LAST TIME ON Ooari Goes Private: An hour after the match, Miho was shocked to see Darjeeling, the Churchill, a Matilda and Crusader tank with the Ooari Tanks and asked John what was happening and John told her, "Those tanks are the newest additions to the Ooari Tank team."
Miho was speechless, she just heard John say that Darjeeling, Assam, Orange Pekoe, Rosehip; the tank commander of the Crusader Tank and Rukuriri; the commander of the Matilda Tank, are all the newest Additions to the Ooari Team. Miho looked at Darjeeling who nodded her head, meaning what John said was true and it made her smile. Soon Darjeeling said, in her British tone, "I believe you would like to name our tanks then. Might I suggest that The Churchill be Tortise Team, The Crusader be Cheetah Team, and The Matilda be called Geeko Team."
"Those are good names, let's go with them." Miho said with a smile and the Repainting was underway. That was when Renta walked up to them and said, "YOU! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE! YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO TRANSFER!" John Grabbed Renta's arm and said, "Listen here pal, those girls are free to do what they want. The paperwork was submitted and approved, I was there myself. Those girls and the tanks are now Ooari, that is final. I know what you tried to do during the practice match. Try all the dirty tricks you want, but as long as I am here, no one will shut Ooari down."
Renta got his arm free, grunted, and walked off. John then looked at Miho and said, "Don't worry Miho, we'll show them what we're capable of." Miho smiled as well and nodded her head, saying, "Right." Afterwards, Miho and Darjeeling were enjoying Lunch together as Darjeeling said, "When we were told to use all our tanks to try and destroy your tanks, we began to see the corruption in the Tankery Federation and Ministry of Education, so us joining your private school seemed like the most reasonable choice."
"Yeah. But I'm glad you and the others joined our team, we can use the extra firepower. If what Mr. Bertrand said is true, then the Ministry won't stop until we're destroyed." Miho said as she got a serious look on her face. Darjeeling nodded her head and after drinking her tea, said, "Just know that the Tortoise, Cheetah, and Geeko teams will be there for you." Miho smiled and thanked Darjeeling for that. Darjeeling smiled back and said, "Anything for a friend, Miho."
Later in the day, John received a call from his friend in the government and he told him, "Seems Like Renta wants more money put into the School ships so they can buy more tanks. John chuckled and said, "He's trying to make sure we don't win more. Such a shame that he's in for a disappointment, make sure that the money doesn't go through man." John's friend told him that he would take care of it and they ended the call. That was when he was told about the 64th National Senshado Tournament next year.
The next day, John had Miho, Darjeeling, Anzu, Momo and Yuzu gather and he told them about it. Miho smiled and said, "That's great, it means we can train for it." Darjeeling sipped her tea and said, "Indeed, Not to mention that we now have more tanks we can make better Strategies and move united together more effectively." That was when Anzu said, "We were pretty effective when we only had five tanks the first match." John then said, "But now we have 12... " he then received a call and after he answered it, he said, "Hello? It's here? Great!" After hanging up the phone, John said, "Follow me!" He then led those there outside and showed them a new tank as Yukari was in awe looking at it.
"A M10 Tank Destroyer! The armor ranges from 0.375 to 2.25 in. Optimal Range is 200 miles while the maximum speed is 5–30 miles per hour on a road." Said Yukari all excited. John smiled and said, "and this Tank is for the team. My people are looking hard for tanks for the team. This was their first find. It was just sitting in a garage actually. The automotive club can fix it up. We'll need five people to operate her." That was when five girls walked up and said, "We would like to join the Team."
Miho recognized them as members of the Costume team and said, "Welcome aboard you guys, This is John." the five girls started off left to right, "Anna Nadeshiko and I will be the Tank Commander, Rosa Sulu and I will be the gunner, Holly Sulu and I can be the loader, Hibiki Chibi, I always wanted to drive a Tank so I'll be the driver. My name is Kozue Kukiko and I will be the assistant Driver." Miho smiled and asked her team to help them learn how to pilot the M10.
As practice went on, John and Miho were told about a Mark IV Tank Male in a back room of a bar as a smoking machine. John paid for it to join the team. Miho was confused, but paid it no mind. That was when the M10 Tank Destroyer was fixed up and the team was called Wolverine Team in honor of what the tank's nickname is. As Mark IV Tank Male was brought in to be fixed up, five girls from the Naval Studies Department came to join the team. They were Ogin A.K.A. Silver: The Tank Commander, Rum: The primary Driver of the Tank. Next up was Murakami A.K.A. Valor: she was the starboard gunner and loader of the team.
Then there's Flint, she's the secondary driver and radio operator of the team. Last was Cutlass, she was left with being the port gunner and loader of the team. Miho smiled as John said, "It's great to see our team growing." MIho agreed with him and said , "Yeah, looks like it." That was when Anzu walked up to them and said, "If I did my count correctly, we have 14 tanks total now." John nodded his head and said, "Yeah, just about halfway to the university level teams. We need to find more tanks." That was when Silver said, "If you need more tanks, why not the Panther." She got three confused looks.
