Harrison Potter-Black-Pendragon and his wives Ginny, Hermione and Daphne stood at the veil of Death knowing their time on earth had ended. They had survived a nuclear holocaust barely in their castle and the veil was the only thing left in the Ministry so they traveled there knowing they could be sent to another time and place, and they stepped through only to be met by Death herself. "Greetings master and mistresses. I have been waiting for you all." "Death?" Harry asked. The figure nodded yes, "You are now in my realm however your journey is not yet done. I am sending you all to a galaxy far, far away in a time of peace soon to be war. You will be reborn into new bodies and lives. However I will grant you each 1 boon. The first of which will be an animal familiar of your choosing." Death said to them. Harry spoke up "I would like an Umbreon from the show Pokémon as my familiar." Harry replied thinking he wouldn't get it, but it appeared. "Damn!" Harry exclaimed at seeing his new familiar. Daphne went next "I would like a Hungarian Horntail the size of Harry's familiar." "Done." Death said and the animal appeared next to her, and it flew to her shoulder, landed and nuzzled her. Hermione was next, "Could you gift me with a snow tiger the size of Harry's familiar?" "Done." Death replied and her familiar appeared. Lastly Ginny asked for a Flareon, and it was given to her. "Now these animals will now go into hibernation and will awaken at the same time as your memories of this life. That will take place at the age of 21." Death explained. "Thank you, Death, we hope not to see you for a very long time." Harry said. The foursome disappeared with their familiars and suddenly each of them opened their eyes.
~Chapter 1~
On the planet of Drakulon three children were born to the most powerful families on the planet. The boy's parents named Michael and Selene Corvinus named her son Hadrian while a girl was born to the family of Ryu and Sakura Nakano named Ryoko and a girl to the family of Viktor and Amelia Tepes named Faora. All three were remarkably healthy and as was done by tradition the trio received testing for an M-Count. The results were that each child was near 20,000 but they decided not to transmit the results to the Jedi just yet as they wanted to spend time with their children. The families decided that if their children were to become Jedi that they would use their considerable resources and to design and build a ship strictly for their use. The families decided to use the design of the old X-70B Phantom and scale it down to half the size. They decided to truly take their time with the design and construction of the ship wanting to come up with new weapons and hyperdrive designs since no one had made improvements in that area for thousands of years. They made a change to the cockpit of the ship by moving the pilot and co-pilot stations to be at the bottom of a small ramp and not at the immediate front of the ship and moved the weapons station to be in the middle and on top of the ramp directly behind the pilot and co-pilot. They also installed an engineering station to be aft of the tactical station with a chair that can swivel so that the person working engineering can see what is happening. Since the people of Drakulon kept their technology to themselves no one knew that they had designed a type of bio-mechanical skin for the hull which would disperse energy weapons and absorb physical damage and learn from it. The engineers for the ship decided to make the hull of the ship black with red highlighted and gold trimming the ship.
5 years later the people of Drakulon had been seeing and hearing reports of a possible war happening since the Invasion of Naboo and hadn't wanted to take any chances. "It is time to send the results to the Jedi then we await a representative from the Council." Michael said to an employee." The employee complied and the results were sent. "Please contact the Nakano and Tepes families and have them join us here." The invitations were sent and 30 minutes later they all walked into the conference room. "Thank you for coming." Michael said to them. "Thank you for inviting us Ryu Nakano replied. Viktor Tepes also thanked him. "We have sent the results to the Jedi and now we await their representative. I brought you here to discuss the concessions we are going to get from the Jedi. Now aside from the Republic we represent a great many systems as part of the Drakulon Empire and as such we are a very powerful government. I'd like to be able to talk to my son regularly as I am sure you want to speak with your daughters. I think they would allow us that as our race isn't as prone to fall to the dark side of the Force. What would you like to gain from the Jedi?" Michael asked. Viktor spoke up, "I would like the children to be raised as Order of the Dragon warriors complete with armor, blasters and jet packs. Now we are not like the Mandalorians as we do not have Beskar, but we do have Drakonian a metal that is stronger than Beskar and at a third of the weight. They can wear this armor in public as it is not known outside of our government with their lightsabers." "I like that idea" Ryu chimed in agreeing. "With the rumblings of a possible Civil War in the Republic the ship we are building will be crucial to them and I propose using our magic to put in 4 starfighters in 2 fighter bays so that they can engage ship to ship if they so choose and we should design fighters for them. Now the reason I say four is that our children form a soul bond and there is a line leading off world we are not sure to whom, but they will find her and bring her into the fold." Michael replied. "I was not aware of that, why have you told us now and not when they were born?" Ryu asked. "Because I was not sure that it was your daughters until I cast the spell again a week ago.
For that I apologize. If we are done discussing I would ask that you return home and begin packing the children's bags, so they are ready." Michael replied. The families said goodbye and went home.
As Michael and Selene got home their son Hadrian ran up to give them a hug smiling and showing his vampiric heritage, "Welcome home mother, father. I've missed you." "We've missed you too son. Mother is going to go and help you pack as you are about to go on an epic journey amongst the stars with Ryoko and Faora and become Jedi." Michael said. Hadrian's eyes began to tear up, "Worry not son for you will always be able to contact us. We are giving the three of you our most advanced wrist comm so you can contact us wherever you are, and we will see you every 3 months at least." Michael said as he kneeled down to hug his son. Elsewhere at the homes of Faora and Ryoko the same discussion was being held and each child happy with the wrist comm and seeing them every 3 months cheered them up and off they went to pack.
