Chapter 20

"We are late" Luka laughed

"We should probably go before they call again" Marinette smiled, "resume this later?"

"Of course darling" Luka laughed, "you should probably drive"

"Okay let's go" Marinette smiled untangling herself from him. He smiled, taking her hand as they headed to his bike. They made it to the ice rink in ten minutes. Jordan and Chloe were waiting outside. Jordan's eyes widened in surprise when he saw that Marinette was driving. Chloe's jaw dropped.

"Sorry we are late" Marinette smiled

"You can drive a motorcycle?" Chloe asked

"Yes" Marinette smiled

"Since when?" Chloe asked

"Like over a year now," Marinette smiled, climbing off the bike.

"Luka I am shocked man," Jordan teased, "you let her drive"

"Damn straight I did means I get to have my arms wrapped around her" Luka smirked

"Shall we go in and get on the ice?" Marinette asked. Chloe laughed, threading her arm through Marinette's and pulling her inside. They giggled as the boys stood there in surprise. The girls put on their skates and were on ice before the boys had even walked in.

"Hey umm Marinette," Chloe said nervously, "I just wanted to say I am sorry about the whole revealing everyone and well thank you for giving me another chance"

"I am sorry to Chloe. I should have explained that it was to dangerous," Marinette said, "and thank you for giving me and giving Ladybug another chance to"

"Okay enough mushy," Chloe laughed, "tell me how Luka happened"

"You know how long I have liked him. I ran into him my first day out and about. We got coffee. I realized I still liked him." Marinette smiled

"I know all that how did he ask you out" Chloe glared

"Alright alright," Marinette laughed, "we were getting ready to watch a movie with Juleka and Rose. We were teasing Rose that the only reason she wanted to watch a scary movie was for the jump scares that always end with her on top of Juleka. Rose says I am sure Luka wouldn't mind a lap full of you. So I said all he has to do is ask. He was stuttering and cussing in embarrassment and I sat down next to him. He grabbed me and dropped me on his lap and asked me to date him"

"Oh my god that is adorable," Chloe laughed

"What's adorable?" Jordan asked as he and Luka skated up to them.

"Luka" Chloe said smiling

"Why is he adorable?" Jordan asked

"He asked Marinette out,"

"And that makes him adorable?" Jordan asked

"Yes" Marinette and Chloe smiled

"Chloe, you want to come skate with me?" Jordan asked

"Go with him, have fun I am going to grab Luka for a spin," Marinette smiled, shooing Chloe in Jordan's direction. Chloe smiled watching Marinette grab Luka's hand and pull him away. She watched as Luka pulled her closer, twirling her on the ice.

"They look good together don't they?" Jordan smiled, wrapping his arms around Chloe.

"You know with how close her and Adrien are I always assumed it would be them together," she said

"It's funny everyone one of her friends has said that but I thought it was obvious the first time I met Adrien that they would never work. Marinette has a creative soul. She loves quiet moments and just being with her friends. Adrien, he never stops moving. He feels trapped sitting still. Luka though, he craves adventure, but he needs the same quiet moments Marinette does. The two of them are creative souls. I like Adrien and he is a good friend for Marinette but a relationship between them would quickly fizzle," Jordan said

"I guess I never thought of it that way," Chloe said as she watched them

"Do you think we fit well together?" Chloe asked

"I know we do" he smiled, "I love you Chloe Bourgeois with all of my heart and I swear I will make you my wife someday"

"Jordan!" Chloe smiled wiping tears from her eyes, "I love you to you crazy hyperactive puppy"

"Everything okay" Marinette asked skating over

"Happy tears I promise," Chloe smiled

"Okay," Marinette said, going back to Luka and skating around him, daring him to catch her. She raced off and Luka took off after her. Chloe and Jordan watched them for several minutes until Luka finally caught her. She was giggling and laughing so hard they could hear it across the rink. Chloe smiled at Jordan and raced towards Marinette. She grabbed her by the arm pulling her away. Luka laughed as the girls skated away, their arms linked together talking away. Jordan skated up to Luka and with a nod the two moved to the side to watch.

"Our girls are amazing," Jordan smiled

"They are," Luka agreed

"We are lucky bastards aren't we?" Jordan said. Luka looked up in surprise.

"Did you and Adrien plan this or something?" Luka laughed, "because he and I had the same talk a few days ago"

"Seriously," Jordan laughed

"Yep," Luka smiled

"Hey I am glad the two of you worked things out. We give her a lot of shit but she really does care about you. I am really happy for you"

"I am happy for you to," Luka smiled, "Chloe seems happier and I am glad you were all willing to come here"

"Yeah me too," Jordan smiled, "you know when I met Marinette she was this meek eager to please, girl. But she talked endlessly about this guy she wanted to impress. She never changed who she was, just highlighted the characteristics she wanted to improve. You see how confident she is now. It is great to see and I am proud of her for all the work she did. Do you know why she did it though?"

"Are you saying she did it for me?" Luka said

"Not really," Jordan smiled, "she did it for herself. But we know part of it was because she wanted to be the best her...for you. She loves you. It was obvious the first time she talked about you."

"I told her today I am going to marry her one day," Luka said, "I bought a ring"

"Really," Jordan said, "you'll have to show me sometime."

They watched the girls talking and giggling as they chatted.

"So did Marinette purposely dye her hair to match mine?"

"Absolutely she did this time," Jordan smirked, "the first time she dyed it pink"

"I am gonna need to see the pictures," Luka smiled

"Yes you do it was adorable," Jordan smiled

"What was adorable?" Marinette asked as she and Chloe skated over.

"Your pink hair" Jordan grinned

"Why are you guys talking about my pink hair?" Marinette asked

"That's a great question," Jordan said seeing the look in Marinette's eyes, "Luka asked about the hair color and I just mentioned that you had started with pink"

"Okay," Marinette smiled. "So are you guys going to come skate or sit around talking all day?"

"I don't know Marinette I think I might just steal your man" Jordan teased

"Oh really does that mean I get to keep your girlfriend" Marinette laughed

"On Second thought you can have Luka Chloe is all mine" Jordan said, wrapping his arms around Chloe and skating off with her. Marinette giggled, looping her arm with Luka's. He smiled at her.

"Darling no offense I love your friends but how long do we need to stay?" He asked

"Half hour tops" Marinette smiled, "I have a plan"

"You have a plan?" Luka laughed

"Yup however right now I want you to kiss me" Marinette smiled

"I think that can be arranged," he smiled, kissing her.

"Hey you two keep it PG" Jordan shouted across the ice rink. Marinette pressed her face into his chest laughing. Luka chuckled. Marinette looked up with a smile. He grinned, pulling her towards Jordan and Chloe. They smiled, reaching the other couple. The four of them spent another hour skating.

"Okay we love you two but I have homework and Luka is cooking tonight" Marinette smiled, "we should do this again soon"

"Ice skating or hanging out" Jordan asked,

"Both" Marinette smiled, giving him a quick hug. She tackled Chloe in a hug before they left. They switched back into their shoes and headed out the door.
