "It's common sense to know about your potential enemies." Hubert said to Asbel. "Is Strahta planning to war with Fendel?" Asbel asked Hubert.

"Only the fools like Huubert here are planning for that." Alice said to Asbel. "What do you mean?" Asbel asked Alice. "Both Fendel and Strahta have a doom prophecy. That saids if either of them attack the other one, Windor would intervene and destroy both of them." Alice said to Asbel. 'Giving that Strahta worships Kyogre, and Fendel worships Groudon, I think, and Windor worships Rayquaza. That doom prophecy makes perfect sense to me.' William thought, rolling his eyes.

"You know that prophecy is just nonsense they teach in church to keep Strahta and Fendel from fighting. And you know that possibility has been under some consideration." Hubert said to Alice. "Yes, your war profite father has been very vocal in his opinion about that war." Alice said to Hubert.

"But no matter what happens, it would leave Lhant caught in the middle!" Cheria said to everyone. "Is it just me, or do all the problems of the world end up in Lhant?" William asked everyone. "We can discuss such matters later. We should go before the guards become suspicious." Malik said to everyone. "Right. Keep your eyes peeled for anyone who might be able to help us." Asbel said to everyone.

After walking around for a bit and talking to a few people. Some yelled at them. "Hold it!" A voice said, making everyone stop. Then four Fendel soldiers and a small creature that looked like a flower, with a pink base, yellow steam, a cup shape with a black core with two yellow eyes, and eight tentacles starting from the top of the cut. This creature was on one of the shoulders of one of the soldiers, and they all came running up to everyone. "An Lileep." William said, as the soldiers and flower creature stopped in front of them. "A what?" Asbel asked William. William pulled out his Pokedex.

Lileep

The Sea Lily Pokemon

A Grass / Rock Type Pokemon

This Pokemon was restored from a fossil. Lileep once lived in warm seas that existed approximately 100,000,000 years ago.

"You're not from Febdel! Who are you?!" The soldier with the Lileep on his shoulder asked everyone. "Damn." Hubert said to himself, as William put his Pokedex away "Step aside. I'll take care of this." Malik whispered to Hubert, before walking to the soldier. "We've just returned from a mission in Windor." Malik saud to the soldier. "Windor? What kind of an idiot do you take me for?!" The soldier asked Malik. "My name is Malik Caesar. I have my credentials right here." Malik to the soldier, as he pulled out some papers. The soldier then took the papers and read them.

"Well, this... all seems to be in order." the soldier said to malik. "I trust this clears up our little misunderstanding? Now with your leave, we must report to Chancellor Eigen." Malik said to the soldier. "You're meeting with the chancellor?!" Another soldier asked Malik. Malik nodded yes. "Yes, And I would hate to inform him that you were the reason we were delayed." Malik said to the soldiers. "Please, no! I'm sorry! Come on men, let's get out of here!" the soldier with the Lileep said to the other soldiers, before they all left.

Once the soldiers and Lileep left, everyone looked at Malik. "Frankly, I'm surprised they fell for that." Malik said to everyone. "How in the world did you get Fendelian military credentials?" Asbel asked Malik. "I had them prepared some time ago. Just in case." Malik said to Asbel. "You had them prepared? Huh." Hubert said to Malik. "Let's hurry up. There's no telling when they might catch on." Maliks said to everyone, before they started to move again.

After talking to a few more people they learned that the government was experimenting on the valkines, with the help of the Amarcians, who were thought to be long dead. "It sounds like Fendel really is conducting experiments on their valkines. But we still don't know where it is." Asbel said to everyone. "I'm still surprised the Amarcians are apparently helping them." Cheria said to Asbel. "Me too. I thought they were all extinct." Asbel said to everyone.

"Man, this is bad, this is really, really bad." Pascal said, getting everyone's attention. "What are you getting so worked up about?" Asbel asked Pascal. "See, Fendel's valkines is kinda wonky, so it's really hard to extract eleth from it. It's also really dangerous to extract eleth from it. And if this little experiment of theirs falls… Boom." Pascal said to Asbel. "Um, what do you mean, boom?" Asbel asked Pascal. "I mean BOOOOM! Like the entire country of Fendel being wiped off the map?! That kinda boom." Pascal said to Asbel, surprising everyone.

"How sure are you?" Alice asked Pascal. "Pretty sure. Remember that crater we saw on the way here? That was when a cryas of "thiiiis big'' decided to explode." Pascal said to Alice, whole showed them an inch of space with her fingers. "Tiny cryas, huge crater. Now think about what would happen if the entire valkines exploded!" Pascal said to Alice. "Bye bye Fendel." Alice said. "How do you know all this, Pascal?" Cheria asked Pascal. "Because I made the crater." Pascal said to Cheria, like it was no big deal.

"What?"Alice asked Pascal. "That's why I know this is bad. I'm pretty sure they're using my research for their valkines experiment. I knew it as soon as I saw those soldiers' weapons at Warrior's roost. The principles are totally based on my work." Pascal said to everyone. "But wait. I thought they were using Amarcian technology?" Asbel asked Pascal. "Yeah, they are. I'm an Amarcian." Pascal said to Asbel, sooking everyone even more. "What?!" Asbel asked Pascal. "Oh, did I not tell you that? I coulda sworn I mentioned it at some point…" Pascal said to Asbel. "You never did. Not once." William said to Pascal.

