In the Pokemon world lived a lonely boy named William. He had no friends or family, and only his first Pokemon Mudkip was with him. Then one day he found his way to Ephinea and he met Asbel Lhant. Soon the two of them became best friends, but when dark forces from the past and ancient secrets return to Ephinea can William and Asbel be able to save it or will it be lost.

15. Chapter 15

Sorry for the wait on this one. I had things to do, other stuff on my mind and my computer has been giving me some trouble. Now here's chapter 15.

Chapter 15

The Downward Path

After everything that happened with the valkines Chancellor Eigen was upset. "This is a complete disaster! All of our eleth is now gone! And, in addition to that it was stolen away by the king of Windor himself! That scum… this is nothing less than an act of war!" Chancellor Eigen said, as Asbel helped a very exhausted William to the rest of the group, with Cheria, Sophie, Boltund, Donphan, Golett, and Kirlia, behind them.

"Chancellor Eigen, King Richard's actions are his and his Pokemon alone, Windor isn't involved in this." Alice said to Chancellor Eigen. "Quiet you. You and your accomplices won't be slinking away either! Guards!" Chancellor Eigen said to Alice and the guards. "One moment there, Chancellor Eigen." A voice said to Chancellor Eigen.

This made everyone turn to see Poisson and Amaura standing near the entrance. "Poisson! What are you and Amaura doing here?" Pascal asked Poisson. "I have come here before you today as the Overseer's representative." Poisson said to Pascal. "You mean to say you speak for the Amarcian Overseer?" Chancellor Eigen asked Poisson.

"Yes. Greetings, Chancellor. I come here bearing a personal message for you. We humbly request that you spare all of these people and leave them to our care. The actions of King Ricjard and his Pokemon endanger not only your country, but all of the kingdoms in the world as well. The Overseer has chosen to devote all of Amarcia's resources to resolving this terrible threat. And to that end, we require the information these people possess." Poisson said to Chancellor Eigen.

"Uh… B-But, my country has suffered a great outrage, and I cannot-" Chancellor Eigen said to Poisson, walking closer to her, but Poisson interrupted him. "The Overseer also said one more thing. Depending upon your answer, we may be forced to recall all engineers who currently provide aid to the government of Fendel. She hopes this won't be necessary, and that we can continue to enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship for years to come." Poisson said to Chancellor Eigen.

"Uh, so be in then. I leave this matter in the hands of the Overseer. Everyone move out!" Chancellor Eigen said to everyone, before he started to leave. While leaving, the guards took Kurt's body with them.

"Poisson… That was a serious threat you just made. Did the Overseer really say that?" Pascal asked Poisson. "Of course she did." Poisson said to Pascal. "Heh! You're gonna make a great Overseer someday. Your timing was totally perfect, too! The question is how in the heck did you know we were here?" Pascal asked Poisson. "Your sister Fourier returned and informed us that the valkines was in very grave danger." Poisson said to Pascal.

"Fourier!" Pascal said. "I'm sorry about the valkines. But we couldn't save it." Pascal said to Poisson. "So what do you think we could do now? We have no idea where King Richard will strike next." Cheria asked everyone. "Actually, the Overseer did mention something about that as well." Poisson said to Cheria. "Oh! She did?" Pascal asked Poisson. "She believed that King Richard and his Pokemon would most likely make for Lastalia." Poisson said to everyone.

"Lastalia?" Hubert asked Poisson. "Yeah, care... to explain..., what... a... Lastali is?" William asked Poisson, trying to stay awake. "The Lastalia is the core of our planet, and the only true source of all the cyrus in the world." Poisson said to everyone. "Here, Pascal. I have something for you. This is a key to the Archive of Wisdom." Poisson said to Pascal, walking to them, pulling out a small, strange key, and handing it to Pascal. "There is much about the Lastalia that still remains hidden even from the Overseer. But she believes you can find more information about it within the Archive of Wisdom." Poisson said to Pascal.

"You sure it's okay for me to go inside it?" Pascal asked Poisson. "The Overseer believes you have learned a great deal from recent events. So she has decided to bend the rules for you. But just this once." Poisson said to Pascal. "Wow, she really said that?" Pascal asked Poisson. "Well, let's check it out, Pascal." Asbel said to Pascal. "Agreed. The time for caution is over. We must seize any hope, no matter how faint." Hubert said to everyone, with everyone nodding in agreement, everyone but Malik.

