Hey guys, this is a new story. Its finally a mini crossover but not enough to be classed as a formal crossover. Only the character of Lucifer will be making an appearance. So I just wanted to say you don't need to know too much about Lucifer the show to understand this story. The majority of this will be in the PJO universe with the occasional reference to the show, but the main thing is that Lucifer is in the PJO universe. So I hope that you guys enjoy. And lets get ready for it.
Percy wanted to die. It was as simply as that. He was left wandering the country on his way to LA asking Hades to release him from this hell on earth that he was stuck on. Hades was after all one of the only gods who hadn't treated him as an outcast, Percy guessed that it was because he knew how it felt to be sent out by the people you gave your everything to. Percy stepped off of the coach and looked at the city of LA, potentially the last place he would be alive, thinking back to what lead him here.
The war was nearly over, the world was about to fall to storm of fire. Six of the seven demigods lay on the floor alongside Nico at the foot of Mount Olympus looking up at the only one of them left standing. The giants were down after being finished by the gods who were now incapacitated by the being who stood above all of the others.
Gaia.
She stood made of solid earth with poisonous green eyes. Glaring down at the last one standing.
Percy Jackson.
The biggest thorn in her side stood shakily in front of her, trying to hold his sword up. Slowly but surely, he stood up straight.
"You may have knocked us all back down but we will always get back up. No matter the fight, no matter the war. We will always come back and fight for our family. I do not care what it takes but we will defeat you because we will never stop fighting."
Gaia just laughed,
"You cant say that when you're the only one standing."
Percy stood his ground and continued to stare deep into Gaia's eyes, unwilling to give up.
"But he's not alone."
Percy looked to his left where Annabeth reached out and grabbed his hand. The rest of the seven surrounded them and Nico also stood alongside them.
"Eight demigods are still not enough to fight me, you should know this."
Gaia's smile started to waiver as everyone started to get up.
"As my son said, we will keep on fighting."
Poseidon stood behind his son and all the Olympians started to stand alongside him in their godly height.
Percy held his sword towards the primordial goddess and twisted it slowly until it was level with her eyes.
"You're going back to sleep Gaia, either that or you die and you can join your husband in Tartarus."
She growled at the demigods and raised her hands,
"You will be the ones going to hell."
Then the earth started fighting.
Clumps of earth flew into the the heroes and gods but the dirt sharpened as it flew. Percy screamed and then the storm started. A hurricane fuelled by anger and desperation by a young man tired of being the centre of two wars. The winds knocked the stones out of the air. Annabeth gasped,
"To storm or fire the earth must fall!"
Everyone realised that this was it, this was finally going to end while Percy slowly approached Gaia who was slowly growing in panic and desperation. The storm was putting away all of her attacks. The earth started shaking and at first the gods and heroes were fearful, until they saw the same look on Gaia's face.
"That's not me, that's my son." Poseidon exclaimed when everyone looked to him. Zeus looked angry and cautious, the rest of the Olympians looked the same. But Hestia and Hades looked hopeful along with Poseidon. Artemis looked at Percy with a different emotion, but it was not angry or cautious like the others or even hopeful. It looked something like pride or a smile behind the eyes.
The heroes looked on with different emotions on their face. But for a lot of them, it seemed like... envy?
Percy got close enough and grabbed Gaia by the robes and looked into her eyes.
His eyes held fury, her eyes showed fear.
"Go to hell." Percy whispered.
He shoved riptide into her abdomen and Gaia gasped in pain.
Then the gods raised their weapons and fired all of their power into her. Every last bit of energy from the gods and the heroes went into destroying the earth.
Percy pulled his sword out and then the energy hit Gaia. She screamed and a massive shock wave threw everyone back. The scream of a dying primordial.
Her silver ichor seeped out of the wound in her abdomen and out of her eyes. Before one last shock wave forced everyone to close her eyes. When they all opened their eyes. There was peace and no one spoke a word.
All they did was teleport everyone back to America, back to Olympus.