"Yeah, so hey. I have an idea. Let's go visit the Amarcian Enclave. There's gotta be something useful there. We might even learn where the valkines is." Pascal said to everyone. "Is it nearby?" Asbel asked Pascal. "Well, it's not super nearby, but… you know. It's in Fendel." Pascal said to Asbel. "Huh. Well, I suppose it can't hurt." Asbel said to everyone. "Not like we've got anything better options." William said to everyone.

"Hold on." Hubert said, getting everyone's attention. Hubert then walked to Pascal. "Why have you been keeping your Amarcian origins a secret? What is it you don't want us to know?" Hubert asked Pascal, surprising everyone. "Huh? I didn't tell you because you didn't ask." Pascal said to Hubert. "While I find that reasoning silly. I agree with Pascal. All you had to do was talk to her." William said to Hubert.

This made Hubert mad and turned to Malik. "And you! That little show you put on earlier was far too convincing. Perhaps there's more truth there than you would care to have us know!" Hubert said to Malik. "Hubert, stop it." Asbel said to Hubert. "Yeah, is now really the time for your paranoia?" William asked Hubert. "Oh, right. I suppose you two don't find this suspicious in the least?" Hubert asked Asbel and William.

"It's all right, Asbel and William. He's correct. I am originally from Fendel. However, this is the first time I've been back in over 20 years." Malik said to Asbel and William. "I knew it…" Hubert said. "Knew what? That he was born in Fendel?" William asked Hubert. "I meant that they're all liars." Hubert said to William.

"Asbel. You still want to travel with them after all this? Malik lied about his origins, and Pascal thinks we need to ask if she's a member of an extinct race! I suppose lies and deception just come naturally to these people? I'm sorry, Asbel, but I cannot abide allies who engage in deceit. I will go no further with them at my side." Hubert said to Asbel.

"Then stay here and die for all we care." Alice said to Hubert. "Alice!" Asbel said to Alice. "Would you rather travel with them than me?" Hubert asked Alice. "Without question. After all Pascal might be strange, but she is smart and I trust her and maybe she should have asked her about her family. And Malik may have not told us about his origins, but he is truly loyal and is a master fighter. You on the other hand. What do you bring to this team?" Alice asked Hubert.

"I bring strategies and I have the resources to do things." Hubert said to Alice. "Really? Cause from where I stand all you do is whine and complain about how we do things. You look at our friends like their enemy prisoners." Alice said to Hubert. "But they are the enemy." Hubert said to Alice. "And you are a little kid angry at his dead father for trading him away!" Alice said to Hubrt, shocking everyone.

"Look Hubert I don't know what it's been like for you. And frankly I don't care. But now you have a choice, stay with us and help us complete our mission. Or you can die here, alone?" Alice said to Hubert. "But you'll need me." Hubert said to Alice. "Your use ended the second we got on the boat from Warrior's Roots." Alice said to Hubert. "This is madness!" Hubert said to Alice. "No, it's the truth. And the truth is, besides Asbel, I don't think there's a single person in the world that would hang out with you willingly. I don't even know why Drizzile is still with you?" Alice said to Hubert. (Actually she has a point? Why am I still with you?) Drizzile asked Hubert.

"Alice, Hubert, calm down." Asbel said to them, before more soldiers appeared and surrounded them. With the soldiers were Lileep and a small shell creature with them. The shell creature had a brown shell, a pitch black body, big red eyes, and four small yellow hook-like legs. Both the shell creature and the Lileep were both on two different soldiers' shoulders.

"There they are!" a soldier said, as they surrounded everyone. "More soldiers and a Lileep and a Kabuto. Why not." William said, as she pulled out his Pokedex. "A Kabuto?" Asbel asked William. William then flipped open his Pokedex.

Kabuto

The Shellfish Pokemon

A Water / Rock Type Pokemon

This species is almost entirely extinct. Kabuto molts every three days, making their shells harder and harder.

"Malik Caesar has been dead for years! Now identify yourself!" A soldier asked everyone, as William put his Pokedex away. "Interesting. So that's how the records show me." Malik said. "I am hereby placing you and your companions under arrest!" a soldier said to Malik. "Uh oh. Time to hit the road, guys!" Asbel said to everyone.

(Not happen. Aqua Jet.) Kabuto said to Asbel in a male voice, before jumping off the shoulder he was riding and shot forward, while wrapped in water, making it look like a bullet made of water. Kabuto circled everyone. (Me help. Acid.) Lileep said in a female voice before shooting out a burst of acid at everyone, lucky they all dodged the acid. "We don't have time for this Magcargo use Rock Slide." William said to Magcargo. (On it.) Magcargo said before dropping rock from the sky. The rock blocked the soldiers and more soldiers that were coming, gave them cover from Lileep Acid, made Kabuto crash, and gave them an escape route, which they used immediately.

After escaping the soldiers they found themselves on the outskirts of the city. "Okay. we should be safe here." Asbel said to everyone. "For now anyway." William said to Asbel. "What do we do now?" Cheria asked everyone. "Are you sure you don't wanna go to the Amarcian enclave? We're pretty much heading that direction already anyway." Pascal asked everyone. But before anyone could answer her, she noticed Hubert still did not like her, and moved to him. "It's a little cold, but it's still super nice. Come on!" Pascal said, as she pulled on Hubert's right arm.

"S-Stop! Let go of me!" Hubert said to Pascal. "Just deal with it, Hubert. After all, you can either follow her or go back into the town, and get caught by Fendel's soldiers." Alice said to Hubert. Hubert then groaned, before they all started to move.