"I'm staying here." Malik said to everyone. "Captain?!" Asbel asked Malik, as everyone turned to Malik. "I have to. I am responsible for Kurt's work and continuing the revolution. I am, In my heart, a man of Fendel. I will not abandon my people again." Malik said to everyone. "I fear there's little point in you taking up the torch of revolution now." Hubert said to Malik. "Why not?" Malik asked Hubert.

"Kurt's final wish was for the valkines research to be completed, and his people rescued from misery. If there is any hope for completing this mad task, then we must find and defeat King Richard and Skarmory. I think you should come with us. Come with us, Show the world what it really means to be a true man of Fendel." Hubert said to Malik. "Hubert…" Malik said to Hubert. "I'm coming too! Kurt totally trusted me, after all!" Pascal said to Malik. "And I'm going too. After all, I promise to tell my mom about this." Alice said to Malik.

"Captain Malik! Please. We still need your guidance and your instruction." Asbel said to Malik. "And If… Kurt was here… I'm sure… he would… help us." William said to Malik. "Asbel... William…" You two are… You two are too good to me, my friends." Malik said to everyone. "It will be an honor to have you with us, Captain Malik." Hubert said to Malik.

"I'll remain here. There are still many delicate matters to discuss with Chancellor Eigen. Also, the Overseer will be here soon. I'm sorry I and Amaura can't go with you." Poisson said to everyone. "Don't worry about it! We appreciate all the help, Poisson." Pascal said to Poisson. "All right! Let's head back to the Amarcian Enclave." Pascal said to everyone, as they all shook their heads. "But first... Donphan return... and Swampert come out." William said as he returned Donphan to his Pokeball and let Swampert out of his.

(What do you need?) Swampert asked William. William said nothing and hopped onto Swamperts back, and went to sleep. (Really? You called me out to ride me and sleep on me?) Swampert asked William. "I guess he's really tired." Asbel said to everyone. "My guess transforming into those forms takes a lot out of him when he changes back." Hubert said to everyone. "Well at least he's getting some rest while we're moving. So let's go." Pascal said to everyone. (Easy for you to say. You don't have a person on your back.) Swampert said to Pascal, as they started to walk.

But as they walked, Boltund noticed Tyrantrum staying, and stopped letting everyone go on ahead of him. (Tyrantrum aren't you coming?) Boltund asked Tyrantrum. (No. this is where I belong. I promised Kurt I would protect it. And even if it's not working. I owe it to Kurt to stand guard here.) Tyrantrum said to Boltund. (I understand. Good luck Tyrantrum.) Boltund said to Tyrantrum. (Good luck to you as well. And a little trip from one Strong Jaws to another. Your bite is only as strong as where you bite, so bite your opponents weak spots.) Tyrantrum said to Boltund. (Thanks for the advice. Goodbye.) Boltund said to Tyrantrum, as he ran to catch up with the others.

After a bit of walking back to the Amarcian Enclave as the sun started to set. And William woke up from his nap to throw up. There they made it to the room where they met Poisson and Amaura and opened the door they were guarding. There is a small tunnel open up. So they all went in, but it was a tight fit for all of them to get through.

When they got to the end of the tunnel, they found themselves in a medium size room with an old and advanced machine in the middle of it. "I imagined that a place called the Archive of Wisdom would be more like a library…" Cheria said to everyone. "I'm not. Amarcian seem to like their gadgets." William said to Cheria. "William, right, we're chock full of wisdom around here! We just don't store it on paper." Pascal said to Cheria. "Ohmighosh, I never actually thought I'd come here! I'm so excited!" Pascal said to everyone.

"Pascal force. Lastalia what is it?" Alice asked Pascal. "Okay, okay. Let's see what we can learn about this Lastalia." Pascal said to Alice, before trying to activate the machine. "Hey, that looks like the machine where we saw Sophie's illusion." Asbel said to Pascal. "Probably because they're the same kind of machine." William said to Asbel. "William's right again, it's pretty much the same. Which means if I just twang this thingie here…" Pascal said to Asbel, as she finally turned the machine on.

That's when a hard light screen appeared right next to Pascal, and a sphere appeared in the mashing, with a symbol in the middle of it. "Wh-What is that?! Is it… real?" Hubert asked Pascal. "I can see right through it!" Cheria said to everyone. "It's a hologram, a light 3d Image. It may look real, but it's just some accurate lights." William said to Hubert and Cheria.

"Okay, lemme see… Lastalia… Lastalia…" Pascal said as images appeared on the mahine. Then Pascal stopped when the images were of a ball of energy round by an orange sphere, and large green, blue, and red crystals sticking from the energy out. "Got it! Hoo Hoo! Okay, now lemne just... Oh, that's crazy. So the Lastalia really does exist, but it's different from valkines cryas." Pascal said to everyone. "How so?" Asbel asked Pascal.

