Hello everyone –
I am sorry to report that the news on mom isn't good.
Approximately three weeks ago my mother was put on a ventilator for five days mostly due to the effect of the chemo was having on her body and her lack of nutrition. Well, she rallied back with the addition of a doper tube (nasal feeding tube) and it looked like she was on the road to recovery and getting better.
However, yesterday morning we received a call from the hospital saying her status had changed and we rushed to the hospital only to find three doctors and over eight nurses in her room putting her back on the ventilator and as of early this morning she is in ICU with six medications being pumped into her just to keep her blood pressure u. The last reading was 65 over 27 and falling. My father and I went home to try and get some sleep which I still haven't done yet now I am just sitting up waiting for a phone call I pray never comes.