4 weeks later a Jedi Cruiser jumped out of lightspeed in the Drakulon system. "Drakulon Prime this is the Jedi Cruiser Allegiance. On board we have Jedi Grandmaster Yoda and Jedi Master Mace Windu, and we are requesting clearance to land at the home of Michael Corvinus." "Wait please while we contact Lord Corvinus to confirm." The Jedi waited for 15 minutes when the clearance officer spoke, "You are cleared to land at Lord Corvinus's residence when you land, please wait for the ship to be scanned then you may disembark." "Roger that thank you." The cruiser's captain responded. The planetary defenses deactivated momentarily to allow the cruiser to pass through then flew on a direct course to the country estate of Lord Michael and Lady Selene Corvinus when they landed a cadre of soldiers surrounded the ship while a scanning beam ran over the ship for a few minutes then shut off and the soldiers went back to their barracks and out walked Lord and Lady Corvinus and their son Hadrian. The ramp descended and out walked a tall bald black man and a short elf like being walking with a stick. "Master Yoda, Master Windu. Welcome to Drakulon Prime and our home. We are honored to have the Jedi Grandmaster in our home to discuss our son and his friends who shall be here in 20 minutes please join us in our meeting chambers. Hadrian when Ryoko and Faora arrive please carry their bags to your room and have them join you there. We will send for you when we are done." Michael said to his son. "I will father thank you." He said hugging his father who hugged him back. Hadrian then went back to the house to wait for his friends to arrive. "Follow us please." Michael said to the Jedi. While they walked Selene spoke to Master Windu, "How was your journey here?" "It was a pleasant journey though I notice how much more peaceful your planet is. How did you achieve that?" "A long and bloody war 1000 years before the formation of the Republic. We have remained on the outskirts of the Republic for so long though many of our citizens have been Jedi non have been what you call Sith. Our people embrace our emotions and we do not let them control us. Which is why we are supremely confident that your order will train our children for they will be great Jedi." Selene replied to Windu. Mace smiled at her knowing how rare it is to find Force sensitive children who are like that.
The foursome walked into the chamber to find the Nakano and Tepes families waiting for them. The families rose as the Corvinuses entered with the Jedi, "Master Jedi I am Viktor, and this is my wife Amelia Tepes it is truly an honor to meet the Grandmaster of the order." Viktor said. "I am Ryu Nakano, and this is my wife Sakura Nakano. I reiterate what Viktor just said and I hope relations with our government can and will be fruitful." Ryu said as he and his wife shook the hands of Yoda and Mace Windu after the Tepes shook hands.
They all sat down and began to talk logistics with the Jedi. Michael spoke first, "I would like to thank you both for coming here to speak with us. We all admire the work your order has done to keep the peace. However before we let our children go into the Jedi Order, we have some conditions. Number the first we ask that you allow the children to either come home for a week every three months or we can contact them using wrist communicators that we are giving them once a week. Number the second, we have been hearing rumors of systems leaving the Republic to forum a new government so there is a possible Civil War brewing. If that happens, we will be sending a ship of our own design and 12 of our best fighters to them for use in this war. Number the third along with the ship armor will be sent for them to wear in combat as no one has ever seen our warriors outside of very rare history books no one will know. Number the fourth they will train together they are part of a 4-way soul bond and their last partner is in the order or so we think. When it is time to be chosen as Padawans we ask that their teachers allow them to train together and go on missions because that will allow them to mature their bonds and lastly, we ask that you entrust this knowledge with the members of the council with whom you think would understand and possibly be willing to take them on as apprentices." Michael finished. The other parents agreed with the conditions. "Excuse us please. Discuss this we will and have an answer for you soon." Yoda said as he and Mace stood up. "You can discuss this in my private office." Michael said as he directed them to the office. Michael called for a servant, "Valeria could you brings us some cups of blood please and send some up to the children?" "Yes, my lord." She responded. "So when will you tell the Jedi about our diets?" Amelia asked smiling widely showing her fangs. "When we have our agreement signed. Don't worry I will be sending enough blood to last them for their lives in the Temple in a special container to keep it fresh." Michael finished when goblets of blood appeared. "To the kids!" They all toasted.
Upstairs Hadrian, Faora and Ryoko were talking about the journey they would be going on together. An hour later a servant came up to get the children and their belongings, "Your parents want to give you some items and say goodbye." She said to them. "Thank you, Valeria, I'll miss you while I am away." Hadrian said followed by Ryoko and Faora. The trio picked up their bags and went downstairs. When they got to the foot of the stairs their parents were standing there along with the Jedi. "Children, this is Yoda the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order and his companion Jedi Master Mace Windu the second highest ranking Jedi on the council. They are here to escort you to join the Order. Before you all leave, we should tell you that we are vampires and that we live off of blood. Don't you worry we are sending lifetime supplies with the children in special containers that will keep it fresh. As long as we consume blood regularly, we can eat regular food as well. In fact we here are quite enthusiastic about food. So you don't need to worry about anyone suddenly going missing. But being vampires grants us super strength, agility, speed, senses, super durability, healing factor, enhanced emotional control and emotions. We also have a form of our own compulsion which will work on anyone even Jedi and immortality which does not begin until they turn the age of 21 being descended from the Original Vampires. With the children also being Jedi they will be practically unstoppable; we are stronger than normal vampires which is why we are the noble families." Michael explained to them. Yoda and Mace looked interested as they wanted to see how they would turn out when fully trained. "Goodbye Hadrian, be nice to the Jedi and no compulsions or having your fellow younglings facing their greatest fears." Michael said to his son. "Faora, do not start any fights or attempt to snack on anyone." Viktor said to his daughter. "Ryoko, keep them in line and watch over each other. We will miss you." Ryu and Sakura said to her.