"Well, it's kinda like the basis for Valkines. Eleth is created in the Lastalia, and then stored in cyrus and valkines cyrus! It also says that valkines exist, cause when the Great Beasts, Serpent, Whale, and Lizard stabilize the eleth in the Lastalia, they shot straight out, and the valkins is the like a crystal scab of them leaving, that also says that it keeps the eleth in the Lasatlia stable! Oh man, this is heavy…" Pascal said to everyone.

"So Rayquaza, Kyogre, and Groundon made the Lasatila?" William asked Pascal. "No according to this. It was already there, but it was unstable and unusable. They just made it stable and made it work." Pascal said to William. "Okay, So that's what the Lastalia is. And Richard and Skarmory will go there next?" Asbel asked Pascal. "Oh yeah. In fact, I'm more sure of it now than ever. Richard and Skarmory didn't care about the valkines: they just wanted the eleth." Pascal said to Asbel.

"What happens if he absorbs the eleth from the Lastalia?" Hubert asked Pascal. "Hmm… Well since there would be no more eleth, I think the world would just kinda… die." Pascal said to Hubert. "That's crazy! I mean, that can't be what he's after!... Could it?" Asbel asked everyone. "If the Lastalia is at the core, we'll need a way underground. How do we get down there?" Malik asked Pascal. (Please don't say we have to dig.) Kirlia asked Pascal.

"Lemme check… Ah, bananas! Not again! The records are so darn old… Come on, you! Okay, there we go." Pascal said to the machine, as an image of the world, missing a fourth appeared in the machine. "Looks like there's an entrance at a place called World's Eye. It's not far from Warrior's Roost, actually. Anything else useful…? Hmm…" Pascal said before reading the screen. "Lambda and Agate…" Pascal said, surprising Sophie. "Lambda and Agate." Sophie said, holding a hand over her chest.

"There's that word again. What does it mean?" Asbel asked Pascal. "Looks like it's the names of someone and his guardian, who went after the valkines a long time ago, just like Ricahrd and Skarmory are doing now." Pascal said to Asbel. "Anything else?" William asked Pascal. "Oh, wait. Hold on. There's a poem or something here." Pascal said to William. "A poem?" Cheria asked Pascal.

"The seeds of destruction from Fodra. Falls to the land of the three Great Beasts lights. Sprouting their limbs to shroud the radiance. The savior of Fodra rises. To wither the leaves of destruction. Guarding the Great Beast lights forever more. Okay, so are we supposed to know what any of that means? Because I totally don't." Pascal said to everyone.

"Sounds like our current predicament happened before." Alice said to Pascal, as Pascal started to look for more information. "Oh crud. There's another black spot here…" Pascal said to everyone. "Seeds of destruction… Fodra…. Where have I heard that?" Sophie quietly asked herself, before leaning forward. And that's when Asbel, Cheria, and William, noticed this, but didn't hear her. "Sophie, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Cheria asked Sophie.

"I can almost remember… But my head hurts…" Sophie said to Cheria. "You need some fresh air. Come on, Let's go outside." Cheria said to Sophie. "I'll take care of Sophie. You guys stay here and learn what you can." Cheria said to everyone. "Thanks, Cheria." Asbel said to Cheria, before Cheria, Sophie, Golett, and Kirlia started to leave.

"Pascal, anything else from the Archive of Wisdom?" William asked Pascal. "Meh, this information is just too fragmented. I can only read little bits and pieces. I might be able to repair it or whatever, but it'll probably take some time." Pascal said to William. "Which we don't have." Alice said to Pascal. "Do you know what happened to that Lambda guy and Agate guardian after they attacked the valkines?" Asbel asked Pascal.

"It looks like someone jumped in and saved the day. I found a little bit about how they were stopped by something called Protos Heis. I'm guessing the seeds of destruction in the poem is that Lambda dube and this Agate guardian." Pascal said to Asbel. "Which means Protos Heis would be…" Malik said to Pascal, but stopped talking. "The savior of Fodra." Pascal said to everyone, making everyone nod their heads.

"It makes sense. For some reason, Richard and Skarmory are trying to recreate the events from that poem." Malik said to everyone. "But that doesn't answer why they're doing this." Alice said to everyone. "I think we've learned enough. We should hurry to World's Eye." Hubert said to everyone. "Agree. I'll be damned if I'm going to let this world die." Malik said to everyone. "We'll stop Richard this time. We have to." Asbel said to everyone. "Then let's get going." William said to everyone, before they started to move.

