In the Pokemon world lived a lonely boy named William. He had no friends or family, and only his first Pokemon Mudkip was with him. Then one day he found his way to Ephinea and he met Asbel Lhant. Soon the two of them became best friends, but when dark forces from the past and ancient secrets return to Ephinea can William and Asbel be able to save it or will it be lost.

14. Chapter 14

Sorry for the wait, I had to finish season 2 of my Korra story. Now here's chapter 14.

Chapter 14

The Lizards Path

After leaving Fouriers lab, Pascal was sad, and they stopped in front of the lab. "I never knew she felt that way about me. All this time… I've been making her miserable all this time… I… I should go and apologize!" Pascal said to everyone. "I don't think that will help. Fourier's problem isn't you. Pascal… It's Fourier. Her spirit has been crushed by years of doubt and self-loathing. Sympathy will only make the problem worse." Hubert said to Pascal. "I hate the fact that I agree with him." William said to Pascal.

"But I… I love her, ya know? I just wish she knew that." Pascal said to everyone. "Oh, Pascal…" Cheria said to Pascal, as Asbel walked to her. "Don't worry. She'll understand someday. You're the only one who can stop the valkines experiment now. Fourier knows that's true, even if she'll never admit it. If the experiments isn't stopped Fouier's work will end up killing a whole lot of people. And no one wants that. Especially not you." Asbel said to Pascal, as everyone else shook their heads in agreement.

"He's right. Helping us will save your sister's reputation, and maybe even her life. Pulse, we… we need you, Pascal. We can't do this alone. So come on. Pull yourself together and let's go." Hubert said to Pascal. Pascal then started to cry a little and whip her eyes. "Aw, little Bro… Th-Thanks, guys. You're the best." Pascal said to everyone, before Sophie ran to her, and petted her head.

"That was all right, Hubert." Asbel said to Hubert. "I know what she's going through. And besides, it would be far too quiet if she weren't around. Now can we all stop talking and just head for Zavhert? There's no time to waste." Hubert said as everyone started to move.

After a bit of walking they made it to Zavhert, and hid in a secluded part of the city, planning their next move. "Fourier said that Kurt is Fendel's chief science officer." Asbel said to everyone. "There's a place called Fendel Tower North of the city that houses the government agencies. I wager we'll find the Ministry of Science there." Malik said to everyone, before they started to move.

While walking they ran into a girl with grey hair, and wearing a brown and grey uniform. "Pascal! What are you doing here?" the woman asked Pascal. "Fermat!" Pascal said to the woman. "You know each other?" Asbel asked Pascal. "Of course! Everyone, this is Fermat. She's an Amarcian like me." Pascal said to everyone. "Nice to meet you, everyone." Fermat said to everyone, bowing. "To you as well." Alice said to Fermat, as they all bowed to her.

"So you work for Fendel now, right Fermat?" Pascal asked Fermat. "That's right. Actually, I work at Fendel Tower. The security is such a pain!" Fermat said to Pascal. "How so?" William asked Fermat. Fermat then pulled out a pass. "You have to use this fancy security pass just to get in." Fermat said to William. "Hey, so do you think I could maybe kinda sorta borrow your pass? I've wanted to see the inside of that tower forever." Pascal asked Fermat. "Uh, well, I don't know." Fermat said, looking at everyone.

"Pleeeeeease! I promise I'll just look around and not break anything and come right back!" Pascal asked Fermat, clapping her hands in front of her face. Fermat thought about it for a few seconds. "Well, all right. I suppose I can trust you of all people." Fermat said to Pascal, making Pascal spin. "Aw, thanks, Fermat! I totally owe you!" Pascal said to Fermat, as she took the pass, and they all started to head to Fendel Tower.

After a bit of walking they found it. It looked like a tower, with an office building added onto it. "You all hide and wait here. They'll know something if they see all of you." William said to the Pokemon. (But what if you need us?) Magcargo asked William. "I still have my other five Pokemon with me, and someone needs to keep an I on the others." William said to Magcargo. (Fine, we'll stay.) Magcargo said to William, as everyone left their Pokemon behind, and got closer to Fendel Tower.

Once they got there, they all took in the sight of the tower. "Fendel Tower, huh? I sure hope Kurt is here." Asbel said to everyone, as Hubert turned to Malik. "You said you knew him, right, Mailk? In fact, you seemed shocked when you heard his name. What kind of person is he? If things go badly and we have to fight him, your information might help turn the tide." Hubert asked Mailk.