The children hugged their parents and said they would talk to them soon and they walked out with the Jedi to their ship. "Welcome aboard the Jedi Cruiser Allegiance while we travel to the temple on Coruscant I want to get to know you 3 to see what we've gotten ourselves into." Mace said to the trio. "First I do have a question. Can a person be made into a vampire, or do you have to be born one?" "My father once talked to me about that. A natural born vampire will always be the strongest but if you are made into one and the longer you live the stronger you will become but a made vampire will never be as strong as a natural born vampire and before you ask yes, we can turn other species into vampires, but it is rare as we don't venture beyond our borders." That satisfied Mace as he did not know if other Jedi would want to be vampires or not. They continued talking until Master Yoda entered, "Meditate we must to begin your training." He said with a wise smile and a chuckle. Mace showed the trio how to sit comfortably and to peer into themselves to see their inner energy. After 2 hours of meditating the trio went to their quarters to have some blood and read books, they brought with them.
The time passed quickly and 6 hours later they entered the Coruscant system gained clearance to enter the atmosphere and flew to the temple. As the trio got off, they looked around in wonder at the huge structure. Little did they know that they would bring their people into the wider galaxy and form a rebellion to save the galaxy.
~Fast Forward 9 years~
A war had begun between the Galactic Republic and the Confederation of Independent Systems. The first battle was on the planet Geonosis where three hundred Jedi went into battle and only thirty survived. On board a transport to the planet Christophsis two padawans were going to meet their new masters. One of them is a Togruta named Ahsoka Tano and the other is Hadrian Corvinus. Unbeknownst to their new masters Hadrian has been assigned to Obi-Wan Kenobi while Ahsoka has been assigned to Anakin Skywalker. The pair had been introduced aboard the cruiser and were told of their mission to get their new masters to rescue Jabba the Hutt's son.
After arriving on Christophsis Anakin and Ahsoka disabled the shield generator while Obi-Wan and Hadrian forced the Separatist General to surrender. It was about 20-30 minutes after that when Yoda arrived on the planet and gave them their orders. Anakin and Ahsoka went off to the planet Teth while Obi-Wan and Hadrian went to Tatooine to forge a temporary alliance with the Hutt Lord. Anakin and Ahsoka managed to reach the temple where Jabba's son was while Obi-Wan and Hadrian launched in their fighters to help the soldiers on the surface. Anakin and Ahsoka managed to get to a ship and took off. After some fancy flying their ship made the jump into lightspeed on a course for Tatooine. They also fought off magna droids and Count Dooku and returned the Huttling to Jabba who proclaimed a treaty for the use of hyperspace routes through the Outer Rim.
Upon returning to the Temple where Ryoko and Faora were waiting it was decided that Shaak Ti would become Ryoko's new master while Aayla Secura would become Faora's new master. The council also said that they would all work together, when possible, to allow the four padawans to get used to working as one unit. Yoda explained that he foresaw that the foursome would make an impressive Jedi Sentinel unit when they become full Jedi Knights.
The war continued with the padawans off fighting in their own battles working together occasionally. It was 2 and a half years in when the worst event in their minds happened. The foursome were framed for a bombing in the capital and when they managed to capture the one responsible it made no difference at all. They were convicted and they were cleared. To the public however they would decline readmission to the Order. Behind closed doors however, "Remain Jedi you four will. Keep your sabers and remain as reserve Jedi. Know your families as I do, they have a ship on its way for the four of you to use along with a squad of twelve soldiers your age who are the best equipped and trained from your world. The ship you have no Jedi markings will be on it. So safe you all should be. Call on you we might so respond quickly you must." Yoda said with Shaak Ti, Aayla Secura, Obi-Wan and Anakin in the room with them. "I'm sorry my apprentice, I've failed you." Anakin said to Hadrian, "No you did not, Master. I've learned more from you in almost 3 years than I learned at the temple, and I have been honored. We have a present for each of you." Each padawan gave a communication device for their wrist. "With this you can contact us wherever we are, and we can do the same as well." Hadrian leaned in to speak into Anakin's ear, "tell your beautiful wife that if you needed a safe place for your children, I would say that you both may go to our home world for safety. Also my master please be weary around the Chancellor as vampires we have impressive hearing and one afternoon while I was waiting outside his office while you visited Padme, I heard him speaking with Dooku and Grievous. I fear he may be the Dark Lord who has been behind everything. Please share it with the rest of the council members and don't hide your relationship as it is only a matter of time before that relationship is exploited and not for good but to tear you down and force you to the dark side." Hadrian finished. "Thank you, Hadrian. But who should I tell first?" Anakin asked. "I think Obi-Wan is your best bet for that." Came the response. Anakin thanked him and gave him a hug and then he put the wrist comm on his wrist.