Back outside Sophie was on her knees, with Cheria, Kirlia, and Golett standing around her. "You okay, Sophie? Does it still hurt?" Cheria asked Sophie. "Lambda… Agate… Seeds of destruction… Savior from Fodra… I can almost remember…" Sophie said. "It's okay. Don't force it." Cheria said to Sophie. "It feels like I have to remember… Or something terrible will happen…" Sophie said to everyone. "Something terrible?" Cheria asked Sophie. (You're not making any sense Sophie.) Kirlia said to Sophie. "But it's hard… I'm... scared…" Sophie said, before everyone else walked up to them.

"How are you, Sophie?" Asbel asked Sophie. Sophie and Cheria then stood up. "I'm fine now. I'm sorry." Sophie said to Asbel. "We've decided to head for World's Eye." Asbel said to Sophie. "Okay." Sophie said to Asbel. "Don't push yourself if you're not feeling well." Asbel said to Sophie. Sophie said, shaking her head no. "No. You must take me with you. Please." Sophie said to Asbel. "Okay. But let us know if anything's wrong?" Asbel asked Sophie. Sophie nodded yes. "We'll have to head back to Zavhert first. We can catch a ship from there." Asbel said to everyone, before they started to leave.

Meanwhile in a blizzard, Richard and Skarmory were having another mental breakdown. "Lastalia… We must get to… The Lastalia. Once we're there… our dream will come true… R-Right? We're the only ones… who can save this world… This world is ravaged by war. We can restore it. We must." Richard said as he started to pull himself together. (Yes. This is why we exist. To restore the world.) Skarmory said to Richard, as Richard got onto his back, and they took off into the sky.

Back with the group. They reached the port, as the moon started to shine in the sky. They then walked to a ship captain. "We need passage to an area east of Warrior's Roost. Can you take us there?" Asbel asked the Captain. "If you got the coin, I've got the boat. But I don't see the point. There ain't nothing up there!" The Captain said to Asbel. "We have urgent business on an island in that area." Asbel said to the Captain.

"Say, you must be the ones that government fella was talkin' about! Yeah, I'm s'posed to give ya whatever ya want." The Captain said to Asbel. This made everyone look at each other. "Sounds like the Overseer's pulled some strings for us." Pascal said to everyone. "We can make sail whenever yer ready. Just let me know, yeah?" The captain said to everyone. "Well it's now. So let's go." William said to the captain. Then everyone got onto the ship, took off, and went into their rooms getting some sleep. On the ship William was tossing and tuning in his sleep, while glowing green, red, and blue a little.

IN WILLIAM'S MIND

William opened his eyes to find himself in an unknown barren wasteland. William then felt the ground shake under him, and rain and harsh winds started to come from the sky. William looked up to see a mad Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre. Fighting an army of people armed with unknown technology, and with a army of creatures flying above them.

These creatures had human looking bodies, but their legs were long and sharp and didn't have any feet. their arms were four long tentacles, two were red and the other two were teal. Their heads were red with two fins on their sides with a teal face, all which had different colored crystals in their chest, some had purple, some had green, and many other colors as well.

"Deoxys?" William said, wondering what he was seeing, before Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre started to attack the armys. Groudon slammed his right foot into the ground, making the ground open up and making part of the army fall into a pool of lava. Then Kyogre flat a his fins, making a giant wave crashing to the army, knocking most off their feet, and washing some of them down Groudon's hole, but instead of hitting the lava, they are killed by the steam, form the wave hitting the lava first, instantly turning the wave into schooling hot steam. Then Rayquaza moved like lightning, knocking the Deoxys out of the sky, making them crash into the ground, making creators.

William could not move or turn away from this. He watched for what felt like days, as the armys and the land around them were easily destroyed by the raging Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre. It was at this point, all the Deoxys flew up into the sky, making Rayquaza chase them.

Rayquaza wasn't able to stop them, but he was able to catch one of them. This one was yellow, where the others were red. Rayquaza then opened his mouth, and fired a beam

of dark purple energy from his mouth. This completely destroyed the body of the Deoxys, leaving only it's purple crystal. William watched as the crystal fell to the ground, and shattered when it hit the ground. Then William noticed the Deoxys breaking through the atmosphere of the world he was on, and saw as only their crystals were flung into the far reaches of space.

"Is this the place Deoxys come from?" William asked himself, before he heard Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre let out a roar of rage. William then noticed the three of them charging at him. They all entered William. "FODRA WILL PAY!" Three raging voices said in William's head.