After practice, Silver took Anzu, Miho, and John to the woods and found a damaged Panther in the mud. Miho gasped and said, "Wow…" John nodded his head and said, "Indeed, we can get the Automotive Club to pull back to the garage. With this tank we have 15 tanks." Then it came time to go home for the day, John had his girls and their team get in the van he bought and drove them home as the other girls went home to their Living areas as Darjeeling and the other girls from St. Gloriana were given rooms near Miho.
At John's house, he met up with the parents of his daughters's friends. Tomohito and Yukiko Sugino, Karma and Manami Akabane, and Takuya and Surmire Muramatsu. (A.N.: I don't own the names of the people I just mentioned. They are Assassination Classroom characters and are owned by Yūsei Matsui, again, NOT ME) John sent the girls to go do their homework as his wife Toka Yada-Bertrand walked up to him. They shared a kiss as Tomohito said, "We watched the practice match the girls were in, they were great!" John smiled as he said, "I agree, and not to mention that after that match, we gained three tanks as transfers for the tank team, then we got a M10 Tank Destroyer, a British Mark IV Male tank, and a Panther too."
"Fifteen tanks, not bad man." Karma said with a smile. John nodded his head and said, "Yeah. We're looking for more tanks too. If you can help us out with getting tanks for the team Karma, think you can help us." Karma nodded his head and said, "Sure." John nodded his head and said, "If we're going to take on the likes of the University team, we'll need more tanks." Everyone there nodded their heads and promised to look. The next day, John dropped the girls off at the main school before driving to the garage and saw another friend of his.
"Hey Yoshida, how are things coming along?" John said to the Mechanic working on the Panther, Taisei Yoshida. Yoshida Smiled and said, "Things are coming along great, with the stuff here I can repair this panther quickly. But we'll still need five people to man her." John nodded his head and said, "I think I know where to get them." After walking off into the school, John saw the Art club painting a Mural on the wall. John smiled and said, "Hello girls!" when the art club looked behind them, they smiled and bowed before saying, "Thank you for saving the school ship Mr. Bertrand."
"It was nothing, I'm just a fan of Tankery, Hey I have a request for you girls. We're in need of five people to drive a tank, think you girls can do it?" John said with a smile. After School, Miho saw John with five girls and he said, "They'll be the Panther Team. Allow me to do Roll call. First up we have Eguchi Kae; she'll be the Tank's commander. next Akamatsu Maiko; the main gun's gunner. Then there is Kido Junzo, she's the loader. The Driver will be Eto Usami. Finally, we have Nakayama Yukika as the radio-operator/hull machine gunner." Miho smiled and said, "Welcome to the team everyone."
As the days went on, Everyone was teaching the Art club how to drive the Panther when John was approached by a woman in a business suit and long Brown hair. The woman asked, "Are you John Bertrand?" John nodded his head and asked the woman who she was and she said, "I am Shiho Nishizumi, mistress of the Nishizumi-style Sensha-dō and I run Kuromorimine Girls' Academy." John smiled and said, "Ah Miho's mother. Your daughter is an Excellent Sensha-dō commander." Shiho said nothing as she and John watched the Ooari tanks practice.
"You seem to be working hard to make sure this team can win." Shiho said with a neutral look on her face. John nodded his head and said, "Yeah, this team was able to win the 63rd National Senshado Tournament with the promise their school wouldn't get shut down. Then when I heard that they were shutting it down anyway, I figured I'd buy the ship school myself and make it a private Girls academy." Shiho nodded her head and asked, "Why have Miho as the team captain? Why not one of your girls?" John placed his hands on his hips and said, "Cause it was your daughter who led Ooari to win in the 63rd National Senshado Tournament, not my girls."
"Still, I trust she didn't tell her about how she came to be at Ooari?" Shiho said to John. John looked at her and said, "Oh you mean how she left her tank, the flag tank, to rescue her teammates in a sinking Tank. Allowing Pravda was able to win the 62nd National Senshado Tournament, stopping your school's 9 consecutive win streak. I knew about that, I also know you SCOLDED HER FOR THAT! She went to save her Friends!"
"She showed Weakness, she didn't follow the Nishizumi sensha-do tradition." Shiho told John without even changing her expression. John rebutted by saying, "She showed compassion and the willingness to help her friends, she showed that again in the 63rd National Senshado Tournament when the Rabbit team was in danger. Tankery isn't about being strategic or cold calculating. It's about having fun and working together. If you can't see that now after her style of Tankery won against your style, then why are you here?"
Shiho looked at him and said, "We heard that three tanks from St. Gloriana joined this team, such a waste." John got angry when she said that and told her, "Leave… now." Shiho said nothing but she did leave. When Miho saw her mother, she ran up to her and said, "Hello mother." Shiho stopped and turned, glaring at Miho. Miho let that go and asked, "How have you been?" Her mother simply said, "Good." Then she resumed walking off, making Miho sad. Miho was comforted by her friends.