The other padawans and their masters all said their farewells and gave the wrist comms. "Master Yoda, if any Jedi need sanctuary Drakulon is ready to help." Hadrian said to the Grandmaster." "Thank you I do for that information, make plans we shall. The dark side I feel all around us now. Go I must back to the council to apprise the rest of the Council. Send your lightsabers we will to your ship as you must walk out of here without them. Anakin make a plea to Ahsoka outside, and she will refuse as will the others and solidify the public appearance of their leaving the order. Which is what happened, and they were escorted back to the temple for them to collect their belongings then they were taken to a hotel where they awaited their ship.
"What's next?" Ahsoka asked. "Well we are going to become mercenaries for the Republic. Our parents have put suits of armor on our ship and that is what we will wear while we fight. I've made sure Ahsoka that we have a helmet made especially for your montrails. Also… We have magic on top of our force abilities so we will be shrinking the lightsabers to go in a holster at your lower back underneath the cloak. "Hadrian explained. "Then when you are older if you want, we can bring you across and become a vampire like us." "I want to wait awhile before I make that decision." Ahsoka replied. "I understand, we will become full vampires when we turn 21." Hadrian explained. "That's right Soka right now we are still stronger than made vampires, but we have not come into our full powers." Ryoko said while Faora agreed. The foursome made it to the hotel. Hadrian, Faora and Ryoko had some more blood while Ahsoka ate food native to her species. They only had to wait a week at the hotel before their ship arrived flown by one of the soldiers.
The foursome went aboard the ship and went into the armory where they found their armor, bodysuits, helmets, blasters and jetpacks. Then they went into their quarters and unpacked and while they did that a trooper knocked at the door, "Come in." Ryoko said. In walked the trooper with a box. Faora opened the box to find all of their lightsabers. "Thank Vlad we've got these again. I felt naked without them." Ryoko said smiling. "Well if we are done, we should go see the troopers quarters and introduce ourselves." Hadrian said. The foursome left their quarters and walked over to the troopers quarters and when they walked in, they heard a female voice say, "ATTENTION ON DECK!" The troopers stood at attention. "Greetings I am Hadrian Corvinus, and this is Ryoko Nakano, Faora Tepes and Ahsoka Tano. I suppose we are the commanding officers so in military terms I am the Captain, Ryoko is the Commander, Faora is the Lieutenant Commander and Ahsoka is the Lieutenant." He spoke. They heard a familiar voice, "Don't let your head get too big here!" The female voice pulled off her helmet to reveal another childhood friend. "Kiara MacLeod! I didn't know you'd been assigned." Faora said. "Assigned nothing we all volunteered for this mission, and we've been training for almost 13 years we are now your soldiers." The trio smiled at their old friend. "Who else requested this assignment?" Faora asked her. "Arya Stark, Klaus Mikaelson, Mina Harker, Erika O'Connor, Elijah Mikaelson, Claire MacLeod, Daenerys Harker, Damon Salvatore, Rebekah Mikaelson, Scarlet de Martel & Liam MacLeod. Each person said removing their helmets. "It is wonderful to see you all." They trio said to their childhood friends. "My old friends it is my pleasure to introduce you to the last member of our soul bond… Ahsoka Tano." Hadrian said. They all welcomed her with a hug. "I think we need to get going here we are outliving our warm welcome. Your parents are expecting to see you." Kiara said to Hadrian. "Alright let's get going I've missed home." Hadrian replied while Ryoko and Faora agreed. "Ladies let's get to the cockpit and get out of here." "They all agreed. Soldiers get settled in the back and feel free to relax when we get home, we are going to see how well you really are trained." Faora said with a feral grin. The foursome went to the cockpit with Hadrian and Ryoko sitting in the pilot and co-pilots seat while Faora sat down at Tactical while Ahsoka sat at Engineering. Activating the ships engines it lifted off using its V/STOL systems and flew off into space. The coordinates were set for Drakulon, and the ship entered lightspeed as they got into space outside of Coruscant's orbit.
A few days later the ship dropped out of lightspeed, "Welcome home Dark Phoenix you have been cleared to land at your parent's estate in the countryside." "Thank you, Drakulon Control." Hadrian replied. "I bet your parents are there too Ry, Fay this will also be the perfect opportunity to introduce them to Ahsoka." Hadrian said smiling and showing his fangs. "I can't wait to see mom and dad in person. It has been years." Ryoko said to the others. "I agree." Faora said." Their ship flew down and followed course to the estate of the Corvinus family.
As they flew overhead, they saw their parents waiting for them to land. Hadrian maneuvered the ship until the ship landed. The entry ramp lowered and Hadrian, Ryoko, Faora and Ahsoka walked down. "Mother, Father… I've missed you." Hadrian said as he hugged his parents. "Oh my son you've grown you look dangerous." Selene said to him. "She is right son I can feel the power radiate from you and your mates. Who is this with you?" Michael asked. "This is Ahsoka Tano she is the last part of our soul bond and our last mate." Hadrian replied. "Come here Ahsoka let us see you." Ahsoka stepped forward. "Sir, it is an honor to meet you both, I've come to really like Hadrian, Faora and Ryoko. Is it ok if I stay?" She asked them. "Ahsoka if I might call you that. We would enjoy for you to stay as long as you need to." Selene said.
Faora and Ryoko hugged their parents and introduced them to Ahsoka who smiled and thanked them. Lastly, they were summoned to speak with Lord Vlad Dracula the Emperor of the Drakulon Empire. So they flew their ship to the capital of Drakulon Prime, Camarilla. They walked to the throne room alone.
