Chapter 20
Trouble Coming Home

Saiba headed back to his hometown on the other side of the portal in the other world. Once he arrived, he walks on the sidewalk to as he takes in the fresh air of his home. Went over to a few places such as the shrine that the JSDF made, head on over to the mochi shop at the market plaza, and said hi to a few friends.

"Hey there, Saiba!" says a dark skin girl around Saiba's age who has pink hair in twintails, lavender eyes, dressed in what you expect in a medieval-style fantasy blouse with a pink vest and skirt while also wearing matching shoes. And she also has cat ears and tail.

"Oh hey, Lia." Saiba greets her cat-girl friend at the plaza.

This is Lia, a childhood friend of Saiba's.

Lia happily headed over to Saiba, "How have you been?"

"I'm doin' alright. You?"

"Good."

They both then walked down the sidewalk over to Yuki-Neko.

"So I heard you went over to some sort of cooking school from hell. Is that true?"

"The part about me in the school or it is a cooking school from hell?"

She just smiles, "Both."

"I did." he replies.

Arthur explained what he had went through at the school, the people he met, the good and bad experiences he went through. Lia, is a bit...um... Let's just say she finds it all interesting despite the hell Arthur went through. But to him, it's just another day in the office...or kitchen.

"Wow. That's um...something." Lia just stares at him until they made it. "Oh look, we're here!"

They see Yuki-Neko just across the street as they hear a few glasses clanging with a group of people going, "CHEERS!"

"Oh? Did I miss something?" Saiba asks.

They enter in as they see some of the JSDF officers drinking their beer mugs.

"Hey!" Saiba enters.

"Whoa! Saiba!" one of the soldiers say.

"Saiba's back?" Aletta says as she holds a tray.

Tenshu peeks out from the kitchen, "Oh hey! Saiba! Welcome home."

The JSDF soldiers and the dwarves welcome him back with their mugs raised high to celebrate his return.

Altoirus looks at Saiba from his usual seat, "Hello, Saiba. Glad to see you again."

Tatsugoro has his sake cup in his hand, "How was that school you went to?"

"Managed to make it through the first half." Saiba heads to the kitchen, "Hang on, let me get ready."

Tenshu asks, "Are you sure that you should be working even though your on vacation?"

"It's alright!" Saiba says in another room, "I feel more at home doing work here!"

Kuro asks Lia through telepathy, 'Did he tell you what kind of school it is?'

Lia's eyes are wide open after imagining every single horrible thing in that school, "Let's just say that it definitely lives up to its reputation as a top-class school of elite chefs. I mean, the things they do. I thought cooking should be fun, not torture."

"Huh?" the soldiers look at each other in confusion.

Saiba came back after changing, "Okay, I'm..." Saiba look around and see everyone with shocked faces after what Lia told them what Saiba said. "Is everyone alright?"

"Uh-huh." they all nod their heads.

"Just how are you alive?" one of the female soldiers asks.

"Huh?" Saiba then changes the subject, "Anyway, what 're you guys celebrating?"

"Oh, Sgt. Tomita here is having a baby."

Sgt. Akira Tomita smiles and rubs the back of his head.

"Congrates man!"

"Thanks." and does some giggling.

Tenshu poke his head out, "Can I get some help?"

"Coming!" Saiba goes to the kitchen.

Yet while doing so, he gets a chill on the back of his spine. He looks around to see where that chill is coming from, but doesn't see anything. He scratches his head and tries to figure out.

'Weird. Why did I got a chill? Erina is not here and I highly doubt she'll be here.' He shrugs, 'Oh well. Just keep your head together and enjoy being at home.'

Saiba didn't get that chill from nothing. For Erina is in this other world. She is in a limo with her grandfather and Hisako as they drive down the street.

"Look, Ms. Erina!" Hisako points out the window, "There's people with cat ears!"

Erina looks out the window, "Oh my gosh! That's so adorable!"