"We first met at the Military academy over 20 years ago. We were assigned to the same squad leader. Much as they do now, the people of Fendel were suffering. The climate was harsh, and our Valkines provided no help. Most of the people were on the verge of poverty… Or worse. The rich were content to let the poor struggle as long as their own gluttony remained satisfied. Eventually, my squad leader had enough, and started a reform movement. Kurt and I believed strongly in the cause, and had soon devoted ourselves to it completely." Malik said to Hubert.

"So what happened?" Asbel asked Malik. "It was youthful foolishness. Those in power brought pressure to bear and crush the revolution before it could take hold. My squad leader fought back with everything she had, but even she lost her will to fight. I knew my life was in danger, and so I decided to flee Fendel while I still could. And my squad leader left to live a life of exile. But Kurt… Kurt stayed. He refused to watch the light of revolution flicker and die. He was a man of fearsome intelligence and singular will. A man who would sooner die than surrender his ideals. Even if we do manage to track him down, I doubt he'll listen to an old coward like me." Malik said to everyone.

"But there's a chance, Captain. And that means we have to try." Asebl said to Malik. "I suppose you're right. Let's go find him." Malik said to Asbel, as they walked to the front door of the tower.

That's when a guard stopped them. "This area is off-limits." A guard said to everyone. "Fermat's not feeling well, so she sent us in her place." Malik said to the guard. "She sent eight of you?" The guard asked Malik. "Today's procedure is unusually labor- intensive." Malik said to the guard. "Well, all right. Go on through. But that pass of yours will only work on the first floor. All other areas are off-limits." The guard said to Malik. "Understood." Malik said, as the guard moved out of the way, and let everyone inside.

Inside the tower was a plain, red, white, and grey, and felt lifeless. "Sweet, Captain! You totally saved our bacon again!" Pascal said to Malik. "Yes, I suppose so…" Hubert said to Malik. "I won't hold it against you if you wish to view me as a professional liar." Malik said to Hubert, making Hubrt turn away from Malik.

"All right, we made it into the tower. Now the real work begins." Asbel said to everyone. "Right. We should find Kurt as soon as possible." Cheria said to everyone. "Easier said than done. After all, our pass will only get us this far." Alice said to everyone. "That's why you have me. I once infiltrated two enemy bases. So I know what to do. But do you guys want to be sneaky or loud?" William asked everyone. "Stealth would be better." Hubert said to William. "In that case follow me, and stay quiet." William said as he started to lead everyone to a side wall.

There they found a loose part of the wall, and sneaked into it. After moving through the inside of the building for a bite, they exited on a higher floor, where the security was lighter, and started to look for Kurt's office. After a bit they found an office with Kurt's name on it and went in.

"So this is Kurt's office. Looks like he's out." Huber said to everyone, as they looked at the office, it was large, with walls of books, a desk, with a board behind it. On that bord was a world map and a drawing of a red crystal that looked like it burst out of the earth, with something carrying it.

"Are you sad he's not here?" Sophie asked Malik, as Sophie moved to the desk. "A little. But I'm also relieved. I have no idea what I'll say to the man when I finally see him again… Anyway, we're here. We should learn what we can." Malik said to everyone. "Already on it." Pascal said, making everyone turn and walk to Pascal.

When they got to Pascal, they saw some papers on the desk, facing Pascal. "Is that?" Asbel asked Pascal. "Yep, that's it! It's the valkines cryas! It's hidden in a glacier right outside the capital." Pascal said to everyone. "What? That's just a stone's throw away…" Malik said to everyone. "If the valkines explodes, it will mean the end of Zavhert!" Cheria said to everyone. "Someone's coming." Sophie said to everyone, as she looked at the door.

This made them nervous and moved to the door. With Asbel, William, Sophie, and Cheria on one side of it. And Malik, Hubert, Alice, and Pascal on the other side. Everyone grabbed their weapons, and waited for the door to open. When it was open, they were met with two spears with gun berrials attached right under the blade part of the spears, with Malik blocking the one heading for his group, and William jamming his spear into the wall to block the other spear that almost hit Asbel in the throat. This freaked everyone, but William and Malik, out a little.

Then they noticed the spears were held by a man wearing a green-gray uniform coat with some red attachments on it, a blue ascot, and long black hand, with a patch of white hair that went over his right. "Malik? Is that you?" the man asked Malik. "Hello, Jurt. It's been a long time." Malik said to the man, as everyone put their weapons down. Kurt then walked more into his office.

