Before we start, since this chapter has a lot of people in it, so to save time, I'm not going to detail on most of them, I'll still give details to the important people in this chapter like Kai for example. So here's part 2

Rebirth And New Trainers
Republic City Air Temple Island
After everything that happened on the Kyoshi Bridge, the gang decided to go on a trip, and Asami brought them a large fancy airship for the trip. Everyone, but Mako and Zoey, watched as the airship docked near the temple. "Did someone order a fully-equipped Future industries Airship?" Asmai asked everyone, as she walked off the airship.
"It's perfect. Thanks, Asami." Korra said to Asami, with Treecko on her shoulders and wonder in Treecko's eyes. "I figured if we're going to Ba Sing Se to search for Airbenders, we should do it in style." Asami said to everyone. "Yay! Airship!" Meelo said. "I wanna see." Ikki said, as she made an air scooter, and went into the airship. "Come on, Poki." Meelo said to Poki. Poke hopped onto Meelo's head and Meelo made an air scooter and followed Ikki. "Good thing we didn't rent it." Dakota said to everyone. "I'll go get them." Lily said to everyone, making an air scooter and going after the kids.
"While you guys are gone, Pema and I will hold down the fort." Pema said to everyone, before picking up Rohan. "Who's excited to spend some time with your auntie Kya?" Kya asked Rohan, as she bounced him. Rohan then threw up on Kya. "Oh." Kya said. "Aww. He likes you." Pema said to Kya, as Kya waterbend the puke off her.
Everyone watched this with a smile on their faces, and then Korra and Lucas noticed Zoey and Mako, in their normal clothes, walking to them. "Hey Zoey." Lucas said to Zey, as he and Korra walked to Mako and Zoey. "Hey guys." Zoey said to them, as she and Mako stopped in their tracks. "Mako, I'm so glad you're here." Korra said to Mako, as Move took a cylinder off his back. "Of course, Korra. Avatar-. Avatar Korra. Once Me and Zoey reserved your message. We proceeded to contact various locations within the earth kingdom as ordered by you, The Avatar." Mako said to Korra.
"Right. The Avatar thanks you for your Loyal service." Korra said to Mako. "Can we get back on topic before Mako makes things even more awkward?" Lucas asked everyone. "Right." Zoey said, taking the cylinder from Mako, and pulling a map out of it. "There are reports of airbenders popping up all over the earth kingdom. We marked the villages in this map." Zoey said to everyone, showing off the map. "Sounds like we're ready to go." Korra said, as Zoey put the map back in the cylinder, then placed the cylinder on her back.
"Well then I'll be off, I have a Scorbunny to find." Mako said to everyone, before he took a step to leave. "Actually I was kind of hoping you could come too." Korra asked Mako, making Mako stop. "Really?" Mako asked Korra. "We all do, after all it won't be a Team Avatar trip without you." Lucas said to Mako. "Um, it's probably better if I sit this one out." Mako said to everyone.
"I know things have been weird between us since we broke up, but they're right, you're a part of Team Avatar and we can't do this without you." Korra said to Mako, taking a step towards him. "I'm sorry, I can't." Mako said to Korra, as he started to walk away from Korra. "Okay, time for plan B. Bolin let's go." Zoey said to Bolin, as he went after Mako. Bolin nodded and went after Mako and Zoey.
Meanwhile Pema was saying goodbye to Tenzin. "I'll miss you, sweetie." Pema said to Tenzin, giving him a small kiss. "I'll miss you too. Once we find the airbenders, I'll send word. You can join us at the Northern Air Temple then." Tenzin said to Pema. "Hey! How come Jinora gets to go with you but we don't?" a voice asked Tenzin, as he and Pema noticed Meelo, Ikki, and Lily moving to them. "That's so not fair." Ikki said to Tenzin, crossing her arms. "Yeah, what this girl said. Not fair." Meelo said to Tenzin, crossing his arms.
Tenzin looked at Lily. "I had to tell them before they trashed the airship." Lily said to Tenzin. "The reason you're not going is, because if airbenders show up here, they're going to need some guidance from you two. It's a very important job." Kya said to Ikki and Meelo. "Really? Me, a teacher? Yay!" Ikki said, feeling better. "Those maggots will bow to me." Meelo said. "And now I'm worried for those new airbenders." Lily said to everyone. "Go easy on them, son." Tenzin said to Meelo.
"On a side note, Kya you have my Rotom Phone?" Lily asked Kya. "I have it." Kya said to Lily. "And you remember how to use it?" Lily asked Kya. "Of course." Kya said to Lily.
Back with Bolin and Lucas, they caught up to Mako, before Mako could get on the boat they used to get here. "Mako, wait a sec." Bolin said to Mako. "Korra and Lucas already asked, bro." Mako said to Bolin. "Come on Mako, join us." Zoey asked Mako. "I can't just leave Republic City. I have a life here and a job." Mako said to Zoey.
"A life? You sleep under your desk. And what's more important job, then helping the Avatar rebuild an entire civilization?" Bolin asked Mako, making Mako turn away from Bolin and Zoey. "It's not just that. I feel like I've been drifting apart from everyone." Mako said to everyone. "That's all you Mako." Zoey said to Mako.
"Yeah, drift back. We need you! Come on, Mako, We're going to Ba Sing Se where dad grew up. What if I meet our gandama for the very first time? And she asked me, "where's your sweet brother?" And I have to say, "I'm sorry, grandma. He had some really important police paperwork to file." And she starts to cry those grandma tears and is like, "Mako! Why? Why, Mako? I can't go on. I can-'t-" And then she dies." Bolin said to Mako, acting out the scene, and grabbing Mako. "You spent way too much time with Verrick." Zoey said to Bolin, rolling her eyes.
"Okay, all right. I'll come with you." Mako said to Bolin, getting Bolin off him. "I guess I gotta call Beifong. She's not going to be happy." Mako said to everyone. "When is she happy?" Zoey asked Mako. "Good point." Mako said to Zoey. "Besides, I already told Lin that you and I were leaving with Korra." Zoey said to Mako. "What? You knew I would agree to go?" Mako asked Zoey. "I had three plans, one Korra asked you and you get over yourself and join us. Two what Bolin just did, and it worked." Zoey said to Mako, before she started to walk away.