"Enter the throne room please." The guard said to the group as first Hadrian, Ahsoka, Ryoko and Faora walked in and upon seeing Lord Dracula they took a knee in respect. "My children, welcome home as Dragon Jedi and rise." He said to them. The foursome rose and stood at attention in front of their monarch. "Thank you, my lord, … I've missed you Grandpa." The three vampires said. "I've missed you my grandchildren you have done us all proud. I can tell by your reactions to the soldiers assigned to you that you are pleased, yes?" "We are thank you. It will be quite fun to go into battle with them and the ships you've given to us. We would like to spend a few months here to train on simulators for the new ships so if we do go into battle, we are able to fight efficiently." Faora said. "Of course that can be arranged. On a world capable of life but which we have not yet settled on we will build a base atop a large mesa with heavy weapons to defend your base and a built-in hangar in the towering mesa itself." Lord Dracula said to them. "One advantage of the location we are building is that your vampiric abilities will grow stronger and if you choose to when you turn Ahsoka she will by ingesting my blood become a born vampire like you all." Lord Dracula explained. "Thank you." They all replied. "Ahsoka has said she does not want to be like us until we are all 21 or 22." Hadrian said to Lord Dracula. "That is understood now come with me your grandmother wants to see you." He said to them as they followed him into the family room where their grandmother Mina waited for them. As they walked in Mina walked up to them and the foursome bowed in respect, "Oh my grandchildren you do not need to bow to me." She said smiling. "Yes, grandmother but we wanted to so we could show Ahsoka that it does not matter if we are related to you, we still show respect." Hadrian replied to her. "Thank you, my dears, but because you four are in a soul bond that means that Ahsoka is now my granddaughter as well. Now sit down and tell me everything." She said motioning to the couches where the foursome sat down and began to share their experiences about the war and being Jedi.
~6 months later~
"We are getting notification of an attack on Coruscant. Get the troops ready we leave in 5!" Hadrian said to everyone. Less than 5 minutes later they were aboard the Dark Phoenix, and they made the jump into light speed. Pushing the limits of the hyperdrive they made the trip in 7 hours. Jumping out of hyperspace Hadrian, Ahsoka, Ryoko and Faora jumped into the fighters while they soldier flew the Dark Phoenix. "Dragon Squadron launching." Hadrian said into his comm. The four fighters exited the bay, and the ships joined the fray. "Send a message to Master Yoda letting him know we are here and are joining the fight. Does he need us to attempt any rescues or just wipe out the droids?" Cpt. Kiara MacLeod sent the message and received the answer to just engage the droid fighters and the capital ships as Generals Skywalker and Kenobi were inbound to rescue the Chancellor. Kiara and Scarlet took over the pilot and co-pilot seat while two others took over the other stations. They began to fly the ship through the battle breaking off to engage a squadron of fighters headed to a Republic cruiser while the fighters took on a squad themselves.
They were notified of 2 Jedi fighters entering the system with a squadron of ARC 170 fighters. Hadrian and Ahsoka smiled recognizing their former masters. As the battle continued, they were able to watch as Obi-Wan and Anakin flew into the CIS cruiser to rescue the Chancellor. "Master Anakin?" Ahsoka said into her comm. "Ahsoka it's great to hear from you." "Thank you master. Be careful this feels like a trap where you may be forced into killing Dooku. Resist it all costs as he needs to be brought to the Order for trial." She responded. "I will Ahsoka." Anakin replied. Hadrian was giving the same advice to Obi-Wan and asking him to watch each other's backs.
As the battle began to end the four fighters flew back to the Dark Phoenix and went into the bays. The foursome went into the galley where the others were waiting, and they all drank a toast of blood to the best ship designers in the galaxy and to each other. Ahsoka of course had a glass of juice. While doing that the four "Jedi" felt the Force tense and then ring out a trill of joy, "Anakin and Obi-Wan must have captured Dooku!" Ahsoka said and then they felt the Force cry out in terror, "What the hell was that?" Hadrian asked. "Master Kenobi?" Hadrian yelled into the wrist comm. "Master Skywalker?" Ahsoka also asked. "Ahsoka, Dooku is dead! I didn't kill him, but I think I did. Also the Chancellor escaped in an escape pod and Grievous launched all of the others! We need a pickup at once!" Anakin said. "On our way master stay in the spire we will be there momentarily." Ahsoka replied. Hadrian and Ryoko flew the ship to the Invisible Hand where Anakin and Obi-Wan were waiting. 'Soka use the docking clamp and use your saber to cut through the hull and get them out of there immediately." Hadrian instructed. Following Hadrian's instructions she did exactly that and moments later Anakin, Obi-Wan and Artoo Detoo rushed onto the Dark Phoenix. "Close the hatch and we are heading back to the temple. Faora target the Invisible Hand and open fire with everything we've got. Have some of the other cruisers do the same. We don't want that ship to crash land possibly killing civilians." "Roger that love." Faora replied then targeting the Invisible hand she opened fire. Other cruisers joined in, and the ship was destroyed just before it entered the atmosphere. Anakin and Obi-Wan stepped onto the bridge. "Great job you four let's head back and make our report to the Council." Obi-Wan said to them. "Thank you, master. It is great to see you again." Anakin went to Ahsoka, "Snips life outside the Order agrees with you." He said smiling. "It does master, with Hadrian, Ry, Fay and Ki I feel complete." She responded. "I'm sorry about your mission to rescue the Chancellor." She said to him. "Thanks Ahsoka but the weird thing is I caught a glimpse of the person under the hood, and it looked like me, but it wasn't mean you know?" Ahsoka shook her head as she did not understand. "What are you saying Anakin?" "I think that was a clone of me but… oh shit! They got my DNA from the arm Count Dooku cut off at the 1st battle of Geonosis. But who would…? It's got to be Sidious the Dark Lord Obi-Wan told me about. This is not good at all. We need to tell the council when we get back." "Hadrian contact Senators Amidala have her, Organa and Mothma meet us at the temple please." Obi-Wan asked. "I will do that Master." Hadrian had Ryoko send the message and they received the confirmation of the request. The Dark Phoenix flew down into the atmosphere under cloak and made its way right to the Temple's docking bay.