They walked for a while, climbing a mountain, and as they got closer to the top, Sophie stopped everyone. "I just heard something…" Sophie said to everyone. They all looked around. "Look!" Malik said, as he grabbed his weapon. That's when everyone noticed a big warthog monster with a bone face, and a rhino like horn. "It's just another stupid animal. No need to panic." Hubert said to everyone, turning his back to the warthog. "No! Don't turn your back on him, Little Bro!" Pascal said to Hubert, before the warthog charged at Hubert.

Pascal noticed this, and pushed Hubert out of the way of the warthog's attack, and dodged the attack. Well most of the attack, one of the warthog's tusks gave her a good scratch. "Pascal?" Hubert said in disbelief. "Ow… You okay, Little Bro?" Pascal asked Hubert, as Cheria ran to her.

"Everyone, it's coming back." William said to everyone, as they pulled out their weapons. "Stand ready! The harsh climate has turned ordinary monsters into rampaging beats. They'll charge at the slightest opportunity." Malik said to everyone, as they all got into a fighting formation. "Here it comes!" Malik said to everyone, as the beast charged at everyone. "Magcargo use Rock Slide." William said to Magcargo. (Right.) Magcargo said before she summoned rocks from the sky, dropping them right in front of the warthog.

But the warthog smashed right through the rocks with its horn. "Well that didn't work." William said as everyone scattered, from the charging warthog. "Growlithe use Flame Wheel." Malik said to Growlithe, as he tossed his weapon. (Right.) Growlithe said, before jumping up, and rolled, while incase of fire. The warthog used it's tusk to block Malik's weapon. But it didn't dodge Growlithe's attack. Growlithe was able to hit the right side of the warthog. But it didn't do much. "It's got a thick hide." William said to everyone. "Just keep hitting it. Boltund use Thunder Fang." Asbel said to William and Boltund, as he and William charged at the warthog. (Right behind you.) Boltund said, as he followed Asbel and William, with his fangs covered in electricity.

The Asbel and William ramebed their weapons into the warthog, and Boltund jumped onto the warthog's back and bit into it. All this made the warthog bounce up and down, forcing William and Asbel back, but not before giving Asbel a slash from it's horn, and making Boltund hold on for dear life. "Asbel." Cheria said, as she ran to Asbel, and healed him.

Meanwhile the warthog was able to tossed Boltund into the air. (I got you Boltund. Confusion.) Kirlia said to Boltund, as her eyes turned teal. Then a teal outline appeared on Boltund, and stopped him mid-air. Then Boltund was placed on the ground. (Thanks Kirlia.) Boltund said to Kirlia. "Elgyem help me with Psybeam." Pascal said to Elgyem, as she fired a few magic shots at the warthog. (Sure.) Elgyem said to Pascal, before he fired a mutley color beam that moved in the shape of a sharp wavelength. All of these attacks didn't do much and got the warthogs attention. The warthog then charged at Pascal.

"Golett use Iron Defence." Sophie said to Golett, as she and Golett moved in front of Pascal. Golett said nothing, as his arms turned silver. Then Sophie and Golett used hands to block the horn of the warthog, and then forced the warthog into the air. The warthog then crashed hard into the ground.

"Ducklett use Water Pulse." Alice said to Ducklett. "You too Drizzile." Hubert said to Drizzile. (On it.) Ducklett said to Alice, as she fired a ball of water at the warthog. (would it hurt you to say please?) Drizzle asked Hubert, before he fired a ball of water at the warthog. The two balls hit the warthog, covering it and water and making it madder.

The warthog then charged at Alice, Hubert, Ducklett, and Drizzle. (Protect.) Ducklett said, as she put a green bubble around her and Alice, blocking the warthog's attack. Hubert dodged it and slashed at the warthog, as he passed it's right side, leaving a deep cut in it. Drizzile on the other hand just jumped a little, and landed right on the warthog's face, like he was a sticky toy.

(Okay, so maybe I didn't think this through.) Drizzle said, as he held onto the warthog. Then Drizzile noticed the cut Hubert left. (Let's see how this beast likes this. Sucker Punch.) Drizzile said, as he moved onto the warthog's right tusk and quickly punched the wound.

This caused a lot of pain to the warthog. This made it stop and shake violently, tossing Drizzile off. (That worked. So let's try it again. Water Pulse.) Drizzile said as he tossed another water ball at the warthog. It hit and got the warthog's attention. The warthog then charged at Drizzile. Drizzile stood still, planning to counter it. But even though he dodged the initial attack, and got ready to hit the wound. The warthog used it's right tusk, and slammed it into Drizzile's stomach, dealing some damage and sending Drizzile flying a little. "Drizzile. Leave him alone." Hubert said to the warthog, as he and the others started to fight the warthog.

Meanwhile Drizzile was pulling himself together. (That didn't work. But I Know I can do it.) Drizzile said, as he got up. (I just need to relax and focus.) Drizzile said, closing his eyes. (Relax and focus.) Drizzile said, as he took a deep breath. When he exhaled, he started to glow light blue. This light got the attention of everyone, the Pokemon, and the warthog.

As the Drizzile glowed her grew, becoming taller than Hubert, and really skinny, his head was now in a cone shape, a large single fin on the back of his head, a cap, his tail got longer, his glove hands turned into hands, and his feet now had three toes. When the light faded, they saw his new colors. With his body and legs, looking like a black and blue skin tight jumpsuit, light blue arms, tail, and neck, black hands, yellow cap, and a yellow fin.