"And the third plan?" Mako asked Zoey. "We knock you out and toss you onto the airship." Zoey said to Mako, not fasing Mako. Mako just rolled his eyes. Then Mako and Bolin started to follow Zoey.
Once they were gone, something started to move around in the back of the boat Zoey and Mako used to get here. And it was Scorbunny. Scorbunny then got out of the boat and ran after everyone, staying out of sight. Scorbunny then saw everyone loading up the airship, and then Scorbunny noticed Mako going into the airship. So when no one was looking, Scorbunny sneaked into the airship.
After a bit, the airship was loaded and ready to go, so everyone leaving, got on, and it took off, with Pema, Kya, Ikki, and Meelo waving goodbye from the ground. And Korra, Lucas, Lily, Zoey, Dakota, Mako, Bolin, Asami, Tenzin, Jinora, Bumi, Olivia, Caterpie, Treecko, and Bum-Ju, waving goodbye from the ship. "Bye. We'll miss you." Meelo said while waving.
On the upper deck of the ship, Naga, Oggi, and Bree were sticking their tongues out with the wind blowing on their faces. Inside everyone was sitting at a large table with couches around it, with the map Zoey and Mako made in front of them. "These are the towns where we've gotten reports about airbenders. It looks like we can hit up most of them before we get to Ba Sing Se." Mako said to everyone.
"We're going to bring the Air Nation back from the brink of extinction after nearly 200 years." Korra said to everyone. "And it'll all be because of you and the others, Korra." Tenzin said to Korra. "Don't celebrate yet. Rebuilding a nation is easier said than done." Zoey said to everyone. "And we can't do anything on an empty stomach. I'm heading to the kitchen and making some lunch. You all figure out where we're going first." Lucas said to everyone, as he left them.
While Lucas was making lunch, Scorbunny sneaked into the kitchen, and noticed the plate of sandwiches Lucas made, as Lucas put a lid over it. Then while Lucas had his back turned to the sandwiches, cleaning up the mess he made, Scorbunny sneaked to the sandwiches and got under the lid.
And after Lucas finished cleaning, Lucas took the food to everyone. "Lunch is served." Lucas said to everyone, as he placed the food on the table. Then Lucas pulled the lid off, to reveal Scorbunny was lying on the plate, with a large belly, and crumbs on it's cheeks and around it. "Scorbunny." Scorbunny said with a smile on its face. "YOU!" Mako said, as he dived onto the table. Scorbunny noticed this, and quickly jumped off the table, dodging Mako.
Mako then slid across the table, and landed on the other side of it. Mako then got up and looked at Scorbunny. "Scorbunny." Scorbunny said, taunting Mako. Then Mako started to run after him mad, and Scorbunny ran away from Mako, like it was a game. Everyone looked at this with a worried look, but not Lucas, he just chuckled at this.
"It's been so long since I've seen a playful Scorbunny." Lucas said to everyone. "Playful? It's messin with Mako?" Bolin asked Lucas. "Well he's a Scorbunny." Lucas said to Bolin. "What does that have to do with it? And how do you know it's a boy?" Korra asked Lucas. "Oh right I never told you about this. In Galar the starter Pokemon go through phases when they evolve." Lucas said to everyone.
"What do you mean phases?" Asami asked Lucas. "You see, it's rare for a Pokemon's personality to change when they evolve. But in the case of the Galar starters. It's pretty common for personalities to change when they evolve. The normal cycle for a Scorbunny's personality is, a silly little kid, but this one is more prankster than silly, a serious teen, and a playful adult." Lucas said to Asami.
"Did Rilliaboom go through something like that?" Jinora asked Lucas. "Yes, but in his own way. For Rilliaboom the cycle for his kind personality is, curious kid hitting everything with their sticks, which once caused an Onix to chase me and Rilliaboom, after I got him, and after Rilliaboom poked his stick into the eye of the Onix..." Lucas said to Jinora, but Bolin interrupted Lucas.
"What's an Onix?" Bolin asked everyone. "A giant snake made out of boulders, easy to anger." Zoey said to Bolin. "Sounds terrifying." Bolin said to Zoey. "But on topic. Rillaboom's second form is a punk kid, hitting everything with his sticks, even if it's a living thing. Then finally his last stage is a peaceful drummer." Lucas said to Jinora. "Interesting." Jinora said
"Lucas, you said Scorbunny is a "he"." Korra asked Lucas. "It's actually common for Starter Pokemon to be Male, but every now and then a female starter is born." Lucas said to Korra. "Aw, should we stop them?" Bumi asked everyone, making them notice Mako still chasing Scorbunny, and Scorbunny thinking it was a game. "Nah, let them burn off some energy." Lucas said to everyone.
The Sea
In the sea, in the middle of nowhere, a small wooden prison flowed in the water, all of it to guard one man in a wooden cage. With light brown skin, long black hair and long black mustache and beard, light gold brown eyes, tattoos on his arms, upper chest, legs, wearing green shorts.
Then a boat moved to the prison. "Finally, our shift change is here." A guard said, as he and another guard walked to the dock. When the guards got there they noticed only one guy on the boat. "Hey, where are the other guards?" the guard asked the man in the boat. And then they realized the man on the boat was Zaheer. "Zaheer?" the guard asked before he and the other guard fired a fire burst at Zaheer.
But Zaheer used his airbending to dodge the fire, and knocked the guards into the sea. Zaheer then used his airbending to dodge and attack the other guards. During the fight, Zaheer threw rocks into the man's wooden cage. And while Saheer kept fighting the guards, the man started to earthbend the rocks, molding them into one, and making them spin, transforming it into a molten five curved throwing star.
