LAST TIME ON Ooari Goes Private: "That must be why my sister sent us her Tiger 1… they have all those Elefants." Miho said after getting over the shock of seeing those tanks. John looked at Azusa Sawa and asked, "how did you take the Elefant down before?" Azusa told them that they aimed for where they ejected the spent shell casing." John nodded his head and said, "OKay, so that is what you will all do, aim for where they eject the used shells."
Today was the day where Ooari would face off against Kuromorimine Girls' Academy. Miho was nervous at all the Elefant tanks they would be facing against. But with the training they did to prepare for the match, she wasn't too overly nervous. Her team was ready, as were the other teams. All 26 of Ooari's tanks knew the weak spot on the Elefants and with coordinated attack, they could be brought down. John had Yoshida coordinate with the Automobile club to make sure the tanks were all in working order. He even brought his other friend, Itona Horibe, in to help out too.
Knowing Mr. Renta, he would have Kuromorimine field all their tanks, which according to John's sources, was 25 Elefants now. The other tanks were put into storage. Miho was worried that they would lose the match, but John reassured her that they got this. That was when he showed up, Mr. Renta. John talked to Mr. Renta out of ear shot for most of their conversation, but they did hear John say, "Hell no! NO DEAL! Get off our ship!." Mr Renta huffed and walked off the ship. Miho asked John what Me, Renta wanted and John said, "He wanted to place a wager, if we lost I would sell Ooari back to the government. No way, I put too much hard word into this school Ship.
Miho smiled as John showed determination to keep the School ship and she was happy. Everyone fought hard to keep the school, and this match was no different, Kuromorimine Girls' Academy was a tough school, but Ooari Girls Academy wasn't a pushover either. Every match they partook in, they won with their own skills. Miho watched all 26 Ooari tanks get loaded onto a train and they made their way to where the final match of the tournament would be held. Along the way, Miho called the tank commanders together to discuss match plans.
Upon arriving at the match area, Miho saw her sister, Maho Nishizumi, and her mother. Miho walked over to them and said, " Hey Maho, Mother." Miho's mother just stared at her as Maho said, "Hello Miho, good luck." But then their mother said, "Don't wish her luck. She is the enemy." That was when Miho's mother looked at Miho and said, "It'd be best for you to admit defeat now." But Miho shook her head and said, "No, I will not." Their mother glared at Miho and said, "Admit defeat now and I will think about letting you back into the family."
Miho held her stance and said, "We will not." Miho then walked off as tears rolled down her face, not knowing John heard the conversation. Soon the announcer said, "Will the overall tank commander and Sub-Commander of Ooari Girls Academy please come to the judges tent. Again, Will the overall tank commander and Sub-Commander of Ooari Girls Academy please come to the judges tent." Miho, Momo, and even John walked to the judges tent where they saw Ami Chōno, the advisor they met in the Type 10 Hitomaru.
Ami smiled and said, "Welcome you two, Someone wants to meet you." She then pointed at a girl and Miho gasped, it was Koume Akaboshi, one of the girls she saved during the 62nd National Senshado Tournament. Koume hugged Miho and said, "Sorry for this, but I wanted to make sure this was official." Miho asked what she was talking about, and Ami said, "Koume requested that she and the others join Ooari's team." Miho looked at Koume, who pointed behind her.
There stood three girls in front of 4 tanks, a Panzer III, a Tiger II, an Panzerjäger Tiger Ausf. B Jagdtiger, and a Jagdpanzer V Jagdpanther. Miho gasped and said, "Yamagata, Komori, Eto! You're all here and waiting to join?" The first to speak was Yamagata Kata, the Tank commander of the Tiger II Heavy Tank, and she said, "You saved our lives Miho, we wanted to pay you back." Next was the Tank Commander of the Panzerjäger Tiger Ausf. B Jagdtiger Tank Destroyer, Komori Ori, and she said, "Yeah Miho, we felt bad for what happened." Finally, the Tank commander of the Jagdpanzer V Jagdpanther, Eto Tooka, said, "When Mr. Renta made Kuromorimine use Elefants instead, we knew he was trying so hard to make you lose. We want to help you win."
John smiled as Miho shed a tear and said, "Okay, welcome to the team you guys." They all hugged and it was officially declared that the four tanks were now a part of Ooari's tank team. That was when the match was two minutes away and they got back to the team. Miho told them about the new tanks and how they would protect the flag tank, Miho's tank. The enemy Flag tank will be Maho's tank as it was the last time. The bell rang and Miho's team moved forward, as did Maho's team. Maho thought about how cruel her mother was to Miho as Erika commanded the tanks to push forward hard to take out Ooari's tanks.
She thought back to before the match. After Miho left, their mother said, "Make sure you destroy those tanks." Maho gasped and asked, "Mother, she's your daughter." Shiho looked at her and said, "She's weak, no daughter of mine is weak." Maho sighed at her mother, still refusing what Miho did was the right call. She was brought out of her thoughts as a Shot struck Elefant 13 from the front and it was from Ooari's Firefly. Erika ordered all the tanks to fire on the Firefly, but it got out of the line of sight before they could fire at the Firefly. A few seconds later, Elefant 5 was struck from the side by both of Ooari's IS-2 Heavy Tanks.