REALITY

It was morning, when William shot up. William then started to get up and left his room, leaving Swampert. Once he left his room, he ran into Asbel. "William morning." Asbel said to William. "Morning Asbel." William said to Asbel, rubbing his head. "You okay?" Asbel asked William. "Yeah, just another weird dream." William said to Absel. "Maybe you need some fresh sea air. Let's go outside." Asbel said to William, leading the two of them out to the back of the ship.

When they got there, they noticed Sophie looking out at the sea. Alone. "Oh, hey, Sophie. Checking out the view?" Asbel asked Sophie. Sophie nodded yes. Asbel and William then joined her. The three of them just looked at the sea in silence. "Can I… ask you two something? Is Richard your friend?" Sophie asked Asbel and William.

"Yeah, Sophie. He is. But not just me, he's your friend as well. Right? Remember the pact of friendship we made together?" Asbel asked Sophie. "Asbel's right, Richard may be acting strange, but he's our friend and we made a pack together." William said to Sophie. "But last time we tried, we couldn't do it…" Sophie said to them. "Well then, we'll just make another pact once Richard is back to normal." Asbel said to Sophie.

"One that includes all of our new Pokemon." William said to everyone. "So long as we care for each other, the pact can be remade." Asbel said to everyone. "Can we still remake it… If I defeat him?" Sophie said to everyone. "Are you saying you're going to do that to protect us?" Asbel asked Sophie. "If we do the pact of friendship with Richard again… Will it make these feelings go away? I have this feeling… that if I don't destroy him, I'll lose my other friends. But Richard is my friend, too. So why do I feel this way?" Sophie asked them. "You're probably just being over protective. We're not little kids anymore, we can take care of ourselves and make our own decisions." William said to Sophie.

"He's right Sophie. You've done everything you can to protect us, Sophie. There's no need for you to shoulder everything alone. Let me take care of Richard." Asbel said to Sophie. "Don't you mean we?" William asked Asbel. "No me. He's a good person, I know he is. There must be a reason for what he's doing." Asbel said to William. "Asbel…" Sophie and William said to Asbel at the same time.

It was at this point the ship pulled up to a small island. Everyone got off the ship, and noticed that the island was covered in ruins, with grass trying to retake it. The ruins looked like a small city, with a staircase that went up, with worn out statues of Groudon, and Kyogre on the sides of the staircase, and a worn out statute of Rayquaza on a arch at the top of the stairs, with green, red, and blue crystals under Rayquaza.

"So this is World's Eye." Malik said to everyone. "It's not very big. So where's the entrance to the Lastalia?" Cheria asked everyone. "My guest, up the stairs with the statues of Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre around it. Something tells me that's a good place to start." William said to everyone, as he led them to and up the stairs.

Once they reached the top of the stairs, they saw that it led to a path over, what looked like a dead volcano, that also had a stone seal covering it. "Hey, this must lead to the Lastalia! But it's been sealed off." Pascal said to everyone. "And it looks like it's been sealed for a long time." Alice said to everyone. "Well it looks like we beat Richard here." Asbel said to everyone, as he looked around. "Why did you have to say that?" William asked Asbel.

"Look! Look up there!" Cheria said to everyone, as they noticed Richard and Skarmory flying in. This made everyone run down the stairs, and met with Ricahrd and Skarmory on the ground level. They then noticed Ricahrd and Skarmory letting out a nastly black and red aura. "Richard! Skarmory! What happened to you two?" Asbel asked Richard and Skarmory. But they didn't respond, they just let out some groans of pain, and the aura around them became black, with hints of green, red, and blue in it.

"What's happening?" Malik asked everyone. "I don't think their bodies can handle all of that eleth's been absorbing?" Pascal said to everyone, as Richard and Skarmory slowly walked to the group. "Richard, stop! Stop right there!" Asbel said to Ricahrd. "Richard, Skarmory you two have to let go of the eleth." William said to Ricahrd and Skarmory.

"Shut up! All of you just shut up. We've come too far to let you stand in our way!" Richard said to everyone, as he pulled out his sword. Then Skarmory started to let out some red, green, and blue energy and made red, green, blue copies.

These new red copies were red, the back was covered in spikes, the edge of their wings, the horn on their heads became blades, their tailless were curved blades, and their talons became larger and sharper. Then Richard, Skarmory, and the copies started to attack. This scattered everyone.

