Reks started glowing Crimson as the signers opened their eyes seeing Reks glowing with their marks on his back before he slowly rose up.
"What now?" Jack questioned.
Everyone else was stunned from what their seeing before Reks' deck started unloading showing the Timelords before showing in crimson energy started to evolve. Everyone looked shocked except Luna who was looking away from him. Soon they shuffled back to Reks Deck who lowered back down before he opened his eyes after the glow died down.
"Reks... are you ok?" Leo asked hesitantly.
"More importantly, we need to get to Dharak before Carly and the others get hurt." Jack pointed out.
He looked around before he asked, "What happened... I felt like I'm good as new."
"We can explain on the way, the others need our help." Crow pointed out quickly.
"Found ya Birdbrain."
Hearing that everyone looked at the doorway seeing Stoica, and Airzel were there where Stoica has chuckling evily with a smirk.
"You!" Crow cried in shock seeing him.
Yusei frowned. "Jack, leave this to me and Crow. Make sure Kalin and the others are safe."
Just then they see Reks stepping forward in front of them looking at the Signers before turning back to the two with a soft glare saying, "You both are after me so, I deal with you two."
"You have grown a backbone it seems." Stoica smirked hearing that before saying, "Fine, I was gonna handle Birdbrain but hey his majesty seemed a bit pissed lately. No point making him madder then he is now by taking my time."
"But it would also mean you won't come quietly young man. Don't make this harder on yourself." Airzel told Reks seriously.
"It's already hard on me now. Just fight me, leave the Signers out of this." Reks told them simply.
Stoica grinned to Airzel, "What ya think Airzel? This could be a great warmup." He then grinned to the boy in front of him, "It should be easy since his majesty shown us how his Deck works."
"Hey, just leave these two to us Reks." Crow told him. "We already took these clowns down once so doing it again won't be a problem."
"I won't move Crow. I'm done watching people get hurt when I could've protected them. Now I'm gonna take responsibility." Reks told him without turning before adding, "Plus... I want to right the wrongs I have with Luna."
Hearing that Crow sighed but nodded stepping back.
"This should be easy." Airzel said with a glare as they went outside ready to begin.
"Signers!" The six turned over seeing Sherry, and Nurzak were heading over with them, "Is everyone okay?"
"Sherry?" Leo asked seeing them before his eyes widened.
"Wait, where are the others?" Jack asked quickly.
"Me, and her seen the Crimson Dragon on the way here too Barodius' castle. But I sensed Airzel, and Stoica here in this direction, and when I sensed Kazarina, and Gill's signatures fade I knew something was wrong. What happened?" Nurzak asked.
"What had happened Nurzak is that Gill was a traitor." they turned to Airzel who explained, "He murdered Kazarina in cold blood as revenge for her taking his place as his number 2, and his majesty killed him for treason. It was why he is in a foul mood right now, and now by siding with that Nurzak your also a traitor."
"I have enough of Barodius, Airzel. Now, I seek to purify him from the Silent Core." Nurzak stated simply.
"Well now, we have to get pass you two for us to get to Barodius." Reks said activating his Duel Disk.
Stoica only smirked asking, "Well, what are we waiting for?" The two readied as the Signers, Sherry, and Nurzak watched.

Jack just glared hatefully at him before turning to the duel. "Hurry up Reks, we don't have time for this."
"You should have all the time in the world for seeing your friend suffer... or perhaps being too late." Stoica smirked before laughing manically.

What rose was a humanoid warrior with Metaion's face with flame wisps around him with a grin readying.

Reks then added, "With that done, Metaion attack Lythirus!" Metaion charged a flame attack at the Mantis only for Stoica to call, "Not so fast! I activate Lythrius' ability! By using an Overlay Unit, I negate your attack, and you take 800 points of damage!" (ORU: 2 - 1) Lythrius takes the unit calling the wave barrier only for it to attack Reks.
Reks takes a card calling, "I activate the spell, Prevention of Time!"

"With this the damage, I would take gets wiped out, then I draw a card!" Reks called as a barrier protected him while he draws a card before calling, "Then Kamion attack Strikeflier!" Yusei's eyes widened in shock seeing that.
"Then, I activate Metaion's effect! At the end of the battle, since he attacked, you lose 300 points for every card on your field!" Reks called as Metaion fired fire streams at the two which cause them to brace themselves. (Stoica/Airzel: 1700/Hand: (Stoica: 1, Airzel: 0)) Metaion also broke the barrier as Reks quickly turned to Jack calling, "I got the barrier down, go Jack! I'll catch up!"
He nodded as the others ran to the Crimson Dragon and flew off.
"Luna!" Said girl turned to Reks who stared at her before he smiled, "I'll give you as much time as you need... Just know that, I'll make things right." With that he turned back to the duel with a serious expression. That's when to his shock Metaion and Kamion started cracking as the Crimson Dragon flew off.
The cracks then fade as Reks thought, 'What was that?' He shakes his head before turning back as Stoica yelled, "Our audience!"
Airzel glared hatefully at Reks, "Your gonna regret this!"
"Come, and try to crush me with that! I'll welcome it!" Reks declared before setting a card, "During this End Phase, the effect of Gathering of Time activates allowing me to shuffle 1 Time Passenger back to my Deck to draw a card!" Metaion was shuffled before he added, "That activates Metaion's effect!"
"Now what?" Stoica questioned.
"When Metaion leaves the field, or is shuffled one monster you control goes back to the Deck!" Lythirus screeched vanishing from the field.
"I end my turn."