Senzaemon laughs, "I'm glad you're enjoying our visit to the Special Region."

Erina looks at her grandfather, "Of course! This is the best time for me to let my hair down and enjoy the sights."

Hisako looks at Erina while blushing, 'Miss Erina is letting her guard down. She is the cutest! I want this moment to last forever.'

Erina asks her grandfather, "Are we there?"

"Almost, Erina, almost."

Back in the restaurant, the chills on Saiba's back keep getting worse.

'What the hell?' he wonders while looking around as he tries to clean the dishes, 'Why am I getting these chills? Erina isn't here and there is no way she can get to the Special Region.'

Aletta sees Saiba looking around, "Is something wrong, Saiba?"

Saiba lowers the plate and wash cloth, "I don't know. I keep getting these chills down my back."

"Probably because you haven't been back in a while?"

"No, it does that when a certain someone is close. But that's impossible."

"Excuse me!" Heinrich (Fried Shrimp) shouts, "Can I get another order of fried shrimp!?"

Aletta says, "Coming!"

Saiba tries to ignore it and continues cleaning before getting back to cooking.

But that is when the bell above the door rings.

"Welcome." Aletta says, "Oh! I've never seen you three before. Are you from the other side of the gate?"

"We are indeed." says a familiar elderly voice.

Saiba jolted his head up once he hears a familiar voice, 'Wait. I know that voice.'

Then hears another familiar voice, "Is Saiba here?"

That is when Saiba turned white when he heard Erina's voice. He runs out after drying his hands and sees Senzaemon, Hisako and Erina. Erina looks over and sees Saiba, sweating bullets and his eyes are buggin' out.

Erina's eyes have glowing pink hearts, "Saiba! My love!"

"Ah hell!" Saiba tries to run but gets tackles from behind and she starts snuggling him.

The people around look and see Saiba's predicament with some whistling and telling them to get a room.

"What's going on here?!" Yuki Yukihira, Saiba's mother, came in and wearing a pure white kimono with a gray sash.

"Hello there." Senzaemon introduces himself, "You must be Saiba's mother. My name is Senzaemon Nakiri, director of Totsuki Culinary Academy."

"Oh." Yuki is caught of guard, "I see. But what brings you here? Is my son in trouble?"

"No, not at all. My granddaughter is here to see your son."

Yuki's left eye twitched while smiling, "Grand...daughter?" She looks over at Hisako.

Hisako shakes her head and right hand telling her no. So she points where she is. Yuki looks over and sees Erina on top of Saiba on the floor in the doorway that leads to the kitchen. Some of Yuki's veins start showing on her forehead with a great fire of anger behind her while still smiling and have her eyes close. Although she did get a good look at Erina's long honey blonde hair, her bust size and figure.

Erina stands up and straighten herself before introduction. "Hello, Mrs. Yukihira." she does a respectful bow, "My name is Erina Nakiri, and it is a pleasure to meet you."

Yuki continues to smile with her eyes shut, "Ah yes, the dog tongue."

Erina now has a red stress mark on her head.

"Ah shit." one of the male soldiers says, "She's gonna go wild again."

"Best to take cover." one of the other soldiers suggests.

One dwarf says, "Good idea."

The others try to stay clear away from those two but Tatsugoro is passed out from his sake and is sleeping at his seat. Same with Altorious with a snot bubble that gets bigger and smaller when he snores. Lia decides to hide with everyone else.

"I'm sorry, but I think there was a miss translation." Erina says while maintaining her smile yet has stress marks on her head. "It is god tongue, not dog tongue."

"Oh I'm speaking correctly." says Yuki, "I heard you're called, The Dog Tongue."

"No, I'm pretty sure you're just ignorant of the Japanese language."

Yuki continues to smile and have her eyes shut while having her own stress mark. "Are you saying I'm an ignorant savage?"

"No, I'm just saying that you need to work on your translation."