"As much as I'd love to catch up, this is hardly the time nor the place." Kurt said to Malik, not facing anyone. Then everyone moved closer to Kurt. "We need to speak to you. It's important. Is it true that you're heading up the valkines experiment?" Malik asked Kurt. "it is. And it's also true that we're finally on the cusp of a vital breakthrough. If this experiment works, we'll be able to harvest eleth at a phenomenal rate. The people of Fendel, all of them, will want for nothing. The revolution of 20 years past never died, old friend. It just took a different form." Kurt said to Malik, turning his head slightly towards Malik.

"You have to stop the experiment, Kurt." Malik said to Kurt. "The research you're using is flawed. If you extract too much eleth, it'll initiate an unstoppable chain reaction and destroy the valkines!" Pascal said to Kurt. "This Pascal. She's an Amarcian, and an expert on the Valkines. She founded the original research upon which Fourier based her work." Malik said to Kurt. "Your concerns are amusing, but unnecessary. The experiment will go forward as planned." Kurt said to Malik.

"What?!" Malik asked Kurt. "Do you think me so foolish as to rely solely on the work of Miss Fourier? We've made extensive modifications to her research, and accounted for every possible outcome. You have no cause for concern. "But…" Asbel said to Kurt, but Alice interrupted him. "Yes, there is a need for concern. Your experiment puts everyone's life at risk. You have to stop now!" Alice said to Kurt.

This makes Kurt turn and face Alice, with a surprise look on his face. "You? Do I know you? You sound familiar?" Kurt asked Alice. "Her name is Alice. Charlotte's daughter." Malik said to Kurt. Kurt then looked at Alice for a second. "Ah, now I see it. Yes, the leader of the revolution's daughter. You sound just like her." Kurt said, surprising Alice.

"My Mom was what?!" Alice asked Malik and Curt. "She was the leader of the revolution. She inspired all of us to fight for a better tomorrow." Kurt said to Alice. "But after a hard loss, she fell apart." Malik said to Alice. "Why didn't she tell me?" Alice asked Malik. "She didn't want you to know about her sham." Malik said to Alice.

"Charlotte had no shame. She was the best of us all. But it doesn't matter why she didn't tell you. My country is dying. If we halt the experiment, the plight of our citizens will become exponentially greater. We would be forced to invade neighboring countries merely to survive. The Border Skirmishes of our recent past would quickly escalate into all-out war. Charlotte would not want that. So if she was here, she would support my decision." Kurt said to everyone, horrifying Asbel and Cheria.

"When you say neighboring countries, do you mean Windor?" Asbel asked Kurt. "Why can't you just ask for help?" William asked Kurt. "Besuace the rich refuse to do that. They lose too much and gain so little if they ask other countries for help. Now we have nothing more to discuss." Kurt said to William, turning away from everyone.

"So that's it? You refuse to stop the experiment?" Malik asked Kurt. "Malik. Out of respect for our past history together, and out of respect for Charlotte, if you all leave now, I will give you all time to escape. If not, I will summon the guards." Kurt said to Malik. Kurt then turned to Malik. "You turned tail and ran once, Malik. I suggest you do so again." Kurt said to Malik. "Kurt, damn you." Malik said to Kurt. "Enough! You and I chose very different paths, old friend. This is mine." Kurt said to Malik, turning away from Malik.

Everyone took the hit, that he didn't want to see them, when he turned around again, and left. They had very little trouble getting out. Apparently the tower's security is for people going up, not down. So they easily walked out of it. Outside the tower they were porcing what Kurt said. "Well, at least we know where the valkines is. That's something…" Pascal said to everyone.

"But Kurt refused to stop the experiment." Cheria said to Pascal. "He's fought a revolution all by himself for the last 20 years. Think of the strength that must have taken! I wish I could support him. You heard what he said, Pascal. Do you still think the experiment is dangerous?" Malik asked Pascal. Pascal nodded yes. "There's no safe way to extract eleth form that valkines. It's just way too unstable." Pascal said to Malik. "I see…" Malik said to Pascal.

"Captain Malik, we should go to the glacier and stop the experiment. We're the only ones who know the truth. It's our responsibility." Asbel said to Malik. "Responsibility…" Malik said. "When we next meet Kurt, we will almost certainly have to fight him. Are you prepared to do that?" Hubert asked Malik. "To fight my old friend…" Malik said, thinking, as Sophie touched her heart.

"If we do this, it will bring the wrath of the entire Fendel nation down upon us. And we are but eight people. If you don't pull your weight in battle, it'll put all of us in danger." Hubert said Malik. "Kurt is still my friend, no matter what happens here. But I will do whatever it takes to stop him. I owe him that much." Malik said to Hubert. "That's all I needed to hear. Shall we move onward?" Hubert said to everyone. "First let's find our Pokemon." William said to everyone, as they started to move. Well everyone but Malik, who was lost in thought, before following the others.