Reks grunted from this. (Reks: 1200/Hand: 3) That was before he glared, "Well, I have an effect of my own!"
"Use whatever you want, it won't change a thing." Airzel told him.
"Well Kamion allows me to add Prevention of Time back to my hand." Reks said showing the card.
"I end my turn." Stoica sets a card.

Reks grunted at this, "Another one?"
"Yes another, and again I summon Strikeflier!" Airzel called as his ace rose from the graveyard.

"Good, now finish him off." Stoica smirked.
"The Fury of the Storms! Take the power of the demon core to be reshaped as the true commander of the skies! Rank-Up Xyz Change! Rank 9, Destiny Strikeflier!"

Airzel called, "I activate Strikeflier's ability! It attaches Silent Core to it in exchange to not being allowed to attack!" Strikeflier grabs another Unit. (ORU: 1 - 2) "Then I attach Multi-Camo Effect to it also due to it's effect!"
Destiny Strikeflier: (ORU: 2 - 3)
"You imbecile, you could have finished him off!" Stoica snapped.
"Take a look at his effect imbelice." Airzel growled warningly to Stoica.
"I am, Destiny Strikeflier can't be destroyed and his cards can't effect it." Stoica pointed out. "He has no monsters in play and it doesn't matter what his facedown card is if he only has 1200 life points. You didn't need to use that ability, just attack and wipe him out!"
That was when he noticed another effect.
Any battle damage this card inflicts to your opponent is halved.
Stoica just glared at him. "Fine, it won't change things anyway."
Airzel turned to Reks, "I end my turn." 'And as soon as he draws it's over.'

'Okay... here it is, the final stretch... If I don't get pass them, it's over.' Reks thought before calling, "I draw!"

"So now, 1 card in your hand goes to Strikeflier as an Overlay Unit!" Airzel called as Reks' drawn card glowed, "Then if our Life Points are higher, Diamond Trick becomes another Overlay Unit! And with 5 Overlay Units coming, Destiny Strikeflier's victory condition is about to be fulfilled!"
Stoica smirked at that.
Strikeflier attacks Reks who stared on before an explosion rang as Stoica smirked, "Well he wasn't BAD but he was certainly... " He, and Airzel's eyes widen when they see Reks looking unscathed from the attack still in the Duel.
"What? How did you-?" Airzel asked shocked.
"You look at Strikeflier's Overlay Units." Both Airzel, and Stoica looked seeing something off.

"Impossible!" Airzel cried seeing that.
"What did you do?" Stoica questioned.
"It's this trap." They looked seeing Reks activated a face-down.

"You dare use my monster against me?" Airzel questioned seeing that.
"I'm using the monster that will save you from the Silent Core." Reks answered.
"Corrupted Commander of the Skies! Be purified with the power of the Infinity Core into a new Time Creation! Fusion Summon! Level 10, Time Passenger, Sandaion!"
A large armored humanoid with Sandaion's face, and having large feathered wings rose up.

"Oh, and what would that be?" Airzel questioned.
"That, I am now able to defeat the Silent Core!" Reks declared before calling, "Sandaion attack Underword Lythrius!"
Sandaion charged a huge light blast against Lythrius.
Stoica at this called, "Not so fast, I activate Lythrius' ability! Whenever an attack is declared, I can negate it! But also you lose Life Points equal to half your monster's attack points!"
"Which means it's over!" Airzel called.
Reks then added, "It is... with my victory cause I have one last trick up my sleeve."
"What?" Stoica questioned.
"Xyz Downpour's effect!" Reks gestured to his trap that glowed, "Whenever an Xyz Monster on the field battles, you two are not allowed to use any effects during that battle!"
"That doesn't matter, your monster is a Fusion monster not..." Airzel started before his eyes widened and he turned to Underworld Lythrius.
"Yes ANY Xyz Monster not my own! Go!" Reks called as Sandaion fired the attack at Lythrius as it screamed dissolving before Stoica kneeled weakened. (Stoica/Airzel: 0900/Hand: (Stoica: 0, Airzel: 0))
Stoica slowly raises up before growling, "This... is still not over! We still have Life Points!"
"He's right, and since Stoica and I are sharing our field it means that on his turn this duel is over." Airzel agreed. "Destiny Strikeflier will finish you off."
"Actually, the duel is already over." Reks said to them before saying, "If you remember Sandaion from my match with Baroidus, you should also remember one critical thing... And the Sandaion I have now has inherited that ability!"
The two of them looked shocked as they stared at Reks Fusion Monster.
"At the end of the battle, Sandaion has made it deals the opponent 2000 points of damage! Like right now!" Sandaion charged a light spear throwing it at the two.
The two of them cried out as the spear of light hit them. The light also vaporized the two on contact ridding the galaxy of their existence.

Reks sighed upon the duels ending, "That was really close..." he looks at his Deck, "But this does show that with the Infinity Core, I can purify Dharak, and save him from the Silent Core. Guys, once we head in there isn't any going back. It's victory, or Oblivion... is everyone ready?"
He felt his monsters all nod at that.
Ulrich362: Only one battle left, and then it's all over.
bopdog111: Reks' new Deck definitely handled against Stoica who's really handy on dealing damage, and Airzel who has a victory condition both powered up with the Silent Core. Now all that's left is too see if it's enough against Barodius who also has the Silent Core.