(Percy)
The gods made their way to their thrones and the heroes and I stood in the centre of the room.
Zeus took his master bolt and shot it into the sky signalling the start of a council meeting.
"Gods and heroes, we have done it. We have finally defeated the enemies of Olympus. The bravery of the gods..."
Blah blah blah, I could not be bothered to listen to anymore of his speech after the day I've just had.
"So now we must reward our heroes. Jason come forward."
That makes sense, he is Jupiter's son.
"We wish to reward you and the other heroes for your valiant efforts in the war."
Jason beamed in pride and accepted. Zeus shot him with his master bolt but rather than lightning, a white energy stuck Jason in the chest.
"Welcome Jason Grace, minor god of the winds."
Jason walked back to us with a tremendous smile on his face. I'm proud of him, we may have had a rocky start but he did become a good friend.
Then one by one, each hero was called up by their parent and given the same thing.
"Welcome Piper Mclean, minor goddess of charm."
"Welcome Frank Zhang, minor god of transformations."
"Welcome Hazel Levesque, minor goddess of valuable jewels and metals."
"Welcome Leo Valdez, minor god of fire and tools."
"Welcome Nico Di Angelo, minor god of the dead, Prince of the underworld, king of ghosts and the heir of Hades."
Nico looked ecstatic as his father looked down proudly at his son, now finally being able to treat his son how he wanted now they were both immortal.
And finally Athena called Annabeth up, I was hoping she would reject their offer but if she did accept it then I would also. I was going to follow that girl everywhere she goes.
"Annabeth, before I make you this offer I must warn you that Percy will not be receiving the honer of godhood, if you take our offer then you must leave him."
I was shocked. Not to be arrogant but why was I not going to get this offer, I was the one who delivered the final blow to Gaia, without me they would not have killed her. I may be angry but at least she would turn them down so we could stay together, right?
"I accept."
She didn't even look behind her. She didn't even look behind her to see my heartbreak. Artemis looked at me sympathetically along with Hestia, Hades and my father. The heroes looked at me with pity.
All I could think was why. I didn't understand. Everything I did, I did for her. She left me for power? Bloody hubris. I knew it would cause a rift between us at some point, but not this. I couldn't believe this.
Athena shot a beam of white energy into Annabeth's chest.
"Welcome Annabeth Chase, minor goddess of Architecture, Tactics and Pride."
Pride huh? Makes sense.
(3rd Person)
Annabeth turned to the other demigods with a beaming smile on her face until her eyes met the broken eyes of Percy. Her smile faltered, when she saw him because she felt guilty. Not because she took the offer, she would've taken it no matter what, she felt guilty that Percy was now upset at her.
"How could you...?"
Annabeth felt her heart break ever so slightly.
'Why could he not understand that this is what she wanted?' she thought, 'the thing that her and Percy had was temporary, but immortality, that was permanent.'
"Look Percy i'm sorry. But you know ive always wanted something permanent, and nothing is more permanent than immortality."
Percy shook with anger and sadness.
he just didn't get it. He thought that what they had was going to be permanent. At least... Thats what he wanted. All Percy wanted was peace and to marry that girl. He thought that he would grow old with Annabeth, have a family and then die and find peace in elyssium.
But apparently not.
But the meeting wasnt over, and Zeus began his final speech.
"Perseus Jackson!" He roared and everyone turned towards the king of the gods.
"Your power has reached unprecedented levels, and because of that we have begun to fear you."
Percy was shocked, why would they fear him? He has now fought two wars from them and do they still not trust him?
"Due to this we wish for you to swear your loyalty to Olympus!"
Percy was furious, they seriously doubt him that much? His fatal flaw was loyalty for god's sake.
It seemed like there were some on his side like the seven - minus Annabeth plus Nico- his father, Hestia, Hades and Artemis who were all looking at Zeus like he was crazy. And Percy was starting to think that he was.
"Why." Percy was scarily quiet.
"Why must I swear it, why do you doubt me. Have I not done enough for you to trust me?"