After finding their Pokemon and making their way to the glacier. "So if we have to fight Kurt, how worried should we be?" William asked Malik, as they all kept walking. "Very. I don't know what his skills are like now, but during the revolution, when he was strong. His buel spear fighting style was hard to dodge. And when he fought alongside Charlotte, who was pretty skilled with a shield, the two of them were unstoppable." Malik said to William.

"So Mom was a master of defence?" Alice asked Malik. "She was one of the few shield users in the Fendel army, and one of the best soldiers in the army." Malik said to Alice. "If she was, why didn't she teach me any of her moves or tell me any of this?" Alice asked Malik. "From what I gathered, after she left Fendel, and had you, she didn't want to lose you. Like we lost her." Malik said to Alice.

"Her?" Asbel asked Malik. "Asbel, remember on the boat to Lhant, I told you about a woman like William, well that was Charlotte. And when the Revolution was falling apart, she was losing it. To help her, one of our friends tried something to help the Revolution, but it got her killed. With her death, Charlotte realised what she had done, and removed her shield, and left. And that's how the Revolution ended." Malik said to Asbel.

"And Mom was worried about me dying like her?" Alice asked Malik. "Yes." Malik said to Alice. "Well that explains why mom was so pushy on me becoming a medic and not a soldier." Alice said. "Can we talk about the past, after we stop the experiment?" Hubert asked everyone. "Oh right." Alice said to Hubert.

After a bit they found the glacier, and walked through it. But it was practically empty. "Things have been pretty quiet so far." Asbel said to everyone, as they stopped. "Let's hope reaching the valkines is equally simple." Hubert said to everyone. "Why did you have to say that? You know things are only going to get worse for us now." William said to Asbel and Hubert.

"It is weird, if this glacier is where they keep the Valkiness. wouldn't they have more security or religious guards stationed here?" Alice asked everyone. "Not really, even before I was born, very few worship the Red Lizard. Because the Red Lizard is the master of fire. Yet he lets us freeze. Because of this not many people worship the Red Lizard." Malik said to Alice. "Legends even say that, because people stopped worthshiping the Red Lizard, he got mad at us, and made our cryas unstable." Pascal said to Alice.

"How do you know that?" Asbel asked Pascal. "I read about it in an old book. And it's what inspired me to make this experiment. To see if something was making the cryas unstable. Count finds a single proof of that. And along the way I wanted to see if I could harness the energy from the cyras. And well here we are." Pascal said to everyone. "Fascinating, but we should get moving." Hubert to everyone, before they all started to walk again.

After walking for a bit, they found a giant red glowing crystal, with a fire-like back, and a lizard standing on two feet, with a few spikes in its sides, broken circle in the middle of the spikes, and a worn out head. And all around it were machines, pocked into the back of the crystal. "Look! Over there!" Pascal said to everyone.

They then noticed at some controls, Kurt, a couple soldiers, a scientist, old man in a derivative and fancy grey coat, a hat with a symbol on it, a large beard and mustache, and a cape, and near Kurt was creature that was almost as big as Kurt, standing on two legs with three white claws on its feet, armor-like scales over its knees, a small tail with a orange bump on the end of its tail, tiny hands with two white claws on the end of each of them, white fur around its small neck, and a head as big as its body, with white eyes, two orange bumps on its head, a bump over ovr it's noes, and a very large mouth with two fangs on both top and bottom of the mouth.

"Is that?" Alcie asked Malik, looking at the man in the fancy coat. "Chancellor Eigen, yes." Malik said to Alice. "And they have a Tyrunt with them as well. This is bad." William said. "A Tyrunt?" Asbel asked William. William then pulled out his Pokedex.

The Royal Heir Pokemon

A Dragon / Rock Type Pokemon

This is an ancient Pokemon, revived in modern times. It has a violent disposition, and it'll tear apart anything it gets between its hefty jaws.

As William put his Pokedex away, they heard Kurt talking to Chancellor Eigen. "We will not begin the process of extracting eleth from the valkines cyrus." Kurt said to Chancellor Eigen, before nodding his head to the scientist. Then the scientist started to press buttons and pull levers, activating the machine.

"What is this nonsense? Nothing's happening! Increase the power!" Chancellor Eigen order. And Kurt accepted that order, and made the scientist crank up the power. "Come on. We have to stop them!" Asbel said to everyone, as they moved in. This is when Kurt and everyone noticed them. "Malik! How did you find this place?" Kurt asked Malik, as the two guards pointed their weapons at everyone.