The ship landed and it was met by Plo Koon, Aayla Secura, Shaak Ti, Yoda and Mace Windu. "Grateful we are to you four and your timely arrival. Welcome home." Yoda said to them. "Thank you, Master I have some news that I have put off sharing with you all." Anakin said as Senators Amidala, Organa and Mothma walked in. "Senator Amidala and I are married and expecting a child." Anakin said to them. "Know this we do, support you we will." Yoda replied. "But how did you find out?" Anakin asked Yoda. "Knew we have since you returned from Naboo but said nothing we did out of respect knowing you would approach us eventually." Yoda responded. "Thank you master. Now for the bad news. Dooku is dead however I did not kill him but yet I saw a hooded figure kill Dooku and I caught a glimpse under the hood, and it was… My face." "A clone?" Obi-Wan asked. "I think so and he called himself Darth Vader and somehow the Chancellor got free and got to an escape pod shortly before Grievous launched all of them and luckily Ahsoka and the others were near and got us off the ship." "Disturbing this news is, begin planning to evacuate the temple and send messages to Jedi across the galaxy to keep watch we must." Yoda said emphatically. "I agree. I've received word that the Chancellor is in his office apparently unharmed and has requested the presence of young Skywalker." Mace said as he walked in. "Master keep your wrist comm on and have it set to broadcast to mine, and we will listen in to the conversation." Ahsoka said to Anakin. "I'll do that Ahsoka thank you." Anakin responded and with Yoda's permission he went to meet with the Chancellor.
"Hadrian is the offer your parents and grandparents made still on the table?" Mace asked. "It is I will contact them and ask them for assistance in evacuating the temple. We have a ship that we can send covertly and use what we call transporters to get the younglings out of the temple along with the babies. What they do is convert matter to energy then move it from one place to another where the energy is converted back to matter. We have that system aboard our ship, but we do not use it out of caution because our government does not trust the Chancellor. There are some senators we trust, and they are here in this room." Hadrian said referring to Senator Amidala, Senator Organa and Senator Mothma who were there representing the Delegation of 2000. "We thank you for your trust Master Corvinus. I fear for my own safety being pregnant with Anakin's child." "Understand we do, have Jedi bodyguards you will now have. A look alike we have for you to join your bodyguard corps. Watch out for any signs of danger she will." Yoda replied knowing something like this was going to happen. "Thank you, Master Yoda. I shouldn't be surprised that you foresaw an event like this." She replied. "Thank you I do Senator but if this I foresaw… The war's beginning I should have seen as well." Yoda said solemnly.
As they continued to talk Ahsoka's comm went online. "Anakin, this afternoon the Senate is going to call on me to take direct control of the Jedi Council. "Anakin looked concerned "The Jedi will no longer report to the Senate?" "They will report to me . . . personally. The Senate is too unfocused to conduct a war. This will bring a quick end to things." Palpatine replied.
"I agree, but the Jedi Council may not see it that way." Anakin stated. "There are times when we must all endure adjustments to the constitution in the name of security." The chancellor countered. "With all due respect, sir, the Council is in no mood for more constitutional amendments." Anakin replied. "Thank you, my friend, but in this case, I have no choice . . . this war must be won." Palpatine said with a grandfatherly smile. Anakin replied, "Everyone will agree on that." "Anakin, I've known you since you were a small boy. I have advised you over the years when I could ... I am very proud of your accomplishments. You have won many battles the Jedi Council thought were lost . . . and you saved my life. I hope you trust me, Anakin." "Of course." Palpatine looked at him sadly, "I need your help, son." "What do you mean?" Anakin asked. "I fear the Jedi. The Council keeps pushing for more control. They're shrouded in secrecy and obsessed with maintaining their autonomy . . . ideals. I find simply incomprehensible in a democracy." "I can assure you that the Jedi are dedicated to the values of the Republic, sir." Anakin replied to him. "Nevertheless, their actions will speak more loudly than their words. I'm depending on you." Palpatine said with a glimmer of hope. "For what? I don't understand."
"To be the eyes, ears, and voice of the Republic . . ." Anakin stood there thinking "Anakin . . . I'm appointing you to be my personal representative on the Jedi Council." "Me? A Master? I am overwhelmed, sir, but the Council elects its own members. They will never accept this."
"I think they will . . . they need you more than you know." Palpatine finished.