"If you are loyal then you will have no problem swearing loyalty."
It was Athena who spoke up in her calculating and patronising voice.
Percy had three words for them. The same words he uttered to Gaia before killing her.
"Go to hell."
Zeus immediately raised his master bolt ready to smite Percy before all the gods who backed him held Zeus back.
"Brother why do you do this? My son has done nothing but prove his loyalty. All that is going on is your paranoia overtaking you. You must not kill him."
Zeus glared at Poseidon. The council was split, but most of them shared Zeus' worry.
"Fine we will vote." Zeus bellowed, "All who wish for Percy to be killed or swear loyalty raise your hand."
Zeus, Hera, Athena, Ares, Demeter and Hephaestus raised their hands.
"All in favour to keep the boy alive."
Poseidon, Artemis, Apollo, Hermes, Aphrodite and Dionysus all voted to keep him alive.
Percy was surprised, he was sure that the council would vote to kill him. But surprisingly Dionysus voted for him to love, giving nothing but a nod to Percy.
'Maybe he's not to bad after all.' Percy thought.
Zeus was furious after the council vote didn't go his way. But he always had a backup.
"Very well we will not kill you Percy Jackson..."
Percy and everyone on his side breathed a sigh of relief"
"However, you may never again access the resources of Olympus. You are banished from the camps and you may not interact with anyone. We will use the mist to completely wipe you from the mind of your mortal family so that you have no one. Goodluck on your own Percy Jackson you'll need it. And we hope to never see you again."
Percy felt himself about to be flashed away as if Olympus itself were kicking him out.
The last things he saw were the faces of his now immortal friends, his father Aunt and Uncle and finally the piercing silver eyes of Artemis staring at him with tears in her eyes.
(Percy)
And thats lead to now. Now in LA ready to ask Hades to give him an honourable death as technically, the underworld was not a part of Olympus. I had lost the will to live. My family had forgotten me, when I went to see my mum she thought I was some sort of paper boy. The barrier at Camps held me back like I was a monster. And now all I could do was travel.
But then I heard a voice in my head.
Go to Lux.
Well thats weird. Im not used to hearing voices in my head. But for some reason I wanted to listen. However, I had no idea who or what Lux was. So I asked around most people looked at me weirdly and told me im a bit too young to be asking that. Until one person looked at him with an odd look in his eye and uttered some words that I didn't realise the magnitude of until I finally knew what they meant.
(3rd Person)
"You're looking for him aren't you?"
Percy was confused but nodded, and then the person gave him directions.
Apparently Lux was this big club in LA that is very popular.
So thats where Percy went.
When he walked in there was a massive party, if his mum still remembered him then she would not like him being here. There was alcohol, half dressed women, and Percy was sure he saw some drugs being passed around.
Then Percy saw some monsters hidden behind the mist, but they all looked harmless and like they were having fun so he left them. Then his eyes found the man currently playing the piano in the centre of the club.
He was tall, thin but muscled and was wearing what looked like an expensive suit. He had pitch black hair but his back was turned to Percy. He played the piano gracefully and with absolute mastery.
But when Percy got close, he stopped and called out.
"And who might you be? Coming into my club so young."
Percy tensed up, he was quiet and had no idea how the man knew he was there. But he still answered his question.
"My name is Percy Jackson, who are you?"
The man stood up and turned towards Percy while adjusting his suit.
He looked at Percy with a smirk on his face.
His face was chiselled and defined. He was handsome. His smirk was one of charisma and confidence.
His eyes work dark and powerful.
"Well aren't you a curious one, well if you must know..." The man said was confidence and amusement.
He looked Percy dead in the eyes and spoke the words that would change both of their lives.
"My name is Lucifer Morningstar."
Hope you enjoyed that guys, as I said i'm not going to class this as a crossover as its only one character but if i have to then i will. I just want to make sure more people get a chance to read this. So anyway, please review etc and check out my other story. But see you later. Au revoir.
