Hey guys and Gals. This is my first Fun File series for Assassination Classroom. I hope I do well with these and leave reviews on how I did. I do not own Assassination Classroom.
[Birthday]
One night, John stayed up until past midnight, when the clock struck midnight, he smiled as he pulled out a birthday cupcake and he said, "Happy birthday to me." John then blew out the candle and laid down in bed as he thought about the awesome day he was gonna have tomorrow. When the sun came up, John was already up and making his host family breakfast. When the wife, Naomi Yoshigahara, walked in and said, "Good morning John." John looked at her and said, "Good morning Mrs. Yoshigahara, breakfast?"
Naomi smiled and said, "Sure John, is today a special day?" John nodded his head and said, "Yup, a very special day for me." Naomi then said, "Hm… Oh I think I know what it is. It's the day you got your first Dog." chuckling, John said, "No Mrs. Yoshigahara, it's not that." Naomi made more guesses but each other made John more saddened as he thought she forgot his birthday. John then sighed and said, "Well I better get off to school, later Mrs. Yoshigahara." Naomi smiled and waved goodbye to John as she texted someone. Along the way, John was joined by Toka who kissed his cheek and said, "Hey baby, why the long face?"
John smiled it away and said, "Oh it's nothing baby. Just woke up on the wrong side of the bed I guess." Toka hopped onto his back and said, "Well I hope giving your wonderful girlfriend a piggyback ride to school will help turn your gloomy face around." John chuckled and gave her a piggyback ride to the park. John then said, "Ready to spend the entire day with me baby?" Toka smiled and said, "You know it." The two then kissed as they held each other in their arms. After pulling away, Toka said, "Happy birthday baby." John chuckled and said, "At least someone remembered." Toka hugged John as she took him to his favorite cafe which happened to be where yuma Isogai worked at and he made John a special Cake for his birthday.
As the day went on, John checked his phone and not a single message from his birth parents or the others wishing him a happy birthday, which made him more upset. Toka tried to cheer him up, but John wasn't feeling it, he then got angry and slapped Toka. After realizing what he did, he ran off, leaving a shocked Toka standing there as she pulled her phone out and said, "it's me, john's missing. Postpone the plans and help me find him."
John sat down in the park and looked at the ground when an old man joined him and asked, "Why so gloomy?" John, still looking at the ground, said, "a lot of people forgot my birthday was today, my host family, my actual family, my friends. Sigh The only people who didn't forget were my girlfriend and my one friend named Yuma." the old man sighed before he said, "Sometimes people forget things. But they do forget things accidentally, I'm sure that they didn't mean to forget." John leaned back and said, "I guess you're right, but in my sadness I got angry and… I slapped my girlfriend."
"I see, and you're worried that she might dump you because of that, yes?" the old man asked John who nodded his head in response. The old man then said, "I'm sure she knows you didn't mean to slap her. Forgiveness is in all of us. Does she truly love you?" John nodded his head as he said, "Of course, and I love her with all my heart." That was when the old man said, "Then she will forgive you for what you did if you apologize. Wait right here." The old man then got up and walked over to a Hot dog stand. He then returned to John with two hot dogs. Handing John one of the dogs, the old man said, "Happy birthday from me."
John took the Hot dog and bit into it, smiling. He then said, "Thank you." The old man smiled and said, "Think nothing of it, happy to help out someone in need." after finishing his Hot Dog, John said goodbye to the old man and walked to the beach where he ran into Toka. John hugged her tightly and said, "I'm so sorry baby! I didn't mean to slap you!." Toka rubbed his back as she said, "It's okay baby, it's okay. I know you didn't mean it." John smiled and kissed Toka with all his might as he held her in his arms
Later that day, John and Toka returned to John's host family's house and as he opened the door and turned on the lights, he was greeted with a great big, "SURPRISE!" John was in awe, it was his classmates and his family from the states standing in front of him as they shouted, "Happy birthday John!" John smiled at the sight. Meg kataoka then put a party hat on his head, hugged him as she said, "Did you think we would all forget your birthday." John chuckled as he hugged her back and said, "To be honest, I thought you all did except for Toka and Yuma."
"You silly boy, we would never forget it." Said Naomi as she kissed John's cheek. Then Rio Nakamura said, "We've been planning this for a while man." after Rio was Hinata Okano and she said, "Yeah, we've had to be super secretive for weeks now so you wouldn't catch on." that was when Tomohito Sugino said, "You actually almost caught us a few times with things." John then realized that 3 weeks ago, he saw them with balloons and goodie bags. John chuckled and said, "So that's what the balloons and Goodie bags were for, this." Sugino nodded his head as Nagisa said, "Not to mention the time you caught us making that cake."
"You told me it was for a Trap you all were doing for Korosensei, when it was really for my birthday party." John said with a tear in his eye. Nagisa nodded his head as John's mom and dad hugged him. As the party went on, John and his friends played video games on his new PlayStation 5 he got, played party games and enjoyed Cake. Afterwards, John's parents showed his friends baby photos of him and it made him blush but he saw a familiar face. John then asked his mom, "Can you go back one mom?"
His mother does and when John got a good look at the picture, he was shocked. In the picture was the old man and he was holding a baby in his arms. John looked at his mother and he asked, "Who is that?" his mom shed a single tear and said, "That was your grandfather, he died when you were very young, a few days after that picture was taken, actually." John shook his head and said, "That can't be… I saw him a while ago in the park." That made his parents confused, but John was certain. All the while, the old man watched from across the street with wings on his back. He smiled and flew into heaven.