William used his spear to block the attacks from all three color copies. "Swampert! No holding back! We will stand against any who will hurt our friends. We will stand for each other. And we will stand as the symbol of loyalty! and use Muddy Water William said, as he activated his Key stone. (You got it.) Swampert said, as he Mega Evolved. Once he finished Mega Evolving, Swampert made a title wave of mud. But then some of Skarmory's blue copies foremed a line in front of the mud wave, blocking the attack. And while a few of the blue copies survived the attack, most of the copies broke apart and faded away. But while Swampert was able to hold his own, William was losing his ground, and got knocked off his feet.

Meanwhile a red copy charged at Cheria and Kirlia. Cheria tried throwing a few daggers at one of Skarmory's red copies, but it used it's horn blade to counter the daggers. (Confusion.) Kirlia said, as her eyes glowed teal, and a teal outline appeared on the red copy and stopped it in its tracks. But it didn't take long for the red copy to start slowly moving again. And while Kirlia tried her best, the red copy broke, threw her Confusion, and charged at them again.

Then Alice came out of nowhere and blocked the red copy attack, but it just kept attacking, and each attack left starches on her shield. "Ducklett use Water Gun." Alice said to Ducklett. (Right.) Ducklett said, as she moved behind Alice's shield and poked her head from behind it. Ducklett then fired a steam of water at the red copy. But the Water Gun did very little. All it really did was annoy the red copy. So the red copy then kicked Alcie shield, sending Alice and Ducklett flying back a few feet into Cheria and Kirlia.

At the same time Pascal was firing Magic shots at a few of Skarmory's green copies flying at high speed above them. "Elgyem use Psybeam." Pascal said to Elgyem. (Roger.) Elgyem said as he fired a mutley color beam that moved in the shape of a sharp wavelength. But the attack missed the green copis. Then one of the green copies came charging at them, and knocking them down.

With Hubert he was blocking attacks from a green copy that was doing dive bombs on him and Inteleon. "Inteleon use Sniper Shot." Hubert said to Inteleon. (On it.) Inteleon said to Hubert, as he pointed his fingers at the green copy. Inteleon then fired a concentrated burst of water from his index fingers at where the green copy was going to be. But then one of Skarmory's blue copies moved in front of the Sniper Shot, taking the hit, and was still standing from it. Then the green copy came from behind the blue copy and slammed into Hubert and Inteleon.

Malik at the moment was clashing his blade with the horn of one of Skarmory's red copies. "Arcanine use Flame Wheel." Malik said to Arcanine. (You got it.) Arcanine said before he became encased in fire, and started to roll. But then one of Skarmory's blue copies got in front of Arcanine, and caught him. And while it burned the blue copy, the blue copy stopped Arcanine's attack, and then tossed Arcanine into Malik, sending Malik flying with him.

Absel and Boltund on the other hand were cutting through some of Skarmory's green copies, as they flew past them. "Boltund use Nuzzle." Asbel said to Boltund. (All ready on it.) Boltund said to Asbel, nuzzling the green copies that passed them, shocking them, and making them slower, easier to fight. But then some of Skarmory's blue copies came up from the sky, and dogged pield on Asbel.

Back with Sophie and Golett, they were trading blows with Ricahrd and Skarmory. (Drill Peck.) Skarmory said before his beck grew and started to spin like a drill. (Iron Defence.) Golett said as his arms turned silver, and he blocked Skarmory's attack. (Pound.) Golett said, as he grabbed Skarmory's neck, and tossed Skarmory over his head, and into the ground. Then Golett threw Skarmory away. That's when Sophie punched Richard in the gut, making him move back a bit.

(Not bad, pebble.) Skarmory said to Golett, as he got up. Golett said nothing. "I've had enough of this. End this." Richard said to Skarmory. (Gladly. I've been waiting to try out my new move. Iron Head!) Skarmory said, as he flew at Sophie and Golett, with his head bceom silver and rough. "Golett use Iron Defence." Sophie said to Golett, as she got ready to block Skarmory's attack. Golett said nothing, and turned his arms sliver, and got eady to block Skarmory's attack. And while they stopped some hitting them, the force behind Skarmory's attack was enough to send them flying, and make them land onto their backs.

Richard then started to move Sophie with his sword in hands. William noticed this. "Sophie!" William said as he started to run to Sophie, leaving Swampert. (William, wait!) Swampert said to William, trying to go after him. But a few of Skarmory's blue copies got in his way. (Get out of my way. Earthquake!) Swampert said to the blue copies, slamming his right hand into the ground, shaking the ground around them, and sending the blue copies flying.