"Drizzile evolves into Inteleon know." William said, as he slapped his hand into his face. "Inteleon?" Hubert asked William. "Here, Hubert." Asbel said to Hubert, pulling out the book and flipping through the pages.

Inteleon

The Secret Agent Pokemon

A Water Type Pokemon

Its nictitating membranes let it pick out foes' weak points so I can precisely blast them with water that shoots from its fingertips at Mach 3.

(Come on piglet. I want to test out my new move.) Inteleon said to the warthog, taunting the warthog, as Asbel put the book away. The warthog then charged at Inteleon. Inteleon then dodged it again. And again the warthog used it's right tusk. But unlike last time, Inteleon's cap turned hard, and allowed Inteleon glide, and easily dodged the warthog's attack. Inteleon then pointed his right index finger at the wound Hubert left. (Sniper Shot.) Inteleon said, as he fired a concentrated burst of water from his index finger, into the wound, going clean threw the warthog, killing it. (That takes care of that.) Inteleon said, as he blew on his right index finger, as everyone gathered around the dead warthog.

"That was a close one." Cheria said to everyone. "Yeah, and we owe it all to Inteleon and his new move Sniper Shot." William said to everyone. "Sniper Shot. I like it." Hubert said, as he looked at the dead warthog. "This beast is more fierce than I imagined." Asbel said to everyone.

"Are you all right, Pascal?" Sophie asked Sophie, making everyone but Hubert look at Pascal. "Oh yeah. I'm groovy. He just winged me is all." Pascal said to Sophie. "After all those things I said to you… why did you help me?" Hubert asked Pascal, turning to her. "Muh? One of our team was in danger, what did you think I'd do?" Pascal asked Hbert. "Our team…" Hubert said. "That's right, whether you like it or not. We're a team, and we trust each other." Alice said to Hubert.

"You were hurt because of me. I'm sorry, Pascal." Hubert said to Pascal. "Did I hear that right? Did Hubert just apologize?" William asked everyone. "Yep. And, no worries, Little Bro!" Pascal said to William and Hubert, cracking a smile. "How can you smile after all that?" Hubert asked Pascal. "And Captain Malik. You have a right to be angry with me as well." Hubert said to Malik. "Even the fiercest warrior can be undone by a single mistake." Malik saud to Hubert.

Hubert then started to think. "I agree…" Hubert said to malik, after he finished thinking. "However, you see your mistake and own up to them, Hubert. With that maturity, you're unlikely to make the same error in judgment again." Malik said to Hubert. "Hehe. it's like you're teaching me all over again, Captain." Asbel said to Malik. "I expected you to be far angrier with me." Hubert said to Malik. "I've no need to scold a man who is clearly punching himself." Malik said to Hubert. "Th-Thank you, Captain Malik." Hubert said to Malik.

"And besides, no one was hurt. We were lucky, but it's over now. Right, Pascal?" Malik said to Hubert, and asked Pascal. "Right as rain, Cap'n!" Pascal said to Malik. "No… No, that's not acceptable. I owe you debt and it must be paid." Hubert said to Pascal. "Huh. Well that's kinda weird, but y'okay. Howzabout you carry Mr. Boar back to the Amarcian enclave for me?" Pascal asked Hubert, as she pointed to the dead warthog.

"W-Wait. Carry this? By myself?" Hubert asked Pascal. "What, no good? It's loaded with protein and essential vitamins, so I was hoping to bring it back and share the love." Pascal said to Hubert. "This boar is... really big." Asbel said to everyone. "Okay, forget it. In that case…" Pascal said to everyone, before walking towards Hubert, and grabbing his hand. "You have to promise to be my friend!" Pascal sadto Hubert, shaking his hand wildly. "P-Pascal…" Hubert said to Pascal, as Pascal stopped shaking his hand. "Now come on. We're almost at the enclave!" Pascal said to everyone, as she led the way.

After walking for a bit they found a teleporter and stepped into it, teleporting them to a hidden city that looked like the ruins they saw under the Fortress. "This is the Amarcian enclave? I've never seen anything like it." Cheria said, as everyone took in the sight. Everyone but William, who was currently throwing up over the edge of the teleporter.

"I grew up in Fendel and I never even knew this place existed." Malik said to everyone. "Yeah, we've been helping Fendel here and there for a while, but we have to keep it all. Shhh. Anyway, let's head over to my place first. Come on!" Pascal said to everyone. "Give me a second." William said, before throwing up again.

After William pulled himself together, Pascal led them to her place. And after walking for a bit, they entered a small room, on the edge of the city. Inside the room was full of random junk, scattered around the room. "My room! It's… it's… It's clean!" Pascal said, surprising everyone. "This is clean to you?" William asked Pascal, gesturing all of his arms to the mess. "I'm now worried about what you call filth." Alice said to Pascal.

"Is this a trash dump?" Sophie asked everyone. "Sophie!" Cheria said to Sophie. "This is NOT cool! You don't just go cleaning up people's rooms when they've only been gone for like a second!" Pascal said, as she started to dig through her junk. "When were you last here, Pascal?" Asbel asked Pascal. "I dunno. About three years ago?" Pascal said to Asbel, surprising everyone.

