Sorry about the total disappearing act. Things have been a bit crazy. I am really sorry I only have this one chapter done and ready to post but I hope you enjoy it and hopefully I can get the next chapter written this week. Anyway I love you all and I hope you are all doing great.

Chapter 23

The two women glanced at each other as they quickly moved the girl into a car trunk. They smirked as they drove away not realizing that someone had seen them. Chat Noir called the team as he followed the car from the rooftops. He debated calling Luka..but finally dialed his number.

"Hey Adrien whats up" Luka asked

"Where are you?"

"In the bakery getting ready to head home with Marinette, why?"

"Someone just grabbed Marinette from your bike," he said, "I wasn't close enough to stop it but I am in pursuit now,"

"Where are you, I will catch up" Luka said dashing back upstairs to the apartment. Adrien told him before telling him to use the tracker on his lyre and hanging up. Luka transformed and followed Adrien's directions. He was following behind seconds later. He was still several minutes behind Chat and the other heroes but he knew he would catch up. He kept dashing across rooftops following the tracker on the lyre. He noticed a pattern and froze in surprise while dialing Chat's communicator.

"Chat" Luka said as soon as he picked up, "I think I know where they are going I am going to try to intercept them,"

"Okay you go ahead and do that I will keep following," Chat said, "the others are still several minutes out"

"Call Juleka and Rose and tell them to head towards the Liberty,"

"Okay" Chat said hanging up and making the call

Chat called the girls and passed on the message. Juleka immediately knew what Luka was thinking. She filled Rose in while they waited for Luka and the others to arrive. Jordan in his miraculous form dropped down from a building across the street and ran towards them.

"Chloe and the others are on their way," he said, panting, "what's the plan?"

"The plan is to save Marinette before they hurt her," Luka said dropping down as Viperion, "They are more then likely taking her to Becca's aunt's boat down a ways,"

"How do we get them away?"

"Very carefully," Luka smirked, "Juleka, call Roger, tell him that Becca is at her aunt's place. Jordan, Adrien, Chloe be ready to follow Roger onto the boat"

"What are you going to do?"

"Sit on the deck and wait," Luka smirked, "Becca isn't allowed near her aunt's place,"

"Umm why not?"

"Restraining Order," Luka grinned, "she is not allowed within 500 feet of the liberty or within 100ft of me unless its school related"

"Right" Rose said rolling her eyes

"Roger will arrive in about 20 minutes," Adrien said

"Okay here's the plan," Luka grinned, "Chat, Pinellas, Ryuko, and Swift you four will explain you followed her after witnessing the kidnapping, Queen Bee, Tigresse you will stay here with me stating that you brought me here after my girlfriend was kidnapped. We will be sitting on the deck waiting for news. We can say you gave me a description and that I identified her before we called the police"

"Good plan," Jordan smirked as they separated. Luka dropped his transformation after making sure he wouldn't be seen. He sat on the deck before jumping up and pacing. Queen Bee and Tigresse kept watch, taking turns appearing to comfort him.

Meanwhile

Marinette blinked at the brightness in the room. Her head was pounding and she closed her eyes as a wave of dizziness came over her. She heard giggling and forced the nausea back and opened her eyes. She blinked back tears from the pain as she tried to move. It was very quickly clear she was tied to a chair.

She took a breath and relaxed so she could assess the situation. Her arms were tied behind the chair. Her left shoulder had been dislocated and judging from the matted dampness she felt on the back of her head she probably had a concussion or at least a head wound. Her feet were tied to the legs of the chair but she was still fully clothed. So that was a good sign. She noted she could smell the seine and the movement of the room suggested that she was on a boat.

"Oh look, the princess is awake," a vaguely familiar voice taunted. Marinette slowly glanced around and her eyes landed on Becca.

"What the hell" she groaned as another person stepped into her line of sight. She groaned in realization when she recognized a former model she had worked with, Rachel.

"You've been a very naughty girl trying to steal what doesn't belong to you"

"Rockstar you and I are going to have a long talk about your crazy ex," Marinette muttered under her breath before confronting the two women, "seriously girls thats what this is about"

"Shut up," Rachel said, glaring at her.

"So how long have I been here?"

"Long enough," Becca smirked, before they heard the sirens. "Well shit"

"How about you untie me and we pretend this never happened" Marinette said before Rachel slapped her. Marinette yelped in shock and Rachel took advantage of it to shove a gag in.