"Disturbing this is. Obi-Wan speak to young Skywalker you must. Feel I do that he is being drawn down a dark path." Yoda said. "I shall Master thank you." Obi-Wan replied walking out of the Council chambers to meet Anakin. "Reinstate you four we will but not put it on records as to not alert anyone fearful I am of the clones and intentions they may or may not have." Yoda said to Hadrian, Ryoko, Faora and Ahsoka." "Thank you master." The foursome replied. "This ship of yours how many passengers can you have?" Yoda asked. "With some modifications we can fit an additional 12 people in a room with 3 racks of 4 beds. We have plenty of food and drink. We will remain here at the temple helping to prepare everyone for evacuation and transport. The ship that will be beaming the younglings and babies will be the Dragon. It is the flagship of our fleet and is quite powerful and fast. If the events transpire in a way that force us to fight our way out of the system, we will. Master Yoda, please get all of the Holocrons out of the temple to prevent anyone from gaining them and have Master Nu transfer the library to a computer system that can be taken to a new place for the Jedi to have access to it." Hadrian said to the group. "Get started on that Master Nu will and pack the holocrons I will and give them to you for safe storage aboard your ship." Yoda replied to them.
Meanwhile, Anakin and Obi-Wan were talking about the meeting that had just taken place, "Master when the Chancellor said he was appointing me to the council I felt cold and darkness flow from him as if to influence me to accept. Which I did but I knew you were all listening. I feel like he might be the Dark Lord of the Sith we've been after for years and has been under our nose the whole time." "Remember Anakin it is one thing to be certain but to accuse the Chancellor of treason and being a Sith Lord is very dangerous not to just yourself but to the Order as well." Obi-Wan counseled him. "I understand master, I think I should go undercover and play his game with the comms Hadrian gave us I can summon them if I am in trouble." Anakin replied. "We should speak with Yoda and the other members of the Council first." Obi-Wan said to his former student. "Yes, master." Anakin replied.
The pair went back up to the council chambers and began briefing the council. "If what you say is true Anakin then I am sorry to ask you to spy for us on the Chancellor." "I understand Master, but I am willing to do so. Since my old padawan and the others have been back the dreams I've had about Padme dying at childbirth have gone away. That gives me hope that I am doing the right thing." Anakin responded with hope in his eyes. "I am glad for you Anakin." Mace said to him.
"Masters if I do not return from this mission make sure Padme is on one of those ships, I do not trust anyone outside the Jedi Order at the moment." "I will make sure of that Anakin you have my word." Obi-Wan replied. "Accept you to the council we will but make you a master we do not. Our own council will we keep on who becomes a master." "Objections to your appointment to the council will appear on the official record but we would have elevated you after the war because of your ingenuity and unique way of fighting. Now when the Chancellor looks at the record, he will be pleased that we are against you and will use that to entice you as well." Plo Koon said as he stood up to congratulate Anakin on his appointment.
Later on that evening Anakin was summoned to the opera by the Chancellor who told him that Grievous was hiding on Utapau and told the story of a man called Darth Plagueis the Wise to further entice Anakin to the Dark Side of the Force. Anakin reported back to the council about the mission to Utapau and it was decided that Obi-Wan should go and take with him Hadrian and his ship from which his fighter would dock with once his plan went forward. Staying behind Ryoko, Ahsoka and Faora contacted the Dragon with orders to start transporting the younglings and the babies to quarters aboard along with the caretakers. 6 hours later word came through that Grievous was dead and that Obi-Wan and Hadrian were leading the fight on Utapau. Anakin went to tell the Chancellor who then told Anakin that he was indeed the Dark Lord. 3 hours later the transporting stopped, and the ship went under its cloak again to avoid anyone one spotting the ship. They later spotted Anakin leaving the temple when asked where he was going, he said "The Chancellor's office. Something is happening, Masters Windu, Agen Kolar, Saesee Tiin, and Kit Fisto went to confront the Chancellor after I confirmed he is the Dark Lord. I heard him calling to me. Don't worry I am going to help the Jedi." Anakin said as he left and went to a speeder.
After getting in the speeder he flew to the Senate building and ran to the Chancellor's office to find Master Windu with the blade of his lightsaber at Palpatine's throat. "Anakin you see… The Jedi are plotting to take over." "No we aren't we are trying to restore peace." Mace responded as Palpatine threw force lighting at Windu and it was deflected back to Palpatine, and his face began to deform as if showing his true face. Palpatine pleaded for Anakin's help instead he got Anakin's saber at his throat. Palpatine's voice went into a deeper register, "So this is the path you have chosen? Lord Vader show our guests out through the window." Palpatine said and a hooded figure appeared who then took off the hood to show Anakin's face but with Sith features. Anakin was in shock to see the figure and was at a loss for words when Mace Windu grabbed him, and they jumped out the window triggering their comms for transport. Luckily Palpatine and the newly revealed Darth Vader thought they were dead.
Aboard the Dragon Anakin and Mace Windu appeared on the pad. "Master Skywalker, Windu welcome board the Dragon we've been intercepting a message from the Chancellor's office to all of the Clone troops it is called Order 66" "Dragon this is Knight Tano along with Knights Nakano and Tepes we've received word that this Darth Vader is marching on the temple with the 501st…." Anakin's face went blank, "I need to get Padme, Artoo and Threepio out of the capital at once." As Anakin finished talking his wife and their droids appeared on the ship and they embraced. "What happened?" She asked. Anakin explained that the Jedi went to arrest Palpatine, and he assassinated 3 Council members and nearly killed Windu and himself, but they were transported here. "What about Obi-Wan and Hadrian?" Padme asked as she thought of Hadrian as her nephew. "Hadrian is on his way back and Obi-Wan is with Yoda aboard Bail Organa's vessel." "Anakin, I need to return to the capital if what is about to happen happens, I need to be there." Padme said, "If I did not show up to a special session suspicion would fall upon me and I can't let that happen. After that I will leave with you." She finished. "I understand Padme. Keep your bodyguard close." Anakin replied. "I will. I love you." Padme finished then asked to be transported back to her apartment at 500 Republica.