"I'm not sure you can really complain if you've been gone that long…" Asbel said to Pascal, before Pascal turned to everyone. "I knew it! Someone yoinked all my cyras notes!" Pascal said to everyone. "Are you sure it's not just somewhere else in this place?" William asked Pascal. "No it was where, and now it is not." Pascal said to William. "So someone's been using your research to help Fendel with their experiment?" Cheria asked Pascal. "Yeah, but who? Hey, we should ask the overseer. She's gotta know something!" Pascal said to everyone.

"The Overseer? Is that your leader?" Malik asked Pascal. "Yep! She's old. Like, super old! She's so old she doesn't even know how old she is! Anyway, enough about that. Let's go see her!" Pascal said to everyone, before leasing the way.

After walking for a few minutes, they made it to a metal door, with the Amarcian symbol on it. "Overseer? Ooooverseer! Hey, are ya there?" Pascal said to the metal door. Then a small woman, with pale skin, long white hair that turned into purple, with two stands on the sides of her head, and a red ball tied near the end of her hair, wearing a green dress over a black shirt, and a purple armband.

Following the girl was a light blue creature that walked on four short legs, a light blue crystal on both sides on ot's body, a small cone tail, a long neck that made it almost as tall as Asbel, blue eyes, and two small yellow sails over its eyes.

"You don't have to shout. We can hear you just fine." The girl said to Pascal. (That's right. No need to yell.) The creature said to Pascal, with a female voice. "Hey, Poisson! Long time no see! And who is this cutie?" Pascal asked the girl. "That's Amaura." William said to Pascal, as he pulled out his Pokedex.

Amaura

The Tundra Pokemon

A Ice / Rock Type Pokemon

Amaura is an ancient Pokemon that has gone extinct. Specimens of this species can sometimes be found frozen in ice.

"If you don't mind I need to talk to Pascal." Poisson said to William. "Sure." William said to Poisson, as he put his Pokedex away. "Pascal, you know it's against the rules to bring outsiders here." Poisson said to Pascal. "Aw, come on, don't be like that! Is the Overseer here? I gotta ask her some stuff." Pascal said to Poisson. "The Overseer has long since stopped speaking with others. If you wish to talk to her, you must do so through me." Poisson said to Pascal.

"Okay, sure. It'll be good practice, since you're eventually gonna be the next Overseer. So, uh, can we get into the Archive of Wisdom?" Pascal asked Poisson. Poisson then turned to the metal door and whispered. "What's the Archive of Wisdom?" William asked Pascal, while Poisson talked to the metal door. "The archive's been around for centuries. It's basically a big hall where we store everything we've ever learned. It's crammed full of totally awesome stuff, and I've been wanting to check it out for a while!" Pascal said to William. "Why do I have the feeling you're using our problems as an excuse to get inside this archive?" William said to Pascal, as Poisson finished talking to the metal door.

"The Overseer says that none but herself may enter the Archive of Wisdom." Poisson said to Pascal. "Yeah, I know what SHE'S gonna say. I want YOU to let us in! Geez, don't be so uptight!" Pascal said to Poisson. "Maybe you're not uptight enough, Pascal." Poisson said to Pascal, pacing her hands on her hips. "Poisson, did you know Fendel is running experiments on the valkines?" Pascal asked Poisson. "Of course. What of it?" Poisson asked Pascal. "What of it? If we don't put a stop to 'em ASAP, things are gonna get really bad, really fast." Pascal said to Poisson.

"The Overseer and I were informed that everything is proceeding just fine." Poisson said to Pascal. "Poisson. Listen. I'm pretty sure they're using my old research. I stopped working on that research because I couldn't get it to work. Extracting eleth was doable, but once the output reached a certain rate, things would get all out of control. If they used that on the valkines, it's gonna be tortally catastrophic." Pascal said to Poisson. (That's not good. Maybe you should talk to the Overseer again.) Amaura said to Poisson.

Poisson then talked to the metal door again for a bit. "The Overseer says we have no authority to interfere in such matters." Poisson said to Pascal. "Okaaay. Then tell me who's doing the experimenting. I'll talk to 'em myself. Heck, it's probably the same person who took my research in the first place." Pascal said to Poisson. "Your sister is in charge of the project." Poisson said to Pascal. "Fourier?! I should have guessed. So is she here or what?" Pascal asked Poisson.

Poisson shook her head no. "No. She left some time ago and is currently operating her own laboratory. It's from this laboratory that Amarua comes forms." Poisson said to Pascal. "No kiddin'? Well, howzabout you tell me where it is and I'll go chat her up?" Pascal asked Poisson. "Did you see a sign on your way up from Zavhert where the road splits in two? If you take the other path from there, you'll find Fourier's laboratory at the end." Poisson said to Pascal. "Nice! Thanks, Poisson!" Pascal said to Poisson.

"Sorry guys, but I gotta run down to that lab and see what's going on." pPascal said to everyone. "We'll go as well. It sounds pretty serious. Besides, if this leads to the valkines, it will eventually lead us to Richard. It makes sense for everyone." Asbel said to Pascal. "And I'm interested in meeting this sister of yours." William said to Pascal. "Aw, thanks you guys. All right, let's hit the road!" Pascal said to everyone, before they started to leave.

After leaving the Enclave, and William throwing up, they started to walk down the mountain. After finding the path, and walking down it for a bit. They found themselves in front of a really large metal building. "I had no idea Fourier's laboratory would be so huge! That's my sister for ya!" Pascal said to everyone. "Looks more like a fortress than a lab." Alice said to Pascal. "Pascal, what is she like?" Sophie asked Pascal.