"Kurt! You have to stop the experiment!" Malik said to Kurt, as Kurt and the Tyrunt walked to them, with Kurt having his eyes closed. Kurt then pulled out his spears. "Seize the intruders!" Kurt said to the soldiers and Tyrunt. (So long as you don't mind a few broken bones. Crunch.) Tyrunt said to Kurt, with a male voice, as his fangs became longer and glowed white, and as they all charged at the group, causing them all to scatter.

"Magcargo return. Donphan a little help with Rollout." William said, as she returned Magcargo to her Pokeball, and let out Donphan out of his Pokeball. (On it.) Donphan said, as he started to roll towards Tyrunt. This made Tyrunt stop his attack, and dig in his claw into the ground, and lowered his head. This blocked Donphan's attack, stopping him in his tracks. But Donphan was still spinning, trying to force Tyrunt back. Not that Tyrunt would let him. And all of this made sparks fly from the friction created by them.

"Inteleon use Snipe Shot." Hubert said as he used his swords to block fire from one of the soldiers. (You got it.) Inteleon said to Hubert, as he pointed a right index finger at the soldier. "Elgyem use Psybeam." Pascal said to Elgyem, as she fired a few fire shots. (Right.) Elgyem said to Pascal. Then Inteleon fired a small burst of water from his finger, knocking the soldier's weapon out of his hands. Pascal's fire shots hit the soldier on his shoulder and chest. And Elgyem fired a mutley color beam that moved in the shape of a sharp wavelength, hitting the shoulder in the head, knocking the soldier out.

"Golett use Shadow Punch." Sophie said, as she charged at the other soldier. Golett said nothing and fired a shadow in the shape of his fist at the soldier. The soldier used his weapon to block the attack. But when he lowered his weapon, he was met face to face, with Sophie's weapon. Which slammed right into the soldier's face and sent the soldier flying, knocking him out.

Back with the others they were, they were blocking Kurts wild attacks, from him spinning around, or wildy firing shots from the barriers of his spears. "Ducklett use Water Gun." Alice said to Ducklett, as she used her shield to block a few of Kurt's shots. (Right.) Ducklett said, as she moved behind Alice's shield and out poked her head from behind it. Ducklett then fired a stream of water from her mouth. But Kurt dodged it.

"Kirlia use Magical Leaf." Cheria said to Kirila, as she threw knives at Kurt. (As you wish.) Kirlia said to Cheria, as she hit her tutu, knocking out some leaves, Kirlia then twirled and kicked the leaves at Kurt. But Kurt was able to dodge and block most of the knives and leaves, only getting a few scratches from a few of the knives and leaves.

"This guy is good." William said to everyone. "Maybe but let's see how he handles this. Arcanine use Extreme Speed." Malik said to William and Arcanine. (On it.) Arcanine said, before disappearing and reappearing behind Kurt. Then a gust of wind hit Kurt and sent him flying. But Kurt recovered in the air and landed on his feet, but he still took a big hit from that attack. Then Kurt got back to wildly firing shots from his spears again

"I could really use Donphan right now." William said, as they dodged Kurst shots, and looked to see Donphan still rolling into Tyrunt's head, still making sparks. "Boltund use Bite on Tyrunt, and give Donphan some breathing room." Asbel said to Boltund. (On it.) Boltund said, as he charged at Tyrunt, with his mouth having small white glowing fangs.

When Boltund reached Tyrunt, he bit into one of his legs and pulled back a bit. Making Tyrunt lose his footing and trip. This allowed Donphan to roll over Tyrunt and roll to William. With Donphan free, Boltund let go of Tyrunt. Then Tyrunt started to get up, chucking a little. (What's funny?) Boltund asked Tyrunt (it's funny. You think, those tiny teeth will do agents something like me. Let me show you how to really bite. Crunch.) Tyrunt said to Boltund, as his fangs became longer and glowed white.

(Ah, later.) Boltund said, before running away, with Tyrunt on his tail, while trying to stay on his tail anyway, after all Tyrunt wasn't as fast as Boltund.

Back with Donphan, he moved back to William. Meanwhile Malik charged at Kurt, making Kurt stop firing his shots, and the two started to clash weapons, each leaving scratches on each other. "Donphan I need a Giga Impact on Kurt." William said to Donphan. (A bit over-killed for a human, but okay.) Donphan said to William, as he rolled up again, but this time Donphan was wrapped in purple energy with streams of orange energy coming out the front.

Donphan rolled into Kurt. Malik noticed this and jumped out of the way of Donphan. No that Kurt had the time to dodge it, but he did try to use his spears to block the attack. But the force and power of the attack, forced Kurt back and into the wall, dealing a lot of damage to Kurt. But before he could recover, Malik and Arcanine started to attack Kurt, with Arcanine biting and holding onto one of the spears, and Kurt using the other one to block Malik's attacks.