Marinette winced at the pressure but didn't try to fight. She heard familiar voices and schooled her expression. She heard the two women fleeing and waited to be found. She grinned when she saw the familiar face of Chat pouncing into the room.

"We got you," he said, pulling the gag out.

"Becca and Rachel," Marinette said

"I know," Chat said "sorry I didn't get to you in time to stop them,"

"Luka,"

"Waiting on the Liberty for you" he said untying her

"Hospital," she groaned

"You need to go to the hospital?" He asked

"Yes," Marinette groaned as the dizziness and nausea came back, "dislocated left shoulder, head wound, and drugged"

"Alright," he said, gently picking her up and carrying her upstairs and off the boat.

"Thank you" she whispered as she started to black out again. She heard his panicked voice before everything faded away.

Several hours later Luka sat next to her holding her hand and waiting for her to wake up. When she started to stir he held her hand tighter. She moaned as she started to wake up. He sighed in relief as she opened her eyes.

"Hey Darling," he smiled

"Hey Rockstar," she said squeezing his hand

"You okay? Are you hurting?" he asked

"I am okay" Marinette smiled, "a little sore but it's bearable at the moment"

"Are you sure?"

"Relax Rockstar, I am okay," Marinette smiled, pulling him closer. He gently kissed her. She giggled scooting over on the bed so he could lay next to her. He smiled gently moving close to her.

"The doctor should be coming in soon to check on you," he warned

"How long was I out?"

"6 hours or so" he said, "at least that is how long you have been here"

"Right," Marinette groaned, "can you call the school and let them know I won't be there tomorrow"

"Already done darling," he smiled kissing her hand

"Thanks Rockstar" she smiled leaning over to kiss him. A knock at the door interrupted. The doctor smiled as he walked in.

"Good to see you awake Miss Cheng," he smiled, "how are you feeling?"

"A little sore," Marinette said, "but it's bearable at the moment"

"Good," he said, "are you up for some other visitors? Officer Raincomprix would like to get your statement"

"That's fine" she smiled

"Okay I will send him in" the doctor smiled, "however first let's talk"

"Sure"

"Great" he smiled, "considering circumstances your injuries are fairly minor. We fixed the dislocated shoulder and you were very fortunate the head injury was mild. If you feel any dizziness or nausea let us know though okay?"

"Of course"

"Good," he smiled, "beyond that the sedative they used should be out of your system and the cuts and bruises should heal just fine. I am going to recommend a sling for the shoulder for a few weeks and some rest and relaxation"

"I can absolutely do that" she smiled, "as long as it doesn't ruin our weekend plans"

"Exciting plans huh?" the doctor smiled

"Romantic weekend getaway" Marinette smiled

"Well take it easy and you should be just fine" the doctor smiled "any questions?"

"When do I get to leave?" Marinette smiled

"Tomorrow afternoon" he chuckled, "Okay I am going to send Officer Raincomprix in"

"Okay" Marinette smiled. He left the room after making a note in her file. A few minutes later Officer Raincomprix knocked and walked in.

"Hello Marinette," he said, "I need to talk to you about what happened,"

"Of course come in," Marinette said. He pulled a chair up and pulled out a notepad.

"Okay just tell me what happened" he said

"Luka and I had just finished working on our projects with our partners. I was working with Adam Dulce and Luka was working with Becca. I dropped some things they forgot off at the bakery counter and headed outside to Luka's bike. I put our school bags into the bike's hold and had just locked it when I heard a noise. I didn't see who it was at that time because they came up behind me and covered my mouth. Then I felt a pinch in my arm. When I woke up I was tied to a chair. I am pretty sure it was on a boat. Becca and Rachel were there. Rachel accused me of stealing something from her and hit me. Becca seemed a bit freaked out. I heard voices and sirens and they left the room. Chat Noir untied me and I asked about Luka. I started getting really dizzy and told him to take me to the hospital. Then I woke up here"

"Okay thank you Marinette," he smiled, "that should be all I need"

"Okay,"

"Okay you take care of yourself Marinette" he said walking out the door.

Marinette snuggled up to Luka laying her head on his shoulder falling asleep. He smiled at her, happy she was safe in his arms. He leaned back, falling asleep. That was how Adrien and Kagami found them a few hours later when they stopped in. Adrien smiled motioning her to be quiet as he snuck a picture and they left.