"My sis? Well a year older than me, totally smart. She's accomplished all kinds of stuff! I guess she's my idol. I used to run around and copy whatever she did. So anyway, I'm sure she'll understand when we explain what's going on." Pascal said to everyone. "Could the valkines be inside this laboratory?" Hubert asked Pascal. "That would be awesome, huh? But yeah, I dunno. Right now, we should just try and find Fourier." Pascal said to everyone.

While walking around they looked in a few rooms. In one very large room, they found some small open crates, and some machinery. "Oh let's see what they have here." Pascal said, before digging in the creaties. "Oh shiny." Pascal said, as she pulled out a few light green stones with a yellow sun light color core. "A Sunny Stone." William said. "You know what that is?" Alice asked William. "Yes, it's a stone that some Pokemon use to evolve." William said to Alice.

"Cool, let's see what else we have in here." Pascal said, as she dropped the Sunny Stones, and moved to another chest. "Cool, this one looks like water." Pascal said, as she pulled out a blue stone, with air bubbles in it. "That's a Water Stone." William said to Pascal, before she put it down and ran to another crate. "And this?" Pascal asked William, pulling out a purple stone that grows darker the closer it was to the center. "A Dusk Stone." William said to Pascal, as she put down the stone and ran to another box. "And this?" Pascal said, pulling out a stone with a single arrow like feather on.

"That's a Plume Fossil!" William said with a shock tune in his voice. "A Plume Fossil?" Asbel asked William. "It's the fossil for the ancient Pokemon Archen." William said to Asbel. "So this is the fossil of a Pokemon like Amarua and the others?" Hubert asked William. "Yes. From what we've seen here. Fendel must have dug all this up, and sent it here to see what it is. And I guess somewhere along the way Pascal's sister, I think, found a way to revive them. But why is still a mystery to me." William said to everyone.

"I've heard that Fendel has been investing in biological weaponry. Perhaps this lab is used to facilitate it." Malik said to William. "Makes you wonder what else they made here?" William asked everyone, before they heard a roar.

They turned their heads to see two creatures, one looking like a monster lion with wings. The other creature was a large grey creature, with a large round body, a long tail, two let's with three toes in it, to in the front and one on the back, two large wings with three fingers on each of them on the second to last bump of the wings, a large head, with a big mouth with sharp teeth in it, two small horns in the back, and some green eyes.

"A monster and an Aerodactyl." William said to everyone. "An Aerodactyl?" HUbert asked William, as William pulled out his Pokedex.

Aerodactyl

The Fossil Pokemon

A Flying / Rock Type Pokemon

This is a ferocious Pokemon from ancient times. Apparently even modern technology is incapable of producing a perfectly restored specimen.

"Well at least now we know one of the powerful Fossil Pokemon we heard about." Alice said to everyone, as William put his Pokedex away. "Watch out guys! These two look like trouble!" Asbel said to everyone, as the lion started to attack. But everyone was able to dodge it. "Magcargo use Rock Slide." William said to Magcargo, as they pulled out their weapons. (Right.) Magcargo said before rock started to fall from the ceiling.

(Iron head.) Aerodactyl said, with a male voice, as the top of his head turned rough and silver. Then Aerodactyl slammed his head in the rocks, turning them to dust, meanwhile the lion just barely dodged them, getting a few scratches. (Crunch.) Aerodactyl said, as his sharp teeth glowed white and grew longer. Aerodactyl then bit into Magcargo and tossed her away. "Magcargo!" William said, before the lion attacked him. But William was able to hold it back, by putting his spear into its mouth.

"William! Boltund help me with Thunder Fang." Asbel said to Boltund, as he charged at the lion. (Right behind you.) Boltund said, as he followed Asbel, with his teeth sharp and full of electricity. Asbel then slashed under a wing of the light, while Boltund bit into the lion. This made the lion roar in pain.

Meanwhile Aerodactyl was charging at Pascal and Elgyem. "Elgyem use Psybeam." Pascal said, as she fired multiple magic shots at Aerodactyl. (Right.) Elgyem said to Pascal, before he fired a mutley color beam that moved in the shape of a sharp wavelength. But even with all these attacks hitting the mark, Aerodactyl was still charging at them. (Wing Attack.) Aerodactyl said, as he slammed one of his wings into Elgyem, sending him flying. Once Elgyem was gone, Aerodactyl turned to Pascal and tried to bite her. But Pascal used her staff to block Aerodactyl's attack, by putting it in his mouth.

"Leaver alone. Inteleon use Water Pulse." Hubert said to Inteleon, as he charged at Aerodactyl. (On it.) Inteleon said to Hubert, as he made a water ball on the tip of his right finger, and fired it at Aerodactyl. Aerodactyl noticed this and spit out Pascal's weapon. (Rock Blast.) Aerodactyl said, spitting out three large rocks from his mouth, the first one hitting the Water Pulse, breaking the rock and water ball, the second one, hitting Hubert in the gut, hurting him a little, and the third one hitting Inteleon, doing some damage. (Wing Attack.) Aerodactyl said, before slamming one of his wings into Pascal forcing her back.

"Pascal." Cheria said, as he ran to Pascal to heal her. (Get her.) Aerodactyl said, as he and the lion charged at Cheria. (Stay back you beast. Magical Leaf.) Kirlia said to Aerodactyl and the lion, as she hit her tutu, knocking out some leaves, Kirlia then twirled and kicked the leaves at Aerodactyl and the lion. Aerodactyl used his wings to block most of the leaves, but it still did some damage. And the lion took the full force of the attack.