With this molten star, the man easily cut through the wooden cage, and joined the battle. And when the man joined the battle, the guards were quickly overrun and lost. Then Zaheer and the man grabbed each other's hands. "Nice to see you again, Ghazan." Zaheer said to the man. "Thanks for busting me out. Where'd you pick up the new skills?" Ghazan asked Zaheer. "I have Harmonic Convergence to thank for that. I was given a gift. I believe it's a sigh that our path is a righteous one." Zaheer said to Ghazan.
The Earth Kingdom
With the gang, they were flying in the airship, with Mako chasing Scorbunny all over the ship for hours, and Zoey had enough of this. "Okay that's it. Vanilluxe use Ice Beam." Zoey said, letting Vanilluxe out of his Pokeball. "Vanilluxe." Vanilluxe said, before firing a light blue beam at Mako and Scorbunny, freezing them, minus their heads, in a block of ice. "You two need to stop this game of Persian and Pikachu, it's getting annoying. So you two are going to spend time together." Zoey said to Mako and Scorbunny, before leaving with Vanilluxe.
"Hey, unfreeze us first." Mako said to Zoey. "Nope." Zoey said to Mako before moving out of view. "Now what?" Mako asked Scorbunny. "Scorbunny." Scorbunny said, before his body became encased in fire. This melted the ice around him and freed him. "Scorbunny." Scorbunny said to Mako. "Well got for you, but I can't make fire like this." Mako said to Scorbunny. "Scorbunny." Scorbunny said, kicking the ice hard twice. This smashed the ice and freed Mako. "Thanks." Mako said to Scorbunny. "Scorbunny." Scorbunny said to Mako.
Then Bolin walked up. "Hey Bro, Dakota and Lily want to talk to everyone." Bolin said to Mako, before leaving. "Right, I'm coming." Mako said to Bolin, as he started to walk. Scorbunny then followed Mako. "What do you want?" Mako asked Scorbunny. "Scorbunny." Scorbunny said, jumping around Mako. "What? Are you saying you like messing with me?" Mako asked Scorbunny. "Scorbunny." Scorbunny said to Mako, nodding yes. "Look, I don't have time to play." Mako said to Scorbunny leaving. Scorbunny didn't leave Mako alone, and followed Mako.
In the main room everyone was waiting for Lily and Dakota. When the two got there, Lily was carrying a wilted flower in a pot, and Dakota was carrying a pot full of soil. "Hello everyone. So we made some discoveries with our plantbending." Lily said to everyone, as she and Dakota put the pots on the table. "And those are?" Jinora asked Lily and Dakota.
"For one it can heal plants." Lily said to Jinora, as she waved her arms, making the flower regrow and become healthy. "But we can't make a plant wilt." Lily said, waving her arms around, but nothing happened to the plant. Instead it got a little bit bigger. "We also learn we can make things grow and control how they grow." Dakota said to everyone, placing his hands on the pot, and made them lightly glow green. Dakota then raised his hands, making a small tree grow out of the pot, and then turned his right hand, making the tree's trunk split off from each other and grow serptily. "But we can't undo that growth." Dakota said as he tried to push the trunks back, only to make tiny branches pop out of the trunk instead.
"So we can only make things grow?" Zoey asked Lily and Dakota. "Yes. We also found we can move plants as well." Lily said to Zoey. "If you can then why could you move the vines?" Korra asked Lily. "Our best guess is that the spirit energy in the vines are messing with our plantbending. That's probably why we had a hard time controlling the vines when they shot out of the water." Dakota said to Zoey. "In any case, now we know what we can and can't do. So now we have to figure out how we can use it for more than farming." Zoey said to everyone. "I think I have an idea about that." Lucas said to everyone. "It'll have to wait. We're at our first stop." Asami said to Lucas.
The Airship landed in a small town. Once it finished landing, everyone got off. "You guys go on without me. I'll be right back." Lucas said to everyone. "Where are you going?" Korra asked Lucas. "I'll be in the forest for a bit. I wouldn't be gone for too long." Lucas said to everyone, before leaving. "I'll go with him." Asami said Korra, following Lucas. Everyone else surged their shoulders and started to walk.
Everyone soon found themselves in front of a large house. There a man greeted them. "Avatar Korra, and her friends, Oh, it is such an honor to have you come to our humble village." The man said to Korra. "Thanks." Korra said to the man. "I hate to get down to business, but is the airbender here now?" Tenzin asked the man. "Kuon and his family will be joining us shortly for a special dinner. Please, right this way." the man said to Tenzin, before leading the group into a building.
After a bit, a family came, a man, a female, a little boy and girl, and a baby that was two or three years old, and dinner was out in front of them. "Koun has been the talk of the town ever since he got airbending. He's like a local celebrity." the man said pointing to the other man indicating it was Koun. "I just want to say that it's an honor to meet a fellow airbender." Tenzin said to Koun. "Oh, I still just think of myself as a simple farmer… who can airbend." Koun said, jesting his hands, making a guest of air. This gust of air, made the pie on the table fly into Bolin's face.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I still don't have any control." Koun said to Bolin. "No worries. I love pie. And so does Pabu." Bolin said to Koun, as Pabu licked off some of the pie on his face, and took the pie away and under the table. Scorbunny, Caterpie and Treecko joined Pabu in eating the pie.
"Well, you're so much more than just a farmer now. Harmonic Convergence changed everything. You represent the future of a culture that is being reborn. You're going to help us rebuild the Air Nation." Tenzin said to Koun. "I'm gonna do what now? The only thing I'm planning to rebuild in my barn." Koun said to Tenzin. "But you must come with us to the Northern Air Temple." Tenzin said to Koun. "Well, I can't do that. I have a family and a farm." Koun said to Tenzin, getting defensive. "Of course you can come. This is of utmost importance! Your wife will understand." Tenzin said to Koun.
"Wait, what? No, I do not understand." Koun's wife said to Tenzin. "Daddy, where are you going? Why does the bald man want to take you away?" Koun's daughter asked Koun. "No one's going to take daddy away sweetheart." Koun's wife said to Koun's daughter "Actually, this bald man does want to take him, but it's for an important cause. Your dad is an airbender, and he should learn about his culture." Korra said to Koun's daughter.
