Ulrich362: True, and after a fairly long break... the time has come for Yudo to face one final opponent in the Synchro Dimension. The Duel King himself, Jack Atlas.
bopdog111: And with Yudo knowing 5D's it should be simple how to beat him... right?
Ulrich362: Yeah... I don't think so. This won't be easy. Oh, and really quick to clarify the end of the last chapter... Yuri's comment about Celina was due to him seeing her use a very powerful and overpowering strategy against Amy... only for Yudo who plays a very similar deck to counter and defeat her effectively showing him that while powerful, the Lunalight cards are relatively straightforward in their approach and as such less interesting in his mind. That said though, enjoy the chapter.

"Congratulations Yudo." Celina smiled. "That was a great duel."
"Yeah... You, and Lulu are tough a bit similar to my friends back home." Yudo admitted with a smile.
"We'll see them soon right?" Amy asked with her own smile.
Yudo softly nodded before looking up at the sky, "I wonder how their doing."
"Well before that there's one final thing we need to take care of." stated a voice from behind him.
Hearing that Yudo turned his head behind. Jack was standing behind him. "You might have won the Friendship Cup, but you're still a long way from being a champion."
Yudo only smiled walking over, and offered a hand, "May the best Duelist win."
Jack smirked taking it. "I intend to."
'Well Yuri, otherside from someone else, Jack Atlas is the strongest duelist of this Dimension, and can be relentless when he wants.' Yudo thought to Yuri in him, 'This should be good.'
'Oh, then by all means let me see firsthand how skilled he is.' Yuri replied as Yudo and Jack got into position.
Melissa called to everyone, "Okay everyone, you ready to rock!?" The audience cheered before she called, "We're now here for the title match where Yudo Akaba, our new duelist will have a chance to decrown Jack Atlas as the Duel King in one final clash here! Jack Atlas is the undefeated Champion so it's gonna take all Yudo has to knock the crown off him, and take the throne! Duelists, are you ready!?"
"I'm always ready." Jack answered. "The question is, are you Yudo?"
Yudo gulped but smiles saying, "I sure am, when you are."
"Then let's start this match!"
With that said the countdown started as Yudo, and Jack readied their Duel Vechcles.
"Let's Duel!" Jack and Yudo called as they raced off with Jack deliberately slowing down to give Yudo the first turn.

"Not a bad start." Jack noted calmly.
Yudo discards before adding, "So now, I summon Darkened Emerald Gem!"
An emerald with a purple aura appeared.

"That's good, now he can use Jack's monster against him." Yuya pointed out.
"Trust me, it isn't even close to enough." Crow told him.

"Next up, I'll summon Crystal Shark!" Yudo added as Shark rose up growling.

Masquerade's sealed form roses up before forming into his Xyz Ace reading it's rings.

Jack's monster shattered from the blast.

"Then Staring Venom attack Clock Resonator!" The dragon charged attacking the Tuner.
"Nice try, but while Clock Resonator is in defense mode he can't be destroyed one time every turn." Jack revealed as his monster survived the blast. "And since you're all out of attacks, I can play my trap card Descending Lost Star to bring Crimson Blader back from my graveyard."

What emerged from it was a dark red dragon raising up roaring twirling around revealing it's form to everyone. The dragon has three horns on each sides of his head, and one on top of his head with red eyes, long demonic like wings that has two spikes on them armor like scales that are red on it's body sharp claws, and talons along with having a mean demeanor flying above Jack.

'It's certainly impressive.' Yuri admitted though Yudo could tell he was excited to go up against it.
"Red Nova Dragon gains 500 attack points for every Tuner monster in my graveyard, and as I'm sure you remember Yudo, I currently have four tuners, which means 2000 more attack points." Jack told him.
Red Nova Dragon: (ATK: 3500 + (500 * 4) = 5500)
"Now attack Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, Burning Soul!"
Red Nova roared charging forward before Yudo called, "By banishing Darkened Gem from the graveyard, Starving Venom isn't destroyed!"
"But you'll still take the damage from my attack." Jack reminded him.
Red Nova struck Starving Venom but Starving Venom wasn't destroyed Yudo braces himself from the damage. (Yudo: 0200/Hand: 0)
"I end my turn." Jack told Yudo.