Back with William he was about to strike Richard. (No you don't Metal Claw.) Skarmory said as he came down on William's back, digging in his sharp silver talons. (Now watch as Lambda finishes Protos Heis. Then I'll have my revenge against The Great Beast for shattering me all those years ago, by ending you.) Skarmory said to William, digging his talon deeper into William's back. This made William scream in pain.

William then watched as Richard got ready to run his sword through Sophie. This made Williams' eyes glow green, red, and blue. William then let out a roar, and a burst of wind burst out of William, getting Skarmory off him, Blew Richard away from Sophie, and get the attention of everyone, the Pokemon, and the copies. (Not again.) Skarmory said, before moving to Richards' side.

That's when everyone noticed William glowing green, as he got up. Then the glowing stopped and William was in his Rayquaza form, eyes glowing green. William ten let out a roar, and closed the fins on the side of his head. William then started to move around at high speed, slashing through Skarmory's copies. Doing this gave everyone the chance to get up. But before William finished all of Skarmory's copies, he turned and looked a Richard and Skarmory

Then William charged at Richard and Skarmory. (Protect!) Skarmroy said, forming a green bubble with spots or red and blue on it around him and Richard. And while the Protect, stopped William's attack. The force and burst of wind with it, caused Richard and Skamroy to move far back.

William stopped moving for a second, this gave two of Skarmory's blue copies the chance to grab him, and hold him in place. With that, one of Skarmory's red copies flew at William, with the intention to slashed off William's head.

But William's eyes turned red, and let out another roar. Then William burst into flames right before the red copy reached William, turning the two blue copies and the red copy to ash. When the flames died down, everyone could see William was in his Groudon form. "Since when can he change forms like that?" Pascal asked everyone, as Skarmory's cois all started to attack William.

William didn't move, but he did turn to face whatever copy was attacking him, and slamming his spear into them, forcing them into the ground, lighting them on fire, and killing them. After William kept killing the copis for a bit, Skarmory had enough. (Let's try this Iron Head.) Skarmory said as he charged at William, with his head becoming silver and rough.

William noticed this, and pointed his spear at Skarmory. William's spear grabbed Skarmory's head, making Skramory stop. But before William could light Skarmory on fire, the last two of Skarmory's copies, which were green, came up and grabbed him, and flew him into the air over the sea, before the heat from William set them on fire and killed them.

But with the copies dead, William fell into the ocean, making a big splash, and steam came from the sea from here William hit the water. (There. That should take care of him.) Skarmory said, as he flew back to Richard.

Then the steam stopped and a stream of water burst out of sea, and headed straight for Richard and Skarmory. (I spoke too soon.) Skarmory said before the water hit them, and became a water bubble, trapping them. That's when everyone noticed William in his Kyogre form swinging in the water bubble.

William then started to attack. (Protect!) Skarmoy said, forming a green bubble with spots or red and blue on it around him and Richard. And while it did protect them from William attacks, it didn't stop them from the fact they were trapped in a water bubble running out of air.

And after a bit the Protect failed, and Ricahrd and Skarmory started to tack hits, unable to breath and fight in the water. William was about to run Richard and Skarmory threw with his spear, but Swampert jumped in the water bubble and grabbed William, stopping William from attacking. William let out a roar, trying to break free. Swampert then slammed his head into William's head.

(William. You need to stop. I don't know what's going on with you. But I know you can bet on this. You ride Rayquaza, while he fights Groudon, and Kyogre. You're strong, brave, and loyal to your friends, whether they be people or Pokemon.) Swampert said to William. William just roared into Swampert's face. (Well that didn't work. Guess you need a bet down like a mad Pokemon.) Swampert said before punching William in the face, a lot.

William then growled in pain, and broke the water buble, letting them all fall to the ground, soaking wet, with William in Swampert's arms, Swampert landing on his legs, and Ricahrd and Skarmory landed on their fronts, and weren't getting up.

William then turned back to his human form, and as the water returned to the sea. Swampert then put William down. But the power he used made him tired and he started to wobble around, lucky Asbel caught him, and placed one of William's arms over his shoulders, helping stabilize William. Then everyone rallied around Asbel and William. Meanwhile Richard rolled over to his back, as Skarmory limped over to him, only to fall right next to him.

"Why! Why… Why won't this body…?" Richard asked, with a twisted voice, as he and Skarmory tried to get up. "Not after… We've made it this far…" Richard said, as he and Skarmory rolled around a little more, trying to get up. (We... must… get… up…) Skarmory said, his voice flopping back and forth from male and female.