"I think there's been some sort of misunderstanding. I'm not going with you. I might be able to airbend, but I'm no Air Nomad! I'm no monk." Koun said to everyone. "Okay, uh, maybe we should just have some dessert, huh? Who's up for dessert?" the man asked everyone. "Sir, you must understand, you're an airbender now, and there are thousands of years of culture you must learn about. Skills you must master." Tenzin said to Koun. "You expect me to abandon my entire life? My family? No! No, sir! I'm not going anywhere with you and I think it's best that you leave!" Koun said to everyone. This shocked Tenzin.
Meanwhile, Lucas and Asami were looking through a nearby forest. "Lucas, what are we looking for?" Asami asked Lucas. "I'm... looking... for... this." Lucas said to Asami, as he looked around, then moved to a tree. Lucas then pulled a vine of the tree. "A vine?" Asami asked Lucas. "I have an idea on what to do with it." Lucas said to Asmai, as some things started to rustle some nearby bushes.
This got them on guard, but their guards dropped when a little yellow fox with a patch of white fur around it's cheek and mouth, scarlet red eyes, two lumps of scarlet red fur in its large ears, a big fluffy tail with a scarlet red tip, it was covered in dirt and mud, and looked exhausted. "A Fennekin. And it doesn't look good." Lucas said. "A Fennekin?" Asami asked Lucas. Lucas pulled out his Rotom Phone and pointed it at Fennekin, and an image of Fennekin appeared on the Rotom Phone.
"Fennekin is the Fox Pokemon. A Fire Type. Eating a twig fills it with energy, and it's roomy ears give vent to air hotter than 390 degrees Fahrenheit. On my phone it says it's a girl." Lucas said to Asami while reading his phone. Then the Fennekin passed out in front of them. "She needs help. Let's get back to the ship." Asami said to Lucas, picking up the Fennekin. Lucas nodded and put the vine over his right shoulder.
The two of them went back to the ship. Their Lucas gave the Fennekin a quick look over. "I don't see any injuries or anything. I guess she's just tired and probably hungry as well." Lucas said to Asami. "Why don't you make her some food, while I give her a bath." Asami asked Lucas. Lucas nodded yes, and left.
Asami then took Fennekin to one of the bathrooms and fuld up the tube in it. Once the water was warm and ready, Asmai put Fennekin in the water, and started to rub some shampoo into Fennekin's fur. The stimulation from both the hot water and Asami rubbing shampoo into her fur, woke up Fennekin. "Fennekin?" Fennekin asked, looking around. "Hey there." Asami said to Fennekin. "Fennekin?" Fennekin asked Asami. "I'm Asami. How are you feeling?" Asami asked Fennekin.
Fennekin then looked at herself. "Fennekin." Fennekin said to Asami, smiling. "Good, now let's finish cleaning you up." Asami said, as she got back to washing Fennekin. All the while Fennekin giggled and enjoyed getting clean. Asami couldn't help but smile as well.
After Asami finished washing all the dirt and mud off, Asami dried Fennekin off with a towel, then brushed her fur. With that done, Asami picked Fennekin up and walked to the main room of the airship. While heading that direction they ran into Lucas, who had a fruit salad and some twigs on a plate and headed that same direction. But when they reached the room, they found everyone else sulking around. "What happened?" Asami asked everyone. "Can you get this ship moving and we'll explain." Zoey said to Asami. "I'll talk to the pilot." Lucas said to Asami, putting the food down and walking to the ship's helm.
Once the ship started to move, Asami and Lucas took a seat at the table, and everyone explained what happened with Koun, while Fennekin ate the food while in Asami's lap. "So he said no. And by the sound of it a hard no?" Lucas asked Korra, after they all finished explaining what happened. "In my head I saw that paying out very differently." Korra said to Lucas. "I bet." Lucas said to Korra.
"Maybe you should have stayed and tired harder to convince him to join us?" Asami asked everyone, as she gave Fennekin some pets. "Or we could've thrown him into a potato sack and forced him into the ship." Bolin said to everyone. "That's how they got me to join the United Forces." Bumi said to everyone, as he played with Bumi-Ju. "Somehow that doesn't surprise me." Dakota said to Bumi.
"No, we can't coerce people or throw them in potato sacks. They must come freely." Tenzin said to everyone. "Tenzin's right. It won't look good for the Air nation, if every person we take is basically forced into it." Lily said to everyone. "But not to worry, there are plenty of other airbenders out there who will be happy to come with us once they find out what the Air Nation's all about." Tenzin said to everyone.
Needless to say, no one was interested, Tenzin tried to convince people to join, but nothing was working, and it was a blow to morale. "I really thought I had that last guy. Who doesn't want a bison as their best friend?" Tenzin asked everyone. "It's okay, Tenzin. Olivia and I still want to be an airbender." Bumi said to Tenzin. "Okay, we've tried it your way, and people just don't seem to be responding. It's time for a little tough love." Korra said to everyone. "Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Dakota asked.
For the next stop, Korra, Bolin, Mako, and Zoey went to meet with the next Airbender, without their Pokemon. There a woman met them at the door. "Oh, are you the Avatar?" the woman asked Korra. Korra nodded yes. "We're here about the airbender." Korra said to the woman. "When my son got airbending, my husband and I were so happy. We thought this could open a lot of doors for him. And Maybe he could finally move out of the basement." the woman said to Korra, as she led everyone into her home, and elbowed Korra during that last part, before laughing.
Korra laughed a little at this. "How old is he?" Korra asked the woman. "He's 22, and you know, still just figuring his life out." The woman said to Korra. "Well, I have a great opportunity for him. We're looking for airbenders to join us at the Northern Air Temple." Korra said to the woman, making the woman squeal. "That sounds wonderful! I'll get him. Pyu, get up here!" The woman said to Korra, before yelling down some stairs.