Yudo drew calling, "Okay draw!" He looked seeing he drawn Frozen Heart, 'Okay... he has a face-down which could be anything... I just hope it can be enough.' "Okay, I activate my face-down, Necroid Ritual!"

His ionic monster rose up roaring.

"His three strongest monsters." Amy whispered seeing them as Carlita frowned slightly seeing Starving Venom with the other two.
"And now, I activate Starving Venom's ability! Take Red Nova's abilities!" Starving Venom shot the vines at Red Nova Dragon.
Jack frowned hearing that.

"And with the ability Starving Venom gained, it's attack points increase by 500 for every Tuner in my graveyard!" Yudo called to Jack, "I have two right now!"

"Then, I activate Frozen Heart's ability! By Tributing him, Starving Venom gains 1200 more points!" Frozen Heart vanished as his ice armor appeared on Starving Venom roared more.

"Your monster is still 500 points short." Jack told him.
Yudo only grinned to him, "Are you sure?" Jack looked confused before Yudo called, "At the start of the Battle Phase, since Unicorn's banished all my monsters gain 500 more points!"

Umbral Horror Masquerade: (ATK: 3000 + 500 = 3500)
Jack's eyes widened in shock.
"Starving Venom's strong enough against Jack's Red Nova Dragon!" Melissa cried in shock from this.
Yudo then called, "Alright Starving Venom attack Red Nova Dragon!" Starving Venom roared charging Red Nova's attack, "Burning Soul!" Starving Venom charged at Red Nova intending to destroy it.
"I banish Red Nova Dragon to negate your attack!" Jack called as his monster vanished.
Yudo at this smirked calling, "Not so fast, I activate Umbral Horror Masquerade's Special Ability! By using an Overlay Unit, Red Nova's ability is negated! But not only that but by forcing you to discard a card, your life points are cut in half! Dark Blunder!"
Umbral Horror Masquerade takes a unit. (ORU: 4 - 3) Before launching a pink wave at Jack. Jack's eyes widened as his effect failed to activate and one of his cards went to the graveyard.

With that both Starving Venom, and Red Nova clashed against each other before piercing through each other destroying both dragons in a large explosion above which shows dust, and sparkles replaced the two dragons when everyone looked to check.
"That... it's over." Yugo whispered in shock.
'Alright Red Nova's gonezo!' Yudo grinned in his mind before looking at Jack's field, 'And now I have victory in sights... but he still has a face-down, and I don't know what it could be... here goes nothing!' "Okay, Umbral Horror Masquerade, finish him off!"
His Chaos Number rose up before firing the chaotic attack at Jack. Jack watched the attack fly towards him before frowning as it hit.