Meanwhile William ran to Magcargo. "Magcargo are you alright?" William asked Magcargo. (Not really.) Magcargo said to William weakly. "Then use Recover." William said to Magacrgo. (Right. Why didn't I think of that.) Magcargo said before glowing white for a little bit. (Much better.) Magcargo said to William. "Good now use Flamethrower on that lion monster." William said to Magcargo. (No Problem.) Magcargo said, as she fired a stream of fire at the lion, "Ducklett help them, use Water Gun on that Aerodactyl." Alice said to Ducklett. (Got it.) Ducklett said, as she fired a steam of water at Aerodactyl.

But Aerodactyl was smart enough to dodge the stream of water. And the lion was not that smart and was lit on fire. (Crush you! Iron Head.) Aerodactyl said, as he charged at Alice, while his head turned silver and ruff. "Golett Iron Defence." Sophie said to Golett. Golett said nothing, and turned his arms silver. Then Alice used her shield to block Aerodactyl attack, while Sophie and Golett helped her, by putting their arms on the back of the shield.

"Growlithe use Flamewheel." Malik said to Growlithe, as he tossed his weapon at Aerodactyl. (On it.) Growlithe said as he jumped up and rolled into a fire wheel, following Malik's weapon. Aerodactyl noticed this and jumped back, allowing Malik's weapon to hit the lion and not him. (Crunch.) Aerodactyl said, as Growlithe rolled past him. Aerodactyl then clamped down into Growlithe, stopping his attack, and holding onto him before shaking him. "Growlithe!" Malik said to Growlithe. (Be gone.) Aerodactyl said, as he tossed Growlithe into a crate, smashing it, and sending its contents flying all over the room.

Then a light got everyone's attention. Everyone noticed the light was coming from Growlithe, who was growing bigger. Once the light faded everyone could see Growlithe new form, which looked like a bigger, haier version of his old form. "An Arcanine." Asbel said to everyone. "An Arcanine?" Cheria asked Asbel. "Here." Asbel said, pulling out the book.

Arcanine

The Legendary Pokemon

A Fire Type Pokemon

The fire burning inside its body serves as the energy to fuel it as it runs great distances. It appears in many legends.

"But the book said it evolves by a Fire Stone? So how did it evolve?" Asbel asked, as he put the book away. William looked down at his feet and saw an orange stone, with a flame inside it. "Looks like that crate was full of Fire Stones." William said to Asbel.

(Take this. My new move. Extreme Speed.) Arcanine said, before disappearing and reappearing behind Aerodactyl and the lion. Then a gust of wind hit Aerodactyl forcing him into the lion, and making the two of them crash into a wall. "What was Extreme Speed?" William said to everyone. "Thar wasn't Extreme Speed. It was super awesome lighting speed!" Pascal said to everyone, as Aerodactyl and the monster got up.

"Malik have Arcanine run around them with Extreme Speed." William said to Malik. "You heard him Arcanine." Malik said to Arcanine. (No it.) Arcanine said, as he started to run around Aerodactyl and the lion at high speed, making a red circle around them. (Not stop me! Iron Head!) Aerodactyl said as he slammed his sliver and ruff head into Arcanine, but Arcanine was moving too fast to get hit. "Magcargo, quick Rock Slide." William said to Magcargo. (You got it.) Magcargo said, as she made rocks fall from the sky right above Aerodactyl and the lion.

The rocks buried the two of them. (I'm not done yet.) Aerodactyl said he dug himself out of the rocks, making everyone see the lion was dead. "That's enough." A female voice said to Aerodactyl. "I'm supposed you were able to defeat my veres. But even more surprising, my Aerodactyl put up a better fight than my Veres." The female voice said to everyone.

Everyone turned to see a girl that looked like an orderly vision of Pascal, with fancier clothes on. "Fourier!" Pascal said to the woman, as she ran to the woman. "So this is your sister Pascal?" Alice asked Pascal. "Yep." Pasal said to Alice. "P-Pascal? Is that you? Good heavens, I thought someone was trying to steal my work." Fourier said to Pascal.

"Wow! I can't believe you built the veres, revived Aerodactyl, and everything! You're amazing, Sis!" Pascal said to Fourier. "It would've been more amazing if you hadn't defeated it so easily. But I'm glad Aerodactyl was giving you a hard time." Fourier said to Pascal, surprising everyone. "What a caring sister." William sarcastically said to everyone.

"So what are you doing here?" Fourier asked everyone. "For multiple reasons, but I'm interested in Aerodactyl to be honest. I never thought I would see a fossil Pokemon in this world." William said to Fourier. "Really it was simple. Fendel gave me these crates of new stones to test. And while examining a few of them. I found DNA in them. I then exempt the DNA and found it had great potential in it. I then used my knowledge of Biology to create one. It was small but it landed a large hard blue head." Fourier said to William. "Cranidos." William said.

"Right. At first I was unimpressed. But that, Cranidos I think you call it, used it's hard head to crush one of my other creations like veres. I then made more and gave them to the military to test them, but I wanted to know which was better. My veres or my Aerodactyl, and so I had them fight you." Fourier said to William. "While I'm mad at that. I have to ask why?" William asked Fourier. "Simple my veres is easier to make in large numbers. But creatures like Aerodactyl take time to make. I wanted to see which is worth my time." Fourier said to William.