Korra signaled to everyone that this was going well, and while Mako and Bolin agreed with Korra, Zoey had a bad feeling about this. Then a man with messy hair and clothes, Pyu, came up. This made Zoey have an even worse feeling about this. "Hi, I'm Korra." Korra said to Pyu, holding a hand out. "So, you're like the Avatar or something? Big deal." Pyu said to Korra, turning his head away from Korra.
"Ah, I just wanted to talk to you about an opportunity-" Korra said to Pyu, but Pyu interrupted her. "Yeah, I heard you talking to my mom, and I'm not interested." Pyu said to Korra, before walking away a little. "Well, you're gonna be interested!" Korra said to Pyu, before grabbing the back of his shirt and throwing him into a chair. "You're an airbender now, and you have a responsibility as a citizen of the world." Korra said to Pyu. "Whatever. I didn't ask to become an airbender, you know." Pyu said to Korra.
"Well, I didn't ask to be the Avatar, But I am, and I'm fulfilling my duties." Korra said to Pyu. "So? You don't have to." Pyu said to Korra. "Yes, I do have to." Korra said to Pyu. "No, you don't." Pyu said to Korra. "Yes, I do." Korra said to Pyu. "No, you don't." Pyu said to Korra. "Well, if I didn't embrace my role, then our entire world would be dust. Think about that, is that what you want?" Korra asked Pyu.
"Maybe." Pyu said to Korra. "No, it's not!" Korra said to Pyu. "Korra enough! Pyu is not interested in anything. Even if he comes with us. He'll just try and get out of work." Zoey said to Korra. "After all, isn't that why you're still here? Scared to do work. Or scared to try?" Zoey asked Pyu, leaning into his face, giving Pyu a mean look. "In any case. We're done here and leaving." Zoey said to everyone, giving everyone a mean look, signaling Korra, Mako, and Bolin to exit the house.
Once they left the house. Korra got mad at Zoey. "Why did you stop me?" Korra asked Zoey. "Because it was pointless. Pyu had no interest in doing anything or care. I doubt he would do anything if we took him, but it would be a waste of food and space." Zoey said to Korra. "Numel." Something cyied, getting everyone's attention.
They followed the sound to find a small tan creature, with a large round back with a patch of green on it, four short stomps for legs, a short thin neck, a head that was flat on two sides, oval eyes with a dazed look in them, short round ears, a bump on top of it's head, a small mouth, a sand color belly, and sand color circle around the front of it's head.
This creature was at the bottom of a hill, and was on it's side, unable to get up. "A Numel." Zoey said to everyone. "Numel?" Korra asked Zoey. Zoey said nothing, and pulled out her Rotom Phone. "Numel is the Numb Pokemon. A Fire and Ground Type. It's humped back stores intensely hot magma. In rain, the magma cools, slowing Numel down. And it's a boy." Zoey said to everyone, as she put her Rotom Phone away.
"What's wrong with him?" Mako asked Zoey. "it must have fallen down this hill and can't get up. Pretty normal for a Numel." Zoey said to Mako. "It is?" Korra asked Zoey. "Numel's back is full of magma, so when it's on it's side, it makes it harder for them to get up, and their stubby legs don't help." Zoey said to Korra.
"I got this." Bolin said to everyone, as he went down the hill. "Hey buddy I got you." Bolin said to Numel, as he started to pull, slowly getting Numel back onto his feet. "Numel." Numel said to Bolin, thanking him. "Why didn't you use your earthbending?" Zoey asked Bolin, this made Bolin realise what he could have done. "I forgot." Bolin said to Zoey, making everyone, even the numel giggle a little at Bolin. "Numel?" Numel asked Bolin.
"What?" Bolin asked Numel. "Numel." Numel said moving closer to Bolin. "You want to come with me?" Bolin asked Numel. "Numel." Numel said to Bolin, nodding his head yes. "I don't know, I was kinda hoping for something cool." Bolin said to Numel. "Bolin, Numel's final form is a walking volcano." Zoey said to Bolin. "In that case. You can come with me Numel." Bolin said to Numel, petting Numel's head.
"Should have known Bolin was looking for a cool looking pokemon." Zoey said to everyone. "Will it really become a walking volcano?" Korra asked Zoey, that depends on how the two of them get along.
A Volcano In The Middle Of Nowhere
Meanwhile in a real volcano. Another prison with only one prisoner was there. This prisoner was female, wearing blue robes, light brown skin, long black hair, brown eyes, and missing her arms. The woman was held close to the active lava below. Then she heard some competition above her, and saw Zaheer and Ghazan, who were in normal green clothes fighting the guards above her. During the fight Ghazan tossed a wooden barrel of water into the air above the woman, and Zaheer cut it open with his airbending, making water fall down towards the woman.
The woman spun around, making the water become water tentacles for her missing arms. The woman used the water tentacles to break out of her cell and join the battle. Zaheer, Ghazan, and the woman had no problem fighting the guards. The woman even turned her water tentacles into an ice hook and a water hand. The woman then tossed the guard she had with the ice hook into the volcano, as the battle ended.
Zaheer and Ghazan then moved to the woman, as the woman looked at her cell. "I never thought I'd be so happy to see your ugly mugs again." the woman said to Zaheer and Ghazan. "Great to see you too, Ming-Hua." Ghazan said to the woman. "I'm flattered, you busted me out before that girlfriend of yours." Ming-Hua said to Zaheer. "We're getting her next." Zheer said to Ming-Hua. "Talonflame." a voice said, getting their attention.
They turned their heads to see a large bird with a grey body and father's that made it look like it was on fire that went from it's head to the middle of its wings, the other half of the wings being black, yellow talon's with black talons, black beak with a yellow outline, black eyes with yellow and white circles in them, a horn like feather on its head, and a large four point black father, that has three yellow lines on it. This was a male Talonflame Pokemon.
This bird was carrying the guard Ming-Hua threw over the edge to safety. Once the guard was safe. Talonflame charged at Ming-Hua become encased in fire. Ming-Hua water whipped her water arm at Talonflame. But then Talonflame's fire turned into blue electricity, making it easy for Talonflame to go through Ming-Hua's water. Ming-Hua tirend to free her water, but even that didn't stop Talonflame. Talonflame then slammed into Ming-Hua, forcing Ming-Hua into a crate, smashing it. Talonflame then flow around doging Zaheer's air blast.