Fast forward to the 64th National Senshado Tournament and the team was ready. Miho picked number 9, which meant they were up against Maginot Girls college. Anzu said, "They lost in the first round of the last one. But they got more tanks, three ARL-44s, 10 Renault FT-17s, more SOMUA S35s, two FCM F1s, and 15 Char B1 Bis." Then Momo said, "My guess is that Renta will tell them to use every tank they have to take us out." After getting the matches sorted, John got contacted by Karma and he told John, "You were right, Renta contacted Maginot Girls Academy and told them to use all their tanks."
"Right, thanks Karma." John said before hanging up. The tournament got underway and Ooari traveled to their destination. Upon arriving, John made sure the girls and the tanks were taken care of when he and Miho were approached by Maginot Girls College's Tankery commander, Éclair. She introduced herself to them and she said, "I have to say, it's an honor to meet last year's champs. Even if they're private now." Miho smiled and shook Éclair's hand and said, "let's have a good match." Éclair nodded her head in agreement.
Before the Match started, Miho told Madoka, "My tank is going to be the flag tank. But I need you to find the Enemy Flag tank and take it out, the rest will cover my tank. Don't let me down Madoka." Madoka smiled and said, " I won't Miho." They then got to their respective tanks and the match began. Madoka had her tank drive off to the side as all of the tanks from Maginot Girls college pushed forward and opened fire, some missing, others not doing a lot of damage. Soon Ooari's tanks returned fire, taking out several light tanks and damaging tracks.
"Hippo team, watch out for the FCM F1 on your right!" Miho said. Hippo Team turned to the right and opened fire at the FCM F1, but got knocked out by two of their Char B1 Bis tanks. That was when Madoka radioed in and said, "Madoka here, we have eyes on the enemy Flag tank, it's a Char B1 Bis, requesting assistance." Miho told Rosehip to go assist her, along with Leopon team. The two tanks met up with Snake team and the three tanks opened fire at once on the enemy flag tank, scoring one direct hit on the turret and making the crew panic and open fire at them.
As Snake team led the chase on the enemy Flag Tank, Éclair showed up in her SOMUA S35 and two more Char B1 Bis tanks. They tried to provide support for the flag Tank, but the Chars were tanked out by Snake team and Leopon Team. Cheetah Team took a shot at Éclair's tank but missed and took a shot to the back and was taken out. Madoka told Leopon team to cover her tank and they did. Kokoro loaded a HE Shell in the barrel and after getting the enemy Flag tank in her sights, Okuma fired a shot and they struck the Enemy Flag Tank and the match was over.
Madoka and her team were celebrating for taking out their second flag tank. Miho and John smiled when Éclair walked up to them and said, "I have to say, your team is very impressive." Miho looked at Éclair and said, "Thank you, your team fought hard against us." Éclair chuckled and said, "Well, I heard you need more tanks, will an ARL-44 help out?" Just then, an ARL-44 rolled up behind her. John and Miho looked at each other before looking back at Éclair and said, "Sure, thanks." Éclair smiled and nodded her head.
John looked over the ARL-44 as five girls walked up to him and one girl with Lavender hair asked, "Are you John, Manager of the Ooari team?" John looked at them and said, "I am, and you are?" The girl introduced herself as Kyoko Kirigiri. Kyoko then said, "This is Aoi Asahina, but she likes to be called Hina. next to her is Sayaka Maizono. Then we have Toko Fukawa and Mukuro Ikusaba. We were wondering if we could join the Tanker team." (A.N.: No I do NOT own the names of the five girls just mentioned. They are owned by Kazutaka Kodaka and Spike Chunsoft™)
John smiled, shook her hand and said, "Welcome to the team Kyoko, Hina, Sayaka, Toko, Mukuro. John then said, "Ironically, this ARL-44 Tank Destroyer needs a crew, wanna man it?" Kyoko and her friends nodded their heads. Kyoko was the Tank Commander, Hina was the gunner, Sayaka was the Radio Operator and driver, Toko was the gunner and Mukuro was the secondary driver. John smiled at the sight of Ooari's tank team getting bigger. Miho smiled and said, "It's amazing how people want to join Tankery now." John agreed and said, "Yeah, it went from 5, to 6, to 8, to 9, to 12, to 16."
Later that night, Miho smiled as she watched Saunders face off against St. Gloriana with her friends. That was when there was a knock on the door and Miho went to answer it. When she opened the door, it was Madoka and Kokoro with their dad. Miho welcomed them into her living quarters and showed them that they were watching the Saunders and St. Gloriana match. John sat down as Madoka was the first to his lap, making her sister pout. John chuckled as he held Kokoro close to him as they watched Kay hit St. Gloriana's flag Tank which was a Crusader and that match was over.
"Looks like we're facing Saunders next in this tournament, Miho." John said with a serious look on his face. Miho nodded her head and said, "Yeah, No doubt they'll be told to use all their tanks like the others were." Now John nodded his head in agreement. Meanwhile, Saunders's Overall Commander of it's Tankery Team, Kay, was at her tank when her Subordinates, Naomi and Alisa, approached her and Naomi said, "Commander, we just received word to man ALL our tanks in the next match, against Ooari."
Kay sighed and said, "It seems they don't want Ooari to be around anymore." Alisa then asked, "What are we gonna do Kay?" Kay smiled and said, "We'll pull a Darjeeling and Join Ooari."