'That wasn't a card to stop anything?' Yudo thought in shock seeing that.
The entire stadium was silent seeing that. Silence filled the stadium for a minute until Yudo hears something before looking around noticing everyone started to clap, and whistle for him.
'He was who you were hyping up so much?' Yuri questioned in clear annoyance.
'Well... in my defense, he was really tough to beat.' Yudo told him before saying, 'And, he always have strong traps.'
He could feel Yuri roll his eyes. 'Well regardless, it's time to head home for you and your twin sister correct?'
'Still have one thing to do.' Yudo answered to him.
'What do you mean?' Yuri inquired.
Yudo turned to Melissa gesturing her down so he can speak to everyone from her microphone. Blinking she handed him her microphone. Yudo raises it making sure it's working before saying, "Everyone... it is time to come together. Both the Tops, and Commons to stay separated is causing more trouble then peace, and one of your own had been against you in trying to rule New Domino City. Sector Security's Director, Jean-Michel Roget is part of a group to rule over different places, and if left alone he would've taken over this fair city by now. He's already been apprehended but the point, I'm trying to make is that the Commons have a place here in this world. They may not be Rich, but they have each other. So what I want to say is let's all come together as one, and make peace with each other."
'Yudo...' Amy thought with a smile as Carlita blushed at that.
"And I know you guys have different opinions but take a look at the person you care for with ya." Yudo added to the Tops, "Imagine if their broke, and have to be in the Commons spot. Would that make you feel bad?" Several Tops start to look a bit convinced before he added, "You all looked down at the Commons for a long time but now it's time for that to stop, the Commons have a place here at this world as much as you all do, and nothing changes that. They also have something money can't buy: Love, and Support for each other. They all make it this far cause of their will to live, and do everything for who they cared for even against Sector Security's abuse of the law. So that is why, the Tops should stop hating the Commons, and make peace with them for now on."
A few moments passed before he heard applause throughout the stadium. Hearing that he looked around smiling at this before he added, "As for you Commons, I know you probably hate the Tops cause of numerous things they did. But I promise give another chance, and they are good people. So now, it's time for this fair city to stop living in hatred, and now live in harmony like it's suppose to be!"
Amy smiled as more cheering started sounding. With that Yudo handed to microphone back to Melissa with a smile, "Thanks for this."
She just nodded in shock at what he just did. He soon turned to Jack with a smile saying, "Thanks for the match Jack, it was a great honor to duel you." He bows to him. Jack just nodded at that. With that Yudo walks back to his group.
"That was... well you were great." Carlita admitted.
"I thought he had a trap there... Well it almost made me not chance it." Yudo shrugs with a smile before saying, "Now... it's time for you guys to head to me, and Amy's home."
Amy gasped at that and looked down. He softly takes her hand with a smile before tying in something, and pressed a button before they all transported.
In Detriot...
Everyone appeared in a park looking around before Yudo smiled, "Yeah... this is my home... Detroit, Michigan."
"This, it looks so normal... so peaceful." Celina whispered looking around as Amy walked to a tree and hesitantly placed a hand on it.
"I'm... home." she whispered.
"Follow me." Yudo smiled as they followed him.
Everyone sees Detroit looks really civil, and normal nothing related about Duel Monsters everywhere they go before Yudo looked over seeing a building before saying to them, "That's my School. Wanye Elementary. As you can see it's not a Duel School, just a regular boring school." Of course he only said boring for them to get the idea it's nothing special not cause he finds it boring.
"So like Paradise Prep." Yuya mentioned hearing that.
Seeing something he smiled, "Come on, I have a feeling, I know what's going on."
They walked with him before they find a crowd where they can see two girls dueling each other, and one just summoned a familiar Xyz Monster, and made a final attack.
"Huh, what are they doing?" Yugo asked seeing them sitting at a table.
"Now attack and end this duel!" one of the girls called.
The other girl sighed before smiling, "Well done Ems. You been really tough ever since you gotten Harpie's Pet Phantasmal Dragon.
"You're right about that Claire, and it's all thanks to..." Emily started before pausing and looking down sadly.
Deciding to show himself Yudo walked over with a smile calling, "Hey, Emily! Claire!" The two looked over surprised before widening their eyes gasping before he closed his eyes asking, "Did ya two miss me?"
"L... Leo?" Emily asked in shock.
"Is it really you?" Claire asked before they ran and hugged him.
"Where have you been?" Emily questioned.
Yudo rubs the back of head saying, "Sorry about leaving so suddenly... There was something, I had to do. Oh but you two will never believe what I'd been doing."
"Making your two best friends in the world worry themselves to death." Claire frowned. "Seriously, after we heard you weren't at the orphanage we thought something terrible had happened. We thought that killer got to you too!"
Yudo frowned before saying, "Well actually... he's chasing me right now... but now I know why he murdered Dad, and Mum!" He then looked around before asking, "Will you two join us at my old house? I rather not catch any unwanted attention, I'll explain everything I promise."
They exchanged a glance before nodding.
