Ulrich362: True, it'll be interesting... though I don't think Leo's happy about that. Let's find out what happens, enjoy the chapter.

'She's not used to this, I'll finish the duel fast so she can get back on her own two feet.' Yusei thought reading ahead of her.

Yusei frowned seeing that.
"And now Pandaborg attack his face-down!" Pandaborg charged an attack to Yusei's face-down.
The monster was revealed to be a hedgehog with bolts on its back before shattering.

"Wait how did his warrior get stronger?" Gakuto asked noticing that.
"It's because of Junk Warrior's ability, when Yusei Synchro Summons him he gains the attack points of every level two or lower monster on Yusei's field." Leo answered. "He showed Luna and me the card before the tournament."
Junk Warrior charges at Speedy Performer which Romin grinned, "This ain't the end of my performance just yet! I activate Sword & Shield!"

"What?" Yusei questioned seeing that.

"Tough enough to even beat a cheater." Luke added remembering Arata.
"I should have expected you had something planned." Yusei admitted. "I'll end my turn which means your trap's effect wears off."

"I got more spunk here then anyone." Romin said before closing her eyes opening them showing she has red eyes again.
Seeing this Gakuto gulped, "Now this is gonna be intense."
"What do you mean?" Leo asked turning to him.
"Whenever Romin gets red eyes she starts dueling... aggressive." Yuga answered.
Romin drew, "Draw!"

She looked at what she drawn. Yusei looked on calmly.
"Alright, I'll sacrifice Pandaborg to summon Romic'n'Roller!"
Pandaborg vanished allowing a woman to rose up.

"She summoned her ace as a Tuner?" Leo asked in awe.
Romin then sounded off her guitar with Prima Guitarna, "Prima Guitarna's ability activates! I pay 1000 Life Points to give all my monsters 300 points equal to every monster on your field!" (Romin: 0200/Hand: 1/Speed Counters: 4)

Yusei frowned at that. 'She's good.'
"Battle!" Romin called, "Prima Guitarna attack Junk Warrior!"
Prima Guitarna readied herself firing large song notes against Yusei's Synchro.
"I play a trap card, Synchro Strike!" Yusei called. "This trap gives one Synchro Monster 500 attack points for every monster I used to summon it until the end of this turn, and with two that's an extra 1000 attack points."

Junk Warrior retaliated striking Prima Guitarna but Rainbow Life healed Romin. (Romin: 0800/Hand: 0/Speed Counter: 4)
Romin grinned, "That's right but thanks to Rainbow Life, I instead gain Life Points instead of taking damage! Psychic Tuning's effect deals me damage equal to Prima Guitarna's level times 400! Prima Guitarna's level is 7, so I gain 2800 Life Points!"
She was healed immensely at this. (Romin: 3600/Hand: 0/Speed Counters: 4)
Yusei frowned at that. "Great, that complicates things."
"Pretty typical of Psychic Decks." Gakuto admitted seeing this, "Which is why things like Rainbow Life greatly covers their Life Points weakness."
"She's strong." Leo admitted.
Romin continued, "Alright Peace Holder, Rock'n'Roller attack Shield Warrior, and Speed Warrior!"
The two charged in at the two warriors.
Shield Warrior shattered but his ghost appeared protecting Speed Warrior.
"Not bad Romin, but by banishing Shield Warrior your attack can't destroy Speed Warrior this turn." Yusei revealed.
Romin nodded, "That's my turn."

"Huh? Why does he have a robot hand...?" Luke asked seeing this.
"I activate Armory Arm's ability, I can equip it to Junk Warrior to increase his attack points by 1000!" Yusei called as Armory Arm attached itself to Junk Warrior.
Junk Warrior: (ATK: 3200 + 1000 = 4200/Equipped with Armory Arm)

"4200?" Romin asked shocked.
"Now, attack Rock'n'Roller!"
Junk Warrior charged in punching Rock'n'Roller while Romin stayed balanced on her Board. (Romin: 1100/Hand: 0/Speed Counters: 5 - 2 = 3)
Romin shakes her head before saying, "Not bad... But this performance is far from over!"
"Actually, that was your finale Romin, Armory Arm's ability activates." Yusei told her. "When the equipped monsters destroys one of your monsters in battle you take damage equal to your monster's attack points in the graveyard."
"What?" Romin asked shocked.
Junk Warrior charged a blast with Armory Arm firing it at Romin who stared bracing herself with blocking with a cry being hit.

"And with that ladies, and gentleman Yusei had prevailed over our little guitar psychic inspiration, and now going in the finals against Jack Atlas for one final showdown!" the MC declared as Romin's Duel Board slowed down stopping allowing her to step off breathing on all fours.
Yusei rode up next to her before offering a hand. "Are you alright?"
Romin looked up before taking his hand allowing him to softly pulled her up to her feet as she looked up to him, "That... was intense... First the acceleration like that, and then seeing that loss coming at me like that... Does that happen often?"
"Yeah, you get used to it after a while." Yusei mentioned. "Come on, I'll walk you back to the others."
Romin nodded walking back with Yusei to them before saying to Yuga, "Sorry that your Deck, and Road that you made for me didn't win."
"That's alright. The least we know it didn't short out this time." Yuga assured with a grinning chuckle.
"Honestly, second place in a tournament is really good." Luke smiled.
"Yes, and truly deserving of your own skills." Gakuto smiled to Romin who smiled back.
She turned to Luna, and Leo, "What did you two think?"
Luna was smiling. "You did great."
Leo however just gave a small nod.
"Is something wrong?" Luke asked Leo seeing that.
"No, nothing's wrong." he replied. "Romin did a great job like Luna said."
Romin turned to Yusei saying, "Oh, these are my friends back home. This is Gakuto Sogetsu, our Student Council President." Gakuto gave a nod, "Next is Tatsuhisa Kamijo. We call him Luke for short, and he is a very strong duelist." Luke grinned to Yusei giving the peace sign, "And finally this is Yuga Ohdo, the creator of Rush Duels, and the one that brought me here." Yuga waved with a grin to Yusei.
"It's a pleasure to meet you three." Yusei smiled.
"Romin was a tough gal to beat." Luke said to Yusei, "So congrats."
"She's strong, if it was a Standing Duel I probably would have lost." Yusei admitted.
"Well for now, I'm gonna try to get Rush Duels here somehow." Yuga said crossing his arms, "There's no Goha Corp here so it'll be tricky."
"If anyone can pull it off it would be you." Romin smiled.
Yuga grinned at this as Yusei notices Jack waiting by the starting line.

bopdog111: It still gave Yusei effort to beat her.
Ulrich362: True, a little more experience and she might beat him. Of course the next duel is going to be pretty intense, see you in the next chapter.