"But how can they live here in Fendel? Most fossil Pokemon live in tropical environments, they can't possibly survive here?" William asked Fourier. "I noticed that too in the DNA, so I made a change. I added energy from some fire cryas into their natural energy. It's not enough energy to have any big changes in its natural DNA, but it gives them the ability to generate their own heat. So even in the cold environment of Fendel. This creature's body temple will be kept at a nice topical temperature." Fourier said to William. "Why does the idea of playing with Fossil DNA give me a bad feeling?" William said to everyone.

"Speaking of bad ideas. We came to talk about Fendel's valkines cryas experiment." Pascal said to Fourier. "On Grobrannir? I'll have you know, I spent years working on the research used in that experiment! I may have used your work as a starting point, but what matters are results! You know that!" Fourier said to Pascal. "It's okay! I didn't come here to talk credit for anything. I know you've done a ton of work on it. But no matter how smart you are, sis, the research is still flawed." Pascal said to Fourier.

"And just what does that mean?" Fourier asked Pascal. "Um… Well, it's like... look, it's gonna be a lot faster if I can just show you." Pascal said to Fourier, before looking around. "Do you have any cryas fragments laying around? Like, maybe one the size of a bean?" Pascal asked Fourier, as everyone helped her. "How's this?" Sophie asked Pascal, after she picked up a very small red crystal. "That's perfect! Here, gimme." Pascal said to Sophie, taking the crystal.

Pascal then walked towards a machine and put the crystal in it. The crystal then started to glow a little. "Impressive, yes? No one has ever been able to extract eleth from fire cryas so efficiently." Fourier said to Pascal. "Yeah, but when we give this thingie a little chunka chunka…" Pascal said, as she started to play with the machine's controls. "Pascal, what are you doing?" Fourier asked Pascal. "Guys, you might wanna get back." Pascal said to everyone, as she ran away from the machine, and the crystal started to glow brighter. Fourier didn't move. But Asbel quickly grabbed her and pulled her away. Just before the crystal exploded, taking the machine with it.

Luckily no one was hurt, but they all were shocked by the explosion. "Wh-What just happened?" Fourier asked, as she walked to the wrecked machine. "See? That's the trouble with fire cyras. If you apply too much pressure when extracting the eleth, it starts a chain reaction. And once that happens, it starts accelerating all the surrounding eleth and then… Ka-pow! You can contain the damage when it's a handheld weapon or something, but with the valkines? It would be a total disaster." Pascal said to Fourier.

"So that's why you never finished your research…" Fourier said to Pascal. "Yeah, I saw where it was headed, so I just chucked the whole kit and kaboodle. And that's why we gotta stop the experiment before everybody gets blown up!" Pascal said to Fourier. But she just shook her head no. "I… I can't do that." Fourier said to Pascal. "Yeah, it might be tough for you to tell 'em, huh? Well, look howzabout you just show me where they are and I'll just do it?" Pascal asked Fourier.

"Are you trying to make a fool of me?" Fourier said to Pascal, getting mad. "Am I what now?" Pascal asked Fourier. "You "saw where it was headed"? You just worked it all out in your head?! Do you have any concept of how hard I've worked to complete the research you've abandoned?! You always do this. You mimic whatever I do, then just effortlessly do it better! I kill myself to be successful, and then you sweep in with your quick thinking and fancy talking and… and… and you just leap ahead of me like it's NOTHING!" Fourier said, venting her anger.

"Fourier, I…" Pascal said, lost for words. (Me crush her now?) Aerodactyl asked Fourier. "You will do nothing unless I say so." Fourier said with a commanding voice. (Yes ma-am.) Aerodactyl said to Fourier, bowing his head. "Fourier, we must get to the valkines cryas. Even if the experiment wasn't a danger, there's a different threat on the way. If we don't act now, it will be drained of its eleth, just like the other valkines." Asbel said to Fourier, surprising her.

"Wait, the other Valkines...?" Fourier asked Asbel. "The other two have been drained dry. Even the cryas are empty." Alice said to Fourier. "You're serious?" Fourier asked everyone. "Yes. So we have to stop it, no matter what. Please, Fourier. Tell us where Grobrannir is." Asbel asked Fourier.

"I don't know where it is. But the man in charge of the experiment does." Fourier said to Asbel, not looking him in the eyes. "Who's that?" Asbel asked Fourier. "Fendel's chief science officer, Kurt Bessel." Fourier said. "Kurt bessel!?" Malik said with a very surprised tune in his voice. "You know him, Captain?" Asbel asked Malik. "Yes. Though I never imagined we would meet again like this…" Malik said to Asbel. "Where can we find him?" Asbel asked Fourier. "The Ministry of Science is located in the capital, although I couldn't say if he's there at the moment." Fourier said to Asbel.

"That's better than nothing." William said to everyone. "Thank you. That's a good place to start. We'll try to speak with Kurt ourselves." Asbel said to Fourier, who was looking at a sad pascal. "Do as you like. It matters not to me." Fourier said to everyone. (Now leave.) Aerodactyl said to everyone, smacking his tail into the floor. Everyone understood what he was saying and left in a hurry, not wanting another fight with Aerodactyl.

Hello everyone please like, follow, or review if you like this story. And I know it was strange to have Inteleon and Arcanine in this chapter, but I thought the battle with the warthog and the battle in the lab would be the best places for them to evolve. I just thought they would be in two separate chapters, not the same one, aw well.