The Elefants tried to take the IS-2s out, but the two Tanks retreated into the woods to avoid the shots. Soon afterwards Elefant 16 was taken out by Madoka's tank and slipped back into hiding. Erika Growled from Elefant 2 and said, "They're playing games with us!" Maho looked at Erika and said, "Calm down Erika, we will win this match." Soon Rabbit team, Owl Team, and Great White Team flew past them and shot at the Discharge areas for Elefants 9 and 8 before driving off and out of the Elefants firing area.
Maho was getting pissed when she heard Miho say, "Sister, if you want to end this now, just surrender, my team is more agile and can take your tanks out easily. Surrender is your only option." Before Maho could respond, Erika said, "STAY OFF OUR CHANNEL YOU WEAK, PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A TANK COMMANDER!" Soon Erika's Elefant was also taken out. Looking behind her, she and Maho saw Miho and her Panzer IV with it's smoking barrel. As Soon as Maho's Elefant spun around, Miho was already hiding.
"Damn it. She's right, her team will constantly harass us, we need to move to a new location, all tanks forward. Soon Ooari Tanks came out to harass the Elefants as they fell back. This time the Elefants got some of Ooari's tanks; Duck Team, Anteater team, and Geeko Team. Eagle Team tried to get a shot on a shell discharge area, but was taken out by a backing up Elefant. Elefant 25 was taken out by a shot from the firefly, but Naomi was taken out by Maho's elefant. Mallard Team took out Elefant 20, but was taken out by Elfant 10.
John watched as the Elefants were being taken out by Ooari as elefant 3 was taken out by Turtle team. He was saddened that Panther team and Elephant team were taken out by two Elefants, but those elefants 23 and 24 were taken out by Whale team and Mountain Lion team. John cheered as three more Elefants; 6, 11, and 18, were taken out, but was saddened when Turtle, Shark Team, Tortoise team, and Cheetah teams were taken out. Madoka radioed into Miho and said, "We can't keep this up Commander, soon enough we'll have less tanks than them. We need to take your sister out now." Miho sighed and said, "Let's do it. Leopon, Tiger, Rhino, Grizzly Bear, listen up.
Soon enough, Maho was separated from the rest of her team by Leopon, Tiger, Rhino, and Grizzly Bear teams after they took out Elefants 4, 13, and 22. Soon Maho and Miho faced off with Madoka moving behind Maho. Maho told Miho, "I can't let you win, Miho." Miho looked at her sister and asked, "Why? We've won as a private School in every match we partook in." Maho looked down and said, "If we lose… our school will get shut down." Miho gasped before having Saori text John.
After receiving Saori's message, John walked up to Mr Renta and asked, "Did you threaten to close down Kuromorimine if they lost this match?" Mr. Renta looked at John and said, "I have no idea what you mean. They won't lose, especially with the surprise I have planned." John gasped, placed a call and told Miho, "Miho it's a trap!" Just then, Miho's tank was struck from the side and taken out. Soon three Maus Tanks rolled onto the field. Ami gasped and said, "THOSE MAUS TANKS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO BE ON THE FIELD!" John growled and said, "Your surprise?"
Mr. Renta smiled and said, "Last second additions." Back on the field, Maho saw the Maus tanks roll on as she said, "We weren't told about them… ALL ELEFANT TANKS! TARGET THE MAUS TANKS!" Miho's team watched as the Elefants turned on the Maus tanks and they joined in on taking them down. Mr. Renta growled as John chuckled and said, "Seems to me that Kuromorimine wasn't happy with those tanks being put in without their knowledge." Mr. Renta called Shiho and shouted, "WE HAD A DEAL!" But Shiho said, "I didn't think she would do that!"
Madoka and Maho worked together to take out one of the Maus tanks, while the other tanks took the other two out. The Judges decided that since the three Maus Tanks were added after the match started but it was made to look like they were added before hand, so Mr. Renta was forced to resign on the grounds to avoid a Scandal. Ooari was officially declared the winner of the 64th National Senshado Tournament despite Miho's tank being taken out.
Mr. Renta was furious at the result and after he resigned, he tried to get dirt on Ooari to make them seem like they've cheated the entire Tournament, but there was none. Renta was so pissed, he tried to sabotage Ooari but he was caught. Maho sighed as Miho grabbed her and hugged her. Shiho looked at them and said, "Maho, you shouldn't have helped Ooari, we won fair and square." That was when John said, "You knew about those Maus tanks?!" Shiho nodded her head and Maho said, "Those tanks were added after the match started, mother." Shiho crossed her arms and said, "So what? What matters is that we win. Now our defeat last year can't be avenged."
"That's enough mother!" Miho shouted. She then said, "My team won last year fair and square just like this year. You think friendship and Companionship are meaningless in Tankery but that's how my team won two National Senshado Tournaments in a row." Shiho then did the unthinkable, she slapped Miho square on her cheek. John then grabbed her arm and said, "That's enough! No Parent should slap their child." But Shiho looked at John and said, "She stopped being my daughter the moment when…" But John cut her off by saying, "When what?! When she got out of the tank to save her friends?! HOW DARE YOU DISOWN HER FOR THAT?!
Shiho got her arm free and said, "Maho, we're leaving." But Maho said, "No, you're leaving, I'm joining Ooari." Shiho said nothing but walked off. Miho then bursted into tears as Maho held her close, as did her friends and John too. Later, Maho officially declared that she was joining Ooari, as did Erika too. John asked the two sisters if it would be okay for him to adopt them and they said, "Yes." John smiled and hugged them both. Madoka and Kokuro cheered as their Idol was becoming their sister. Life was now good for Ooari.