Then as Talonflame did another dived bomb, Ghazan tried to throw a boulder at Talonflame, but Talonflame turned his wings turned silver and smashed the boulder. Talonflame was about to hit Ghazan, but Zaheer fired a wind burst right into Talonflames left eye, leaving a scar. The pain from the scar made Talonflame lose focus, and let Ghazan dodge Talonflames attack. Ghazan then threw another rock into Talonflame, sending Talonflame into a fall and knocking him out.
With Talonflame down, Min-Hua got up and walked to Zaheer and Ghazan. "So this is one of Arceus' children." Ming-Hua said to everyone, as they looked at the outcold Talonflame. "I was expecting more of a fight from it." Ghazan said to everyone. "It only shows that we can end Arceus if this is the best his children can do. Now let's go. We've been here for too long." Zhaeer said to everyone.
The Earth Kingdom
With the Korra and everyone with her, Tenzin's morale was at an all time low. As the airship flew, and everyone took care of the Pokemon they had with them in the main room, Tenzin explained the new plan. "Well, I guess we should just go to Ba Sing Se. And try our luck there." Tenzin said to everyone. "I don't know what to do. I just thought more people would be excited about coming with us." Korra said to everyone.
"Maybe you can ask Arceus for this though on the matter. He might have an idea on how to solve our current problem." Lucas said to Korra. "I got nothing better." Korra said to Lucas, before leaving with Treecko.
"Well while Korra talks to Arceus, maybe we can try my idea first." Bumi said to everyone. "And your idea is what?" Lily asked Bumi. "We gotta do more to get them excited. We need to add a little razzle dazzle." Bumi said to Zoey. "Yeah, Razzle Dazzle. We could put on some sort of airbending street performance." Bolin said to everyone. "I was going to say we could cover Tenzin's robe in sequins, but that's even better." Bumi said to Bolin. "That could work." Lucas said to everyone.
"It's official. We are at our lowest when we're going with Bumi and Bolin's plan." Zoey said to everyone. "I'm willing to try anything at this point." Tenzin said to Zoey. "yes! That is the kind of enthusiasm I like to hear." Bolin said to Tenzin.
Meanwhile Korra went to her room, and started to meditate, with Treecko getting ready to sleep. It took Korra a few seconds to meditate.
The Prime Dimension
Korra Once again found herself in the Prime Dimension standing before Arcues. "Hello Korra." Arceus said to Korra. "Hey Arceus I was wondering if you could help me with our problem?" Korra asked Arceus. "And what is that?" Arceus asked Korra. "We're having trouble convincing people to join us. No one wants to come with us." Korra said to Arceus.
"Korra a to make a forest you don't need trees you need are seeds." Arceus said to Korra. "A seed?" Korra asked Arceus. "Your problem is that you ask people who have already put down roots, or still rooted with their parents. What you need is someone who isn't rooted." Arceus said to Korra. "But why a seed?" Korra asked Arceus. "One seed grows into a tree, that tree makes more seeds, those making more trees, in time a large forest will come from this. So instead of asking someone who has something, ask those who have nothing." Arceus said to Korra, before he started to glow yellow.
The Earth Kingdom
Korra found herself back in her room, wondering what Arceus' words ment. She diced to think about it, as she went to sleep.
The next Morning everyone was at the next town, a large crowd was in front of the airship, the gang by the entrance of the airship, and Bolin and Numel wearing mustaches in the middle of everyone, with Bolin speaking into a bullhorn. "Come one, Come all and witness the Amazing Airbenders! An airbending show that will leave you breathless with wind! First up, the tattooed master himself. You know him as the son of Avatar Aang. He saves every hair on his head, every single day. It's the one, the only guy with an arrow pointing to his nose- Tenzin!" Bolin said to everyone, As Tenzin removed his robes, showing off his fit, muscular body.
Tenzin then formed his air wheel and rolled around the crowd, making them cheer, As Tenzin moved to the middle. "Now, now, Ladies and Gentlemen. Ladies and Gentlemen, please be quiet. I have some serious news. We've heard that an escaped firebending convict has been spotted near here. Now, I don't want to panic anyone, but if you see a firebender with a red scarf…" Bolin said to everyone, as he looked at Mako, who was in the crowd. "I see him. He's right there!" Bolin said to everyone. "I am the escaped convict, and you will all reap my fire." Mako said to everyone, with a flat, lackluster tune is his voice. Mako then fired a small burst of fire into the air, making the crowd gasp.
"Oh, no, Who will help?" Bolin asked everyone. "I will! With my airbending skills." Korra said to everyone, before she airbender a tornado around Mako, making Mako fly into the air then dropping him, before. "Korra!" Mako said to Korra, getting worried. Korra just laughed at this, with Asmai thinking it was funny too. "You two have been waiting to do this for a while haven't you?" Zoey quietly asked Korra and Asami.
Next Lily rode on Bree's back as Oogi and Brre did some tricks. "Even these beasts can float like a father, even with someone riding them!" Bolin said to the crowd. Next Bumi and Olivia started to show off what little airbending they could do. "Look what can be done in only a few short weeks of practice. Then Jinora used her glider to fly past the crowd, while on her glider. "No, no, don't worry, folks, she might be young, but she is in full control." Bolin said to the crowd, as Jinora laned on a stone pillar.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, if you or anyone you know is an airbender, please send them our way. Master Tenzin, Avatar Korra, and Trainer Lily would love to teach them all they know." Bolin said to the crowd. And while Tenzin and Korra felt good about it, no one stepped forward.
Then something flew down to Tenzin's feet. It was a small light purple bat creature with two black claws on the middle of its wings, two fangs on an overbite, yellow eyes, small legs, and two very large purple ears for its body. "Noibat." the creature said to Tenzin. "Cool a Noibat. It's rare to see one during the day" Dakota said to everyone. "A Noibat?" Mako asked Dakota. Dakota then pulled out his Rotom Phone. "Noibat is the Sound Wave Pokemon. A Flying and Dragon Type. After nightfall, they emerge from caves they nest in during the day. Using their ultrasonic waves, they go on the hunt for ripened fruit. And it's a boy as well." Dakota said to Mako, before putting his Rotom Phone.