Tyrunt noticed this and stopped chasing Boltund. (Kurt.) Tyrunt said to Kurt. (Get him.) Boltund said to the Pokemon, before he, Kirila, Golett, Inteleon, and Ducklett, all jumped onto Tyrunt's back, forcing Tyrunt to the ground. (Stay down.) Inteleon said to Tyrunt. (Get off me.) Tyrunt said, trying to get up. (I said, stay down.) Inteleon said to Tyrunt, as he and the Pokemon with him, started to put more force in holding Tyrunt down. (And I said, GET OFF ME!) Tyrunt said, before glowing light blue.

Tyrunt then started to grow, becoming tailor then the humans, and wide enough that all the Pokemon on his back was riding it, instead of covering it, his scales got rougher, tail got longer, with two bumps on the end, arms was still short with two claws, three claws on his feet, the fur on his neck became longer more fancy, gaining a beard, gaining more fangs, and the two bumps on his head turn to a five edge that went over his eyes.

When the light faded, everyone noticed that his scales were red, with a few orange patches, the bumps and edge were orange, the fur and beard was white, his belly was grey with a white line on both sides of the belly, and his claws were black. "Of course it evolved into Tyrantrum now. Just our luck." William said to everyone. "Tyrantrum?" Hubert asked William. William then pulled out his Pokedex again.

The Despot Pokemon

A Dragon / Rock Type Pokemon

This Pokemon is from about 100,000,000 years ago. It has the presence of a king, vicious but magnificent.

(I said, GET OFF!) Tyrantrum said, doing a violent 180 turn, having his back against everyone, and sent Boltund, Kirila, Golett, Inteleon, and Ducklett flying, and made their partners run to them. (Scale Shot.) Tyrantrum said, as he whipped his tail, sending multiple shards of purple energy flying at everyone, with each tail whip he did.

Everyone tried their best to dodge the shards, and made Malik and Arcanine back away from Kurt, giving Kurt a chance to breathe a little. But the gang got a few scratches from dodging the shards. Then when Tyrantrum finished whipping his tail, his body glowed blue energy that went down his body, and glowed red that went up his body after the blue energy was gone. (Crunch.) Tyrantrum said, as he started to charge, with all his fangs becoming long and glowing white.

Tyrantrum's target was Asbel and Boltund, who ran as fast as they could, and Tyrantrum was right on their tail. "That was definitely Scale Shot." William said to everyone. "Scale Shot?" Hubert asked William. "A move that ifres scales off the user, it lowers defence, but raises speed. Which was that blue and red glow a minute around. "Guys help?!" Asbel asked everyone. "Inteleon use Sniper Shot." Hubert said to Inteleon. (This is a bad idea, but fine.) Inteleon said, pointing his fight index finger at Tyrantrum and fired a small burst of water at him, hitting Tyrantrum in his nose.

This got Tyrantrum's attention, and stopped his attack. "Boltund use Thunder Fang." Asbel said as he started to slam his sword into Tyrantrum's right leg. (I won't do much, but okay.) Boltund said to Asbel, before his fangs started to be covered in electricity, and bite into a toe on Tyrantrum's right leg. Tyrantrum looked at them, with a "really" look on his face. Tyrantrum then knocked Asbel back a bit with his right foot, before shaking off Boltund and sending him flying as well.

(Stomp.) Tyrantrum said, as he turned to Asbel and lifted up his right leg. "Asbel, look out!" William said, as he slammed into Asbel, forcing him out of the way. But William got stomped on instead, making a dent in the ice "WILLIAM!" Asbel yelled to William. Then a red light started to glow right under Tyrantrum's right foot. Soon Tyrantrum was forced back by a pillar of red energy. Then the ground started to shake, breaking the ice behind the pillar of energy. And from that broken ice, the red image of Groudon rose from the earth and entered the pillar of red energy.

That's when the pillar of energy faded, and a red thick hand with five white claws came out of the dent and started to pull something out of it. It was a red armor human, with four bumps on its head, red glowing eyes, four white spikes on its back, a long tail with a big curve on the end, thick legs with five white claws for toes, and in the other hand was a red spear with a U shape blade with points on the end of it, and a nozzle in middle of the U. William then roared, making the glacier shine from light from the outside.

"Oh no. not again. And a new one as well." Asbel said to everyone. "Everyone get back. William said this form is going to be dangerous." Alice said to everyone. (like that will stop me. Rock Tomb.) Tyrantrum said, stomping his right foot into the ground, this made rocks shoot out of the ground around William, and in cased him in a cone shape.