A day later they were all notified that the Chancellor was about to address the Galactic Senate and the citizens of the Republic. On their screen was a news reporter speculating that it was the end of the years long war or that it was about to go for another year, "Here we go live to the Senate for Chancellor Palpatine's speech."
"Citizens of the civilized galaxy, on this day we mark a transition. For a thousand years, the Republic stood as the crowning achievement of civilized beings. But there were those who would set us against one another, and we took arms to defend of way of life against the Separatists. In doing so, we never suspected that the greatest threat came from within.
The Jedi, and some within our own Senate, had conspired to create the shadow of Separatism using one of their own as the enemy's leader. They had hoped to grind the Republic into ruin. But the hatred in their hearts could not be hidden forever. As last, there came a day when our enemies showed their true natures.
The Jedi hoped to unleash their destructive power against the Republic by assassinating the head of government and usuring control of the clone army. But the aims of the would-be tyrants were valiantly opposed by those without elitist, dangerous powers. Our loyal clone troopers contained the insurrection within the Jedi Temple and quelled uprisings on a thousand worlds.
The remaining Jedi will be hunted down and defeated. Any collaborators will suffer the same fate. These have been trying times, but we have passed the test.
The attempt on my life has left me scarred and deformed, but I assure you my resolve has never been stronger. The war is over. The Separatists have been defeated, and the Jedi rebellion has been foiled. We stand on the threshold of a new beginning.
In order to ensure the security and continuing stability, the Republic will be reorganized into the first Galactic Empire, for a safe and secure society, which I assure you will last for 10,000 years. An Empire that will be continue to be ruled by this august body and a sovereign ruler chosen for life. An Empire ruled by the majority, ruled by a new constitution.
By bringing the entire galaxy under one law, one language, and the enlightened guidance of one individual, the corruption that plagued the Republic in its later years will never take root. Regional governors will eliminate the bureaucracy that allowed the Separatist movement to grow unchecked. A strong and growing military will ensure the rule of law.
Under the Empire's New Order, our most cherished beliefs will be safeguarded. We will defend our ideals by force of arms. We will give no ground to our enemies, and we will stand together against attacks from with or without. Let the enemies of the Empire take heed: Those who challenge Imperial resolve will be crushed.
We have taken on a task that will be difficult, but the people of the Empire are ready for the challenge. Because of our efforts, the galaxy has traded war for peace and anarchy for stability. Billions of beings now look forward to a secure future. The Empire will grow as more planets feel the call, from the Rim to the wilds of unknown space.
Imperial citizens must do their part. Join our grand star fleet. Become the eyes of the Empire by reporting suspected insurrectionists. Travel to the corners of the galaxy to spread the principles of the New Order to barbarians. Build monuments and technical wonders that will speak of our glory for generations to come.
The clone troopers, and proudly wearing the name of Imperial stormtroopers, have tackled the dangerous work of fighting our enemies on the front lines. Many have died in their devotion to the Empire. Imperial citizens would do well to remember their example.
The New Order of peace has triumphed over the shadowy secrecy of shameful magicians. The direction of our course is clear. I will lead the Empire to glories beyond imagination.
We have been tested, but we have emerged stronger. We moved forward as one people - the Imperial citizens of the first Galactic Empire. We will prevail. Ten thousand years of peace begins today."
The senate chambers erupted in cheers and applause while those watching from across the galaxy were now more afraid than ever. Meanwhile back in the temple Obi-Wan and Yoda dispatched a patrol of troopers and went to change the beacon to warn all surviving Jedi to stay away and hide. Then they looked at the security recordings and were astonished. "That can't be Anakin…" Obi-Wan said despondent. "Anakin that is not a clone it is and remarkable too." Yoda said as they watched the newly proclaimed Emperor walk into the recordings and tell him to go to the Mustafar system. "Go to Mustafar you will with Anakin and defeat this Dark Lord. Handle the Emperor I will. If fail I do transported, I will be to the Dragon and rendezvous with you near the Mustafar system." Yoda said to him.
"Yes Master, I will contact Anakin and hopefully Hadrian is back by now and we can have him take us there." Obi-Wan said before he turned around to leave. Yoda went to his private chambers to meditate about how he would face the new Emperor.
Meanwhile the Dark Phoenix landed at a secret landing bay and waiting there was Ahsoka, Ryoko and Faora along with Obi-Wan and Anakin. "Hadrian, Anakin and Obi-Wan need to go to Mustafar and were asking if we could take them." Fay said "Get on board everyone Mustafar awaits. Of course Master Obi-Wan we will take you." Hadrian responded. The group boarded the ship, and it took off setting course for Mustafar and making the jump into hyperspace.
"What is on Mustafar master?" Ahsoka asked. "My clone… Darth Vader he assassinated Dooku and led the attack on the temple." Anakin replied.