"But why is he here?" Bumi asked everyone. "Noibat." Noibat said, as he flew up and made a burst of wind burst out of his wings. "I think we got a fan." Lily said to everyone. "Well it's not the kind of airbender I wanted, but I could use the win." Tenzin said to everyone. "Noibat." Nobait said, flying onto Tenzin's shoulder. "I guess we should get going." Zoey said to everyone. "Wait." A male voice said to them.
Then everyone saw a young boy around Jinora's age, with light brown skin, short messy black hair, green eyes, wearing earth nation clothes, running towards the group, with a small black crown on his shoulder. The crow had a fluffy feather tail that had a red strap at the end, a tan uneven beck, tan legs and talons with white claws, with eyes with red circles in them, and the feathers on the top of it's head looked like a hat. "A Murkrow." Zoey quietly said.
"Hey. Hello. If you're looking for airbenders, you just found one." the boy said to everyone, before airbending a little. "I want to join you guys." the boy said to everyone. "Get outta town!" Bolin said to the boy, as everyone but Zoey got excited by this idea. Zoey on the other hand had a really bad feeling about this kid.
"We got our first recruit." Korra said to Tenzin. "Just to be totally clear, we're going to be heading to Ba Sing Se, then the Northern Air Temple to live as nomads and rebuild the Air Nation. All that sounds good to you?" Korra asked the kid. "Yeah, Ba Sing Se, rebuild the Temple, Air Nomad whaddyado- I'm in. Let's go right now." the boy said to everyone.
"This is going to be so great. You are gonna love it- uh, ah-. Real quick, what's your name?" Boling asked the boy. "Kai, and this is my bird. So when do we hit the road?" the boy asked everyone, making Zoey even more suspicious of him. "Hang on a second, Kai. Where are your parents? We can't have you come with us without their permission." Tenzin asked Kai. "My parents are… gone." Kai said to Tenzin. "You're an orphan?" Bolin asked Kai.
"My hometown was raided by outlaws, and my parents fought back against them. I was so scared, but they told me not to worry. They would protect me. And they did. My parents saved me and the entire village. But they died in the fight. Mom and Pop meant everything to me. They were my whole life. Ever since then, I've been on my own and on the run. Those same outlaws are still after me." Kali said to everyone, making Bolin sniffle.
"Well, you don't have to be on the run anymore." Bolin said to Kai. "Right, guys? Tell him." Bolin said to everyone. "I'm so sorry about your parents. I know we could never replace them, but we're here for you." Tenzin said to Kai. "We'll keep you safe. Come on." Korra said to Kai, as they started to move. "When you board this airship, you're gonna leave your old life behind and start a new path. That's some big brother advice. Just think of me as your big brother.
"Wait!" Zoey said to everyone, making them all stop and look at Zoey before entering the airship. "Tell us the truth." Zoey said to Kai. "I am telling you the truth." Kai said to Zoey. "Really? Cause the rush to get out of here and the Murkrow on your shoulder make me feel you're running, not from outlaws, but from the law." Zoey said to Kai. "What does my bird have to do with it?" Kai asked Zoey.
Zoey pulled out her Rotom phone, and pulled up Murrow's information and showed it to Kai. "Murkrow is the Darkness Pokemon. A Flying and Dark Type. Murkorw was feared and loathed as the alleged bearer of ill fortune. This Pokemon shows strong interest in anything that sparkles or glitters. It will even try to steal rings from Women." Kai said, reading the Rotom Phone. "So what my, Murrow as you call it, isn't bad." Kai said to Zoey, as the sound of engines filled the air. "Now what?" Zoey asked as five guys on motorcycles showed up.
"Looks like toubel." Mako said to Zoey, as one of the men got off the motorcycles. "Release the boy or we'll take him by force." one of the men said, as the other four earthbend rocks into the air. This made the Pokemon growl at them. "The outlaws- they're after me. Let's get out of here!" Kai said, as he tried to pull Korra into that airship.
"We're not running from anyone." Korra said to Kai. "If you want Kai, you'll have to go through me!" Korra said to the men, before leaping into action. The men fired their rocks at Korra, but Korra smashed the rocks. Korra then fired a few air kicks at men, knocking them down. But the one that ordered everyone to give him Kai got up, and was about to stick Korra with a large rock. But Treecko moved at high speed and slammed into the man's chest, making him miss Korra, and giving Kora an opening to make a shock wave in the earth, making the man fly into the air.
"Your days of harassing an innocent boy are over. You outlaws are going to prison." Korra said to the man she and Treecko defeated. "Outlaws? Innocent boy? I'm a sheriff and these are my deputies. And this kid is a thief. Whatever he told you is a lie. We've been chasing him for months." the man said to everyone.
Before anyone could reach Kai and Murrow took off. "Not so fast." Lucas said as he held out his left arm, there a vine shot out of his left sleeve and wrapped and grew around Kai and Murkorw. Lucas then jerked the vine back forcing Kai and Murkrow back to them. "What was that?" Bumi asked Lucas, as Zoey took Kai's bag and started to go through the Kai bag.
"A little idea I had. Back home there's stories about a group of Pokemon that live in a jungle in Galar. The stories said that they used Vines wrapped around them to fight, so…" Lucas said to Bumi, pulling down his left sleeve, revealing a vine wrapped around it. Lucas then cut off the part still connecting him to Kai and Murrow, and warped the vine around his arm.