But then one of the rocks of the Rock Tomb was sent flying, hitting Tyrantrum. William then slowly walked out of the Rock Tomb. (If I can't trap you. I'll smash you. Stomp.) Tyrantrum said as he charged at William. William didn't move, he just planted his spear into the ground next to him. Then as Tyrantrum was about to stomp on him with his right foot, William held up his arm and caught Tyrantrum by the claws on his feet, and stopped Tyrantrum.

Then William tightened his grip on Tyrantrum, making smoke come out of his grip. Then William started to spin around, making Tyrantrum spin along with him. (This… can't… be… happening…) Tyrantrum said, before William let go of him, making him crash into an ice wall, making ice canucks fall on him. That's when they noticed the burn marks on two of Tyrantrum's claws.

While everyone's attention was either on William or Tyrantrum, Kurt finished recovering, and pointed his weapons at William and fired a few shots. William heard the shorts, and turned to Kurt. But he just stood there and took them, not even trying to dodge. This made Kurt nervous. William then picked up his spear and pointed it at Kurt. Then from the nozzle in his spear, a small very concentrated steam of fire at Kurt. Kurt was able to dodge the steam, but the heat coming off it burned the right hip of his clothes, and a clean hole in the ice behind him.

Kurt then charged at William, with the intent to slash off William's head. But when he got close to William, William grabbed one of his spears with his left hand, and kneed Kurt in the gut with his right knee, forcing him back and to the ground on one knee. Kurt then watched as William's left hand glowed red, and his spear started to glow red before melting.

Once the spear was completely melted, William raised his spear into the air, about to finish Kurt. "William, that's enough! It's over. There's no need to keep fighting." Asbel said to William. William froze for a few seconds. Then William lowered his spear and glowed red again.

When William stopped glowing, he was back to his normal look, and started to wobble from extension. That's when everyone rushed to William. Kurt watched as Malik and Asbel helped stabe William. "Malik, you have grown strong. It appears we are no longer equals." Kurt said to Malik. "I could not have defeated you without my companions." Malik said to Kurt. "Yes, your creature and that boy are something else. And I thought my creature was something." Kurt said to Malik. "His… name is… Tyrantrum." William said to Kurt, as he regained some strength and stood on his own.

That's when Tyrantrum and the soldier started to get up and charge at everyone. "That's enough." Kurt said to Tyrantrum and his men. (But sir?) Tyrantrum asked Kurt. "I said that's enough, we've lost." Kurt said to Tyrantrum. (Yes sir.) Tyrantrum said to Kurt.

Then they heard something break. "Ah! The valkines!" A soldier said, as everyone noticed the valkines overloading. "Impossible!" Kurt said. "I-I'm sorry sir. Chancellor Eigen ordered me to increase the output to the maximum!" the scientist said to Kurt. "Oh no! It's starting a chain reaction!" Pascal said to everyone. "You old fool. You doomed all of Fendel." Alice said to Chancellor Eigen. "Shut it down! Now!" Kurt said to the scientist.

Malik then noticed a surge of electricity in one of the pipes. "Come on! I tried but I can't! The emergency shutdown isn't responding!" the scientist said to Kurt, as he tried to pull the lever. "Pascal, any ideas?" Alice asked Pascal. "I'm afraid there's no choice! I'm gonna have to destroy the main outflow pipe!" Pascal said to Alice. "No way! You can't do that! It's too dangerous!" Cheria said to Pascal. "This whole situation is my fault! I have to do something!" Pascal said to Cheria, before running to the pipe.

But Kurt stood up and used his last spear to stop her from reaching the pipe. "No. This is my responsibility. I'll take care of it." Kurt said to Pascal, before he ran to the pipe. "Kurt!" Malik said to Kurt, trying to get his attention.

But Kurt didn't listen and priced his spear into the pipe, causing the electricity in it to surge into the spear and into Kurt. The sound of crackling electricity muted the sound of Kurt screaming. Not that it made it any less horrifying for everyone else.

But thanks to Kurt's action, the valkiness started to calm down and turn back to normal. But it also fired Kurt in the process. Kurt dropped to his knees, with his left arm still hanging onto his spear. At the sight of this everyone rant to Kurt. "Kurt! Try to hold on, old friend! Kurt!" Malik said to Kurt, as Cheria started to heal Kurt. "M-Miss Pascal, Was it? P-pease. I must ask you to… to complete your research. Without a working valkines… Fendel is... doomed. We must… find a way to… control its potential. You have got to complete your research. Save my country. You must… save my people…" Kurt said to Pascal.