Two types of fiery auras can be seen between the two. Red for Yuki and blue for Erina as the verbal cat fight escalate to the point where people can hear angry cat noises right outside the restaurant. Not only that, there are sparks of electricity in the space between the two.

"Just so you know, I don't allow my son to go out with slutty women with blonde hair and big boobs who think their all that."

"I'm sorry, but I love your son and I hope to marry him."

Two more stress marks appear on Yuki's head, "Not until they meet with my approval. All girls have to go through a special screening process to ensure that Saiba has a bright future and to ensure the future of Yuki-Neko. Unlike you, you slutty dog shit."

Saiba taps Senzaemon and Hisako on the shoulders and signal them to get out by pointing his thumb at the door on the other side of the restaurant.

Two more stress marks appear on Erina's head, "Well, you must be a terrible mother for you to not allow your son to date anyone."

The sparks between the two got bigger as the three head out.

Sgt. Tomita says, "Check please!"

"Coming!" Aletta rushes over.

Over at the Yukihira residence just behind the restaurant as Saiba is serving tea for his guests. Senzaemon, Hisako and Lia are sitting at the round dining table as Saiba serves the tea.

"I do apologize for what you saw." Saiba says, "My mother is a bit overly protected of me."

"Yeah, no joke!" Lia says to the offworld visitors, "Let's just say that Saiba's looks gets him into trouble. With his cooking skills, people tried to kidnap him and force him to marriage."

"Oh my god!" Hisako is shocked to hear that, "How often does that happen?!"

"Don't exactly know." Saiba says as he takes his seat, "But I am capable of defending myself, but I don't want to hurt women. Mom says I'm not allowed to."

Hisako thinks about it for a moment, "That may explain some things."

"Anyway, what brings you to the Special Region?"

Senzaemon explains, "To be honest, I was a bit curious about the Special Region and decided to take a trip. But when Erina found out, she begged me to take her to this region. Now I see why."

Lia leans over to Saiba and whispers, "This guy's your principal at that school you go to?"

Saiba whispers back, "Yeah. Why?"

"You two seem awfully friendly towards each other."

"He can be scary, but he's an okay guy."

"If you say so."

Saiba then speaks to Senzaemon, "There is something I would like to know. What can you tell me about someone name, Azami Nakiri?"

Hisako and Senzaemon gotten wide-eyed with Hisako crossing her arms and looks away while being frighten. Yet Senzaemon seems subtlety angry as he has the cup close to his mouth. Saiba seems confused alongside Lia.

Senzaemon put his cup down, "We don't speak of that bastard." and grips the brown tea cup tightly. "Now I see. He's the one who told you about Totsuki Academy, didn't he, and got you enrolled?"

Saiba just do three nods.

"What you saw was just a facade of who he really is. Allow me to explain what Azami did and why we never talk of him."

AN: Hey everyone! Sorry for taking so long with this chapter. Mostly because of work, the bad air quality giving me migraines, the drought we're suffering here in Utah, the heat, making a wiki for another story that will be out in 2022 and many, many, MANY other things. Just so you know, soon I'll be moving to the outskirts of a small town in either Idaho or Wyoming to build my tiny house with solar panels, windmills and, well, trying to be self-sufficient. But right now, things...well... Let's just say that I may have to cut things down. So I'll be working on four stories rather than just six, which will be on temporary hiatus up until...October. Maybe? Anyway, I'm sorry to say that this story and my Pokemon-RWBY story will be on hiatus. Sorry, but I have to cut things down so I won't get stressed out and recharge my batteries. I will make that announcement for From Huntresses to Pokemon Trainers when the next chapter is out just to let the fans on that story know. Sorry guys and I hope you understand.

But I do have some good news, I'm enjoying this show called, SMG4. Basically a bunch of video game videos that Mario is involved in along with some Mario look-a-like. They also made Meta-Runner and Sunset Paradise. I recommend you give them a watch, they're good.