"Nice idea Lucas." Lily said to Dakota. "I hate to say It told you so, but…" Zoey said to everyone, as she tossed Kai's bag to the ground revealing all the money in it. "I told you so. "I found that on the road." Kai said to everyone. "Enough with the lies, kid. I want the truth." Mako said to Kai. "We all do." Zoey said, as everyone, even the sheriff and his deputies circled around him. "The truth is, he's the outlaw. He spent his entire life as an orphan until he got adopted by a real nice family about six months ago. And how did he repay them? By taking their entire life savings. We've been after him ever since. Got even worse when this crow joined him." the sheriff said to everyone, as his deputies picked Kai up.
"Is that true?" Korra asked Kai. "The person who stole that stuff was the old me. Once I got airbending, I changed. I don't know how to explain it, but I feel like airbending chose me for a reason. Like I'm a new person." Kai said to Korra. "I doubt that. If you had changed you'd give the money back. But no, instead you begged us to take you away from here, with that money in your bag. You haven't changed, you were probably going to steal from us and bail on us when we land again. Take him away." Zoey said to Kai, and the deputies. "I'm sorry! Please! You have to listen to me." Kai said to everyone, as the sheriff and his deputies started to take Kai and Murkrow away.
"Are you taking him back to the orphanage?" Bolin asked the sheriff. "No. he's headed to jail." The sheriff said to Bolin. This made Korra remember about what Aruces told her. "Wait! You guys got the family's life savings back. Now let us take Kai." Korra said to the sheriff, surprising Tenzin and Zoey. "What?" Zoey asked Korra. "Do you really want our first new member of the Air nation to be a liar and a thief?" Tenzin asked Korra. "And one that's partnered with a bird thief?" Zoey asked Korra.
"Arceus told me we need to ask those who have nothing, he just needs some guidance, Tenzin and Zoey. And who better to give it to him than us?" Korra asked Tenzin and Korra. "She has a point. Kai might not be our ideal recruit, but beggars can't be choosers. And maybe we can steer him down the right path." Lily said to Tenzin and Zoey. "Do you want this kid or not?" The sheriff asked Tenzin.
Tenzin then started to think about it. "Yes. You can release the boy and his crow into our custody." Tenzin said to the sheriff, making Kai and Murkrow happy. "Tenzin you can't be serious?" Zoey asked Tenzin. "Zoey, can you remove the vines around Kai and Murkrow?" Tenzin asked Zoey. Zoey groaned. "Fine. but this is a bad idea." ZOey said to Tenzin, as she moved to Kai and Murkrow.
"I know I'm going to regret this." Zoey said to Kai, as she lit up her hands into the r flame claws, and slashed off the vines, freeing them. Once Kai and Murkrow were free, they moved to hug Korra. "Thank you." Kai said to Korra. "Don't me regret this either." Korra said to Kai, returengin the hug. "Welcome to the family, little bro." Bolin said to Kai, as he and Jinora joined the hug, and Bumi hugged Tenzin.
After the hug everyone started to get onto the ship, but Mako and Zoey stopped Kai and Murkow from getting on, wanting to give Kai and Murkrow a few words before boarding. "Just want you to know, I'm going to be watching you and your Murkrow, kid. I know exactly what you're all about because I've been there before. You don't have me fooled." Mako said to Kai. "Whoa, hey, lighten up. I'm turning over a new leaf. Making a change. Don't you worry about me or Murkrow." Kai said to Mako, as he tried to walk onto the ship. But Zoey jumped ahead of him.
"We'll give you a chance, but try anything or betray our trust, you and Murkrow will see what I'm like when I'm angry, and before you ask, no this isn't me being angry, just annoyed and suspicious." Zoey said to Kai, getting into Kai's face, making Kai and Murkrow nevious. "Zoey, stop trying to scare him." Jinora said to Zoey. Zoey just groaned and moved away from Kai.
"Hi, I'm Jinora. If you need any help with airbending I could show you what I know." Jinora said, having a blush on her face. "Thanks, that's real nice of you." Kai said to Jinora. "Jinora! We're leaving now." Tenzin said to Jinora, from the airship. Then Jinora, Kai, and Murkrow went into the ship. "Great Jinora's first crush is a thief." Zoey said as she lowered her head and entered the ship. The airship then took off.
A Volcano In The Middle Of Nowhere
Back at the volcano, a old man, with white skin, long white hair and beard, a burn mark over his left eye, wearing fire nation armor
With a guard explaining what happened, and Talonflame near them, rubbing the scar over his left with his left wing. "They came out of nowhere. I'm so sorry, Lord Zuko." the guard said to the old man. "How could you let this happen?" Zuko asked the guard. "They caught us by surprise. I almost fell into the lava. If not for the bird over there I would be dead." The guard said to Zuko. Zuko then looked at Talonflame
"I've never seen a bird like that before." Zuko said to the guard. "Could it be a Pokemon?" the guard asked Zuko. "Maybe." Zuko said to the guard. "Well it put up a fight, we found a broken crate once we woke up and no one was near it. So we think one of them must have been sent flying into it." The guard said to Zuko. "If he did knock out one of them, why did he lose?" Zuko asked the guard.
"Cause Zaheer is an airbender now." the guard said to Zukeo, surprising him. "No! This can't be. Do you have any idea the power these criminals possess? Individually, they can take down any bender. And my guess, can give Pokemon a hard time too. But put them all together, they could take down the entire world. And now you're telling me their leader is an airbender?" Zuko asked the guard.
"We can track them…" the guard said to Zuko, but Zuko intrigued him. "We don't need to track them. I know exactly where they're going. Notify the new chiefs of the Northern Water Tribe that an attack in their prison is imminent. And send word to Lin Beifong in Republic City. The Avatar must be protected." Zuko said to the guard, as the two of them walked to a dragon that was waiting nearby.
"Where are you going?" the guard asked Zuko. "To stop them." Zuko said to the guard, as he got onto the dragon. Then Talonflame flew and got behind Zuko. "You want to come?" Zuko asked Talonflame. "Talonflame talonflame talon." Talonflame said, showing off the scare. "Looking for a little payback. I know how that feels." Zuko said to Talonflame. "Talonflame?" Talonflame asked Zuko. "You can come. Might need some help stopping these criminals." Zuko said to Talonflame, before the dragon took off with Zuko and Talonflame on it.
