I hope you have all had a great week! I am posting this weeks chapter a day early and because I am not sure if I will have time next week I am posting that chapter also. If I end up having time the extra chapter will just be a bonus :)

Chapter 17

Marinette woke up with a jolt startling Luka from his sleep. He looked around and saw her sitting up gasping for air. He immediately started rubbing circles on her back, talking softly. She relaxed immediately.

"Sorry" she said softly a few minutes later

"Bad dream?" he asked, pulling her against his chest as he laid down.

"Yeah" Marinette said yawning

"I love you darling"

"I love you too, rock star," Marinette said, slipping into sleep. Luka smiled, pulling her closer as he fell back asleep.

They were both woken up in the morning by Juleka dumping ice water on them. They both fell off the bed at the shock of it.

"Sorry love birds but it is time to get up before you're late" Juleka smirked. Marinette grabbed a pillow and threw it at her. Juleka laughed as the pillow completely missed. She turned around heading out the door. Marinette and Luka could hear her laughing. With a groan Marinette got up off the floor and stretched. Luka watched her stretch for a minute groaning as he himself got up. They dressed and were out the door fifteen minutes later.

Luka smiled when they got to the school and saw Liza and Ace waiting anxiously. Liz was nearly bouncing where she stood. Marinette took her time getting off the bike when they parked. Liza nearly tackled her when she finally got off and was standing beside the bike.

"You are the most amazing, wonderful, amazing best friend in the entire universe!" Liza squealed, tackling Marinette in a hug. Marinette giggles hugging the girl back.

"I take it Ally called" Marinette smiled

"Yes I signed the contract yesterday" Liza exclaimed excited, "do you realize how much money you are paying me"

"No but I have been told it is to much" Marinette smiled

"Like way to much," Liza said hugging Marinette again, "I will be able to not only get caught up on school loans but actually have money to shop"

"Good," Marinette smiled, "so did Ally give you any ideas of who you'll be working with yet"

"Not yet," she said, "we have another meeting scheduled next week. I am so excited"

"Good," Marinette smiled, "so do you want to hear who you're working with?"

"Yes"

"Chloe Bourgeois and Juleka,"

"No way!" Liza said, jumping up and down excitedly.

Ace and Luka watched the exchange from the sidelines, smiling at the girl's excitement and energy. Luka watched Marinette smile. Her whole face lit up and he could hear the energy in her melody. Ace hitting him snapped him from his thoughts.

"I didn't know your sister modeled" Ace said

"Juleka is modeling?" Luka asked in surprise, "that's great it has always been a dream of hers"

"Really with how shy she is?" Ace asked

"She has really started coming out of her shell since she befriended Marinette and Rose" Luka said

"True" Ace smiled, "your girlfriend is pretty remarkable"

"Yeah she is," Luka smiled, turning to look at Marinette. He watched her and Liza laughing and talking. He suddenly realized what shirt she was wearing and groaned.

"What was that about," Ace laughed

"I just realized why my sister was smirking us when we left this morning" Luka said

"Why?"

"Marinette is wearing my shirt" Luka smiled, "one out of my closet"

Ace burst out laughing causing the girls to look over at them. Marinette glanced up her eyes dancing with laughter. Luka smiled walking towards them. He leaned down to kiss her.

"You really like stealing my shirts don't you darling" he said softly causing her to blush.

"Damn straight I do," Marinette grinned, "why does it bother you?"

"Yes yes it does," Luka groaned, "it is way to sexy when you wear my shirt"

"Oh really" Marinette grinned, "well maybe after we get home tonight you'll have to steal it back"

"And if I want to steal it back now?" He teased

"Well we would just have to skip school because I am only wearing a bra under it" Marinette whispered teasing him.

"Darling are you trying to kill me?" he hissed, pulling her against him. She giggled and kissed his cheek. The bell rang interrupting the moment.

"Come on Darling let's get to class before I change my mind and take you home instead" he groaned. Marinette giggled, grabbing his hand. Liza and Ace were next to them in an instant, their hands intertwined. The four of them talked a bit as they walked into the school and headed for the classroom. Just as they were walking in, Marinette's phone rang.

"I have to take this, will you let the teacher know I will be there in a few minutes?" Marinette asked. Luka kissed her cheek and walked in.

"Hey Ally what's up"

"Listen I am sorry to bother you but I thought I should warn you that Gabriel Agretse has requested a meeting"

"Really did he say why"

"It was his assistant that called. I said I would call later to set something up"

"Okay wait until tomorrow morning to call back and schedule it for Thursday at 4" Marinette said, " I believe Jordan and I will both be free then. Also get a hold of Rae and let her know that if she is able I want her there too. United front and all that"

"Okay I will let you know tomorrow" Ally said, "also the production floor is ready and operational. Do you want me to start interviewing?"

"Yes," Marinette smiled, "and also work on getting models, make-up, and hair people lined up. We should be opening in 3 weeks and I am hoping we can still make it"

"Already started" Ally smiled, "I also have begun interviewing for personal attendants and tech staff. How did we want to do the background music for the show?"

"Let's try something similar to New York"

"Okay," Ally smiled, " I will get right on that. Have a good day at school"

"Okay bye," Marinette said, hanging up. She slipped into the classroom silently and took her seat. The teacher glanced up and smiled as the lesson continued. Marinette quietly got her stuff out and started taking notes. As soon as class let out she was asked to stay behind a minute. Marinette waved Luka off telling to head to his own class and assuring him she would see him after that class. He nodded, kissing her cheek before walking out.

"Yes Mr. Bronte?" Marinette smiled approaching his desk

"Thanks for staying back I wanted a moment to discuss your assignment from last week" he said

"Was something wrong?"

"Absolutely not," he smiled, "in fact quite the opposite it was extremely well done. I just wanted to inform you that it was one of the best ones in this class and assure you if you need to step out for any reason to do so"

"Thank you so much Mr. Bronte I appreciate the feedback"

"Of course now you should get to your next class" he smiled

"Thanks again see you tomorrow" Marinette smiled as she headed to the door. Luka was waiting for her. She smiled and hurried over.

"Is everything okay?" He asked

"Just fine," Marinette smiled, " he just wanted to compliment my work from last week"

"That's good," Luka smiled, leaning down to capture her lips with his. When they pulled apart she was breathless and he was smirking. She laughed, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before taking off for her class. He watched her go with a smile as he headed to his next class. They made it just before the next bell rang.

The next two classes passed in a hurry and the couple headed to meet up with their friends outside. Luka grabbed her around the waist and scooped her into his arms carrying her to the table. He sat down keeping her in his lap. She giggled happily.

"So what are you two love birds doing after school?" Ace asked

"Meeting up with Ro and Chloe" Marinette smiled, "apparently we going ice skating"

"We are?" Luka asked

"It was either ice skating or shopping" Marinette shrugged, "I have no intention of ever going shopping with Chloe ever again. That girl is terrifying when she shops"

"I can only imagine," Luka laughed. Marinette playfully hit him before snuggling against his chest with a smile.

"God you two are sickly sweet" A voice said behind them.