"This is just sad." Alice said to everyone. "There's nothing else we can do except grant them a quick and merciful end." Malik said to everyone, as he started to step forward, his blade drawn. "No wait. Stop!" Asbel said to Malik, stopping him. "I can hear his voice… I hear Richard's voice. (I can hear Skarmory's voice as well. She's still in there.) Boltund said to everyone.

"Asbel… Asbel!" Richard said, rolling around, clenching his head. (Please… Help!) Skarmory said with a solid female voice. "Is that you?! Richard!" Asbel said to Richard, Letting William go, and walking to Ricahrd, with Boltund. (Skarmory, what's wrong?) Boltund asked Skarmory, as Swampert caught the weak and wobbly William, helping him stand and be stable by holding onto his shoulders.

"The pain… is too much.. Help me, Asbel!" Richard said to Asbel. (I can't... take it. This isn't... right. This isn't... what... we want.) Skarmory said to Boltund, female voice. "Yes… I'm right here for you." Asbel said to Richard. (What are you talking about Skarmory?) Boltund asked Skarmory, confused by her words. "I don't want to die. I don't want to die! Don't kill me! Please, Asbel… You are my… friend..." Ricahrd said to Asbel. (I just want to protect Ricahrd. I didn't agree with this madness.) Skarmory said to Boltund.

(Agree?) Boltund said, even more confused, as everyone walked closer to Richard, with Sophie getting right up to Ricahard and Skarmory and kneeling down at them. "Who's there? Oh, it's you again! Protos Heis!" Richard said, looking up to see Sophie kneeling in front of him. This surprised everyone. "P-Protos Hies?" Sophie asked. "We saw that name in the Archive of Wisdom." Asbel said to everyone, making a sharp pain appear in her chest.

"No you're wrong! I, I am… I'm Sophie! Richard… Let's make a friendship pact... With Skarmory join us. Then everything will be… okay." Sophie said to Richard. "Oh, Sophie…" Richard said, as he got onto his knees. But then Richard pulled out his sword and pointed it at Sophie's face. "Die." Richard said to Sophie. Everyone tried to stop Richard, but Richard blasting a burst of energy into Sophie's face, sending everyone flying and breaking the friendship pack.

This energy knocked everyone down, and sent Sophie flying into the Rayquaza statue, making it shatter, and some of its pieces slammed into the Groudon and Kyogre statue, breaking them, all of this kicked up the dust on the statues. When the dust cleared, everyone saw Sophie, still in one piece, knocked out in the rubble of the statues. "SOPHIE!" Asbel yelled, as everyone got up and started to dig Sophie out of the rubble, with what little energy they had left.

Meanwhile Ricahrd and Skarmory were laughing at this, as they got up, and started to fly separately. Malik stopped and noticed Richard and Skarmory in the air. "Wh… what the…?!" Malik said, as everyone else finished digging Sophie out of the rubble. "Sophie! Sophie, talk to me! Please open your eyes! Noooo!" Asbel said, shaking Sophie. "Asbel, stop that, you could make it worse. Let me look at her." Alice said to Asbel, getting him off Sophie, and quickly checking her. "She's alive, but she needs medical attention." Alice said to everyone.

"The time has come. We have finally arrived. And now there is no one who can stand in our way!" Richard said to Skarmory. (Then let's do this Lambda.) Skarmory said, with a male voice, before Richard let out liquid red and black energy, this energy then became some kind of organic matter and started to dig into the island. "Everyone, run! If we don't move now, Then we won't make it out of here alive!" Malik said to everyone, getting everyone ready.

"Sophie? Sophie!" Asbel said to Sophie, trying to wake her again. "Asbel, we have to go!" Hubert said to Asbel. (He's right.) Golett said, before he started to glow light blue. Golett became giant, his body become rounder and gaining a small cone like addition to the end of it, losing the strap around him and turned into a metal bar over a crack on his body, he gain long shoulders with a pint and yellow swirls on it, his small hand, became giant hands with yellow swirls on the back of it, his feet became big legs.

(Really now you evolve into a Golurk?) Swampert asked Golett, as he put William on his back, and Golett picked Sophie up. Then Golurk's legs moved into his body, and a flame burst out of it. This made Golurk fly away with Sophie. "Hey what about us?!" Pascal asked Golurk, as everyone else ran for their lives, after Golurk, with the organic stuff chasing them, and Ricahrd and Skarmory laughing at them.

But as luck would have it, the captain had the ship waiting for them, and once everyone got onto the ship, the Captain hightailed it out of there. As they left, they saw as the organic matter started to form a giant sphere around the island.