"Alice… tell your mother… I'm grateful... to have... met her..." Kurt said to Alice. "I'll tell her that." Alice said to Kurt. "Tyrantrum… please protect.. the valkines." Kurt asked Tyrantrum. (I promise I will.) Tyrantrum said to Kurt.

"Kurt!" Malik said to Kurt. "Malik… it's all up to you know… I'm going to have to leave… the revolution in your hands… Fight… You must… You must do whatever it takes… to save our people…" Kurt said to Malik, reaching out his left hand to Malik. Malik reached out his hand to take Kurts. But before Malik could take it. Kurt dropped to the floor. "Kurt, no! You're strong! You have to fight Kurt!" Malik said to Kurt, as Kurt closed his eyes for the last time, looking at the valkines.

This made everyone sad, and quiet "Is Kurt dead? We won't see him again?" Sophie asked everyone, breaking the silence. "No." Malik said to Sophie. Sophie then kneeled by Kurt's body. "That's not fair. You only just found him." Sophie said to Malik. "Please, come back. You have to come back, Kurt!" Sophie said to Kurt. "Sophie. It's all right. We have to let him rest now." Malik said to Sophie. "Captain…" Sophie said to Malik, looking at Malik. "Sophie, he died saving his country and his people. He's earned his rest." William said to Sophie kneeling down to her.

Huh? What is that?!" Chancellor Eigen said, getting everyone's attention. They turned to him and followed his eyes to see Richard and Skarmory flying in from the top of the glacier. "No…" Asbel said, as they noticed Richard and Skarmory were in some kind of pain. The two of them landed on the machine. "Ah, you beautiful thing. Come to me, now." Richard said to the valkines, as he got off Skarmory.

(Keep your hands off it! Scale Shot!) Tyrantrum said as he charged at Richard, whipping his tail multiple times, sending multiple shards of purple energy flying at Richard and Skarmory with each whip. But before they hit, Skarmory let out some blue energy and made a few blue copies. These copies looked like Skarmory, but it looked like their metal feathers were made out of heavy armor, making them look bigger.

The copies took the hits, and survived the hits. The copis moved allowing Skarmroy to get a clear shot at Tyrantrum, and slammed his legs into Tyrantrum's head, forcing his head into the ice. After that Skcarmory flew back to Richard. "Now that is settled." Richard said, before he started to drain the valkines, letting red energy flow into him and Skarmory.

"Richard, Skarmory, stop!" Asbel said, as he jumped up, getting closer to Ricahrd and Skarmory, but the copies got in his way. "Do not interfere!" Richard said to Asbel, as he pulled out his sword and the copies moved. Richard then got a clear line of sight of Asbel and fired an energy blast from his sword, sending Asbel flying. "Asbel!" Sophie and William said at the same time.

Then Richard tried to fire another blast at Asbel, but Sophie and William got in his way, and blocked the blast. "No you two again." Richard said to them, before the three of them started to get mad, Sophie started to glow white, and William glowing red, blue, and green. "Look at that! Is it just me or is Sophie glowing, and William's glowing all three of his colors at once?!" Pascal asked everyone.

"It seems that you two and the two of us are fated to battle." Richard said, before the two of them charged at Richard and Skarmory. With William turning back into his Groudon form, and started to fight the copies and Skarmory, with his spear's nozzle letting out a small concentrating flame that was like a spear point. All the while Sophie and Ricahrd were trading attacks.

William had no trouble cutting through the defence of the copies. But Skarmory then made a few more blue copies and had them dog pile on William, holding him down. But William was slowly burning the copies off him. Meanwhile Ricahrd and Sophie locked weapons. "We will not be destroyed! You two cannot stop us!" Richard said to William and Sophie, before William finished burning the copies off him. Richard then let out a pulse of black energy sending William and Sophie flying back to Asbel.

Once they landed by Asbel, William truend back to normal, and Sophie stopped glowing. "Sophie! William!" Asbel said, as Ricahrd and Skarmory finished draining the energy from the valkines. With it drained, Richard got back onto Skarmory. "Perfect. Now to finish things." Richard said to Skarmory. (To World's Eye.) Skarmory said, before he took off into the sky.

"Just when we manage to stop the experiment…" Malik said, as everyone looked at the dead valkines. Cheria then ran to Asbel, Sophie, and William, with Boltund, Donphan, Golett, and Kirlia following her. "Richard, that just can't be him. It just can't. No human could've possibly done that." Hubert said to everyone (Nor could a Pokemon do that. Just what are those two now?) Inteleon asked Hubert.
